Hidden Flower
"What was the information you have Uzui?" Master Ubuyashiki had called for an emergency meeting and was lucky that all the hashira had been at the estate. Uzui since retirement still tried to be useful to the corps, he turned to gathering information when he could and turning it over to his former Master. However, the recent information gathered was quite disturbing and worrisome.
"Some of the demons I've been tracking have been talking about a human who has Muzan favor." He sighs. "Apparently this person has knowledge that he seeks and is protected in a town not too far from here."
"What?!"
"We need to attack now!"
"That poor person."
All of the voices of the hashira jumbled over each other, each varying from worried to shock.
"What knowledge do they have?." Ubuyashiki voice seems to silence the others.
"How to help him walk in the sun. They come from a family of apothecaries and monks, Muzan must believe they might know something. " Uzui adds. He had been asking around so he could gather more information. You are the youngest of three, and had been born blind, the two oldest when for more modernish jobs to get the family out of the old times, while you seemed to dabble in both ends despite your blindness. You had become well-known because of your remedies, the people came to you for their ailments and prayers. You seemed to be well liked by everyone.
It had been a complete shock that you had vanished one night after a festival and the night your family decided a bride for you to marry. You had came back home with your siblings, while your parents stayed behind to have some time for themselves. Each of you went your separate ways. A servant had came to offer you tea when they saw you being carried off.
They had quickly rush to find your siblings and get a search party started.
That's had been three months ago.
The bride has been waiting in hopes of your safe return alone with your family
"We have to strike! If they have any ideas of how to make Muzan walk in the sun then were all doomed." Sanemi spoke up.
"It would be foolish to rush in now. We have to come up with a plan." Kocho adds which seemed like most of the hashira agreed on. "But this is our chance! A surprise attack could help us have an edge on muzan." Once again the room fills with chatter each hashira having a point on the matter. While the others talked over each other Ubuyashiki looked to where he think Uzui is sitting. "Where is the town Uzui?"
"They are two towns away from here. I don't know where exactly but I imagine they have demons guards all over the place." Ubuyashiki nods taking in the information. They have a place to start, but now it's just trying to find them....
After arguments were settled a plan had been made. Now short another Hashira that had to make do what who they had and including Tanjiro. The crows would be use the scout the area of the town, look for any posable place the demons could be hiding. Any possible place would be checked out by a Hashira in secret, once that town it self had been cleared then the crows would move more out to the more rural areas watching and waiting for anything suspicious. The only strange part of this town, if information was right and demons were in the area guarding the person, had been free from demon attacks. No one in the town had been taken or consumed.
"You sure this information was correct Uzui?"
"Yes...I have no doubt the information I gathered is correct."
And so began the search. It was a bit hard since they still had other missions to do at the same time as this, but they made it work. The crows would search, look at all locations in the small town before finding that seemed odd.
Senami had been first to check out the building with no luck.
Then It had been Kocho turn with Tanjiro who both found nothing
Nothing turned up in the town so the the crows moved out to the country side.
A month went by till one night a stroke of luck happen to grace the demon slayers.
A crow had stopped to rest at an old mansion. They flap around deciding to at least check the place out. It wasn't till they got to a garden that they see a person in the center feeding of the animals from the woods. "It seems like we have a new comer."
The crow watched as the person pulls out some bread crumbs from their bag and hold it. The crow flaps about, unsure if they are the one they are looking for. The circle around once before landing on their hand to have a closer look at the eat the bread crumbs.
"Oh your a bird. I don't have much interactions to birds, but you seem nice." They look to like the human they are looking for. "My guards only let out once in a while it makes me a bit envious that the animals around here come and go as they pleased."they smile at the end of that. Your a bit heavier then the birds that come around here, you must be a bigger bired." And the crow confirms that his human has to be the one they are looking for.
"Oi! Human it's time to come back. The master is coming!" They look in the direction where the voice came from, the illusion that shrouds the mansion breaks, and the crow can see that its was more lively than what they thought to be. Gone were the overgrowth and broken walls. "Well, new friend it's time for me to go." Demons ....nothing but demons filled the home and there was one upper moon there. "Akaza I didn't know you would be the guard for today." The crow hops off their hand still in shock over all the information. "That is the point you never are supposed to know." You sigh "I know...still wish I had a bit more freedom." You mumble and let Akaza guide you back into the illusion. "Not with the slayers...we can't have them taking you. Then we would all be in trouble." And the illusion goes back as soon as you both entered. The crow flew as fast it could, it wings beating the wind to get them back
.
"So they know we know about (y/n)."
"It appears so."
"So what now? They don't appear to be in danger either..."
"That's because of the order Muzan gave them...hurting (y/n) would be death if they have the key." Ubuyashiki thanks for a moment. They still have the element of surprises, but now they now there is about ten other demons who stand watch while one upper moon is the body guard. Apparently they only have free time once in a while too...
"Send the crows out again... monitor the outings when (y/n) goes out... if we can time them then we have an opening."
And once again the crows are sent out to watch.
When they finally figured out a pattern they planned.
Three slayers would be sent out followed by two more in case for backup. The crows guided them and once there they waited.
Gyomei, Tomioka, and Sanemi were sent first. They had found an opening from a crake in the walls
Soon the illusion drops and they see you walking out. "Here human." A demon passes you a bag and you take it with a thanks and step further out. Soon animals come around as you start to feed them. "You know you three aren't as quiet as you think you are." You toss out some food from the pouch and let the animals feed. Nothing but silence.
"We are here to save you." Senami whispers, his eyes watching for the demons. So fare he counted five alone in the front that not including the upper moon who has yet to make themselves known. They all had their nichirin at the ready, Tomioka would the one to grab you while Sanemi and Gyomei would fight off the demons just enough to distract them, and then they would join the both of you and meet up with the other as headquarters.. You gave a questioning look at their direction. You were about to speak when a demon called out to you. "Oi who are you talking to?!"
Before you can get a word out your bring scooped up and then you hear the clashing of metal and demons. You hold on to the fabric you do feel for dear life as you try to not to panic.
"Wait! There's a miss understanding!" You yell and clutch the fabric harder.
"It will be okay, I'm sorry for picking you up like this but we need to get you to safty." Giyuu voice does calm you a bit, but still, Muzan won't be happy. "No, you don't understand I wasn't kidnapped!" This does make him stumble in his steps. He stops running and ducks behind a tree. "What do you mean not kidnapped?" He breathing hard and slightly on edge. This break can't be for long or else the demons would be here and he doesn't know the status of his comrades either. "The kidnapping was staged. I didn't wish to be married if I was already in love with someone else...we staged a kidnapping."
"What?" He hears the demons and is quick to pick you up. "I'm sorry but we have to keep moving. I promise to hear you out once we are safe."
"But he will be upset! Please head back and I can fix this before you and your friends end up dead!". You counter.
"MOVE IT TOMIOKA!" the wind pillar yells as he runs next to him. The pick up the speed with Gyomei following next to them. All you can think about is the trouble this whole mess was gonna start. At least it wasn't Akaza turn to watch over you but it was Doma...which was the only good thing to come from this.
*time skip*
You can tell you are somewhere with wisteria. You can smell it in the air as you sit in waiting. Nothing but nerves fill you as you play with the hem of your clothes. "The Master is here." And you can feel the floorboards shift under the weight of footsteps as the person walks over to you. "It's nice to meet you (y/n)"
"Please you have to take me back!" Your nerves getting the better of you and you take a breath." Please you must take me back-"
"Dont worry we will take you home soo-" you quickly cut off the person
"Not there! You don't understand Please let me explain!"
"Then do. We only know you were kidnapped by Muzan and he was using you to help him walk in the sun." The master's gentle voice tries to ease your worry.
"Originally yes...but things changed. The kidnapping was staged to avoid me getting married...all this was planned to get me away from my family." You think about that day when you got the news of your arranged marriage.
You knew eventually they would find someone for you, but you didn't think it would be so soon. The walk back to your room was a long as your older siblings congratulated you about the marriage, you gave them empty smiles and thanks till you got back to your room where you promptly fell to your knees and cried.
You thought you had more time.
Your parents had always been too protective over you, but you always showed promise as apothecary and working the shrine near the home, that you thought one day you could finally have them leave you alone, but no. Your grandparents were the ones who let you be free and taught you everything they knew since neither of your older siblings showed interest.
Then Muzan came...
You feel how the air got heavy in your village, like something died and it never left.
You had been cleaning the shrine that winter...
Keeping it clean and stocked incase a tired traveler need to stop and rest during that harsh winter. The shrine hadn't been far from your home, so refused the help your parents had suggested you bring. You played in that shrine when you were a kid, you memorize the layout.
And with how the air felt if someone did come with you they would surely be dead.
"The smell of death hangs on you like a child clinging to its mother." You say just as you hear the first step into the snow, taking note of the same feeling you had been having seem to be stronger with whoever is walking to you. You keep working not bothering to turn waiting for them to start.. "It is wise not to make me upset." The voice is slightly deep with a hint of bitterness, however you pay no mind to it even if the voice makes your heart flutter a bit. "I'm usually more nicer, but ever since you entered my town I've been on edge. Whatever ill intentions you I ask for you to leave this place."
"And you would turn away a traveler who has never done a thing?"
"If the traveler didn't have ill intentions. I may be blind good sir but I am not and idiot. Tell me what it is you are looking for so you can get on your way." You wanted him gone.
"And I thought we could be civil." You feel him close to you now. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up, the smell of death even stronger. Your thoughts go back to that one summer when you were a child. Your grandparents taught you everything they new. Told you stories that had truth, warning that kept you up at night as a child. One particular story was about demons and slayers....and the king of demons on a search for a blue flower.
"I never thought I would be dealing with a demon...what a lucky person I am." You smile. Maybe...maybe you can use this you thought.
"And I'm guessing you wish to know about the blue spider lily." He grips your clothes and pulls you closer to him almost lifting you up in process. "Tell me!"
"For a price."
*stop flash back*
"The price...."
"In exchange of me telling Muzan what he wanted he would help me get out of my family to have my freedom." You sigh and though if Muzan already knows of your kidnapping and if Doma is already getting punished or something. "During that time both me and Muzan were using each other. However things changed by this winter." You remember how it started with an argument when your betrothed had came over to meet you for the first time. During the months after meeting Muzan a bit of tension had raised between the both of you. You didn't scare easily like he thought you would, anything he said that should scare you you just throw it back at his face. No one dared to try that with him...it only upset him more while it just made you smirk at his irration.
"Any second thoughts about your betrothed?"His voice held some type of anger, which you always heard so you think nothing of it at the time. "Thought I sensed you....and no...I still wish to be free." And well Muzan had also gotten under your skin too, his attitude drives you ip the wall but you cant deny a certain attraction to him.
" You sure didn't look like it." he scoffed you make your way to sit at you desk. You rested your chin on the palm of your hand as you face his direction. " Be careful Muzan. It sounds like your getting jealous over nothing." Your wife seemd nice and you felt a little bad about leaving her to face her family once your kidnapping, but you know she could find another spouse. " And beside why would I leave? All you would do is hunt me down.
"I could kill you."
"And then you'll be back at square one all over again." And you knew you shouldn't bee teasing Muzan when he clearly upset, but you cant help it. Your words push him. Suddenly he is right infront of you gripping your chin to look at him. Yet you don't feel scared by this or him.
" What are you-!?"
His lips
His lips were on yours
You never thought they would be soft
Soon you found yourself kissing him back, moaning as his tongue slips into the kiss. From there the cold winter night was warmed and was the start of something new.
"Your Muzans lover!?" A new up roar started at you information you spilled. Though your thoughts were elsewhere, thinking if Muzan has already learned the news of your capture or if he's already punishing Doma. Either way you need to get back to him.
"I would like to back at his side..."
"That would be best I believe...however this issue is your knowledge of the blue spider lily." The others don't seem to pick up of your conversation with the Master yet seeing that they are still in shock and talking over each other. "Ah yes...that... not to worry. He can't find it." You smile.
"How is that?" He asked.
"I can't guide him to the flowers...that and I wouldn't really know where to find them." The story your grandmother told you about them was interesting one. A flower that blooms in day as blue as a sapphire she told you. The flower was one to hide and very picky where it grows which is why no one could really find it, but she did once."You must never try to find it or a demon will capture you." she whispers in the dead of night. "a demon?" she nods. The story she told made you tired enough to droop off into sleep. "yes...promise me you'll never try to findit."
"The blue spider Lilly can hide well. And well it doesn't bloom as often as you think. Your lucky to find one in bloom." And even if you did know where to find it there is no guarantee it would be in bloom. So you began to help Muzan try out different ways. With your back ground as an apothecary and spiritual knowledge you sure you can find something, though it's best not to tell the slayers that.
"We can't let them go back." One hashira mutters.
"Master!"
You hear the rush steps of someone running asthe door opens with a slam making everyone quite. Whoever the person was out of breath and breathing hard. "What is it my child?" It took the person a minute to spreak. "Demons! They have surrounded the area!"
"Since when!" The Hashira begin to get ready for a fight
"Just moments ago! "
"Stand down." The master's voice makes everyone stop.
"You shall return to Muzan side.... hopefully this would rectify this situation."
"MASTER!?"
"Dont worry ill talk to him...and thank you."
"You can't be serious! All this for nothing!?"
"Stand down Senami. Muzan still doesn't know were the flowers is nor can (y/n) show them...at this point in time I think they should be able to return back to Muzan." Their masters words seemed to ease them slightly. "But what about their family?" You thought for a moment before reaching up to your neck and braking the chain. "Use this... its my family's crest...they see this they know im dead."/em>
someone does reach for your hand and takes the necklaces and then helps you up. "You can't be serious." Senami grumbles "you want to go against masters wishes Senami?" It was the voice of the man who carried you earlier. "Escorts (y/n) to the front. I have no doubt a upper moon is waiting for them " and with that your taken to the front
"It was a stupid move you Demon Slayers pulled." You smile when you hear akaza. "Akaza it was miss understanding... my family got them to look for me."
"Doesn't mater he is upset none the less and is waiting for your safe return." You sighed. "Nothing I've haven't delt with before..." You can feel Muzan eyes on you. He is somewhere close by waiting for your return to his side. "Thank you for your care slayers."
"Is it wise to thank them after what they did?" Akaza walked over to you so you didn't have to walk much. "It was a mistake." Akaza sent a glare at the slayers as he took your hand and then lifted you up. He speeds off into the forest where Muzan is waiting
"(Y/n)" He growls and Akaza let's you down gently "Muzan." In an instant he his close to you bring you into a deep kiss. "You left." He allows you to take a breath as you try to clean your head from the lustful fog. "Not like I had much choice...thought I was a damsel in distress from what my family told them." You lean into his touch missing his presence while you were gone. "Which reminds me call the demons off. "
He growls. "No. They kidnapped you why should I!?" You sigh "it was a mistake...you'll have your chance later to finish off the demon slayers later. Tonight is not the night for war. Both sides aren't ready." You state mater of factly. Thought you can sense one side is getting a upper hand. "However I don't like it when others try to take what's mine." You smile gently at that. "Nothing will ever take me away from you...Now call it off...let's go home." He relents and the demons vanished and he picks you up in his arms. "Oh by the way what happened to Doma?" "Probably still healing his face after the beating I gave him for letting you get taken." "Ooo...how nice." And Muzan takes you back to the infinity castle.
