The White Berets yell as they chase you. After your parents died when the new God came you were left alone. You had to fend for yourself, resorting to stealing for food and anything you needed. No one tried to help you either. All them turned away from you...the true God did try to help but... he was still healing after the fight.
This time you caused your own doom. You took too much this time...and took something that was going to the God. You didn't what made you take the golden jewelry, but you did. You cluch the bag closer to you as you stumble down stairs. You kept running as the White Berets almost grabbed you.
They ran you to the beach. Where you skidded to a stop. You were at an edge....
You cluch the bag and look at the White Berets as they drew close to you. Gulping for air you look back at the cliff then back at the White Berets.
If this was your end then you make the most of it. Who would even care if you were gone. After what you did God Enel was gonna kill you. "There is no God! Nothing but a false God sits there! I renounce the God Enel! A faker and False man!" The White Berets heard this and stop running. Your words fill the air and you could feel the anger surround you. Surely you would die now after what you sad. You turn and jump off the edge taking chances with the beast that live in the clouds and in the human world. As you did so a lighting blot struck you.
Nothing but pain filled you

You wake with a joult and gasped out trying to catch your breath. You cluch your chest as you look around and try to calm yourself. Right. Your on the Going Marry. On your way to home...no not your home...what used to be your home. Everyone was sleeping completely obvious to your nightmare as the gentle rocking of the ship sends them to dream land. You quietly get up from your hammock and make your way to the bathroom. Once there you turn on the shower and let the water get warm. As you do so you take off your shirt and turn around to try to see the scars on your back in the mirror. Two lighten circles where your wings once were shine in the bathroom light. From there lightning marks took over your back along with burn mark where your feathers landed as they burned. Your back felt like it was on fire all over again. It's been years since that day...
It was pure luck your survived. That a military ship found you and took you in and heald you .
You had been scared back then. No one had ever been on the land below you had no idea what half of things were and what to do. Eventually you found and island to live and started up with stealing again. This time you had been more careful and almost invisible when it came to stealing. Then you met Luffy and his crew. And well...you joined.
It felt so much like home.
Like a home you wanted.
And everything seem to be going well...that is luffy found the map to Skypiea.
The nightmares you hadn't had since you were child started up all over again.
"As long as you keep hiding everything will be okay..." You mutter to yourself as you into the mirror. Sighing you go into the shower and try to relax.
*Time skip*
The crew noticed how you have been acting. How you kept more to yourself and been on edge since they found that map. You barely left the merry once since they arrived at the island . " is something wrong?" Robin asked as she sat next to you with a book at hand. "Noting of importance." Was all you had to say. She sent a questing eye to you as she glanced away from her book.
Something was upsetting you.
"I need to go to town for a bit... need anything?" You asked. "Nothing I can think of, though you want to ask Sanji if he needs anything."
And with that you left.
Things only got worse from there as they were getting close to skypiea. Anytime the map was mentioned you either looked away or kept your head down. When day came to actually go you kept inside the ship. "Dont you want to see us fly (y/n)?" Luffy asked with his usual smile.
"I don't want to get wet...or really see how this is gonna work." You say.
If how you fell from the heavens was rough you could only imagine what it's gonna be like to get up there. You shiver at the thought. You pull on the cloak you bought in town and give one last look at the crew before heading back inside. "And besides someone has to make sure everything is secure inside so nothing brakes." And with that you close the door and sigh.
You are gonna see your home for the first time in a long time....
And it scared you.

You stumble out to the deck of the ship and look around for everyone...
Then you see it
The clouds...

You heart shook at the sight in both shock and fright.

"Ughhh! Are we dead?" Usop asked as he struggled to get up like the others. "Sure feels like it." Zoro adds and moves to where you stood. He took a moment to pop his back before looking out. The sight of the clouds shocked him. "We actually made it." He sounded impressed.
"Yeah..."
Zoro took a quick look over you. Him and Robin had been the first one to pick up that something was up with you. As it seem like you've just seen a ghost.
"I'm gonna go back inside and fix everything, let me know if anything changes." And you move back to the rooms. Zoro and Robiln send exchange a look
Moments later they are being attacked...
