Melinda sits holding the bottle of Haig and the box in one hand. She opens the box after a long internal debate, whether or not to. She sees a key on top of a piece of paper unfolding the piece of paper she reads.
Dear Love,
If you are reading this it means the worst has happened and that I have passed away. I never wanted to leave you alone in this world. I have missed you more than I can express my love for you as never faded even though you no longer wish for me to be in your life. I am sorry that I couldn’t be what you needed, darling. I love our tea time even if it was in silence. Every moment with you was cherished. I love you and I always will.
I had instructions left for Daisy to give you this, if anything ever happened to me. Daisy’s been part of my life for the last four years. I met her a year after our separation. She was so fragile and had been through so much. She is better than anything I could’ve hoped or imagined for my daughter. She is a lot like you. I have hope that you will answer my last request. Please take care of her. I want you to be there for one another. I promise you she won’t make it easy but she is worth it all.
She has a rough past that is filled with tragedy after tragedy. Sometimes I don’t know how the world could be so cruel and she still be as caring as she is. She has a dog named Captain Fury that she rescued he is three now and Daisy was around the age of twelve when I first met her. I would run out of room on this page if I told you all the wonderful things about her. Only Nick, Tony,Natasha, and Clint know about her.
She will tell you everything about herself in time, but the others will help you by answering any questions. She is trained like a Black Widow in a different program so I don’t have to tell you to tread with caution. I hope you find happiness and take care of yourself.
