Addie Barnes lay curled up in bed, her body wracked with chills despite the warmth of the blankets wrapped around her. Her head throbbed with pain, and every movement sent waves of nausea coursing through her stomach. The flu had hit her hard, leaving her weak and exhausted.
Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, her fathers, hovered nearby, their concern palpable in the air. They had been taking turns sitting by her bedside, monitoring her fever and doing everything they could to ease her discomfort.
As Addie's fever spiked, she groaned softly, her voice barely a whisper. "I don't feel good," she mumbled, her words muffled by the pounding in her head.
