Drink?

Peter looks at the man who he used to look up to through tear filled eyes (and well his mask) before turning around and walking away.

Thankfully Iron man doesn’t try to stop him this time as he climbs up a building and before he knew it he was running and jumping across rooftops with no destination in mind (where was he supposed to go anyway? His home was destroyed and the Avengers compound was a no go for obvious reasons).

So instead Peter ended up in Hell’s Kitchen on a familiar rooftop of a certain bar.

Peter slowly walked into Sister Margret’s making a few heads turn, but Peter payed them no mind and sat down far away from the prying eyes who were wondering why Spider-man of all people was here in a merc bar.

The spider dropped his head on the table with a thud and true to the name Weasel weaselled his way over, dropping a drink in front of the arachnid.

“Who just died bug you look like shit”

Peter lifted his head up slightly to look at the man.

“Piss off… I’m not a bug I’m a spider which is an arachnid Ferret”

Peter said with enough spite it made even more head’s turn towards him, some stood up while Weasel backed away slightly, his hands up with a nervous and scared expression plastered across his face.

Weasel gulped and slowly pushed the alcohol closer to the spider.

“Drink?”

Peter rolled his eyes hoping it showed through the mask.

“I don’t drink”

He said flicking the drink with a bit too much force causing the glass to shatter and some glass went flying out at Weasel causing the man to shout.

It probably would have been funny if Peter wasn’t so pissed, the feeling intensified even more at the loss of control over his strength.

A few people started to surround him, probably to protect Weasel, but Peter made the wrong decision to get up which made the guys jump him.

The spider wasn’t expecting the contact that was placed on his shoulder and reacted as any normal person would and flipped the large guy over his shoulder with a bit to much force causing the person to wheeze and crack the old bar table.

In hindsight maybe that’s not what a normal person would do, but since when has Peter been a normal person.

The action caused some to back away, but it fuelled the fury of others.

Peter rolled his shoulders back just as his spider-sense spiked so he could duck out of the way in time to avoid a punch straight to the face.

“I’m not in the mood for this today guys”

Peter tried to quip as he tossed the person who tried to knock his face in, the key words were ‘tried to quip’ it sounded more like he was mocking them and taunting them.

And of course that made everyone who was reading to fight charge forward.

Said fight didn’t last long very long.

The thing about Spider-man is that he always tries to do the least damage possible to both people and property, but when he finally lets loose? Well ask Weasel who was frozen in shock as he looked around, his bar was destroyed and bodies were scattered everywhere, not dead he thinks.

A fast clap was heard and a cheering ‘whoop’ was heard from the entrance.

Peter’s head snapped around and he groaned as he saw Deadpool.

“Go Spidey! That was awesome!”

The merc cheered again as he walked and stepped over broken tables and people.

And that was Peter’s cue to leave, why did he even come in here?

“Hey Hey! Wait up what’s got your web’s in a twist Webs?”

Peter kept his head down and started walking away faster, jumping up after a moment deciding to just crawl on the ceiling over the wreckage towards the back exit instead.

“Leave me alone Deadpool I don’t feel like talking today”

The merc continued to follow the spider.

“I can see that! Starting a bar fight, I didn’t know you had it in you!”

Deadpool replied as he caught up and Peter grumbled and rolled his eyes, hoping that somehow the merc would see the action and get the message to leave him alone.

But this is Deadpool, why would he get the message much less leave.

“Weasel started it”

The spider spat and Deadpool gasped dramatically as Deadpool does and laughed as well which annoyed the ticked off spider further.

“Sorry Webs but Weasel is to much of a chicken to start a bar fight and you on the other hand sound like someone pissed in your food”

Peter rolled his eyes again doing his best to ignore the annoying panda eyed merc as he flipped down from the ceiling, opened the back door and walked out, hoping that for some reason Wade wouldn’t follow.

Deadpool sighed and followed the spider outside of the bar, he stepped in front of the teen and put his arms out.

“Come on Spidey you’re not one to do stuff like this it’s more my thing so wha-“

The question was cut short as Peter shoved the man into a wall an arm across his neck and the other slamming right into the wall, cracking the bricks, beside the merc’s head, way too close for comfort.

Hey Deadpool may be an enhanced mutant or whatever, but having his head crushed in by an angry spider is surprisingly not what he wanted to do right now, not to mention that shit would probably… fuck it… MOST DEFINITELY HURT!

“Maybe I’m not being clear enough W- Mr. Wade”

The spider said with strained patience and kindness.

“Leave. me. alone.”

It was silent for a moment…

Peter shook his head and sighed, he shouldn’t be getting angry at Deadpool, he hasn’t hurt him..

well not physically or well not on purpose…

He hopes.

The spider slowly backed away dropping the merc yet couldn’t stop the snap of his voice and the harsh tone that lined each word.

“Just leave me alone I can not deal with people like you today”

Peter didn’t really mean to say that, he didn’t want to say that, Wade isn’t like that.

Why did he say that?

The enhanced teen didn’t wait around for a response from the merc and turned away as to not see any sort of reaction.

He tried to stay calm, though it was hard with the array of emotions swirling around in his head and the phantom twinges of pain beginning to litter his body.

He needed to get out of here and quickly.

He scaled the building of Sister Margret’s in a matter of seconds and just let his body run on autopilot.

Because running away with his mind in a daze of emotions always worked out well for him…

———…

Deadpool was stunned by the tone that was used and despite wanting to rush after the web slinger he decided against it, he respected Spidey and whatever he was going through Wade had to hope that Spider-man wouldn’t take anything too far or do anything he would come to regret…
