Just keeps swinging into my life!
Peter eventually had to stop moving and just collapsed on a random roof. He was exhausted both physically and emotionally. He hadn’t eaten anything in almost two days as the sun was starting to come up and going this long without food was not great for anyone but especially for an enhanced spider teen.
As for the emotional exhaustion, well his anger was starting to sizzle out replaced with dread, frustration and sadness. What was he supposed to do now? He doesn’t have any family left, no place to live and well he might have money now because of his aunt’s pas- but he’s not old enough for that and being an enhanced individual in the system sounds like living hell.
So Spider-Man just lays on this rooftop letting the silent tears soak through his mask as he stares up at the sky slowly becoming brighter by the sun illuminating the sky, that for once was not representing his feelings (hey it just seems like most of the time it’s raining when he feels like crap, someone just died or something like super tragic happens).
Part of himself was wishing he took that drink Weasel offered him, well he knows he shouldn’t drink, but don’t people do that to forget their worries and drown out their feelings? Because he really wishes he could drown out his feelings right about now and with Aunt May now- he didn’t really have anyone to stop him from doing that, besides who would say Spider-Man can’t drink because for all anyone new he was an adult.
But instead of drowning his feelings with a not so healthy beverage that might not even work for him because of his enhanced metabolism, he might as well use his own coping mechanism…
Doing good as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man and distracting himself by swinging around a hundred feet in the air, yup sounds perfect!
Only one problem… check that two problems or three problems? Ok lots of problems! He doesn’t have his suit, he’s really damn hungry, pretty tired, doesn’t really have enough energy to keep up the ‘I’m the super friendly guy who’s going to try and save you’ escapade, oh and shit he should be at school!
Peter quickly begins to swing through the streets of New York towards Midtown despite the complaints of his body because for some reason school took priority in his ADHD conscious for the moment, but his attention was quickly drawn towards a broadcast on a giant screen showing J.J Jaymeson announcing the amazing success of the Avengers.
Seeing the news made Peter’s blood being to boil again, how could they be praised so much, why was he always ridiculed and insulted when he caused far less damage to the surrounding area and far fewer casualties and less suffering.
He then suddenly remembered how he was still swinging as he went crashing into a building, but don’t worry it was into a solid wall, no glass or screens were broken only his bones.
The spider fell backwards as J.J.J said : “sadly most people inside of the building were killed but the Avengers still saved the rest of our amazing New York”
Peter didn’t catch the rest as darkness soon surrounded his vision.

The next time Peter awoke was in a place he recognized all too well… it was a combination of the looks and lack of vision of the floor that he instantly knew where he was.
One of Deadpool’s apartments.
“DEADPOOL!!!”
The spider shouted putting his hands over his eyes, thankfully his mask was still on.
Said merc came skittering around a corner, having to actually get up off the ground with how fast he went.
He then brushed himself off before taking a few large confident strides toward Spider-Man and then leaning forward and he swears that the man was blinking exaggeratedly.
“Yes~”
The man said in a sing-song voice with his hands beside his head, honestly he sounded more like an old lady ready to make cookies or something for a sick child.
“Why am I in your house”
Spider-Man snapped, his hands falling from his face as he turned to look at the merc.
Deadpool face scrunched up and his voice went a few octaves higher.
“Well you see I know you asked me not to follow you”
The spider sighed and turned his head away allowing his arms to go limp on his lap.
“But you followed me anyway”
“But I followed you anyway”
Wade repeated, looking anywhere else other than at the guy on his couch, his hands started taping the sides of his thighs as a sort of nervous tick in the awkward silence, he was never one to not act on his thoughts and he wouldn’t actually leave his buddy!… not for more than a few minutes at least.
“You swung into a building”
“I know”
Another awkward silence.
“Still doesn’t explain why I’m in your house”
Peter stated and Wade gasped throwing his hands in the air before he dramatically pointed to the side.
“You expected me to just leave you there!”
Deadpool said throwing his hands up in the air again, Spider-Man then did the same.
“YES!”
He exclaimed before dropping his hands.
Peter sighed running his hands over his head, hunching his body forward as his knees came towards his chest naturally to allow his head to rest on them.
He couldn’t deal with Deadpool right now, especially after what he said to him back at Sister Margret’s and you know shoving him into a wall… yeah not his proudest moment.
The couch shifted as more weight was added.
Peter didn’t bother looking up at the man who’s been trying to help him all day without even knowing what happened to him.
Hell the guy didn’t even know what he looked like or much about him at all, yet has still been trying to make sure he is ok in his own Deadpool sort of way.
“M’ Sorry Wade”
The spider mumbled still not bothering to actually look up, rather he just wrapped his arms around himself.
Deadpool hummed.
“For now or for earlier”
Peter could only sigh at the words that came from the merc.
“Earlier mostly… you still sort of followed me and kidnapped me”
That made Deadpool let out a dramatic gasp before laughing.
“I was making sure my buddy was okay that’s way different from kidnapping!”
The merc squawked incredulously and Peter assumed he crossed his arms and turned away pouting like the adult kid he is.
Author’s notes: yeah that’s exactly what he did
“Hey!”
Peter heard Deadpool shout, he looked up at the man who was now currently pointing slightly at the ceiling.
“What do you mean that’s exactly what I did! I don’t even know what you’re confirming but that’s not true”
Wade then crossed his arms and hunched back into the couch as Peter continued to stare at the man with confusion splattered across his face.
“Who are you talkin-“
The spider tried to say only to be cut off by a hand smacking across his mouth, the merc put a finger up to his mouth.
“You didn’t hear anything”
Yeah ok so just usual Deadpoolness.
“Hear what exactly”
Peter managed to mumble out, the other now seemingly smiling big and proud.
“Exactly”
Wade nodded as Peter shoved the hand off of his face, yet felt slightly better at the humour as a small smile couldn’t help but creep up his face.
The two sit in silence for a moment.
It’s wasn’t necessarily awkward this time, but it wasn’t exactly comfortable either, though Peter will take what he can get.
“Sooooooo”
The merc said tapping his legs as he not so subtly glanced over at him once and awhile.
“How are you feeling”
Peter rolled his eyes under his mask as Deadpool slowly leaned sideways towards him and then once again with absolutely no attempt at being subtle turned towards him and looked him over once in an exaggerated head movement.
“Physically or-“
Deadpool waved a hand to interrupt the spider.
“I mean both because clearly my little spider is not quite right in the head if he got knocked out by simply swinging into a building!”
He almost let his mouth drop. Almost.
“Do you even know what swigging into a building feels like-“
This is Deadpool why was he even asking.
“Don’t answer that”
“Won’t!”
…
“So there was this time in Mexico”
