You and me always forever

Ocean was more than excited. She can't believe she's actually going on a date with Penny. She's liked this girl for so long, she couldn't believe it when she was asked out.

---

It was just Ocean and Penny left in the choir room, everyone else had gone either home or to work. Ocean was neatly tidying up some sheet music that was left out as Penny sat down, going over her solo over and over again.

Eventually the room went silent.

"Ocean?" Penny started

"Yeah?"

"I think I like you" Penny admitted.

"Yeah, I like you too! You're a good friend!" Ocean responded, not picking up on what was going on.

"No, Ocean I like like you. I love you. Like so much it's insane! And I get you might not like me back, which is fine by the way! I just wanted you to know. I should probably get going anyway, it was stupid for me to tell you" Penny rambled.

"Wait, don't go" Ocean said, grabbing Penny's arm to stop her leaving.

There was a silence. A long one. Neither of them could decide whether it was comfortable or not. Ocean looked all over Penny's face, not wanting to keep eye contact. Before her eyes landed on her lips. Ocean exchanged a glance between Penny's eyes and her lips, Penny started doing the same thing as they slowly leaned in and met in the middle. The kiss made everything around them disappear, as if it was only them who existed, well, until they heard a cough from behind them and saw father Marcus standing there rather awkwardly.

"Rather nice girls, just not in school next time yeah? Ocean, I need those papers on my desk next rehearsal" He said, trying to ignore what just happened.

"Yes of course Father." Ocean said, before she quickly grabbed Penny's hand and walked outside, laughing at the awkwardness of it.

---

And then a few days later, Penny asked Ocean out to the fair. It was honestly super romantic, Ocean especially couldn't wait for the bumper cars. Her and Penny would definitely have the most fun on those.

The worst part however, would be picking out an outfit. There's this pretty pink dress she owned, however, it still had the tags in the back and there weren't any scissors in the house, so that was a no. There was another pretty dress, but it had this weird rustle material on it that made her itch, and she didn't want to ruin it by constantly complaining about how itchy she was. She decided on this pale yellow dress that was slightly oversized, had no weird fabrics or tags, it was perfect.

Then, just as Ocean was putting the finishing touches on her hair, there was a knock on her window (as per Ocean's instructions, she couldn't have her parents knowing she was going to a a fair, they called it 'capitalist agenda') and Penny was standing there, looking prettier than ever.

Ocean smiled as she opened the window and hopped out, taking Penny's hand and walking the 15 minutes to the fair.

"Right, so, Ocean, I know you're autistic and some things might be a bit much so I just want you to know that you can tell me if everything gets a bit much and we can always leave" Penny offered.

"Thank you Penny, but I promise I'll be fine, what's in the bag?" Ocean asked, noticing the backpack Penny was holding in her hands as she fiddled with the tassles.

"A surprise" Penny smiled. Ocean may not like surprises, but Penny could kill someone and Ocean would defend her. Well, maybe that's a bit extreme, but Penny really could get away with a lot compared to other people.

They arrived at the fair hand in hand,  quickly discussing which rides they will go on first. They quickly decided on something small, the Ferris wheel.

They sat opposite each other. Ocean trying to look at anything other that Penny, she couldn't, the blonde girl just caught her eye too much.

"Penny, can I kiss you?" Ocean asked.

"Of course you can! This is a date afterall!" Penny said, pulling the red head in before pushing their lips together. God she'll never get over this feeling. They quickly let go as they felt the ride begin their ascent again.

They then decided to go on the bumper cars. They had the time of their lives. They bumped into a few too many children and made them cry, making them walk of the ride giggling like idiots whilst holding hands.

As the date went on for longer, Ocean could feel herself getting more and more stressed. People kept running into her, the food had a weird texture, the hot dogs were different than last years. Penny was obviously a good distraction but she could feel herself losing focus, then, her fingers started to twitch, something she did when she got anxious. Then, her eyes started blinking uncontrollably, then she could feel every item of clothing on her body. She tried to smile but Penny is her girlfriend. She can tell when something is wrong.

"Are you ok Ocean?" Penny asked, seeing a frazzled Ocean blinking uncontrollably and twitching her fingers.

"Um, can we go somewhere quieter please?" Ocean asked, clearly getting more stressed by the minute.

Penny grabbed Ocean's hand and led her to an area just behind the fair, slightly sitting against a tree, Ocean just sat still, holding her girlfriend's hand.

"Wanna talk about it?" Penny asked.

"I'm so sorry for ruining the date, everything was just too much and I really just needed to get away from pretty much everything" Ocean said, gesturing in the vague direction of the fair.

"It's fine! Do you want to know what's in the bag?" Penny asked.

"Yes of course!" Ocean said excitedly,

Ocean stared in awe at the pale yellow cardigan Penny pulled out, it was the exact same color as the dress she was already wearing.

"Penn, it's beautiful!" Ocean said, pulling out the cardigan and immediately putting it on and showing it off to Penny"

Penny sat and smiled, blushing at how adorable her girlfriend was being. God she loves this girl.
