Chapter 11
That night loki couldnt sleep. He was the only one awake and finished his work as silent as possible to not piss off the captain. He didnt wanted to let himself get humiliated by sleeping in the kitchen and that was his silent rebellion. He searched for stuff he could do the whole night and ended up not only cleaning the kitchen to its peak but also cleaning the deck as good as he possibly could and even sorted the food and put together an inventory.
In the morning he obviously was very tired. Dark wrinkles were to be seen under his eyes. He didnt know that. He hadnt have a mirror for that.
When the crew finally got up, Loki was fighting his sleepyness.
The crew was confused by the clean deck but started with their tasks imediately.
Loki in that time had lost the fight and fell asleep in a dark corner. No one realised he wasnt on deck. No one but the Captain. He was already ready to scold him for not being up, without even realising he had done all that work. He went to the kitchen but he wasnt there. Anthony frowned. He then searched for him almost everywhere. When he had no clue where he could be asked himself loud "did that idiot drown himself?"
He was about to go up to Pietro, the Helmsman, when he found him. Sitting in the dark corner underneath the stairs where all the cleaning stuff was put. He was about to wake him up, but he saw the dark wrinkles under the beautiful mans eyes. He then looked around and finally realized something. So he picked the prince up in his arms and brought him into his cabin. There he put him down on the bed.
Loki immediately curled up in the blanket. Anthony sighed and caressed the black hair a little before leaving the cabin.
He had decided to let him sleep because of all the work he had done in the silent dark of the night. He deserved to sleep in a warm bed. He would discuss the issue of the evening later with him.
Anthony wasnt a bad person. Even if he showed Loki his hard side when he didnt answer him directly. He was kind, generous and even something like a hero to his crew. Even if he 'kidnapped' most of them, it was always planned. If he heard of someone in a dangerous or undeserved situation, he would head to that part of the world to rescue and help them to a new life, even if as a pirate. In his eyes, pirates were the only really free humans.
The last member of this crew he took with him was Natasha. She had a hard life till that day. That was why she was still very suspicious towards almost everyone. But especially towards the new member, Loki. She didnt trust him a bit. Even if he had sworn to not tell lies to them and also magic made sure of that, she was suspicious he wasnt truthfull.
