Chapter 9
Bruce assembled the crew and sent Wanda to the captain, which was about to bring Loki out of his cabin again.
Loki's feet were still bare and he shuffled them together. He was nervous now. He should swear his loyalty to his captors. Why are these people like that? He was a prince, not a pirate. All of a sudden he felt sick to his stomach.
He got brought up, to where the helmsman, the witchs brother, always stood. The whole crew was assambled on the deck, a little beneath them.
Anthony whispered to Loki "You will repeat everything I say that loud, that everyone here will hear it. I know you got the voice for that."
Loki hesitated for a second and noded understanding.
Was it him that tought wrong about that last sentence of the Captain or did he intend to make this sound kind of... sexuall..?
Loki was trembling slightly in nervousnes. He didnt know what would happen after he swore his loyalty. Afterall they said the witch would do something. That was it, that was frightening him. He was really afraid of magic. All he knew about it was, that it could harm people.
The Captain wasnt aware of the princes inner turmoilt. He started with a speech to his crew.
"My dear crewmembers, I am really proud to tell you, that we have a new member. He is learning really fast and he wants to swear his loyalty already today."
Lokis heart was pounding fast in his chest.
Natasha and that Rogers guy were looking very grim, but the blonde always looked like that.
"now repeat after me." Anthony told loki, so only he could hear him. "I, Loki, swear my loyalty to this crew and my captain." Loki repeated after him with a loud voice. "I am willing to let my ability to lie to them be taken away so I can be trusted." After Loki repeated that, Wanda aproached him. Loki was afraid.
Would it hurt? would he still be in his right mind?
Red smoke came out of her hand and it swirled around Loki before it somehow all streamed into his heart.
Loki forgot how to breathe for a few seconds, his eyes widened. But it didnt hurt. Actually he didnt really feel anything.
As the shock was over, he breathed heavyly and the Captain was smiling. But Wanda had an interested look on her face. She didnt say anything, just looked at him with a smirk.
Later, after Loki got another task, she came to Anthony. "Captain, I think I have some interesting news for you." she smiled. "what would that be?" "I think Loki has magic in his blood." "really? He seemed kinda paniced as you used magic." "what an ironie." she chuckeld. "if you let me, I could teach him how to use it." "Im fine with that. Do whatever as long as he doesnt sinks this ship." "This is so amazing! I never met someone with magic, that I could teach!" she cheered. The captain just laughed at her enthusiasm. "good luck, he is stubborn as hell." "dont worry Captain. I will get him to even have fun learning it."
