Logan! I have a machine gun!
This time the room was empty, and logan felt strong enough to sit up, Still, there were no windows, and the metal bracelets on his wrists were still on.
He felt better physically, the feeling of hunger and weakness in his bones was gone, instead he felt sore from laying in one position for so long.
He ripped the IV and other things out of his arms, trying to move his legs, but they were bolted to the bed, which spiked a bit of adrenaline.
He hated being tied down and restrained, it immediately put him off, He tugged at his leg once more, and when it didn’t move, he started to panic.
The door to the room swung open, and people in white coats rushed in one with a pen and board.
“Please relax, sir, you're completely safe.”
Yeah, tell that to a guy who’s chained to a fucking bed with no real memory of how he got there.
“Will we have to put him under?”
"No, we don’t want to accidentally start the coma again.”
The thought of them using more sedatives made Logan still being put back under would do no help, but if they ever so slightly touched him, he was going to fuck everyone in this room up.
“Mister- Logan, the professor, and Cyclopse would like to apologize for putting you through so much stress, If they had known just being around them was a trigger they would have done many things differently.”
Logan couldn't give a rats ass at whatever they thought it didn’t matter, they weren’t his Scott or his professor.
“Due to your mutation from not eating..your body went into a state like... hibernation”
Logan tried to move his legs more and growled when it didn’t work, If he used a little more force he could definitely break it.
The doctor or whatever the hell these guys are words shot a memory to the front of Logan’s brain.
Hes gone through the hybernation-like state before, it wasn’t fun so he always made sure to just eat enough so it wouldn’t happen.
“It’s been around a month since you entered that state-"
Logan interrupted, “How long has it been since I've been here?”
A month just from that? How long was Logan here before that?
“You’ve been here ..." The guy looked down at his chart "for 3 months in total.”
The world shattered and built itself back up in only a moment, 3 months? 3 months since Logan had seen Wade?
He must have forgotten about Logan, must have moved on with his life, got a new job, and mabye even a new apartment.
That’s what Logan wanted right? all along for Wade to forget him and hate him so Logan could move on? Logan wasn’t right to love.
Logan didn’t deserve to love, he wasn’t right for love, he didn't deserve to fall asleep by someone and whisper softly 'I love you.’
But fuck, it hurt bad.
“From looking at your memory's, the professor has deemed you safe enough physically to be off house arrested-"
The guy paused a moment to fix his glasses.
"-You can control your powers just fine, But your mental state.. he requested you take at least a few months of therapy before leaving.”
Logan had to stop himself form huffing out a laugh "Request or require?...”
“You’re only required to do a month of therapy, and if you check out then..you can leave, but you still have to be in contact with us just in case we need some research, but do not worry, you will not see any of the x-men in person.”
Oh great, so everyone and their fucking mom knew of Logan’s trauma, great, but at least he never had to see any of their faces again.
Two days passed, and they made him sign a contract to make sure he understood that with a month of therapy he could be set free with the requirement of staying in contact.
And in those two days Logan’s head was filled with Wade and what life he must be living right now.
They took off the bracelets on his wrist, allowing him to let out his claws, There would be no point in trying to escape at this point, all he had to do was lie to the dumb therapist, be let go, and disappear off the face of the earth.
Hiding himself would be easy, it wouldn’t be the first time, and Mabye Logan would find out how Wade was, seeing if he was alright from a distance.
More days passed and he got moved to a room that thankfully didn’t smell like the mansion, actually Logan doesn’t think hes At the mansion at all anymore.
The blankets were different, the bed less fancy and he was giving a TV to keep up with the outside world.
His first day with the therapist was what you would expect, boring and a lot of lying
More days walked by until one stood out painfully from the others.
Someone opened his door fast, one of the doctors explaining he had a message from Cyclopse, and it must be pretty serious because the guy sounded out of breath.
“We need you to tell Wade Wilson your fine because he has a whole entire army outside of the X-men mansion.”
Logan just starred blankly at the guy for a hot second with a face expression he didn’t even know
What?
What the fuck is this guy on Wade? At the mansion? Wade is supposed to have moved on with a new job and a new life.
"He requested a... video or something were too far from the mansion to show you physically, but—" The phone rang, and the guy answered it.
“Yeah, okay, yeah, I’m in his room, okay.”
Why were they even entertaining the idea of Wade threating them with an army? Why weren’t they just fighting him really quickly? Was it really that serious that they were complying with Wade’s request of seeing him?
The guy flipped the phone around on FaceTime, and Logan saw his own face for the first time in a while.
His face was pale beard overgrown, hair messy and longer pointing into his iconic cat ears
And then there was a wide-eyed Wade, Deadpool mask rolled up to his nose with those familiar lips.
and Logan was still trying to get his head around the fact that Wade didn't forget him, that Wade was looking for him.
“Logan! I have a machine gun!” And behind him were rows and rows of people.
