Wade is my home

The house was basic, just average; nothing stood out except the secret trap door with a vase.

“Wade are you really going in there?” Logan said, peering down the stairs.

“That’s what she said,” he giggled out, making Logan growl in disappointment and anger for walking right into that joke.

"Well, I’m not the actual dude doing your appointment, so just head down there,” the weirdly tall and chiseled man said with a shrug.

“Then what do you do?” Logan questioned

“Cleaning ass for a livieng,” and then he turned around and left with blind Al, who now had a tight grip on the dude's left ass cheek.

“What?” Logan said, still confused, but Wade took his wrist and started to drag him down the stairs.

“I’ll tell you later, peanut.”

The stairs led to a woman working at a computer and she stood up when she saw them.

“Wade and Logan, right? You booked an appointment at a good time. It's off season, so not many clients.” She’s held a hand out and Wade shook it, but Logan just stared at her like she killed his puppy.

“Today we will find out all about your mutation, no little quirks left behind,” walking away to room number #4.

She opened the room and there was a steel table with machines all around.

That made Logan tighten up his muscles, feeling tense, without realizing Wade went to comfort Logan, placing a small hand on his shoulder blade.

“If you will lay down, your boyfriend can take a seat over there,” she pointed to the plastic seats in the corner.

"Uh,” Logan started not at first realizing what the woman said to caught up in his own head.

Wade came to save the day. “We’re just friends,” he said, feeling his heart tighten weirdly at the statement.

The woman flushed immediately and waved her hands in apology. “I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have asumed it’s just that—never mind, please take a seat.”

Wade took a seat in the corner, and Logan reluctantly laid down.

“I’m going to ask questions after, but first I’m just going to have this machine do a little scan,” she handed Logan some sunglasses. “It’s a little bright.”

She headed to the computer in the room, hit some buttons, and the machine swirled to life with a beeping and humming sound.

And that’s when Logan really started to panic.

Good thing they didn’t strap him down or anything because that would have really set him off.

He wanted Wade

Wade was too far.

The machine started over his feet, moving over his legs; it almost reached his waist before he whispered out a fearful “Wade.”

The scanning process was almost over, and the flashbacks of things he couldn’t even remember were happening.

Biting on his own lip so hard he tasted blood

Something warm was holding his hand and rubbing soothing calming circles into his thumb.

“Logan?” “Logan”

“Oh hi there, you gave me a little scare.” It was Wade's voice, and his hands were cupping Logans hand.

The hum of the machine was gone, and so was the lady.

“Wade?” Logan questioned the haze starting to leave.

"Yeah, that’s me." Wade joked, leaning in closer.

“Thank you, I...” He trailed off feeling so vulnerable and so open, and he couldn’t care less at that moment that for a split second that Wade saw all of him.

saw the weakness and kindness he so desperately wanted to kill from himself.

He never thanked Wade a day in his life untill now.

“Logan-“ Wade started

The door opened, and the woman was back with a notebook.

"Ah, I’m glad your awake. If I knew you had PTSD, I would have tried a different method. I’m deeply sorry.” She got close, and Logan felt the need to sit up now and push Wades hand away.

“I didn’t know myself,” he said with a cough, his body feeling more normal by the second

"Well, I have all the results,” she said with a smile to try and comfort him.

“Great” Logan said simply, He was too tired and wanted to go home.

Go home

Logan wanted to go home with Wade.

"Wade, please step outside by my laws; I am required to tell the patient first,” she said, and Wade gave a nod, “Im right here, peanut,” and walked out of the room.

“So the test results... are animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, a powerful regenerative ability, a skeleton reinforced with the unbreakable adamantium, significantly delayed aging, a prolonged lifespan, and three retractable claws in each hand.”

She said, taking a deep breath after speaking for so long.

Logan already knew all of that.

“If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get adamantium in your bones? It’s not in your genetic material.”

Logan tilted his head. “I don’t remember.”

“Right,” she paused. “Any questions?”

“Yeah..” Logan flushed, “I.. recently..."

“Don’t be shy, there’s a guy that cleans ass for a living upstairs, sooo,” she shrugs.

“I can smell people's lust, happiness and anger... and usually it doesn’t bother me, but recently every time I smell a certain person... I can’t control myself.”

She chewed on her pen, then her eyes lit up. “Remember how I said animal-keen senses? Well..-

-Most animals, example…wolves, fall in love, then they scent each other or whatever after becoming mates and humans are animals and you have heightened senses it would make since that you have ALL of the animal senses not just the super hearing and stuff” She said, and Logan sat there confused.

“Huh?” He was starting to get mad and that was to many words the woman just spewed at him.

"Basically, you're in love,” she said, deciding that was the most simple way to put it.

“In love?”

"Yeah, has this ever happened before?” She said

“It…”

“It has..”

Then everything connected; it wasn’t his mutation that acted up every 20 or 100 years...

Logan was in love with Wade.

"No, that’s not right at all,” he said to the woman standing up from the desk and taking the paper chart of her research of him and shoveing it in his pocket.

Opening the door, Wade was outside, leaning on a cold wall, his face lighting up as soon as he saw Logan.

“So what is it?” Wade questioned

“They fixed my mutation." Logan lied, clenching his fist, still trying to reject the idea the lady told him.

“That’s great!! Honey bear!!” Wade jumped for a hug and Logan narrowly dodged

He would just

Logan would just have to get over it.

There was no way Wade would ever love him like that; there was no way anyone was allowed to again.
