You confuse me, sitting by the sea
I watched it consume you, watched as,
As it grew, you sat and drank your tea

Pulling and pulling, slipping through
Washing through, flesh and bone, skin rising
Coat rising, floating on the top

Skin wearing coat, organ and flesh sink
Hollow and empty you sink, lost
Lost forever, some remembered, more

More forget, many forgot, call
Recall as you fought and sank, so loved
So loved by those who won't forget

Reaching, pulling out, laying, stretching
You stretch and pull, it starts to seep
Your skin pulls, it stretches, starts to seep

Point through stretched fabric, won't go through
it no longer fits, doesn't stretch enough
You are no more, forever lost
