"I just can't understand what made Bucky decide to go back to being frozen."someone in Wakanda complained.
"Come on now Cap we talked about it, didn't we?The man needed a break and he finally is getting it."
"But I am here,Sam!I could help him remember everything!"Steve Rogers said in a what seemed to be desperate tone if you asked the little girl sitting near by.
"Steve please calm down.Bucky has had the ability to make choices for himself taken away from him for centuries.You wouldn't want to refuse him that now, would you Steve?"
Rogers sighted.
"No Natasha you're right.I'm sorry guys.I just miss Bucky so much.He was finally here with me after suck a long time that I just-"
"It's ok Steve,we get it.We truly do."Natasha Romanoff said.
Yet to the little girl these words didn't seem so innocent.She had been warned by thw Winter Soldier not to trust what she says or does.To always stay alert when near her.The Winter Soldier had trained her once and if the little girl was to believe her father's words,then that woman was one of the best at her job.At being an assassin a manipulator and a spy.
"Yeah man don't worry.We understand."
Sam Wilson said and the girl could see the loyalty in that man's eyes for Captain America.Foolish and blind loyalty but still loyalty.
Not that the girl had anything personal against the Captain.After all,if the times were different and luck on their side, Captain America would have been her uncle.But her instincts told her to be wary of the captain,something just didn't sit right with her about him.And if there was one thing her training with the Winter Soldier taught her was to always trust her instincts.
She wasn't rushing anything though. Captain was her dad's best friend and if them getting along meant her Dad would be happy then she would try getting along with the man.Otherwise she would have to deal with the team annoying her until her dad gets out of the ice.She already was wary of them.No need to make them be wary of her in return.
Well now that the Captain's venting finished she might as well leave the room,the girl though as she stood up and headed to the door.
"Where are you going Fay?"Clint asked.
"My room.It's late so I want to sleep." Fay answered the retired Avenger while fighting the urge to tell him that Fay is what only her dad and a few others can call her.But she didn't want to stay anymore in the same room as the witch so she let it slid.If her instincts told her to be wary of the Captain then her instincts told her to run away when seeing the red mist the witch controlled.
"But it's only 6pm?"Wilson questioned in a confused tone.
Not that he received an answer seeing that Fayina chose to ignore him so that she could actually leave the room.
Fay might feel a bit guilty about that considering the man had done nothing to her but right now she had more important things to do.Which obviously didn't consider of her going to her room but instead of visiting her dad.
It has been some days since her dad left her to go to back to ice.To tell the truth she is quite angry at him for leaving her but she could understand why.After all she was the only one who knew the Winter Soldier had another side and wasn't just a killing machine.She was the one with James when he would break down crying,have panic attacks and be paranoid,have nightmares and after decades finally took control of his body only to realise that he practically was an assassin,in the future and had a daughter.She was the one to see how afraid he was of the Winter Soldier.
Yet even with all of this happening he still tried his best to care for Fay and that's why she had grown to care deeply for him.After all he,just like the Winter Soldier is her dad.She still greatly missed the Winter Soldier who for years was her father and mentor but she couldn't really blame James for that.For wanting control of his boby.Atleast not anymore.Not after how angry she had been at James when she realised what was happening.That her dad was disappearing and another man was taking his place.It's not like she actually knows what ended up happening to Winter as he had shown no sings of being in James's mind.Oh how much he missed him.And now she can't even be with James.
'Oh...' Fay thought when she realised 'I reached the lab.'
Looks like she was lost in her thoughts and didn't realise she had walked all the way to the lab.
"Can I enter?"she asked the guards outside Princess Shuri's lab.No need to be hostile at their hosts.And even if she was confident in her skills she knew she wouldn't be able to sneak in one of the most if not the most technological advanced place.
When the guards nodded she went inside. 'Looks like Princess Shuri isn't here' she thought.
In comparison to the Captain who had asked numerous times to be allowed to the lab and had been allowed only a handful of times she was allowed to enter whenever she liked.Well most of the time.There were times when Princess Shuri needed to finish some projects she didn't like people seeing or talking about things guests weren't allowed to hear and she had to leave the lab.
After that had happened for the first time,the fact that Fay had left without questioning what was happening and done what the Princess wished seemed to make Princess Shuri like her.She didn't understand why considering James had told her to be respectful and kind to people but if she were to guess something similar must have haven't to someone else and he hadn't taken it as well as she had.
Oh and another thing that made her welcomed in the lab is not only that she would just be quiet while being there but sometimes would look curious when seeing some of Princess Shuri's creations.The princess would gladly explain to her what it was and help her actually understand.Not to mention that unlike Captain America she is actually related to James.
James...here he was...Infront of her but still so far.How much she wanted to hug him.To make sure he's alive.To be with him.But that can't happen.Not now.Not with him being frozen.It looks like HYDRA's still ruining her life.Seems like both she and her dad will never be completely free of them.
All of the sudden she feels very tired.Back when her dad and she lived together they would cuddle if any of then had nightmares.But now she's all alone and can't sleep.Every time she sleeps she has nightmares and her worry about both her dads(James and Winter are considered different fathers) makes her unable to sleep more than a few hours.
That why she doesn't hesitate to sit at the floor against the machine her dad is in.What she isn't fond of right now isn't the floor but the way she can't keep her eyes open.But she guess it's alright. 'I'll only sleep for a few minutes' .Fayina thinks as she falls asleep.

Fayina slowly blinked awake adjusting to the bright light.She was sure she heard some noise but it stopped before she was able to comprehend where it was coming from.
"Slept good,Fay?"It was Princess Shuri Fayina realised.
"Yes Princess Shuri."Fay answered as she took note of the blanket that was put around her.Princess Shuri must have been the one to put it around her.Or not.Fay hasn't seen the princess training but she doesn't think she can sneak up on her like that.
'Or was I too tired to notice her presence?That...shouldn't be happening.Even if I am sleeping I should be alert' Fay though.
"That's good to hear and sorry to have woken up you.A guard was just telling me that dinner was really."
"It's no problem Princess Shuri. And...uhm...thanks for the blanket"
The princess smirked and Fay is pretty sure that is one of the smirks she has when she pranks King T'Challa.But the smile turns in something more sincere so she thinks she is safe for now.
"It's ok Fayina.After all I wouldn't want my favourite white human in this lab to get ill."
"Oh...thanks?But there was no need.Supersoldiers don't get ill that easily" Fayina said not knowing what to say about the Princess's comment.
Shuri snorted "Are all the enhanced being so stupid?You sound exactly like T'Challa.Whatever!Just wait until you actually get sick."
At that Fayina stayed quiet.
Shuri chuckled deciding not to mess more with Fay "Would you like to join me and T'Challa for dinner Fay? Unfortunately Mother won't be there but that means we get to prank T'Challa as much as we want."
"Would that not bother you?"
"I wouldn't have asked if it bothered us."
"Sure then.I'd like to join you."
