Chapter 2
Rio lays relaxed with Agatha passed out on top of her. The snores are tremendously loud and oddly a real turn on. Just as Rio’s about to set the empty Heineken bottle down on Agatha’s helmet of dark hair like a coaster, Harkness stirs awake and picks her face off Rio’s sternum between her breasts.
“You actually drooled on me. Way to go.”
Agatha squints through the living room light.
“—Is he—?”
“Back yet? No.” Rio tightens the neck of her beer bottle in one jade green painted nail hand.
“Billy hasn’t returned. He decided not to be eaten like Hansel & Gretel after all.”
A wave of worry hits Agatha’s face that makes Rio snicker.
“Aw, you do care.”
“Shut up.” Agatha slides off her in just panties and starts rummaging her hand between cushions to pull her phone out.
“Whew. For a second there I thought you were turning back into sitcom Agnes. The one with the Naughty rhinestone sweatpants always been my favorite.”
“Keep it up and I just might,” Agatha warns, speeddialing Billy’s number she eventually hears his voicemail cheerfully reciting through her ear.
“Wherever you are, I want you back here. Pronto.” She gives him the message before hanging up.
Rio starts gathering locks of Agatha’s thick hair to hold aside of the bare skin of her back and give a few heated kisses alongside one shoulder blade.
