Chapter Nine.
"It wasn’t Logan, Magneto was after Rogue, he took her, and we couldn’t stop her" Mokuba told Charles, Jean, and Logan, Scott nodded "they ambushed us, I blew off the train station roof," Scott explained and Mokuba frowned.
"Hey, that's not your fault” Mokuba defended rubbing his arm, “Toad stole your visor, that's not on you" Mokuba backed up. "I'll handle that, but for now we have bigger things to worry about," Charles said before Logan glared, "you said he wanted me." He angrily yelled.
"I made a terrible mistake."
"Hey back off Logan, this stupid blame game isn’t going to help Rogue we need to find her and figure out what he's planning," Mokuba argued coldly, "screw all of you," Logan spat before he stormed off and Mokuba went after him.
He caught up with him at the front door "you know Magneto will kill you if you go alone, if you got any common sense in that thick skull of yours, you'd stay and help us," Mokuba told him, “What? And fight with you? Join the team? Be an X-Man?" Logan asked mockingly before he turned to Mokuba and stepped closer to him.
"Who the hell do you think you are? You're a mutant," Logan coldly snapped at Mokuba, “the world out there is full of people that hate and fear you, and you're wasting your time trying to protect them," Logan said scoffing.
"You know Magneto's right, there is a war coming, you sure you're on the right side?"
Mokuba sighed "I do because people like Magneto are the reason why the world fears us," Mokuba argued, Logan rolled his eyes before he opened the door before a man stumbled in through the door.
"Senator Kelly?"
In front of the, dripping water and looking like a jellyfish, was Senator Robert Edward Kelly and a big advocate for the Mutant Registration Act.
"I'm looking for Dr. Jean Grey."
He then collapsed causing Mokuba to grab him, I never thought I'd be helping the same man who wants to lock up my kind Mokuba thought before placing a hand on his comm.
Mokuba: Jean, I'm going to need you to prep the ICU wing I've got Senator Kelly here asking for you.
Jean: Did you say Senator Kelly? What does he want from me?
Mokuba: I think he's looking for help, and he looks like a jellyfish…it's like a…he looks like a mutant.
Jean: What?! Bring him to me quickly.
Mokuba: Will do.
