Chapter eight.
Mokuba's warning came too late, right before Toad's long, slimy tongue came shooting down, swiping off the visor.
Instinctively, Mokuba put up a purple force field around him and Rogue before Scott shot an uncontrollable beam of heatless concussive force through the roof.
It blew up with a loud bang, sending glass dropping and scattering across the floor before Mokuba dropped the shield and picked up a shard of glass, "what are you doing?" Rogue asked confused.
"Triggering my healing factor so I can heal myself"
Mokuba proceeded to cut his hand wincing as it stung but it quickly healed, and so did his side before Mokuba stood up.
He quickly shot a ball of compressed electrified air at Sabertooth.
It hit Sabertooth and freed Storm, Storm quickly sent Sabertooth flying through a wall.
As Toad hurried after Sabertooth, Mokuba rushed to Scott's side.
"Scott! Scott shut your eyes!" Mokuba yelled as more stuff began to fall around them Scott struggled to close them but as he did so Mokuba crashed to his knees in front of him, Mokuba gently cupped his face easing Scott's vulnerability and panic the second Mokuba touched him.
"Mokie?"
"Are you okay?"
Scott nodded before Mokuba pulled out Scott’s sunglasses from his pocket and slipped them onto his face for him who smillied thankfully at him, "thanks Mokie," Scott said gratefully before Mokuba helped him up.
"No problem, but Scott, you..."
Suddenly a loud scream caught their attention causing them to turn to the source.
Scott and Mokuba watched in horror as Magneto knocked Rogue out and took into the sky with her.
"No! No!"
The sound of sirens made them freeze.
"Mokuba! Scott! We gotta go!" Storm yelled running over, Scott nodded "Storm's right, we can’t help Rogue if we get arrested, get us out of here Mokuba," Scott told him who nodded.
"On it.”
Mokuba quickly got them out of there and back to the mansion, Charles looked worried at the state of the three of them and so did Logan and Jean.
"What happened?"
