Chapter seven.
Rogue jumped as Mokuba plopped down next to her "Mokuba," Rogue said surprised, "Hey Rogue, I'm sorry about last night," Mokuba told her feeling bad and Rogue nodded looking guiltily at him.
"Me too."
"You running again?”
Rogue frowned at that before she nodded "I heard the professor was mad at me," she told Mokuba, Mokuba pulled his face at that "who told you that?" Mokuba asked frowning.
"A boy at school."
"Well, I promise you that’s not true nobodies angry at you look we are all dangerous Rogue if we weren’t, they wouldn’t be pushing a mutant registration on us Charles expects us to lose control that’s why he opened the school” Mokuba explained, "you know my first week there, I badly injured another student 'cause I lost control, put him in the infirmary for two weeks” Mokuba told her who looked surprised.
"What happened?"
"Oh, I ended up marrying him”
Rogue chuckled at that till she looked thoughtful “you think I should go back?" she asked, Mokuba nodded "I can’t tell you what to do but I think you should follow your instincts, I believe you should always trust them" Mokuba told her.
Rogue sighed at that before knitting her hands together "the first boy I ever kissed ended up in a coma for three weeks, I can still feel him inside my head, and it's the same with you," Rogue told him, “What do you mean by that?” Mokuba asked confused and Rogue chuckled bitterly.
“When you touched me, I felt everything you’ve ever felt all your pain, all your self-hatred I feel everything you’ve ever felt” Rogue told him and Mokuba frowned, “well one I’m sorry for that I didn’t know that when I touched you but even if I did, I would’ve done it anyway because I wouldn’t let a kid die” Mokuba told her feeling bad.
“And two?” Rogue asked and Mokuba chuckled, “and two if you felt what I felt then you know I know exactly how you feel," Mokuba told her “I also know the school can help you so stuff like last night doesn’t ever happen again, that I promise you".
Rogue lay her head down on Mokuba’s chest breaking down in tears, "hey, hey, it's okay," Mokuba soothed rubbing her back “I’ve got you; I’ve got you”.
Suddenly, the train cart began shaking, making Mokuba and Rogue jerk up.
"What's going on?"
Metal items began to rise causing Mokuba to look worried "damn, damn, we gotta go," Mokuba said before the door blew open, Mokuba tightened his grip on Rogue before Magneto appeared in front of Mokuba.
"You must be one of Charles's pets, Mokuba, isn't it? Codenamed Whirlwind."
Mokuba raised his hand summoning a ball of compressed electrified air "that I am you must be Magneto, what do you want?" Mokuba coldly asked, “hand over the girl," Magneto told Mokuba whose eyes widened in horror before he protectively pushed Rogue in front of her.
"Over my dead body you deranged lunatic!”
"That can be arranged."
Magneto shot a million iron spikes at Mokuba who quickly disappeared with Rogue but as Mokuba teleported Rogue and himself back on the platform Mokuba's legs went on him, "Mokuba," Rogue yelled dropping down next to him before they saw he'd been injured.
"Damn, I must’ve been weaker than I thought."
Mokuba groaned at that sitting up more "who is that guy? What does he want?" Rogue asked confused before Mokuba gave her a serious look, "listen to me you need to find Scott or Storm quickly," Mokuba told her before a scream lured Mokuba's attention.
His eyes widened when he saw Sabertooth attacking Storm and Scott prepping to fire a beam of heatless concussive force at Sabertooth to save Storm, that's when Mokuba spotted another one of the Magneto’s followers hanging above Scott ready to strike; his name was Toad.
"Scott, look out!"
