Chapter six.
Mokuba sat up panicked "It's all my fault, she took off because of me she must think I blame her for what happened," Mokuba told them regret all over his face, Scott squeezed his shoulder to reassurance him "hey, it's not on you we'll find her," Scott assured and Charles nodded.
"Scott's right, we'll use Cerebro."
Logan looked confused but followed with everyone else to Cerebro, they stopped at a large door before Charles's eye was scanned.
"Welcome, Professor."
"Welcome to Cerebro," Charles told Logan as they entered, “this certainly is a big round room," Logan commented.
"They are the brainwaves of mutants; they are different to humans this device amplifies my power, allowing me to locate mutants across great distances," Charles explained, "that's how I intend to find Rogue," Charles informed.
"Why don't you just use it to find Magneto?"
"He's able to shield himself from me"
After a few minutes of concentration Charles turned to Logan and his X-Men.
"She's at the train station, a few miles west of here," Charles explained, "that's close enough for me to teleport too I'll get us there; it'll be quicker," Mokuba told them before Charles looked unconcerned.
"Mokuba, you need time to recover you’re still weak"
Mokuba gave his professor a pleading look "I feel fine Professor, I'm the reason she took off in the first place which means I’m the only one whose gonna be able to convince her to come back" Mokuba told Charles simply, "she’s a scared teenager with dangerous powers we all know what could happen to her especially with the mutant registration hanging over our heads trying to lock us all" Mokuba told Charles who sighed.
"Don't take unnecessary risks Mokuba"
"I Promise," Mokuba agreed before offering Storm and Scott his hands, they took his hand, and in a blink, they were gone.
As they appeared at the train station they were unnoticed by the busy people going for trains, Scott slipped on the visor in place off his sunglasses before Storm looked thoughtful.
"We should split up. If you find her, contact the rest of us," Storm told Scott and Mokuba, Mokuba and Scott nodded in agreement to her words.
"Got it."
"Will do."
As they split up Mokuba headed one way, Scott the other and Storm headed to the ticket man, while he walked Mokuba thought back to his early years surviving on the streets and thought of all the places in a train station that street kids could use to sleep or warm up.
His eyes found the trains and hurried to it.
As he got on Mokuba carefully looked around before he spotted her, he sighed in relief before placing a hand on his comm in his ear.
Mokuba: Hey, got her she's in a train cart on platform five.
Storm: Understood, on the way.
Scott: That was quick, babe. How'd you find her so quickly?
Mokuba: I spent years on the street I know where runaways go.
"Hey kid."
