Dear Johnny,
Summers finally showed up in class after months. He read out your name and everyone went silent.
For homework, or class work on a technicality, we had to write a letter to someone. Someone we loved missed.
So I chose you.
It’s so strange and empty without you. My letters are my only way of coping without you. The room just feels so empty without you, you know?
I hope you understand. Remember when you had your nightmares, and I had to hold you until you fell asleep?
You probably don’t, or at least I hope you don’t. You were scream sobbing, having one of your nightmares again. I went to wake you up, and your were boiling. You skin was soaked in sweat and I wasn’t sure what to do.
My cold touch helped you. I could tell. And so for the rest nights, around a couple of months, I would wait until you fell asleep. So I could hold you.
Even when you didn’t have nightmares, I held you. It stopped my own.
I miss holding you.

it’s rogue. I miss you, but it hitting Bobby the hardest. He barely leaves his room and when he does he’s just so sad all the time. I broke up with him because I saw something in him, when I held his shoulder on the jet as you were leaving. But thats not my secret to tell. It’s his. When he’s ready.
But a push will hopefully work. After he wrote this, he sown the entire weekend in his room. When we go in there, he’s just sitting there, staring at space. When he notices we’re in there he pretends to busy himself.
Anyways, you’re an asshole, but we all love you John. It’s not the same without you. Come home, okay? If not for us for Callum. For Bobby.
