Chapter 4
Morph and Wolverine had started dating recently, not long after Morph returned, this had been the first night they shared a bed, even with his eyes closed Logan's enhanced senses could feel Morph's soft breathing but when he opened his eyes he didn't see what he expected, a light gray figure with no hair or nose sleeping relaxed, he recognized the smell perfectly so he didn't have a hard time about who the figure was, but he had other doubts, could Morph transform while sleeping? Why did they look like that? He ran his fingers over their face gently
"Good morning.." Morph greeted him in a sleepy voice as they opened their completely white eyes, Logan looked at them for a few seconds before speaking
"You're white.." Logan spoke softly, Morph laughed at that comment
"Yes and you too" they said smiling at him
"No, I mean you're literally white"
"What?" With that comment Morph woke up completely, they sat up looking at his hands
“Oh” he transformed into his human appearance
“I'm sorry that happens sometimes..”
“Since when?” Logan also sat on the bed, he worried about being as close to Morph as possible
“It happened to me when I was little when I still didn't know how to control my powers… but it hasn't happened to me since then, it came back after the whole Sinister thing” Morph brought their knees closer to their chest and avoided Wolverine's gaze ”I think Sinister unlocked something in me, it usually happens when I'm sleeping”
“If it happens to you when you're resting… do you get tired in this form?”
Morph shrugged
“Does anyone else know about this? The professor? Hank?”
“..Moira knows, but besides her I haven't told anyone”
“And why haven't you told the others? Why didn't you tell me before?”
“Logan I don’t want to talk about how I look like a mannequin” Morph was starting to get irritated
“You didn’t look like a mannequin… I think… you looked good”
“Good like not so bad? Or good like attractive?” Morph smiled a little
Logan put his hand on Morph’s cheek and gave them a soft kiss on the lips “like really pretty”
Morph blushed, and hid their face in Logan’s neck “so it doesn’t bother you?”
“It intrigues me a little but it doesn’t bother me”
“Could you not tell the others?”
“It’s your secret you decide when to tell it, I can only be by your side to support you when you decide to be”
Morph separated himself, smiled but gave him a kiss on the corner of his lips and then got up from the bed
“Come on, I’m hungry”
