Part 2

Brunnhilde is going to kill Thor! She is a warrior, not a diplomat. She can't replace lackey, no, Loki, Loki! She so wants to just go back to the trash planet and drown herself in mindless alcoholic emotionless life. Loki had gained all the respect as soon as they had left Sakaar. She had thought of him as a lackey, powerless sycophant to Grandmaster. It took some time of observation to realise that he only acted as one in Sakaar as the place was unknown to him, and that he had arrived in a similar fashion to Thor but had avoided The Chair by just his diplomatic skills. He was a crazy diplomat, warrior and one of the greatest seidrmadr ever, if the tales are anything to go by.

She regrets not being friendly to him. Perhaps, she could have told him that in her experience, an alive seidr warrior is better than rule abiding warrior! How could the idiot even possibly think to kill the Mad Titan with just a throwing knife? If what Sif tells, maybe, years of teasing had caught onto him. Maybe he just wanted an honourable death, because these idiotic warriors had thought that seidr was dishonourable. To think of it, he did seem a bit suicidal, there was always a shadow of sorrow just beneath his face. She could not use seidr the way he had used on her, but she could definitely sense some tragedy in him.

After Thanos had been killed for the better, while going through all the data from shield had provided Thor for preparation of time based plan, The Avengers, including Thor and Valkyrie had realised one drastic detail which had threatened to put Thor into another bout of suicidal depression. During the New York attack, Loki was probably under Thanos’s influence and that it was firmly placed with Mind Stone in the Scepter. There were signs of torture on Loki's body were visible with him hunching over during escape. Clint had horrifyingly realised that Loki had been trying to fight the influence which had also caused him pain, but he had still managed to give contradicting orders, for example placing an Abort Switch in the portal mechanism. And Natasha had also pointed out that the influence was finally removed when the Hulk had beaten him on the floor.

Thor was inconsolable, as soon as he realised that Loki was maybe not as guilty and terrible a person as they had initially thought. That, that he would still be alive had he protested their father. Hell, even his mother would have been alive, as Loki would have never left their mother unprotected were he free! No wonder, Loki had been so angry after her death. Maybe even he blamed himself! Loki please find peace in Valhalla. Thor did get Loki's statue built and even made all the amendments to the plays that the Asgardian bards were making. Loki will not be remembered as a villain, but a hero that he was!

Thor cannot help but wait to be in Valhalla, just so he can meet Loki again, give him a tight hug he protests against and then perhaps punch him. How dare he hide the fact that he was under the influence of Mind Stone and that he had been tortured. How dare he promise of the sun shining again on them both minutes before dying? How dare he preach of being sensible, using tactics and tricks in war and then die with a brash last minute decision of killing Thanos with a throwing knife?

It had taken hours of consoling Thor from Valkyrie and Sif, so as to prevent him from going to Valhalla to demand answers from Loki. One of the Guardian of the Galaxy members had mentioned to Valkyrie that Thanos wanted everything equal and that had Loki not died, the Mad Titan would have killed Thor. Perhaps Loki knew this and thus sacrificed himself before any harm came to Thor. She understands what it means to lose everyone you love. Loki had met Thanos before and knew what was to come. It seems a muchore plausible reason behind the final act. If only she could pick his mind now. Yep, she needs a beverage, a strong one, if she doesn't want to join Thor's side of going to Valhalla for answers from Loki and that bastard of a king Odin!
