Part 3
For the first time, Astrid Heimdallson feels a sudden green light that wakes him from his slumber. A magnificent realm, golden halls, picturesque landscapes becomes visible in space, where Thor had told him lies the remains of destroyed Asgard. Amidst the realm, in the golden halls of the throne room, is a man with golden horned helmet, whose black ebony curled hair reach his waist, wearing a green, gold and black old Asgardian leather dress. It doesn't take long for Astrid to realise, that this must be the King Thor's brother Loki who had been described in various stories, bards and statues. Suddenly, the man waivers as the blood begins to flow from the man's nose and ears, the green godly eyes flutter close as Classic Loki finally falls to slumber amidst the great golden hall he had rebuilt!
So while everyone sleeps, Astrid runs to the King Thor's flat. Brunnhilde and Sif who had been returning from their own training session saw Astrid running towards Thor's place in hurry and knew immediately something must be amiss. They immediately began to rush towards the King's quarters while sending a sign to a nearby guard to get everyone alert.
Thor had been trying to get Love to sleep. It was a hell of a task he had finally succeeded in, not without burning the new curtains. He'll have to get rid of the ashes now. Just as he turned to get out of Love's room, he heard a knock and couldn't help but curse as his hour-long efforts of making Love sleep just got wasted.
“Thor, who must it be now?” Love politely asked, as if she had not just been sleeping.
The urgent knocking continued, so Thor shrugged and signalled her to come along as he approached the entrance to their humble home.
“Who is it?”
“Your highness, Thor, I, I think, I think I just saw your brother Loki rebuild Asgard.”

“No” “What!?” “I knew it, that vermin is alive!” Thor, Brunnhilde and Sif replied at the same time.
“Astrid, what did you say Loki did?” Love asked.
“He has rebuilt Asgard, he's bleeding from his nose and ears and has probably fainted in the throne room.”
“We'll go there, right away!” Thor announced.
“No”, “ No Thor” came two synchronized replies from Sif and Valkyrie.
They quickly agreed upon first investigating the place with Astrid's seidr. Astrid sent an astral form of Thor, Sif and Valkyrie to Asgard. Although Love protested about being left out, it was too dangerous to bring her astral form to this place as of now.
Tears welled up in Thor and Sif’s eyes as they saw the realm of their childhood, once again standing tall. Even the Bifrost seemed to be in place! While Valkyrie inspected for foul play, Thor couldn't help but run all the way to the castle and the golden halls. As soon as the other two caught up, the three of them carefully entered the throne room, as beautiful and majestic as it always had been, except for the eerie silence from the complete absence of life. It is then that Thor realised that there were some creatures and animals of Asgard that were already there in the city and gardens when he had rushed past them. If this is true, how did those manage to come back?
The throne room was also quiet, except for the shallow but consistent breathing coming from one person lying peacefully on the stairs to the throne, blood streaks visible from nose and ears on the otherwise pale, unblemished face. Loki! Loki in his Asgardian armor and dress, not the Saakarian one! He has probably exhausted himself. If Thor could touch him, he would have lifted him off the floor and given him a bear hug, Loki so much resists. Valkyrie couldn't believe her eyes, so she tried hitting Loki and obviously her leg just passed through him. Sif was just struck and immediately placed herself next to Thor, in case he falls down crying, he already looks like he could weep and bring Thunderstorm to all the realms.
If only Thor knew how to make portals to travel through one realm to another like Loki. How does he reach him now???

Far off on his lonely throne, a tear fell from the eyes of Loki, The God of Stories as he saw Thor, Love, Sif and Valkyrie approach Doctor Strange and reach Asgard and though, by the time they reached, Loki had started gaining consciousness. What followed was one of the most emotional scenes Loki had ever seen. The Reunion of two brothers from another mother. Although, Loki, no matter what he would otherwise claim, knew deep down that only Frigga would ever have the claim to be called Loki's mother. At least in this universe. The feelings may change for other variants of Loki.
