Part 1
After hours of sifting through timelines to follow, a timeline finally worthy of his interest is found by Loki. The timeline of Classic Loki. The Loki who knows the worth of their magical talent, and possesses such magical prowess that he managed to fool the Mad Titan, the world where The Avengers had lost, toyed with time, and finally defeated Thanos. A world where Thor had found Love just as in the sacred timeline. But Loki of this timeline was alive, with not one soul aware of his existence!
Classical Loki knew that if he were to go back to Thor, he would not be welcomed with just a hug, but rather with denial and anger. No, he needs to be worthy of a hearty welcome. Thus he went on to achieve that which no other Lokis in any other timelines managed to do. Rebuild the entire realm of Asgard, just with seidr, patience and resilience!
Thor was attempting to teach Love some other forms of seidr with whatever books that were left from Asgard’s collapsed libraries. Oh, he so wishes his brother was alive! Not an hour passes in the New Asgard, where he does not remember his brother, be it for his Silver Tongue, diplomacy, tricks, seidr or just basic companionship. Sleep is still wrought with nightmares of losing his brother over and over again with a mix of Jane, mother and father and all other Asgardians.
Asgardians have barely overcome their grief, but lack of seidrcrafts and mages have affected the healthcare severely. This, in turn, is reflected by the general weakness and susceptibility to diseases. The midgardian world is full of polluted air and there is no way they can build their city without adding more pollution to it. For all their advancements, Asgardians had relied on mage and seidrmadr to control the pollution and environment. The local governing bodies are beginning to send more and more policies and demands, that which he cannot pay without implying taxes on his dying population. So he is not! But he also has no clue how to deal with these politicians. It has taken Brunnhilde, Heimdallson, Lady Sif and her bunch of trained warriors to stop him from murdering these politicians.
Who would have thought, Lady Sif, who had sworn to kill Loki on first sight, if he still happens to be alive, for she still cannot believe that he would act so foolishly, that he would attempt to kill Thanos with a knife when he so proudly depended on his wit, if he is still alive somewhere, she will tie him down next to the throne if for nothing, just for his wit and seidr. While training the young warriors, she couldn't help but remember Loki and his taunts, tactics and trickery and how greatly Loki's seidr had helped them in their quests. She had started learning whatever seidr she could and that which was available, which she had sworn she would never! The last solstice, which was decided as the day to mourn all the lost, she had promised Loki's soul that she would never, ever discourage any use of seidr in training or chastise and seidr or wit based tactic as cheating or trickery. Never again, not after seeing such horrifying wars.
Oh how far sighted Loki was in training them against tricks and how stupid they had been to never bother to learn them. The midgardian seidr users are weak and do not possess the finesse of crafting life-like scenarios that would trick the training warriors. The midgardian wizard was too egoistic and were he not helpful and Thor's friend, she would have sliced him to pieces with her sword. The midgardian seidr users weren't very helpful in her endeavor to teach, so if Loki is really dead, she wants him to reincarnate urgently, doesn't matter if comes back as a cow or a snake (as the Asgardians don't seem to be procreating in the midgardian environment), as long as he can shapeshift and has his intellect. And if he's not dead she might kill, no, attack, nay, she might actually hug him and then scream at him to get his ass back to the training grounds. She might want to rephrase the last part, because knowing Loki, he might literally just send an illusion of his arse to the training ground.
