Peter turned around And wished his goodbyes as he started walking in the direction the men pointed to in hopes of finding the homeless shelter...
As he was walking he noticed a building with lights on in a big sign that said shelter. “ well that makes things easier” Walking into the building he Noticed a Blonde woman at the front desk as she was on her computer. “Hello?” Peter said trying to get her attention but not being rude about it. “ this is the homeless shelter right wait no that's a stupid question I've seen the sign outside sorry.. I am Peter Parker nice to meet you..” He said nervously as he went up to the front desk which was taller than him as he had to stand on his tippy toes to see over the counter, he didn't remember being that short maybe the counter was just tall. The blonde woman looked over to Peter with a bright smile “Hello! Yes, you did make it to the shelter. My name is Stephanie Brown. What can I help you with kiddo?” Kiddo... Again what's with everyone calling me that I'm 17?
" well yes, I was hoping to say the night... I don't have money right now but I promise I will pay you back. when I get some" Stephanie Shook her head “No you don't have to pay back the point of having the shelter is to get good people off the street and a better life. And let me see.” She looked to her computer and typed a bit “Actually we do have a room free right now if you want it all you would need to do is Answer some questions on this paper just so we know more about you.” as she slid over a paper to me as I looked down to it there was some weird questions but the basics like age, how you ended up on the streets, and one way to improve yourself.
the questions are pretty easy I finished the paper and gave it back to her as she looked over it “17? You sure?” the question caught him off guard a bit as it was a little stupid in his opinion “I'm I sure of my age? yes” what… did what Ever brought me here messing with my appearance too wait what about my spider DNA? “Um actually can I use the bathroom real quick” as she's slightly nodded and pointed to the restrooms but she was still looking at the paper. I quickly ran to the restroom trying not to make it seem suspicious.
looking into the mirror I did not see 17-year-old me but 14-year-old me!? As I backed up from the mirror I hit the wall catching my balance as I tried to move away I realized my spider webs were coming out of my wrist… there was a small hole in both of my wrists it was exactly my web shooters. “Calm down calm down calm down” was what I kept telling myself “Calm down I can't go out there like a mass miss Stephanie will Suspect me of doing something bad pull yourself together Peter” Peter tried to calm himself before he walked out of the bathroom back to the counter where Stephanie was sitting patiently waiting for peter to come out of the bathroom. " welcome back well if you would follow me I will show you to your room for the night." without any questions peter followed behind Stephanie to his room as the room was very clean I had a bed and a desk.
"Please make yourself at home Peter breakfast will be at 7:00" She left soon after showing the room and went back to the front office as Peter went into the room and lay on the bed trying to unpack everything that had happened that night. “I need to make a plan I can't just say here all the time and now that I'm in this body I most likely won't be able to work.. shit”
The Next morning came around as Peter woke up around 6:00 and he Didn't want to stay in his room complaining about what had been happening as he and went out of his room to go see if Stephanie would need any help she did give him a safe place to sleep it's the least he could do.
Peter made it to the front desk and he noticed Stephanie was there but she was talking to two men. They were both I'm very tall they both had black hair but one had a white streak in the front. Before Peter even said anything Stephanie called out to him waving him to come over “Hey Peter good morning how did you sleep?” As I walked over to her a little nervous “I slept well thank you again” and so I was avoiding eye contact with the men. “ oh let me introduce you to Jason and dick we are kind of family” Stephanie said with her goofy smile
“Oh.. hello my name is Peter Parker nice to meet you two”
