Driving through the street in her SUV, Whitney Chang tries to avoid any hits from nearby traffic, while Mary Jane, Stan, Michelle, and Monkey King sit tight from it

Stan Carter: Whoa!

Michelle Gonzales: You almost passed a red light back there

Whitney Chang: You're cops right? You can make this an excuse!

Stan Carter: I don't think that works!

Monkey King: So what do we do now?

Michelle Gonzales: We could go to NYPD Headquarters. Let them know about the mole inside

The group were surprised to hear that the violence has occurred in Midtown, with Mary Jane figuring out where this might happen

Outside Midtown Magnet High School

Punisher arrived in bike with Moon Knight with Wraith jumping down from one of the buildings as the three see the destruction of the area including the death of the surrounding police officers

Wraith: No

Moon Knight: We're too late

Punisher: Not if I have anything to do about it

Diamondback: I'd like to see you try!

Wraith: Look out!

Coming out of nowhere is Diamondback opening fire with her gun as Wraith intervened and saved him while going into cover

Diamondback: You got lucky

Punisher: Thanks for the save

Wraith: Don't thank me just yet. We'll need to deal with her first

Moon Knight: I'll grab her attention while you can make the finishing- ( SKIT ) Agh!

Wraith: Moon Knight!

Moon Knight was suddenly hit by a throwing knife on his hand as Bullseye was seen with his other throwing weapons

Bullseye: Hahah! Thought you would be the guy that does all the throwing!?

Punisher: I DO SHOOTING BEST!

Diamondback: ME FIRST!

Diamondback opened fire on the three Defenders, as they move into cover as Punisher took out his SMG and open fire. Until a cop car appeared with George Stacy, Ronin, and Black Cat inside, and Venom on top

Black Cat: Looks like your guys are in trouble

George Stacy: This is nothing compared to what we do next!

Ronin: Venom!?

Venom: We'll handle this!

Venom jumped from the cop car and web-zipped himself towards Diamondback as he tries to land a blow on her, but evaded until Bullseye threw his exploding throwing darts. Causing some damage to him

( KABLAM )

Venom: AGH!

Bullseye: Hah! Does that hur- ( WHAM ) Ugh!

Venom: YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!

( WHAM )

Bullseye: Oof!

Venom whiplash Bullseye midair as he crash landed on a nearby car. Black Cat and Ronin then proceed into attacking directly at Diamondback, who opened fire with her gun. Grabbing her as Ronin took Black Cat into cover with George Stacy took out his gun and helped out. Shooting at Diamondback

Diamondback: Whoa!

George Stacy: Hang on you two

Ronin: You alright!?

Black Cat: Yeah. Thanks to you!

Mister X: Highly doubt that!

George Stacy: Wha- ( POW )

Ronin: CAPTAIN!

Mister X suddenly appeared as he knocked down George Stacy and swings his sword at him, but Ronin took out his and blocked it. The two faced each other with Ronin appeared angry

Mister X: Hello again Ronin. Or is it Parker?

Ronin: You! Why! WHY GO AFTER THEM!?

Mister X: Isn't it obvious!? I knew you'd be here. Just like you would when your own school is attacked!

Black Cat: You know this!?

Mister X: I do!

Ronin: CAT NO!

( BAM )

Black Cat tries to land a blow, but Mister X quickly evade and kicked her. Which made Ronin angry as he and Mister X fight with their sword, but their skills have proven to be evenly matched to even land a single blow

Mister X: Not bad, Parker. Sure you're not tired!?

Ronin: I haven't broke a sweat!

Black Cat quickly tries to get up as Diamondback appeared with a gun and pointed at her. While George also got up and saw what happened

Black Cat: Huh!?

Diamondback: Time to skin a cat!

George Stacy: LOOK OUT!

( BLAM ) ( BLAM ) ( BLAM )

George manages to save Black Cat on time before the shots were hit as they head to cover

George Stacy: You alright?

Black Cat: I'm okay. Thanks for the save

Diamondback: Captain Stacy! It's been a while since I last saw you!

George Stacy: Not long isn't it, Dewolff!

Diamondback became surprised to learn that George Stacy now knows her real identity, but figured knowing the people he's with

Diamondback: So it looks like your new friends helped you out huh!?

George Stacy: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH GWEN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY DAUGHTER!?

Diamondback: Well surely if you found out you'll be very disappointed!

Wraith: Not as I would with you!

Venom: What she said!

Wraith and Venom appeared and confronted Diamondback. As Wraith use her tentacle lash to evade and misled Diamondback's gunshots with Venom attempting to strike at her. While this is going on George sees Ronin fighting Mister X as he turns to Punisher who is still fighting against Bullseye with Moon Knight

George Stacy: Punisher!

Punisher: Stacy!?

George Stacy: Throw a smoke there now!

Punisher sees Ronin fighting Mister X and understood. Ronin however fought desperately as Mister X played into it while reading his mind

Mister X: You're getting desperate, Parker. Afraid of what might be happening to your friends in there!?

Ronin: Damn you!

Mister X: I'm reading your mind and I can't help but feel impressed. Infiltrate the Manfredi family just to bring them down!

Ronin: Get out of my head!

Mister X: And there's a girl you like. A very pretty one too. Kate her name is it?

Ronin: DON'T YOU DARE GO NEAR HER!

( POW )

Mister X: OOF!

Ronin: HAH!

In a fit of rage Ronin punched Mister X in the face and kicked him hard that he flew back. Then proceeds to strike as the two fight hard, with Mister X feeling his strength as he pushes him back while commenting on his feeling

Mister X: Hah. Looks like I struck a nerve. Still I'm impressed though

Ronin: That changes nothing. You're still going down

Mister X: Not until you go first. You and… Foswell? Frederick Foswell?

Ronin: What?

Suddenly Punisher threw a canister of smoke near the two. Taking Mister X by surprise

Mister X: What the hell!?

George Stacy: GET BACK YOU!

Using the smoke cover George Stacy opened fire with his gun to push Mister X back, who is heading to cover, and turns to Ronin

George Stacy: RONIN! GO! GET TO THE SCHOOL NOW! YOU HAVE TO SAVE AS MANY AS YOU CAN!

Ronin: Alright! Just don't do anything reckless!

George Stacy: No guarantees!

With this chance, Ronin quickly rushes to the school gates and head towards the entrance

Midtown Magnet High School: Hallway

Entering the school building Ronin is shocked to see bodies of dead students and teachers on the floor, with his principle lying on the floor as the blood poured out of his body. The stench of blood still fills the air as he has trouble breathing it

Ronin: Oh god. No… No…

Holding his sword tight Ronin ran through the hallway to find the cause of it until a gunshot was heard

( BLAM )

Ronin: Huh!? No. Oh no don't

Ronin quickly ran to were the gunshot was heard, and as he arrived he sees Liz falling. Leaving him completely stunned, along with Oni Maiden and Molten Man who also witness this as he grabbed her before she fell after taking a bullet for him. Upset and shocked by what has happened as his hand is covered with her sister's blood. Along with Menace appeared stunned by what she did as she still held her gatling arm gun

Ronin: … Liz?

Menace:… No…

Oni Maiden: L-Liz!?

Molten Man: NOOOOOOOOO!

Liz Allan: Ghhh… Ack

Molten Man: NononononoNOOOO! WHY LIZ! WHY!?

Liz Allan: M-Mark…

Molten Man: Lizzy… Liz…

Watching her own sister bleeding out and in tears as she tries to speak Molten Man is now filled with anger as he turned his attention to Menace who is still left stunned by what has just happened

Molten Man:… You…

Menace: She… She was in the way-

Molten Man: I'LL KILL YOU!

Molten Man angrily attacks Menace as his body fully covered in flames. Tackling her and slamming Menace up to the wall

( SLAM )

Menace: AGH!

Molten Man: YOU'RE DEAD BITCH!

Molten Man angrily delivers a punch, but Menace grabbed it and threw him into one of the classroom filled with scared students

( CRASH )

Molten Man: Ah

Frightened Student 1: Oh god!

Frightened Student 2: Please don't kill us!

Molten Man: Don't worry. I'm- ( SLAM ) AGH!

Molten Man is suddenly smashed down by Menace and grabbed his head as the frightened students rushed into the corner

Menace: SURPRISE!

Molten Man: BITCH! GET OF ME!

Menace: Not unless I'm done with you!

Frightened Student 1: Oh god no!

The angry Menace opened fire with her gatling arm gun. Killing the frightened students dead, with Molten Man watching in shock

Hobgoblin: HAHAHA! IS THIS THE BEST YOU ALL HAVE TO OFFER!?

Hobgoblin continues his assault within the headquarters of the city's NYPD building. Killing a score number of police officer as they are lying dead on the floor. With only Frank Quaid and a small number of surviving officers holding up as Hobgoblin is seeing whoever is left alive

Hobgoblin: Hello! Anyone left for me to shoot!?

Frank Quaid: Damn. Where the hell is our back-up?

Police Officer 5: Sir, what do we do?

Frank Quaid: Just stay put. We'll think of something

Hobgoblin: It's over you sad useless piece of shits! This is where it all ends, and honestly how useful have you been!

Hobgoblin then took out a pumpkin bomb

Just as he was about to set it off Hobgoblin suddenly received a com-link from Mister X

Hobgoblin: X. I trust you have a good reason to contact me at this time?

Mister X (com-link): We have a situation that needs your attention, sir. The Ronin and his allies appeared at the school, and it looks like they have the numbers to stop us

Hobgoblin: And you don't have the skills to combat it as you were paid to?

Mister X (com-link): There's more. The Ronin has some involvement with our friend, Mr. Foswell, and the Manfredi

Hobgoblin suddenly froze with the mention of Foswell and the Manfredi family, with Ronin's sudden involvement. Realizing this might be his chance he suddenly decided to change his plan, but not before finishing what he's set out for

Hobgoblin:… Apologies gentlemen, but it appears I have other places to be

Frank Quaid: What?

Hobgoblin: So from here on out. ENJOY THIS GIFT OF MINE!

Frank: HAHAHAH!

( KABLAAAM )

Hobgoblin set up and threw his pumpkin bomb and quickly flew away through the window as it explodes. With Frank Quaid quickly jumping through the door and into cover as the floor he and the other officers were in exploded. As he gets up he was stunned to see all the officers he worked with lying dead with their bodies burnt. Unsure what to do next as he wonders what has just occurred

Frank Quaid: God. How could this have happened? Why?

Midtown Magnet High School: Hallway

As her body remained lying on the floor in a pool of her own blood, Ronin and Oni Maiden quickly rush to her side. With Ronin completely stunned and frightened for Liz as she appears to be losing breath and consciousness

Oni Maiden: Oh god no

Ronin: Liz. Liz!

Liz Allan: Ghk *cough*

Ronin: Please. You have to do something

Oni Maiden: I-I don't know what to do. I can only heal wounds, but this is just… Oh god I'm sorry. She's just… She's losing too much blood, and a damage like this. I… I'm so sorry

Ronin: No. No it can't be!

Liz Allan: *cough* *cough* My *cough* My brother… Is… Is he… okay?

Ronin:… Yeah. Yeah he's okay

Liz Allan: G-Good. I… I'm gald *cough* *cough* *cough* Ah

Ronin: Hang on. Just hang on. I'll get you help. Nico, is there any chance to slow it down?

Oni Maiden: I-I don't-

Liz Allan: N-Nico? Nico… Parker?

Liz turned to Ronin, who is now stunned but feels at this point he couldn't hide it from her

Surely but fearful, Ronin lift his mask and revealed his identity to her. Leaving Liz in shock that the person she's been in love with is the Ronin, but also notice the sadness in his eyes

Liz Allan:… Peter… I-It's… really you…

Ronin:… I never wanted you to find out like this… I never wanted you to be part of any of this… I cared too much for anyone to be a part of my life, but look at you now. You got hurt and its al my fault

Liz Allan: No… No it's not It's *cough* *cough* It's… my own… choice

Ronin: Liz

Liz Allan:… Peter… I spent months… Months thinking why… you ended us. Our relationship. I *cough* I-I tried so much… to move on, but I couldn't… Because *cough* Because I'm still in love with you

Ronin: Liz, please. You have to save your strength. We can get you help

Liz Allan: Peter

Ronin: Nico, please. Is there a chance you can stop the bleeding or slow it down?

Oni Maiden: I-I can't

Ronin: Nico

Oni Maiden: I'm sorry. I… I don't know any healing magic or any other way to slow it down. She's just… She's lost too much blood

Ronin: No. God no. There has to be a way. There has to!

Liz lifted her arm and placed her hand on his cheek. Intended to comfort the now saddened Ronin who has blamed himself for what has happened to Liz, who now appeared to have gotten more weaker as her skin has started to turn pale as Ronin held her hand. The two looked at each other deeply as

Ronin: No… You're the hero here… Always have been… Forever… And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry

Ronin: L-Liz… Liz

Liz Allan: Take… Take care… of Mark… for me… He has issues… but please… take… take care… of… him…

Ronin: No Liz. Liz no! No!

With her last ounce of breath Liz's eyes closed as her hands fell down from Ronin's hand. Lying lifeless as no sign of breath is seen. With the two looked in shock as Liz Allan has passed from her wounds, Ronin feels deeply saddened and Oni Maiden appeared stunned by what has transpired and turned to Ronin

Oni Maiden:… I'm sorry…

Ronin: No… Its… It's my fault… All of this… is my fault

( KRASH )

Suddenly, Molten Man was thrown through the wall from the classroom he's in and landed on the floor while covered in rubble

Molten Man: Agh! God damn. Shit! How can she… Huh?

Molten Man turned to see the unmasked Ronin on the scene. Surprised to know who it is

Molten Man: P-Peter? Why is he… No…

Looking next to him, Molten Man sees his sister not moving with Oni Maiden with Ronin and appeared saddened. Fearing the worst and looked on in disbelief

Molten Man:…

Oni Maiden:… I'm so sorry

Molten Man: N-No… No it can't- ( WHAM ) AGH!

Oni Maiden: No!

Ronin: Huh?

Menace: IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!?

Menace suddenly blasted through the wall and landed on Molten Man. Taking out her Plasma Sword and prepare to deal the killing blow

Menace: Well it doesn't matter now. You at least put up a good fight!

Molten Man: W-Why you!?

Menace: It is time… FOR YOU TO DIE!

Oni Maiden: NO!

Ronin: Grrr!

Menace: SO LONG!

Ronin: NOOO!

Menace: Huh?

Ronin: AAAAH!

Just as she was about to deal the killing blow, Ronin quickly got up and punched Menace in the face. Sending her back across the hallway as she landed on the floor. As Menace got up she sees Ronin, now completely furious, took out his sword and pointed at her. With Molten Man and Oni Maiden appeared surprised

Molten Man: Whoa

Oni Maiden: P-Peter

Menace: You. Why did you-

Ronin: How dare you

Menace: What?

Ronin: HOW DARE YOU!

( KTCHING )

Ronin strike with his sword as Menace blocked it. Feeling the vibration from the impact

Menace: That impact… W-Were you?

Ronin:… No… more

Menace: Huh?

Ronin:… Menace… I… will… KILL YOU!

Outside Midtown Magnet High School

Jumping from building to building until she reached her destination, Typhoid Mary appeared outside the school area with her new sniper and witness the battle in front of her while she hid herself

Typhoid Mary: My, my. Looks like the fun has started without me

Typhoid Mary witness the fight taking place outside the school. With Diamondback taking on George Stacy, Wraith, and Black Cat

Wraith: YOU'RE DONE FOR!

Diamondback: NOT YET!

( WHAM )

Wraith: UGH!

Diamondback kicked Wraith in the face

George Stacy: WRAITH!

Diamondback: NOW YOU!

Black Cat: Aren't you forgetting me!?

Black Cat attacked the villain directly and landed a blow with her claws. Causing damage to Diamondback's costume

Diamondback: Agh! You bitch!

Black Cat: Careful now. A diamond are a girl's best friends!

Diamondback: Then let's prove it

Diamondback suddenly threw a couple of sharp diamond blade at her, which Black Cat tries to evade but was too late as she got hit by them

( SLASH )

Black Cat: Agh!

Diamondback: You're mine!

Wraith: NO!

( BLAM )

Wraith: Ugh!

George Stacy: WRAITH!

Just before Diamondback pulled the trigger Wraith jumped in and save Black Cat, but the bullet manage to hit the top part of her mask. Damaging it with pieces of it falling off, as George opened fire on Diamondback, who ran into cover, as he approaches to the injured hero

George Stacy: Back Cat, is she alright?

Black Cat: Injured but alive

Wraith: Ugh

George Stacy: Hang on, Wraith

Diamondback: Nice shot Stacy! But it'll take to beat me!

George Stacy: You wait and see!

Venom and Punisher both fought against Bullseye, who flips around collected pieces of broken object and debris from the fight around the fight. Throwing them to Venom's face

Venom: You think those could do any harm to us!?

Bullseye: No, but this will!

Using the pieces to blindside him, Bullseye threw a grenade at him as it exploded

( BOOM )

Venom: AAAAAAGGGH!

Bullseye: HAH! I had that one prepared just for you freak!

Punisher: HOW ABOUT THIS!

Bullseye: THAT TOO!

Punisher took out his grenade launcher and pulled the trigger at him, but not before Bullseye took out and threw an exploding dart. Making contact with the grenade as it explode. Causing damage to Punisher's grenade launcher and partly himself, with some small debris hitting him

( KABLAM )

Punisher: ARGH!

Bullseye: HAHAHAH! EAT IT FUCKER! EAT IT!

Meanwhile, Moon Knight is currently fighting Mister X as the two are seen to be toe-to-toe against each other. With Moon Knight throwing his moon-shaped blades as Mister X deflected it with his sword and moved in to strike. But his attack was blocked when the hero took two more moon-shape blades and stopped his attack, with both facing each other

Mister X: Not bad. You almost got me there, but this fight is as good as mine

Moon Knight: Full of confidence I see, but that does not guarantee anything

Mister X: Well then let me rectify that!

Mister X started to read his mind to find any of his weakness, but suddenly realizes it was somehow blocked as the spirit Khonshu appeared

Mister X: What the!?

Khonshu (spirit form): You think you could infiltrate my sanctity!? How foolish!

( ZZAAAX )

Mister X: AAAAAGH!

Moon Knight: Got you!

( WHAK )

Khonshu Temporarily paralyzed his mind. Leaving Moon Knight an opening as he kicked away Mister X's sword and lift his moon-shape blades for the strike

Moon Knight: You're mine!

( KABOOM )

Suddenly, Hobgoblin appeared on his glider and fired pumpkin rocket at the area. Targeting most of the Defenders as they try to run to cover, with Mister X now recovered and got up

Hobgoblin: I see they still put up a fight! Enough to keep me annoyed!

Mister X: Hobgoblin sir!

Hobgoblin: X. I trust you have information?

Mister X: I do. The Ronin appears to have ties with Foswell. It appears they were both trying to bring us down using the Manfredi

Hobgoblin: Is that right, and where is he now?

Mister X: Inside the school fighting Menace

Hobgoblin: Good. Then you know what to do

Mister X: Consider it done

Midtown Magnet High School: Hallway

Inside the school, Ronin, Molten Man and Oni Maiden are continuing their fight against Menace as she uses her gatling gun to destroy the area until it starts running out of bullets

Menace: FUCK!

Ronin: Oni!

Oni Maiden: "Uindoburasuto"! (Wind Blast)

Oni Maiden fired a wind blast attack and send Menace flying onto a wall. With her lying on the wall Molten Man quickly rushes in to deliver a striking blow

Molten Man: YOU'RE DEAD BITCH!

Oni Maiden: No wait!

Menace: NOT YET!

Menace quickly took out her plasma sword and blocked his punch and hit Molten Man on the shoulder. While his body is still armoured and covered in flames he still feels the intensity burning through his skin

Molten Man: AAAAGGGH!

Ronin: MOLTEN MAN!

Menace: POW ON THIS! ( POW )

Molten Man: UGH!

Revealing parts of it being burnt on her skin, with mostly on her right side near her eye. The group however was shocked to see her face completely pale white, with her entire face completely covered in green marks and her eyes completely red. Filled with anger and a desire to cause harm

Ronin delivered a strong punch. Knocking Gwen down on the floor as he walks up to her. Seeing her struggling from her condition as it starts worsening. Ronin walks up to her as Gwen crawls away

Gwen Stacy: Agh! You… hurt me!

Ronin: Gwen… stop! Stop. You need to stop

Gwen Stacy:…

Ronin:… All this time… I was hurt. Hurt that you would chose to stay with him and not me, but it's okay because I hoped things would go back to the way they were. I never meant to hurt you, Gwen. I only want to spare you. From this. From all of this. You don't deserve it

Gwen Stacy: No… What you… What we deserve… IS DEATH!

Gwen used the gauntlet's control to summon back the glider and set it to self-destruct. With a large number of pumpkin bombs ready to explode

Ronin: Oh no

Gwen Stacy: YOU DIE WITH ME!

Ronin: NO!

( KABLAM )

The glider exploded and caused a large number of damage to the top floor, while Ronin quickly grabbed Gwen and protected her from the blast and fall a floor down but his mask was left damaged. Left injured from the blast, Ronin and Gwen struggle to get back up until their swords fell near each other. With Gwen seeing the katana near her and the sword near Ronin. The two picked it up and got up with it, but Ronin sees the cure falling from his pocket. Picking it up he wonders how he would inject it on Gwen. Left in his thoughts until he remembers

Peter Parker: Agh!

Meiko Yin: Nice attempt, but still sloppy

Peter Parker: Yeah. I notice

Meiko Yin: Come on. Get up

Getting up after his sparring match with Meiko, Pete wonders what he did wrong

Peter Parker: Still don't get it. I was for sure that would get you

Meiko Yin: It is still a good attempt, but I also notice you're trying to hold back your attack

Meiko Yin: You're still in doubt aren't you?

Peter Parker: Aren't I obvious?

Meiko Yin: It's not hard to read you. Especially when I see one filled questions in his mind

Meiko Yin: What is wrong, Peter?

Peter Parker:… There was this guy that I used to know. An old friend, and what he said to me… It got me thinking

Meiko Yin: You mean what happened at the Feather Mash base?

Peter Parker:…

Meiko Yin: You've never killed anyone have you?

Peter Parker:… No, and the thought of it… I was raised to be a good person. To never commit anything wrong, but I'm worried. Worried what would change me. I've never been used to something like this before. I want to do good, but I just don't feel right on how I'm doing it. Should taking a life really solve anything?

Meiko Yin: Only when there's a reason to

Peter Parker: How? How can there be any reason to justify taking a life?

Meiko Yin:… I was married once

Peter Parker: What?

Meiko Yin: Before I was ever a pat of Mistress's group I was married to a man name Karsano. He was charming, charismatic, and handsome in his way. However at that time he was part of a gang and I was working on my family's shop. There was a gang brawl near the path on my way to my school, and I somehow gotten the attention of some gangs that wanted to assault me, but then Karsano came in and intervened. He saved me, and our eyes met that day. It was an unexpected first meeting, but one that would change our lives forever. He even tried to tail me back home and ask me out. I was hesitant, but he showed a charming side I've grown quite attracted to. I went to a couple of dates with him until we both fell in love. I was the one thing he needed to walk the straight path. I know because one day a leader from a rival gang wanted revenge against Karsano, and even threatened to kill people close to him, and he was not going to let it happen. This man was unmerciful, but when Karsano beaten him to near death he begged to stop. That's when I intervened and stopped him. Karsano was spared while that man went to prison. After I graduate from high school he and I decided to get married. My family still disapproves of me in a relationship with him, but I did not care because we were in love, and even my younger cousin supported our relationship. Karsano earned a job as a mechanic while I earn as a florist. It wasn't the lifestyle we wanted, but it was good enough to support us. Enough for a wedding of our dreams, and then I walked down the aisle to marry him. It was a happy day for us, but then something happened

Peter Parker: What?

Meiko Yin:… The leader of the rival gang that Karsano tried to kill that day showed up in our wedding and opened fire at everyone. Even my cousin Angela suffered from it

Peter Parker:…

Meiko Yin:… That one man ruined everything for us, and even after he was arrested nothing became the same anymore. We couldn't even look at each other anymore. We became… distant. Further apart until we became separate. I think Karsano blamed himself for what has happened, but I know too well that I played a hand in it. Had he been killed that day then our lives would have been different

Peter Parker: But you stopped him from killing

Meiko Yin: But did not save the lives of many that day, and it was weeks since I've last saw him. One of his old gang mentioned he was going somewhere out of the city. I was unsure what he is doing, but months later he showed up a different man. Barely recognizable from the man I've fallen in love with. It was until I discovered he killed the man… along with his entire friends and family

Peter Parker: What?

Meiko Yin: Yes, but the sad part is he did it for me. He wanted to make amends for what has happened, and he believe that's was the option necessary. To take the life of people that have no part in this… I knew the man I loved died in our wedding. He killed himself the next day

Peter Parker:…

Meiko Yin:… That was the day I need to strengthen myself into something more. Something that would prevent something like that from happened. However I now realize I was too foolish to believe people can change their ways. Had Karsano killed him that day then our lives would have been different. We would still have a future. Perhaps I would not be here today

Peter Parker: Would that still justify it? For whatever reason

Meiko Yin:… Not everyone is meant to be saved. I learned that the hard way. You can try, but nothing can change from what is in front of you

Peter Parker: So you're suggesting that we should just kill as many as we can until the problem is gone?

Meiko Yin: Even if we did just that would it solve everything?

Peter Parker:… No

Meiko Yin: Then you understand. To take a life is to understand why we must and what the consequences will be. To keep your mind open and focus on even the smallest of details, and once you come to a conclusion only then must you decide on the outcome you wish to proceed. If you take a life of the most corrupt and evil man then you spare the death of thousands, but if you claim the life of a lesser foe then you are no different than the man you are supposed to stop and doom a thousand lives in the process

Peter Parker: How can that be?

Meiko Yin: Because it is a war in their own making, and wars are never just. A soldier commits a drone strike in the Middle-East. A cop shooting an unarmed man of a minority. A spy killing a high-ranked official of a known country. A terrorist bombing a civilian area. A vigilante deliver harm to a thug trying to make a living. You claim the lives of a hundred of innocents and create a thousands of wickedness in its place. No matter how many times you tried to justify it you end up being a fool in your own making. That is call a mistake and a crime. You Peter killed a gang leader of a man willing to commit more crimes that would cost even more innocent lives, but allow the men to die. That is something to be taken into consideration

Peter Parker: I had no part in that

Meiko Yin: But you were there, and you could have chosen to save as much as you can

Peter Parker:…

Meiko Yin: I understand where you are coming from, and I do not fault you for it because that is the best qualities of a true man, but as you get older you will start to see the flaws appearing all around you, and it will change you just as it has changed me. It is like glass. A cracked glass can be fixed, but a broken glass cannot be replaced, and left for too long will shatter . In honesty Peter, your greatest weakness is being too over-emotional, and that has often blinded you from what is in front of you. At the same time, your greatest strength is your will. The will to do what you believe is what needed

Peter Parker:…

Meiko Yin: You must pay attention to every detail that you come across. Shut down your emotions and focus on all things necessary and unnecessary, because even the smallest of details can prevent a death of an innocent. Once you do you must decide how, but you must never forget that every decision you make, even if it's the smallest one, can have a much larger impact on someone's life. Question is, do you have the will to do what is needed. Even if it cost you your own life?

Peter Parker:…

Ronin's Flashback End

Thinking back what Meiko said, Ronin unmasked himself while getting up with the sword while hiding the cure from her, with Gwen getting up and pointed the katana on him. The two stare at each other in silent until she speaks

Peter Parker:…

Gwen Stacy:… You are death Peter. Every mistake you've ever made resulted in people getting hurt and killed, and like a spider you feed on it. Feed on misery and deny any excuses you've done. I will kill you for that, but you will not die alone because I will be joining you. The two of us together. Lay waste in the pool of our blood. Mixing together as we become whole. Isn't that something?

Peter Parker:… I'm not going to allow that

Gwen Stacy:… You will try

Peter Parker:… Then come at me

Gwen Stacy: HAAAA!

Peter Parker: AAAAAH!

( TKLANG )

The two moved in for the kill as their swords meet. Seeing an opening Gwen moved the katana to strike for the kill, with Peter seeing a chance to block her attack, until suddenly he did something unexpected that surprised Gwen

Gwen Stacy: Huh?

Peter Parker: GAAAAAAH!

( STAB )

Gwen Stacy:…

Peter Parker: AAAAAAAH!

Peter drops the sword and lunges forward, as the katana pierced through his body. Moving closer as the katana moves through and grabs Gwen tightly. Wrapping his arms around her as she's left stunned by what he has done

Peter Parker:… Ow…

Gwen Stacy: B-B-But… why?

Peter Parker:… You… were right… I'm sorry

Gwen Stacy:…

Peter Parker:… I loved you… Always have

Gwen Stacy: P-Peter

Peter Parker:… And… I'm sorry

Gwen Stacy: AAAAAAAH!

( SHANK )

Peter Parker: AAAAAAAAGH!

Unknown to her, Peter took the cure and injected it on the back of her neck, with Gwen pulling the katana out and pushing him. Peter lie on the floor bleeding from his injuries, but sees Gwen completely dizzy and blank as the green marks slowly starts to disappear, but suddenly she moved further back to the railings as one of the bars broke and fell of the edge

Peter Parker: G-Gwen!?

( CRACK )

Gwen Stacy: AAAAH!

Peter Parker: NO!

Gwen Stacy: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

( SLAM )

Peter Parker:…

Falling from a couple of floors high, the bleeding and injured Peter crawls to the edge slowly and sees what happened. Gwen lying on the floor completely unconscious as the cure completely cleansed her body of traces of globulin green. With the green marks gone and her body returning to its original color, but the impact from the fall has caused her skull to crack. With her head bleeding and appeared as another corpse, the injured Peter gets up and jumps down. Unable to recover just yet, his body slammed on the ground

( SLAM )

Peter Parker: AAAAAGH! AGH! GWEN!

The injured Peter continues to crawl towards Gwen. Manage to reach her he sees Gwen unable to open her eyes. Her blood continues to bleed off from her head and nose as Peter manages to sit up and hold Gwen in his arms. Calling her to open her eyes to no success as she remains unresponsive. The air stood silent as he calls her name

Peter Parker:… G-Gwen… Gwen…

Gwen Stacy:…

Peter Parker:… No… No… Gwen… Gwen!? Gwen come on… Come on please. Please. Please Gwen. Please stay with me. You stay with me… Come on… Come on… Please… Please! Gwen! GWEN!

Gwen Stacy:…

With the school now quiet, some of the students and teachers start to come out. Flash Thompson and the others came out and see the devastation being wrought. With bullet holes, scorch marks and blood being seen all around

Glory quickly rushed to one of the body of the deceased student and immediately recognizing her. Causing Glory to break down in tears

Glory Grant: NOOOOO! NOOOO GOD NO! NO! NOOOOO!

Kenny Kong: Glory!?

Flash Thompson: Glory, what is-?

Randy Robertson: I-Is-

Sha Shan Nguyen: Oh god!

Flash, Sha Shan, and the others are shocked and horrified to see Liz Allen, their close friend, is now dead. With her body lying on the ground in a pool of he own blood and a bullet hole on her gut. The gang looked on and mourn for their friend

Kenny Kong: No. No!

Harry Osborn: Liz Allen!?

Carlie Cooper: Oh god!

Randy Robertson: No. God no!

Sha Shan Nguyen: LIZ!? OH GOD!

Flash Thompson: L-Liz! LIZ!

Glory Grant: NOOOOOOOO! LIZ NO! NOOOOOO! LIZ! *sob* *sob**sob* *sob* NOOOOOO!

Flash Thompson: LIZ! LIZ!

With Kenny tearfully holding the broken down Glory the gang surround Liz's deceased body in deep tears and shock that their best friend is gone forever. The teachers arrived to comfort them and slowly move them away, with the sound of sadness being filled in the air as the students of Midtown mourn for the loss of their closest friends now dead. Jason stood and was stunned by what has happened, but not more so as Sally. Slowly backing away, she showed to be completely stunned and shocked. Feeling as she was about to cry, Sally was left completely horrified that Liz Allen, the best friend she betrayed and insulted since she last saw her, is now lying dead on the floor for her friends to mourn heavily. Completely broken and shattered as a tear was shed from her eyes

Sally Avril: L-Liz?

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Holy crap this has been a challenge to do in my current situation, but here it is and my god how could I have done this right? This is perhaps the longest chapter I have ever done and I don't know if this would ever be good enough

Sorry that it took so long to put up but my situation has really not been great. I had work carrying a lot of heavy stuff. My computer is running slow that I had to get it repaired again. I had to help out some building work on an extension. A relative of mine died. My health has not been great. I've not been sleeping well. I've been confirmed to have depression. And lastly I'm just so exhausted and not well that I had to go to the doctors. Currently I'm doing fine at the moment and I have some spare time, but you never know. I tried my best to try and put this up sooner, but I've been preoccupied that I literally have no time to spare. Hopefully it won't be an occasional thing

Back to the story. Again, sorry that it took so long, but the fight scenes are just to hard to work out. I had different ideas how the fights would work, and then my ideas changed and kept on changing until I had the right idea. Another factor I had to work out is the plot itself and how it all ends from this point on. Namely how the roles of each character should play and what impact it will have. So I had to look back on previous chapters to see if I've left any plot holes that need to be filled up. With Gwen I had a clear idea how it will go and what mark she will leave, and here I tried to recreate the scene from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" scene with Spider-Man and Green Goblin and a deleted scene that never made it into the movie, but here it turned out not what I expected. Molten Man is the one character who is best known as a villain in pretty much everything, and so I need to do something that would make him go hero, and the serum that's suppose to cure him has now being used on Gwen instead. Including the fact that Peter lied to Mark about what Mary Jane really said to him. Janice Foswell however is a different case as you can see what has happened to her, with Gwen creating the serum of the globulin green batch back in Chapter 34 and injecting it on Janice. Now serving as the new Menace. In the end, Gwen is now spared from the Menace name and the actions she's committed, while Janice takes the blame for all of it. And with her current state of mind thanks to the globulin green serum inside her she would likely to believe it. Also most people here now know each other's secret identity. So that will matter later on

Anyhow, this chapter pretty much ends the Menace arc of this volume. I've purposely wanted to end this arc on this chapter because I feel I've taken too much time, and which is also the reason why this chapter is so freaking long. I've added a lot in this just to finish the Menace story, and yet I still feel that I have made some mistakes that I'm not sure what. I tried looking it over and I'm still in doubt if it was ever right. With that arc done I can move on to the Sinister Syndicate arc. Which I've delayed far enough and hopefully I will get on it soon

Again, sorry for the delay on this, and hopefully next time I can try to add it up sooner, and also try making the chapters abit short next time
