41: The Bleeding Confession

REVIEW'S RESPONSE:

Deadpoolsson: Not just yet

NeoTyson: You are right. Nothing will ever be the same, and that's were the fun part begins

spiderman1fan: The fate of Gwen will be revealed later on. Glad I surprised you on that

Nqobile & Anna: Thank you for the kind words

David: Thank you, and don't worry. Kate will be involved soon

Plasma57, Guest, & Guest2: Working on it

cabrera1234: Did what I had to

Spidey Viewer: Thank you for that

Spider-man fan: I do agree with you on that since "Sin's Past" still remains the one issue I deeply hate, but in the show Gwen really didn't have a choice in the matter. Although I do agree with you on the matter because I felt really bad for Liz after what she's been through. Especially with her brother, but what would you expect? Spider-Man's casts have always been full of drama, and bad choices. And it often result in making even more stupid or worse decisions and so on. So yeah, that marks the end of the 1st arc of this chapter. Now this is the beginning of the 2nd arc

HandAssassinSpider-man: I like Liz too, and honestly Peter shouldn't have broken up with her, but what I have planned requires that she dies

Somewhere in New York

With the limo driving through a heavy built up traffic and heading home, Derek is seen on his phone talking to his assistant about the situation involving Bishop Enterprise

Derek Bishop: Our profits are down!? What do you mean our profits are down?

Alya Dupain (on phone): The Finance department cannot explain it sir. It just suddenly happen, and if this keeps up then this could also affect our stock margin

Derek Bishop: Send me a detail report of what's going and call the board for an arrange meeting tomorrow. I want to make sure nothing is left out. If there's a chance that it can be an error then there's a possibility to recover from this

Alya Dupain (on phone): I'll send you the details as soon as the Finance department is done analyzing

Derek Bishop: See to it

Derek hangs up his phone with Jeeves on the driver's seat noticing the buildup of traffic along with sounds of siren as they left to the next lane home

Derek Bishop: Finally we are out of that

Jeeves: That's quite odd. There shouldn't have been this much traffic before. And with so much sirens going on

Derek Bishop: Well whatever it is cannot be that serious. Could be some construction work going wrong or a traffic accident. Who knows what's really going on in this city?

Jeeves: With a number of incidents going on its worrying to think this gang-related activity is getting worse. The streets might not even be safe if it comes to that

Derek Bishop: I know. Along with Susan's wedding and Katherine's photo shoots being here. I can't imagine anything bad happen to them

Jeeves: Well perhaps a good cup of tea in your own home would take you mind of things. And with your work starting to take your toll could it would be relaxing to take you mind of things for a while

Derek Bishop: That… would be for the best. Thank you Jeeves

Jeeves: Happy to serve you sir

( Brrrr )

Derek Bishop: God damn

Derek's phone rang as he answers it

Derek Bishop: This is Derek here

Master Planner (on phone): Hello Mr. Bishop. I take it you have a good day

Derek is suddenly surprised and afraid. Recognizing the voice of the Master Planner as he kept his voice down to avoid Jeeves from hearing it

Derek Bishop: M-Master Planner?

Master Planner (on phone): Good afternoon, Derek. I trust nothing serious has happened to your company. On account of the loss of your profits

Derek Bishop: Wait. That was you?

Master Planner (on phone): Apologies, but planning requires funding as I am nearing my final touches

Derek Bishop: You took money from my company?

Master Planner (on phone): It wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure you'll recover from this loss by cutting some salaries or lay off some staff members. After all, you wouldn't want anything happen to your daughter's wedding

Derek Bishop: Planner please, I've given what you ask for. What more do you want from me?

Master Planner (on phone): I'll be done with you when I say so

Derek Bishop: B-But

Master Planner (on phone): Or would you rather have the press find out about your secret dealings with HYDRA before you cut ties with them a few years back. Maybe they would also know about your company playing a part involving a certain incident that risked the lives of the so-called Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

Derek Bishop:… I had no part in that

Master Planner (on phone): But your greed did and you just accepted without realizing the part your company played. And who would refuse the amount of money being made. You were only lucky that you were spared before you realize who they really were. An information like that could surely leave your company blacked face and have the FBI in your doorstep. And if you need reminding that underwater lair I used before it was destroyed by Spider-Man was built by Bishop Enterprise's money when HYDRA requires a base of operation until they abandoned it

Derek Bishop:

Master Planner (on phone): You should have properly erase all traces of your involvement in this matter, and perhaps you would have not been in this predicament. Think what would happen with your family if anyone else find out

Derek Bishop: Alright… Please. What do you want?

Master Planner (on phone): You invested a sum of money in a new telecommunication software company that is about to introduce a next generation smart-phone technology with a new blue-tooth system. I have some technologies that needs to be installed on them

Derek Bishop: You want me to go to T&I and have them install your technology?

Master Planner (on phone): You should be glad to know it's in your company's name, and I'm sure the installations would be done on time. All it requires that you do this now

Derek Bishop: But… why? What do they even do?

Master Planner (on phone): That's none of your concerns. Just get this done and you'll be scot free

Derek Bishop: B-But-

Master Planner (on phone): I'll be looking forward to your progress. Good day

Master Planner hangs up as Derek is left even more worried. Fearing of losing his company, but mostly fear for his family. Jeeves then sees Derek worried

Jeeves: Is everything alright sir? It wasn't too serious is it?

Derek Bishop:… No… No its fine… Its… all fine

Bishop Manor: Living Room

Sitting on the table is Kate as she helps her sister, Susan, and her fiancée Brent sorting out the letters for who should be invited to the wedding

Kate Bishop: Ugh. How many people are you inviting to this wedding?

Susan Bishop: Enough to bitch-face my high school rivals to the face

Kate Bishop: But they're you're friends

Brent Cunningham : Don't argue with her, Katie. When it comes to weddings friends would like to one up each other to see whose wedding is better

Kate Bishop: And how many she does that exactly?

Susan Bishop: Hey I don't always one up people

Kate Bishop: Your school play, your cheerleading, your dancing, your prom nights, your dates, your shopping, your sports, your modelling, your collections of fashion designs, and now this. You just rub it in people's faces

Susan Bishop: And the other Manhattanites of the city who are going to plan their own wedding

Kate Bishop: That won't last

Susan Bishop: Oh we'll see little sister. We'll see

Arriving home is Eleanor Bishop with her youngest daughter Heather Bishop and Brent's mother, Melissa Cunningham. Meeting the girls

Heather Bishop: Ah. Made it

Eleanor Bishop: Hello girls

Kate Bishop: Hey mom

Susan Bishop: Hi mom. Welcome back

Brent Cunningham : Welcome back mom

Melissa Cunningham: Hello Brent. Are you all doing alright?

Kate Bishop: Barely

Brent Cunningham : Just picking who to invite for the wedding

Melissa Cunningham: I hope you have fun with that. The people that have barely anything you invite to make them jealous the better the feeling you get from the wedding

Kate Bishop: God dammit

Brent Cunningham : Please don't encourage her mom

Susan Bishop: Too late. I already have an idea who to invite

Heather Bishop: While you have a boring time "Orange Hills" is about to start

Susan Bishop: The show with your favorite TV boyfriend you've been thinking off

Heather Bishop: Silence you!

Heather grabs the remote and sits on the couch as she turns on the TV. Only to have the channel display breaking news coverage.

Heather Bishop: Ugh! Stupid news interfering my TV time

Susan Bishop: Sucks to be you Heather

Heather Bishop: First a traffic jam and now this? I swear couldn't this happen at any other day in Midtown

Kate Bishop: Wait, what? Midtown?

Heather Bishop: Yeah. Why?

Kate Bishop: Where in Midtown?

Melissa Cunningham: It says down town. And it's a school

Brent Cunningham : What? A school?

Eleanor Bishop: Oh my goodness. Is that what happens?

Kate Bishop: Give me that!

Heather Bishop: Hey!

Kate grabs the remote from Heather and turns the volume up to see the report on downtown Midtown, with Whitney Chang reporting on scene. Shocked to see that Midtown Magnet High School was attacked as it's the school Peter Parker goes to

Kate Bishop: No

Whitney Chang (on screen): This is Whitney Chang reporting to you live in front of the Midtown Magnet High School were tragedy struck as a supervillain attack has claimed the lives of over 600 students including teachers, and almost a thousand casualties. Eye-witness report a group of supervillains attacking the school as the city's own heroes attempt to stop this incident. Only to be confronted by the villain known as Menace, who many would identify her as the villain who killed Spider-Man. Despite the struggle the Menace has been reportedly been captured and identified as 16 year old Janice Foswell of Hawthorne Academy

Kate Bishop: What!?

Brent Cunningham : Hawthorne Academy?

Heather Bishop: Isn't that your school?

Melissa Cunningham: Oh god

Eleanor Bishop: Janice Foswell. Isn't she… one of your friends?

Kate Bishop: Janice… is Menace? And… Peter… Oh god. Peter

Midtown Magnet High School: Front Entrance

In front of the entrance of the school are surrounded with news crews, ambulance, and what's left of the remaining police officers. Along with a number of parents on the scene and in mourning as the bodies of the dead students have been carried away. With Whitney still reporting with the camera still on her

Whitney Chang: While her motives are still unknown it is still unclear what will become of her while she's still in custody. However, this has not quell the situation as it will most likely raise the debate on security matters, but also the consequences of Spider-Man's death being felt by this. With a number of gang arrests and some villain fatality, the question is what to do now that a small number of officers are left standing. No doubt the issue will be raised in Mayor Waters's office as the ideas of involving the national guards was presented, and the question is will it solve the security matter or worsen. Whatever the days may come only one thing is for sure. Nothing will ever be the same again. This is Whitney Chang reporting live from Midtown Magnet High

David Hine: And cut

As the camera stops Whitney looked around and sees the horror and sadness being filled in the air. With David commenting on the matter

David Hine: Fuck. How could someone do something like this to these kids?

Whitney Chang: I don't know

David Hine: We should probably get out of here. Don't feel right staying here long with a camera in my hands

Whitney Chang: You go on ahead. I'll be staying for a while to help out

David Hine: Alright. Take care of yourself Whitney

Whitney Chang: I will

David packed up his camera and left, as Whitney heads into the area until her phone rang and sees Peter's number

Whitney Chang: Oh thank god

Meanwhile, Wilson Allan arrived on the scene and finds his son, Mark, on the floor next to the body of the deceased Liz Allan. Wilson walked forward to see her daughter as he breaks down on his knees in tears

Wilson Allan: No… NonononoNOOOOOOO!

Mark Allan: Dad-

Wilson Allan: OH GOD NO! NOT HER! Liz! My daughter! My beautiful daughter! NO!

Mark comfort his father as they both mourn the loss of a close family member. Madeline, Anna, and Gayle Watson also showed up on the scene, along with Peter's Aunt May who arrived with them. Until George Stacy appeared to her

George Stacy: Mrs. Parker

May Parker: Captain Stacy?

George Stacy: I'm glad you're here

May Parker: Peter and Nico. Are they safe?

George Stacy: They're fine

May Parker: But where are they?

Whitney Chang: St Mary Ann Hospital

Whitney approached George and May and inform them about Peter

Whitney Chang: Just got a call from this Nico girl. She's with Peter in St Mary Ann Hospital, and they said they've brought this Gwen girl of yours

George Stacy: What?

May Parker: We need to go

Whitney Chang: I'm coming too. I need to see him

May Parker: Anna

Anna Watson: Go May. Be with your family, May. Keep them safe

George Stacy: Alright. Let's go

George, May, and Whitney head into a police car and head off to St Mary Ann Hospital. A man in a hospital uniform led to a stretcher to a body covered in white sheet and revealed the body of Mary Jane Watson. Completely lifeless and covered in blood as the three family member were left stunned and shocked

Gayle Watson: M-Mary Jane

Anna Watson: Oh god no!

Madeline Watson: NOOOOO! MARY JANE! NO! NOOO!

The Watson family mourned heavily for this loss, as Madeline bend down on her knees and held her daughter tightly as she cries. Harry watches this from afar as his mother, Emily Osborn takes he away

Emily Osborn: Come on, Harry. You don't need to see this

Harry Osborn: But… I can help

Emily Osborn: There's… nothing you could do. I'm sorry, but please. Let's just go

Harry Osborn:

Feeling helpless but knows he won't be able to do much, Harry got inside the limo with his mother as they drove off. Meanwhile, Flash, Sha Shan, and Randy are with Glory who is being comforted by Kenny as they are still saddened by Liz's death

Glory Grant: *sob* … *sob**sob* *sob*

Kenny Kong: Glory…

Glory Grant:… This… This shouldn't have happen… This *sob* … This is not how… it supposed to be

Sha Shan Nguyen: Liz. Oh god, Liz

Flash Thompson: This… This can't be happening… No…

Randy Robertson: God… no… Liz…

Glory Grant: God. Why… Why her?

Kenny Kong:

Glory Grant: I… I just… I-

Sally Avril: Guys…

The group turned and sees a guilt-ridden Sally approaching them. But are not pleasantly positive about her and appeared quite angry at Sally for her treatment on Liz

Glory Grant:

Randy Robertson: Sally…

Sally Avril: Guys… I-

Flash Thompson: What the hell you want now! It's bad enough that you had to embarrass Liz! And now you want some pity over it!?

Sally Avril: I-It's nothing like that!

Kenny Kong: Then what!? You've already humiliated Liz as it is. Now you want to score some sympathy points after all that!?

Sally Avril: It's not like that! I-I never wanted for Liz to get hurt!

Randy Robertson: You should have thought about that when you were fucking Jason behind her back!

Sally Avril: R-Randy, I-

Randy Robertson: How long has this been going on, huh!? How long have you and Jason been at it!

Sha Shan Nguyen: How could you, Sally? After what Liz has been though you've been seeing Jason behind her back!?

Sally Avril: I… I just-

Flash Thompson: I often thought of you as being your old selfish person, but never thought of you as a slut-face bitch!

Sally Avril: But Liz… Liz is my friend! I-I never meant for any of this!

Glory Grant: SHUT UP!

( SLAP )

Sally Avril:

In a fit of anger, Glory got up towards Sally and slapped her hard on her face, as she felt it while seeing her in anger and tears

Glory Grant:

Sally Avril: G-Glory-

Glory Grant: LIZ ALLAN IS DEAD! SHE'S DEAD! BECAUSE OF YOU!

Sally Avril:

Glory Grant: DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT SHE'S BEEN GOING THROUGH YOU STUPID SELFISH BICH! SHE WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND AND YOU'VE BEEN FUCKING THE ONE GUY SHE'S BEEN DATING!? THE ONE GUY SHE'S BEEN TRYING TO WORK!?

Sally Avril: J-Jason and I… I-I mean she hasn't-

Glory Grant: HASN'T WHAT! JASON HASN'T EVEN SPENT ANY TIME WITH HER!

Sally Avril: W-What?

Glory Grant: How dare you. HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO LIZ!

Sally Avril:… But Glory. Please-

Glory Grant: ENOUGH! DON'T YOU EVER SAY ANOTHER FUCKING WORD!

Sally Avril:

Glory Grant:… You cost us the only friend I've ever had. The friend we had since 2nd grade, and now that she's gone there is nothing that can ever bring her smile back because she died today in the worst way no one should have. She died sad and alone with no one there in her final moments. Did she suffered enough!?

Sally Avril: G-Glory…

Glory Grant: I hope you're happy now Sally, because this will be the last time we'll ever speak again. You sent Liz to her death and I will never forgive you for that. Never…

Sally Avril: Glory. Please-

Glory Grant: JUST FUCK OFF AND DON'T EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN!

Sally Avril:

As she continues to cry as she displays an angry face to her, Glory Grant walks away with Kenny Kong as Flash, Sha Shan, and Randy. Standing in the distance is Jason who saw the whole thing and sees Sally appearing sad as she turns and sees him, but hids his face and walks off. Ignoring her as Sally stood completely upset and filled with guilt by all of this. Seeing herself completely alone as there is no one for her to go to, as she stands completely silent and in tears

Sally Avril:… Liz… Liz. I'm sorry…

Ryker Island Prison: Inside

Hallway

Frank Quaid is seen with Barry McCormick as they discuss today's incident. Along with the burnt body that was found on Nick Lewis's Penthouse

Frank Quaid: Frederick Foswell? As in the bugle reporter?

Barry McCormick: That's right, and it turns out he also happens to be the girl's father

Frank Quinn: So judging by the evidence we've got so far the Hobgoblin was Roderick Kingsley, and Nick Lewis's own son end up in charge of it all. Shame we won't know his motives now

Barry McCormick: But you really think he would be capable of something like this?

Frank Quaid: He's the Crime Master's son. What do you think?

Both officers stopped in front of a cell as they see a now mentally broken and insane Janice Foswell. Wrapped in a straight-jacket and appeared completely pale white with green marks covering her face and her eyes completely pure red. The now mad Janice struggles to break free, but appears completely exhausted as she drool from her mouth. Both Frank and Barry sees her and are left wondering

Janice Foswell: AAAAAAAAAAAGGGH! KILLL YOU! KILL! Kill! Aaah!

Frank Quaid: My god. What could have done this to her?

Barry McCormick: No idea, but standing her makes it seems like she's an actual goblin

Frank Quaid: What else can you tell me about this girl?

Barry McCormick: Her bio reads she studies in Hawthorne Academy. Funny enough a kid we found dead also wore a Hawthorne Academy uniform. You think there's a tie?

Frank Quaid: Thinking how stupid these prep school kids are with their drugs? Maybe, but I don't know still. Where's Ray?

Barry McCormick: Out to pick up her daughter since she also studied in Midtown. He was lucky that her daughter lived from this

Frank Quaid: Yeah, but why she would attack the school. Was it to draw the Ronin and the other heroes there?

Barry McCormick: Eye-witnesses appeared to have thought the same thing. Luckily two of the villains that were on the scenes are killed while the third one got away

Frank Quaid: Despite that we still don't have any real motive, but still it wouldn't hurt to get to the bottom of it. Have the warrant ready for investigation. We'll take a look at both her house and school for any traces of clues

Barry McCormick: I'll send the word, but I doubt we'll get anything done. After what happened

Frank Quaid: The Hobgoblin and his boss are dead, and she's in our custody. This will serve justice, and she's going away for a long time

Janice Foswell: Aaaaaaah! *pant* Kill… KILL! *pant* *pant* KILL YOU ALL! *pant* *pant**pant* *pant* *pant* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

?

Arriving back from her task, Typhoid Mary is seen being greeted by the Hooded Man and Parker Robbins

Typhoid Mary: Glad to see you guys again

Hooded Man: Well done on your task, Mary

Parker Robbins: Any troubles on your part?

Typhoid Mary: No. Everything went according to plan. No troubles whatsoever

Parker Robbins: Good. Now that has taken care off only Albert Jenkins to do his part

Hooded Man: With Hobgoblin and his group deal with that leaves only Doctor Octopus and his Sinister Syndicate

Typhoid Mary: But that also would leave the Manfredi family to deal with

Hooded Man: We will worry about the Manfredi later, but right now we must focus on the matter at hand

Typhoid Mary: So does that mean he'll show up?

Parker Robbins: Only when the condition is met, but right now we must wait

Hooded Man: So until then we must discuss another matter involving the girl

Typhoid Mary: Huh?

Parker Robbins: Gwendolyne Stacy. I admit I didn't think we would accomplish this task. Now that it is done we need to decide what to do with her. Since Menace's identity was a different girl then there is risk that the girl would disrupt any chance we have before the night comes

Hooded Man: That is true. Do we know where she is?

Typhoid Mary: I can look into that

Parker Robbins: You sure?

Typhoid Mary: I was the one that put her into this. I will be the one that will put her out

St Mary Ann Hospital: Operation Room

Inside, a number of doctors are seen operating on the unconscious Gwen, with her head completely shaved off and her head exposed. Cleaning the blood off as the doctors begun repairing her fractured skull with precision and delicately using bio-cement. With Dr. Franklin Bromwell in charge of performing the operation

St Mary Ann Hospital: Operation Department Floor

Outside the room, Nico is seen with Peter, who had been bandaged after his injuries, and are still waiting for news about Gwen's condition. Quietly on their seats while Nico sees Peter still upset

Nico Minoru: You okay?

Peter Parker: I'll heal, but damn that still hurts

Nico Minoru: I can't believe you took a sword blow. One wrong move and you could have been dead

Peter Parker: I know my biology involving the human body. Just have to be precise for the blow to hit while avoiding my organs. Actually taking it proved to be the hard part

Nico Minoru: That took guts you know. It's still stupid, but still a load of guts

Peter Parker: Thanks

Nico Minoru:… But I won't like it if you end up in a coffin, and your aunt May already buried another loved one before

Peter Parker:

Nico Minoru: What were you thinking?

Peter Parker:… It was the only way to save her. I had to

Nico Minoru:… She's really that important to you?

Peter Parker: She's my friend. Of course she is

Nico Minoru: Just friends you say. Or something else?

Peter Parker: There's nothing going on… Not anymore

Nico Minoru: Then explain to me how the hell did she because a supervillain?

Peter Parker:

Nico Minoru: I was shocked to be honest. I was flying to where you are and I found you with a sword through your body while you held Gwen wearing nothing but her panties and a broken skull with her head bleeding

Peter Parker: If you never showed up with your magic then she wouldn't even have survive that

Nico Minoru: All I did was slowed the bleeding and dropped her temperature down and applied pressure

Peter Parker: Other than that. Thank you

Nico Minoru: Hey. We're family now. Why shouldn't I?

Peter Parker:… Family…

With the two sitting quietly and waiting George, May, and Whitney arrived at the operation department and sees them with a sign of relief

George Stacy: Peter!

May Parker: Peter! Nico!

Peter Parker: Aunt May. Captain Stacy

Nico Minoru: Aunt May

May rush towards and hugs both Peter and Nico tightly. Relieved that they are both safe

May Parker: Peter. Nico. Thank goodness you're both safe

Peter Parker: We're okay Aunt May. In fact, you have Nico to thank for

Nico Minoru: It was nothing

Peter Parker: You kidding me? If it weren't for her I wouldn't have made it out okay. Especially helping me save Gwen

May Parker: Nico. Thank you

Nico Minoru: It's okay. Don't worry

Whitney Chang: Peter, you okay? I was worried

Peter Parker: I'll live. Barely

George Stacy: What about Gwen. Is she okay!?

Nico Minoru: She's still inside. We'll have to wait until the doctors come out

George Stacy: God. Gwen. This is all my fault

Peter Parker: What do you mean?

George Stacy:… It's-

Dr. Franklin Bromwell came out from the surgery room and meets with Peter, May, and the rest

May Parker: Franklin

Franklin Bromwell: May. It's real good to see you. And Peter-

Peter Parker: How's Gwen? Is she going to be okay?

Franklin Bromwell: It's… hard to say, but… she's out of danger. However, because of the impact she received the hippocampus in her brain has sustain damage and was swelling up. We manage to reduce the swelling, but we don't even know what her mental state is. Whether this could result in her memory loss, her emotions could have been readjusted, or a risk of further mental damage that could also affect her entire body

George Stacy: But will she be alive? Will she make it!?

Peter Parker: Captain Stacy

George Stacy: Please… Will she?

Franklin Bromwell:… Yes. She'll live. Thank god for that

Hearing this news George breathed a sigh of relief that Gwen is still alive despite her injuries, as is Peter and the others

May Parker: Gwen. The poor dear

Nico Minoru: At least she's okay

Peter Parker: Will we be able to see her?

Franklin Bromwell: We've just finish the operation. So soon you'll be able to see her later on once a room is being arranged. So until then, pray that she'll wake up soon

Dr. Bromwell went back inside the operation theatre to check up on Gwen, as George walks towards Peter. Placing his hands on his shoulder

George Stacy:

Peter Parker: C-Captain Stacy… I-

George Stacy: Thank you

Peter Parker: What?

George Stacy: I meant it, Peter. For saving my daughter… Thank you

Peter Parker:

Somewhere in New York

In a different part of the city, some numbers of police officers are on the scene at an alleyway, were Stan Carter and Michelle Gonzales enter and met with NYPD Officer, Barry McCormich, on scene

Barry McCormich: Glad you both made it

Stan Carter: Hey Ray. Your daughter okay?

Barry McCormich: What do you think? She's still traumatize after a friend of hers got shot. I'm just glad she's alive

Michelle Gonzales:

Barry McCormich: Oh… Michelle. I… I'm sorry about Gonzales. He was a good cop

Michelle Gonzales: T-Thank you…

Stan Carter:… So what did you found?

Barry McCormich: A call from one of the locals found a body in an alleyway. Cooper is already examining it

Stan Carter: Another gang victim?

Barry McCormich: You might say that, but it's something else. A supervillain

Michelle Gonzales: Which one?

Barry McCormich: Diamondback

Hearing her name, Michelle's eyes opened up, as is Stan Carter, who has been revealed to be dead. Surprising the two, with the two already knew her real identity as Jean DeWolff

Michelle Gonzales:… What?

Stan Carter: Are… you sure?

Barry McCormich: With the costume she wore. Yeah

Stan Carter:

Michelle Gonzales:… Show us

Stan Carter: Michelle. Maybe-

Michelle Gonzales: Just show us. Now

Barry McCormich: Alright

Barry took Stan and Michelle to the body of Diamondback, which has been covered in white sheet, but traces of blood is showing. While Stan and Michelle are still stunned by the fact that she's now dead. Suddenly noticing her body is left with no head

Stan Carter: W-What the?

Michelle Gonzales: Her… head

Barry McCormich: Yeah. She was found like that. Don't know what happened to her

Stan Carter:

Barry McCormich: You guys alright?

Stan Carter: Y… Yeah. I-

Michelle Gonzales: I have to go. Need… to sort things out

Barry McCormich: Okay, and hey

Michelle Gonzales:

Barry McCormich:… I'm sorry about your brother. He was a good cop and a good guy

Michelle Gonzales:… Thank you

Stan Carter: Come on. I'll take you home

Stan takes Michelle away from the scene as he brought her into a police car. Inside, Stan was about to turn on the accelerator, but turned and sees Michelle still upset and in tears as he tries to comfort her

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter:… Michelle…

Michelle Gonzales:… I wanted to kill her… It should have been me that killed her

Stan Carter:

Michelle Gonzales:… I still couldn't believe it. Jean… Jean fucking DeWolff… How the hell did that happen?

Stan Carter:… It surprised me too. And yet… I can't help but feel bad

Michelle Gonzales: I don't blame you… You two were…

Stan Carter:… Yeah…

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter:

Michelle Gonzales:… My parents were immigrant. You know?

Stan Carter: From Mexico… I know. Vincent told me about it. You're originally from Arizona

Michelle Gonzales: Of course he does, and does he tell you why?

Stan Carter: Government corruption, gang problems, lack of jobs.

Michelle Gonzales: Despite all that education my family still came to America in hopes for a better life, but that proved difficult. Back then it was worse to live in the states

Stan Carter: I can imagine

Michelle Gonzales: We couldn't even get the necessary papers needed for citizenship. There were only a few options, and one of them involves my papi going overseas to fight. He almost lost his life in the war many times. Vincent was only 3 while I was only a few months old. It took him a couple of years until we got the papers needed for full citizenship. After he left he thought New York would be a good start. Been wanting to see the Statue of Liberty. Figured with his skills being a cop would be the one thing he could do

Stan Carter: So that's how you and Vin started

Michelle Gonzales:… My papi always hear about stories of heroes like Captain America and Iron Man living in this city. It was exciting for us, because we hoped to see them in person. I guess that's part of the reason he became a cop. Wanting to meet those heroes because deep down… they inspire him to do good. Not just to the people, but to the family as well. To become the person he needed to be. To be a hero for us, even in our time of difficulties. He was our hero. Even after our mama died he still won't let it down. He needed us as much as we needed him… He was… and always has been… our… our hero

Stan Carter:

Michelle Gonzales:… We wanted to be so much like him… But now… Now… I have no one… I… have no one left…

Stan Carter:… Not true… You have me…

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter:… I'm still here… And I ain't going anywhere…

Michelle Gonzales:… Stan…

Stan Carter:

Michelle Gonzales:

Seeing Michelle shedding tears as he comforts her, Stan held her hand as the two looked at each other and stayed silent

Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Sable's Office

Sitting in her office, Sable is currently on call with Mayor Jillian Waters involving today's incident and ask for her Silver Watch group

Sable Manfredi: Well… this is unexpected

Jillian Waters (on phone): But this could be a perfect opportunity for you and your company

Sable Manfredi: We can provide, but what you're also asking will only give the public the wrong impression

Jillian Waters (on phone): Nonsense. After what happened in Midtown. It was bound to happen. Especially with the recent gang activity, and the attack on an NYPD headquarters

Sable Manfredi: You're asking me to coordinate with the National Guard with full might

Jillian Waters (on phone): With lack of police force now the National Guard seems to be the only option available

Sable Manfredi:… If this were to happen then it needs to be done carefully

Jillian Waters (on phone): Of course, and you'll be funded as always

Sable Manfredi:… I'll have the preparations for the Enhanced Task Force ready

Jillian Waters (on phone): Perfect. I'll set up a public announcement and I'll inform the National Guard to be ready. I'll be looking forward to the results you'll be giving

Sable hangs up her phone, but is left feeling concerned for Peter after hearing about the attack on Midtown, as Meiko Yin appeared in front of her with news

Meiko Yin: Mistress

Sable Manfredi: What is it, Meiko?

Meiko Yin: I've just received a call from Sun Wukong. It's about Peter

Sable Manfredi:

Meiko Yin: Yes. He only received some injuries but he is safe and is at the St Mary Ann's Hospital with a friend

Sable Manfredi:… Thank god

Meiko Yin: There is more. Kingsley is dead. Along with his entire group.

Sable Manfredi: What? Are you sure?

Meiko Yin: Yes. Wukong also confirmed Peter was also seen there when it happen. Maybe he had a hand in what has happened

Sable Manfredi:… Was there anything else?

Meiko Yin: Wukong hasn't said much after that except that you shouldn't worry

Sable Manfredi:

Meiko Yin: Mistress?

Sable Manfredi:… Who else knows?

Meiko Yin: Your father. You can imagine the reaction

Sable Manfredi:… Hold my calls. I'm going to St Mary Ann's Hospital

Sable's Skycadia Penthouse: Hallway

Sable picks up her coat as she heads off, but on her way is her father, Silvio, who looks at her knowing where she's going

Sable Manfredi:

Silvio Manfredi:… Sable. Don't-

Sable Manfredi: I have to see him. I have to be sure

Silvio Manfredi: Meiko already gave you the detail of what Wukong said

Sable Manfredi: That still doesn't make me feel any better

Silvio Manfredi: Sable. You were the one that recruited him because you saw some value in him

Sable Manfredi: I recruited him as another henchmen because of his quick reaction and skills. I didn't think he would go in too deep like what happened it the Feather Mash gang

Silvio Manfredi: That shows dedication and commitment

Sable Manfredi: He's a stupid kid that gone over his head

Silvio Manfredi: Sable

Sable Manfredi: How stupid can that Parker kid be? And by himself?

Silvio Manfredi: Sable

Sable Manfredi: What if he gets killed in my watch? How can his Aunt May handle that?

Silvio Manfredi: Sable!

Sable Manfredi: I have to be sure, father. I have to-

Silvio Manfredi: He will not end up like your mother

Sable stood silent after being reminded of her mother. Slowly remembering what happened from her happy times to her tragic, as Silvio sees it

Silvio Manfredi:

Sable Manfredi:… Why bring her up?

Silvio Manfredi: Because I know my daughter far too well what's going on in her head.

Sable Manfredi:

Silvio Manfredi:… All those years. All this time you still carry that guilt if what happened that day. But you were not responsible for her death

Sable Manfredi: I was weak. Unprepared. Incapable

Silvio Manfredi: You were only 8 years old. What can you do then?

Sable Manfredi: My mistake got mother killed

Silvio Manfredi: Her death is not your fault

Sable Manfredi: I could have stopped it. I know I could

Silvio Manfredi: And you would have been killed yourself, and for her would be even worse than death

Sable Manfredi:

Silvio Manfredi:… Tell me. Do you really think seeing him now would make anything better? You knew what you brought him into when he agreed. Why stop now when he has proven himself to be more valuable than any other men we've gained

Sable Manfredi:… He's still a kid

Silvio Manfredi: A kid who is now a man, and has given us the result we need to ensure our rule

Sable Manfredi: Would mother agree to this!?

Silvio Manfredi:… We've done worse things before. That has not changed for us since then

Sable Manfredi:

Silvio Manfredi: Your rule must be ensured. Nothing must interfered on that

Sable Manfredi: And Peter?

Silvio Manfredi:… He's a soldier in this war, and seeing first-hand what he's capable off. This will not stop him

Sable Manfredi: Is that what you believe?

Silvio Manfredi: It's what faith I have on him. I should know, because I was like that in his age

Sable Manfredi:

Silvio Manfredi: There is no sympathy in this business, Sable. Your rule must come first… Whatever the cost

Sable Manfredi:… Peter…

St Mary Ann Hospital: Recovery Room

In the recovery room, George sits next to Gwen, who is still in a coma as, as the machines attached to her is keeping her alive. Looking at his daughter in sadness, as his wife Helen arrived and appeared in shock by the sight of her daughter

Helen Stacy: Gwen. Oh my beautiful little girl

George Stacy: Helen…

Helen Stacy: … George…

George Stacy:… Philip called. He said he's going to come home

Helen Stacy: Good… Good…

Helen rushed to her daughter's side as she sheds a tear in her eyes, as George tries to comfort her

George Stacy: She's going to be fine, Helen. It's going to be okay

Helen Stacy: Okay? Okay!? Our daughter is in a hospital bed and in a coma! How can she be okay!? If she dies!

George Stacy:

Helen Stacy:… How… How did this happen?

George Stacy:… I don't know, and I don't think we'll ever get any answers-

Helen Stacy: I heard about the attack… I thought you died in that

George Stacy: Well I'm lucky I wasn't there when it happened

Helen Stacy: That still doesn't make things any better. Especially with… this

George Stacy: Gwen will wake up. I know she will

Helen Stacy: And then what? What happens after that? Do you think she'll be safe? After everything that's happened!?

George Stacy: I'll think of something

Helen Stacy: How. Go to your super friends!?

George Stacy: Helen

Helen Stacy: You can never get away from it can you? And after all of this?

George Stacy:… I'm too involved. Especially what I've found out

Helen Stacy: Which is?

George Stacy:… There was a mole inside the NYPD

Helen Stacy: What?

George Stacy: That's how they knew where to strike. That's how they also knew about-

Helen Stacy: They had Gwen involved? Why?

George Stacy:… I don't know, but clearly… I was one of their targets. Maybe that's why

Helen Stacy:… Because of your ties with Spider-Man?

George Stacy:

Helen Stacy: How did you mixed yourself into this? Ever since Spider-Man… Why involve yourself in their world? They're not even cops or sanctioned by the government

George Stacy: No. They're not, but their help is also what prevented the worst possible outcome. And had they been government sanctioned then their help would take much longer, and it would have been too late

Helen Stacy: But why? Why involve yourself with them? Being with those… people… They would invite trouble. Especially those super villains

George Stacy:… Because these are the kind of people that just want to keep this city safe, and as a cop there are things I can't possibly do. Knowing what I'm up against I have to do my part with whatever way I can. If not then who will keep you and Gwen safe

Helen Stacy:

George Stacy: I know you don't want to hear this, but being with them has shown me that I'm part of something much bigger. And that has given me even more reason to protect this city and my family

Helen Stacy: And your life will be at risk once again. More for me to worry

George Stacy: I won't die. Not after coming this far

Helen Stacy: George

George Stacy: Something is going to happen in this city, Helen. I need to stop it before it happens

Helen Stacy:… I don't want you to die, George

George Stacy: You know me Helen. How can I?

George placed his hand on Helen's shoulder and tries to comfort her as they both look at their daughter. Fearing what will happen next

St Mary Ann Hospital: Reception

Whitney, Nico, and May are about to depart with Peter after his discharge is cleared

Peter Parker: Alright. I'm all set, but I better take it easy for a while

May Parker: You sure you don't want to stay for a while? Your injuries

Whitney Chang: He'll be fine. A wound like that won't stop him

Nico Minoru:… Got a call from Glory. Liz's family is setting up the funeral

Peter Parker:… I need to speak to Mark

Whitney Chang: Better you do it later. Today is just…

Peter Parker:… I know

Outside St Mary Ann Hospital

The four went outside as Whitney is about to part ways

Whitney Chang: Well it's time I go. You okay if I drop you guys?

May Parker: We'll be fine dear

Nico Minoru: Thanks though

Whitney Chang: Hey. You guys call me if anything happens

Peter Parker: Alright, and thank you. For everything

Whitney Chang: After everything happening so far. I should be the one to thank you, Peter. And also… I'm sorry… for your loss today

Peter Parker:

Whitney Chang: Take care of yourself

Whitney approached and gave Peter a hug as he hugs back as she left. May's phone started to ring

( Brrrrrr ) ( Brrrrrr )

May Parker: It's Doris. Can you give me a few minutes? I better take this.

Peter Parker: Sure. We'll wait

May answers the phone as she spoke privately, but suddenly Peter sees Eddie Brock standing and waiting for him. Surprising Peter as Nico wonders who it is

Nico Minoru: Who's that?

Peter Parker: It's Venom

Nico Minoru: What?

Peter Parker: You don't move. I need to speak to him

Nico Minoru: Peter. If he does something-

Peter Parker: He won't

Nico Minoru: What makes you so sure?

Peter Parker: Because I know him. Especially right now

Peter walk towards Eddie as the two stood face-to-face. Realizing it's their first time talking to each other directly since their last meeting. Now with the circumstances changed after what happened

Peter Parker:… Eddie…

Eddie Brock:… Peter…

Peter Parker:… Kinda surprised you're here

Eddie Brock: It's Gwen. Why shouldn't I?

Peter Parker:

Eddie Brock: How is she?

Peter Parker: They manage to save her, but Gwen is now sleeping. It'll be a long time until she wakes up

Eddie Brock: But she's still alive

Peter Parker:… Yeah

Eddie Brock: And what of the other matter involving her?

Peter Parker:

Eddie Brock:… You know what will happen

Peter Parker:… Eddie… A girl was made to wear her identity, and now everyone thinks it's she's Menace.

Eddie Brock:… Peter… You cannot say a single word about this. Not to anyone

Peter Parker: But Eddie-

Eddie Brock: Grrr

( Grab )

Peter Parker: Agh!

Eddie angrily grabs Peter and looks at him directly about Gwen. While Nico looked worried at the scene and was about to intervened, but Peter signals her to stop as the two continue to stare face-to-face

Peter Parker: E-Eddie

Eddie Brock: Are you fucking with me!? After everything she's been through!? Because of you!

Peter Parker: But is it really right? To let someone else suffer for something they didn't deserve?

Eddie Brock: Look who's talking. Think of how many that didn't deserve it! All the people you failed to save! You failed to save Gwen, you failed to save Mary Jane, you failed to save Liz Allan, you failed to save anyone, and just like all the people in that Vandemere Hotel you failed to save your Uncle Ben!

Peter Parker:

Eddie Brock: Over a year it has been and still you couldn't even do a damn thing right

Peter Parker:… I'm still trying

Eddie Brock: And how much of a difference have you made?

Peter Parker:

Eddie Brock:… You may not want to, and I don't know the full story of what's happen between you two, but Gwen was always the one person that has ever meant something to you, and if there's a chance that she can be saved then why not take it?

Peter Parker: You think it's easy? Try to hide all the things she did? What she did!?

Eddie Brock: And what would you say to her dad!? That her daughter is a sociopathic villain that kills people? What would you say?

Peter Parker:

Eddie Brock: Whatever happens you need to give her a chance. You need to make sure that there is a chance that she could be saved! Even if it's small you need to make sure!

Peter Parker:… Even if I could… I don't think I'll ever forgive her

Eddie Brock:… I know, but that shouldn't be a reason to stop you from trying. You don't need to be her best friend just to save her life. You save her as just another person

Peter Parker:… You really expect me to stay silent on this?

Eddie Brock: You're keeping this a secret. If there's a chance she won't remember then all the better… Don't ruin her life like this… Don't let it be her end. Don't let her end like me

Peter Parker: Eddie…

Eddie Brock: I'm begging you Peter. For one… Spare her this nightmare… Please…

Peter Parker:

Eddie released him and walks off. Leaving Peter in more doubt of what to do with Gwen as Nico rushes to him

Nico Minoru: You okay?

Peter Parker: Yeah. I'm fine

Nico Minoru: And Eddie. Is it okay to let him go?

Peter Parker: Leave him be for a while. I'm sure he has something else in his mind… We both have

Walking through the alleyway, Eddie's body started to shake as he feels the symbiote's dissatisfaction to him for not attacking Peter in his most vulnerable. Much to Eddie's dislike

Eddie Broke: Don't you dare. Don't you dare think about making any move against him. Not like this!

Bishop Manor: Living Room

Returning home, Derek Bishop his wife, Eleanor, along with his two daughters and Melissa and Brent Cunningham. Discussing about what has transpired

Derek Bishop: Everyone?

Eleanor Bishop: Derek. You're back

Derek Bishop: What's going on?

Eleanor Bishop: Something troubling has happened

Susan Bishop: One of Katie's school chum's a freaking supervillain

Derek Bishop: A supervillain?

Brent Cunningham: It's true. There was an attack in Midtown, and it was caused by a student in Hawthorne Academy

Eleanor Bishop: It was Janice Foswell

Derek Bishop: What? Isn't that girl one of Katie's friends?

Susan Bishop: She is

Melissa Cunningham: I can just imagine what she's going. To have a murderer walking the same hallways as her

Eleanor Bishop: Now we don't know that it's true

Heather Bishop: The news people says it is

Susan Bishop: Mom. That girl's the freaking supervillain that killed Spider-Man. You really think anybody'd gonna forget that? Especially this whole gang war?

Brent Cunningham: She's right. I mean look what happened to the city. If it is true then there's no doubt Hawthorn Academy will get monitored because of this

Melissa Cunningham: Oh goodness. How bad can this get?

Seeing and hearing that one of his's daughter's classmates was a supervillain has left Derek even more worried. Already dealing with his own problems dealing with the Master Planner, and has no idea how to deal with this. Leaving him completely worried for his daughter's safety

Derek Bishop: W-Where is Katherine now?

Susan Bishop: She's upstairs in her room. Since the news broke out all of her friends have been calling her

Melissa Cunningham: I wouldn't be surprised. I wonder what will

Bishop Manor: Kate's Room

In her room, Kate is on the phone with Josephine, Britney, and Priscilla about the revelation of Janice Foswell being the supervillain Menace. Still in disbelief that she would commit villainous acts, and attacked Midtown

Kate Bishop: Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Now calm down, Katie. It's not like anyone anticipated this. There has to be an explanation for this

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Explanation!? Are you shitting me Josy!?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Britney-

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): She's a fucking supervillain! We all know how much of a cunt-face bitch she is, but a supervillain!? That tops everything that bitch represents!

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): I have to agree with Britney on this. The revelation is just shocking. To think she was Menace this whole time? And in our school?

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Right!?

Kate Bishop: GUYS! Pay attention. Didn't you hear? She attacked Midtown! That's were Peter is!

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Katie

Kate Bishop: I mean. Oh god. Peter

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Katie!

Kate Bishop: What if he's hurt. What if he's somehow got caught in the crossfire?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): KATIE!

Kate Bishop:

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Are you serious? After finding out that he's a gangster?

Kate Bishop: We don't know that yet, but…

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Even if he survives would you really face him now?

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Well why shouldn't she?

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): I mean. What happened today. Wouldn't it be alright just to make sure?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Janice is the Menace isn't she? So that means she's also part of some supervillain gang, and Peter is also in a gang. This could be some gang warfare that he's a part of that got his school involved

Kate Bishop: Peter is not the kind of guy that would let this happen

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): But he is the kind that would invite trouble. Isn't he?

Kate Bishop:

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Face it, Katie. He's now a danger to you. If you get too involved with him-

Kate Bishop: If I get to involved with him… That would have been me

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Oh come on. Josy

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): For all we know he could be trying to help. I mean we still don't know the whole detail

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): And that's precisely it. We still don't know anything about him. We know he was a Bugle photographer, but is he still doing that, or is there something else? And how long has he been a gangster since Kate met him?

Britney Amber Fox (on phone):

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone):

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Let's face it. What's going on in the city right now is way beyond us. Who knows what will happen after this, but answer me this Katie. Do you really think you can believe in him now after this?

Kate Bishop:… I called Peter this morning

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): What?

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Seriously?

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): What happened?

Kate Bishop: I asked him if he's a gangster. I told him to be honest with me

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): So. What happened?

Kate Bishop:… He said he's sorry…

Britney Amber Fox (on phone):

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone):

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone):

Kate Bishop:… I didn't want to believe it. I couldn't believe it, but… That one line… confirms what I don't want to believe…

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone):… Katie

Kate Bishop: I… I can't stand it. I can't stand losing things that are important to me. Peter… Peter was the first guy I really did like. He was unlike any other guys I've dated before, and there was something really special about him. I can't put words on it because I don't know how to describe it. That's how special he is

Britney Amber Fox (on phone):… You really like him. Don't you?

Kate Bishop: I do. So why do I feel something else is going on?

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone):… Do you really believe he would lie to you without a reason?

Kate Bishop: I don't know

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): So if you don't know then wouldn't it be better to talk to him face-to-face?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Would that solve anything now after this?

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): This could be the wrong time after the Midtown attack. It may be best if Kate distance herself from him for the time being

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Finally someone made sense

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Wait. You can't be serious, right?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): We're serious if it's out of concern for our friend

Kate Bishop: You mean I should forget him?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Katie. You have your whole life ahead of you. Us. School. Your family. Even you're modeling career. Do you really want to throw it all away for just a boy? Worse, a boy who is also part of a gang? Just think about what you're risking if it ends up as a complete cluster-fuck?

Kate Bishop: Alright. I get it… But still-

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Forget him, Katie. Whatever the reason you can't just risk your own life like that if it were to end up nowhere. Or else Peter would have been honest with you to begin with

Kate Bishop:… Guys?

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): I mean. It would suck to lose a guy that interesting, but losing you would suck even more

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): I don't know. I mean. We still don't know the full details, but knowing the kind of danger he's involved himself in. Is it really a good idea to get too involved with him after this?

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Katie. For your sakes. For our sakes. For your family's sakes. Forget him

Kate Bishop:

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): Katie

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Come on girl. This won't be the first time

Kate Bishop:… Okay…

Josephine Bricklemoore (on phone): Well you better take care of yourself. Who knows what will happen in school now

Britney Amber Fox (on phone): Yeah. Better hit, and I hope it turns well for you, Katie

Priscilla Ironwood (on phone): Talk to you soon, Katie

Kate Bishop: Bye you guys. Talk to you soon

As she hangs up her phone Kate lies down on her bed. Still filled with doubt about what to do with Peter, but also felt she has been let down. As she closed her eyes she suddenly remembers a young girl she once knew, and how it felt to let her down. Looking at her phone as she brought up a picture of both her and Peter together. Feeling conflicted about what to do

Kate Bishop:… Was this a lie Peter. Of us? Or is there really something else? What else are you not telling me?

Sanctum Sanctorum: Entrance

( Ding-Dong )

As the doorbell rang, Wong opened the front entrance and sees Sun Wukong standing unhappy

( Speaking in Chinese )

Wong: [Sun?]

Sun Wukong: [… Can I come in?]

Wong: [What's wrong?]

Sanctum Sanctorum: Living Room

Sun is seen sitting inside as Wong brought him green tea as they talk about the Midtown incident

Wong: [I'm sorry to hear about that]

Sun Wukong: [… Yeah. Well this was no surprise. We were taken completely unaware where they will strike. A school is something I did not expect]

Wong: [No one has. Those poor children]

Sun Wukong: [But that's not it. The boy from Sable's group is also there]

Wong: [What?]

Sun Wukong: [Yeah. And he's still in his teens, but he stood bravely in the face of all of this madness. A part of me actually is starting to like him]

Wong: [Does that remind you of anyone?]

Sun Wukong: [… ]

Wong: [… To think it's been a while since I've heard of heroes diving into battle. Reminded me of how the Avengers was formed]

Sun Wukong: [Except that was a long time ago since then. Now with the government involved it's hard to tell who's to trust. Hell, it's not even the Avengers anymore]

Wong: [It's not even SHIELD either]

Sun Wukong: [… It's going to get out of hand now. With this they now have an excuse to get involved. Especially now with Kingsley out of the picture it'll only be a matter of time until Doctor Octopus appears with his Sinister group. That would spell trouble from this point on]

Wong:… And then… What will you do?

Sun Wukong:… Guess I'll be staying here abit longer. After all, it wouldn't be right to leave things like this. Not until the Lemurian Tablet is retrieved. An item that deadly must not be left into the wrong hands

Wong: And what of the other heroes? Including the boy?

Sun Wukong:… He's involved too deep. Guess there's only one option left for me to do

Wong:… Hm. As expected of you

Sinister Syndicate's Secret Hideout

Standing in the command room is the Wizard as Doctor Octopus and Mister Negative enter to see what has transpired

Wizard: Ah. Doctor Octopus. And Mister Negative

Mister Negative: Wizard

Doctor Octopus: What has happened here?

Wizard: It appears an attack was transpired in Midtown by Hobgoblin and his gangs. As it turns out Kingsley was found dead along with the Crime Master's brat

Doctor Octopus: Is that so

Mister Negative: With them out of the way there is now only the Manfredi family to content

Wizard: Well this is certainly an interesting development. Perhaps this will be easier than I thought

Doctor Octopus: This has certainly presented itself with an opportunity to make things easier for us.

Wizard: With the local law enforcements now with a considerable amount of losses the city is now more vulnerable for the taking

Beetle: Except there's a problem brov

Appearing in front of them is Beetle with some information

Mister Negative: Mr. Jenkins

Wizard: Who invited you here you ungrateful insect

Beetle: Calm your dick off you old geezer. You wouldn't want to lose that head of yours

Wizard: Why you-

Doctor Octopus: What problem are you talking about?

Beetle: Just got word that the Mayor is bringing in the National Guard to make up for the loss of them dead wankers in blue. Plus they're involving Manfredi's Silver Watch to boost their prowess

Doctor Octopus: Oh?

Mister Negative: That means they'll have a much larger force to content

Wizard: Even with the forces we've currently have. It will not be enough to combat this many

Beetle: And they're not the only ones. Heard the mayor is contacting members in DC for certain help to join in this party of ours. It won't be long until they show up

Mister Negative: Wait. You mean the mayor is going to-

Beetle: Yep. They'll show up in a few days time. The mayor will make her announcement soon

Mister Negative:

Wizard:

Doctor Octopus:… Well now… I guess our timetable has just advanced to the next stage. Although I wouldn't worry about it

Mister Negative: I'll contact my Inner Demons to be ready

Wizard: I think it's time to call in the others

Doctor Octopus: Yes. We better start making preparations before the new deadline hits

Mister Negative: Oh. And our new recruits are already here

Walking in the scene is Debra Whitman Scorpion, and with her is the now lifeless and vengeful Missy Kallenback. Now wearing a new bird-shape black armor with silver feather blades, silver claws, silver boots with talons, and a silver bird mask. While her hair is shown shining. Standing ready as Doctor Octopus gave her the name

Doctor Octopus: Raptor. Are you ready for your first mission?

Raptor (Missy Kallenback): Yes

Doctor Octopus: Good. And I expect good results like last from you Scorpion

Scorpion (Debra Whitman): I will not fail

Doctor Octopus: Then let us proceed. For the Sinister Syndicate's grand entrance

With the preparations now advancing, the others begin preparations. With Beetle secretly appearing quite please. Knowing the plan is moving ahead. But unknown to him, Scorpion notice something suspicious about him

Next morning

Bishop Manor: Kate's Room

Seen in her room, Kate is seen combing her hair as she's about to go to school, but as she looks at herself in the mirror she reflect on what has happened since yesterday and the damage that has been done. Trying to reassure herself to make it through the day

Kate Bishop:… Come on… You have a shitty day yesterday, but that's no reason to let yourself go down like that. Just… Just focus on school, focus on your modeling career, focus on your friends, focus on your family, and most importantly focus on Susan's wedding. You shouldn't be worried about… about… Peter… Oh Peter

Being reminded once more of Peter and what has happened in Midtown. Leaving her feeling upset. Still worried about Peter as Kate picks up her phone and attempts to call him, but stopped herself as she shouldn't get involved with him any further. Feeling that she might get herself and her family in danger if Peter's affirmation as a gangster is true, but also feels she shouldn't abandon him since he has always cared for her. Leaving Kate conflicted about what to do

Kate Bishop:… I can't….I want to speak to him, but… I can't… I can't… I… can't…

Parker House: Bathroom

Early in the morning, Peter is seen washing his face as he refresh himself, but as he looked at himself through the mirror he suddenly remembers the death of Mary Jane and Liz Allen. Both girls he cared for and both have confess to him. Feeling a sense of anguish knowing that they are both death, and worst for him to feel is by the hands of his first love, Gwen Stacy

Peter Parker:… Gwen… why Gwen? Why!? WHY!?

Peter Parker: Huh?

Angrily slamming his fists on the wall in deep frustration. Which caused him to make a hole on the wall, as Peter realizes it. However, his mind is still thinking about Gwen and the choices he has made so far to this point. Looking at himself in the mirror

Peter Parker:… I only wanted to protect you… From me… I just don't want you… To be a part of this… To be a part of anything… Why… Why you got yourself into this…? Why…?

While in his thoughts, Peter turns and sees a small spider outside the bathroom window. Looking at it has made Peter clear of thought as he thinks about Madam Web. Realizing there some answers he needs to get

Bishop Manor: Dining Room

Sitting on the table with the whole family eating breakfast, but many are left wondering about yesterday's incident as they turn to Kate who's eating breakfast as she's starting to notice the stares from her family

Kate Bishop:

Derek Bishop:

Eleanor Bishop:

Susan Bishop:

Heather Bishop:

Kate Bishop:… Seriously you guys? Are we seriously playing this game right now?

Eleanor Bishop: Katherine sweetie-

Derek Bishop: We think its best that you stay home for today

Kate Bishop: Oh great. Now this

Susan Bishop: Katie. One of your friends is a freaking supervillain and there's going to be some unwanted attention surrounding your school

Kate Bishop: First of all, Janice and I stopped being friends. Second, that shouldn't be a reason I can't go to school. Hell, I have homework to hand over

Heather Bishop: Lucky I don't have homework to pass on. I can stay her and watch TV all day

Kate Bishop: Well lucky you, but I still can't ditch today

Eleanor Bishop: Katherine. We just want you to be safe and we're just concerned that something can go wrong

Susan Bishop: And with these recent gang attacks we don't want you in any crossfire if a supervillain shows up

Kate Bishop: Well that's not going to happen, and I know that because I'm stupid enough to get myself in a situation like that. And besides, Janice is in jail, and the other supervillains she's with is either gone or dead or worse

Eleanor Bishop: Katherine

Susan Bishop: Look sis. There's no shame of a good attendance record, but they're going to be some camera eyes stalking the place. And that will be tricky if they somehow find a connection to you and Janice. Especially last year with-

Eleanor Bishop: Susan!

Kate Bishop:

Susan Bishop: K-Katie. I'm sorry. I-

Kate Bishop: It's okay… In fact it's time for me to go

Susan Bishop: Katie

Eleanor Bishop: Katherine

Derek Bishop: Katherine Bishop

Kate Bishop:

Derek Bishop:… There comes a time when you have to deal with the responsibility through your actions. Whether it's simple or difficult you still move ahead with the choices you've made. Be ready for anything, including the worst, but also… Be true to yourself. Remember that

Kate Bishop:… Thanks dad

As she picks up her bag and heads off to school, the rest of the family looked on worried for her. While Derek thinks about what to do about his ties with Master Planner while thinking about how to better protect his family. Looking at his phone thinking what to do

Eleanor Bishop: Is anything wrong dear?

Derek Bishop:… It's nothing Eleanor. Nothing at all

Parker House: Downstairs

Fully dressed, Peter went downstairs and sees that both his Aunt May and Nico not at home as a message was left on the table with food. Letting him know that Nico is out and Aunt May is heading to the Watson's house. Leaving him alone by himself

Peter Parker: So they went out without me… Great… Just… great…

Feeling not too happy about this as Peter placed his hand on his wound as he feels it slowly recovering. Until suddenly he hears a doorbell ringing

( Ding-Dong )

Peter Parker: Huh? Who's this?

Peter walks towards the front door and opens. Only to be surprised by the sight of Sun Wukong, with his limo parked outside his house

Sun Wukong: Hello, Peter Parker

Peter Parker: W-Wukong?

Sun Wukong: Please Peter. Call me Sun. We're going to be friends now

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong: You going out?

Peter Parker: I'm about to be

Sun Wukong: Then come with me. I think the two of us should talk

Peter Parker: Why should I?

Sun Wukong: Oh come on, Peter. I did came to you in good faith hoping we'd have a man-to-man talk

Peter Parker: Early in the morning. In front of my house?

Sun Wukong: Like I said. I would like to have a man-to-man talk, and after what is happening right now it's important that we talk. After all, we are comrades-in-arms. Now that we know of each other's identities

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong: Shall we?

With no choice, Peter walked towards the limo as he and Wukong got in and drove off

St Mary Ann's Hospital: Yuri Watanabe's Ward

Yuri is seen on her bed looking at the window next to her, as George Stacy appeared to see her

Yuri Watanabe: G-George

George Stacy: Yuri. Glad to see you're doing well

Yuri Watanabe: Well I take most beatings better than anyone

George Stacy: I wish. You've never been good at that

Yuri Watanabe: This isn't the old days George. I've gotten better since then

George Stacy: But I still worry about you. Hell, even Frank was worried for you more

Yuri Watanabe:… Yeah. He coming anytime soon?

George Stacy: He'll come this afternoon. Gotta sort what's left of the force after what happened

Yuri Watanabe: And your daughter?

George Stacy: Still in a coma. Helen hasn't even left her side

Yuri Watanabe: Like a good mother should. What about the other one?

George Stacy:… Coming back from London. He was pretty shocked after hearing what happened to Gwen

Yuri Watanabe: He should be. Like a good brother should

George Stacy:

Yuri Watanabe:… When's the funeral?

George Stacy: Two days. They have to make arrangements first

Yuri Watanabe: Probably Mayor Waters wanting to look sympathetic to the victims just for her approval ratings

George Stacy: You really believe she would do something like that?

Yuri Watanabe:

George Stacy:… Yeah. Maybe she will do that

George picks up a chair and sits next to Yuri. Wanting some answers from her

Yuri Watanabe:

George Stacy:… So tell me. When did you became this "Wraith"

Yuri Watanabe: I was wondering when you're going to bring that up

George Stacy:

Yuri Watanabe:… It started over 10 years back. Involving a string of murders that have been witnessing across the streets. Back when things are still shit as normal, but this was different. I investigated these murders and I found that all of them were employees of "Dixon Solution"

George Stacy: Dixon Solution. You mean?

Yuri Watanabe: The Serpent Society. Yeah. I've been investigating all of the employees and I found that something's been going on in that place. One employee even invited me to his family home. Met his wife and daughter. He showed me that something shady is going on in that company, and he also found that some people are missing. Before he could tell me everything the Serpent Society attacked us and were about to kill him. That's where I met the Defenders. Daredevil was there to back me up. Turns out I wasn't the only one that was investigating the "Dixon Solution" case. According to them a couple of people were missing in the streets, and all of them had ties to Dixon Solution. I manage to get the information, but that's when the man and his family was killed right in front of me. After they escape I watched the bodies of the people I've failed to protect, but the information I've got would expose the connection between the Dixon Solution case and the Serpent Society's involvement. Except the cops forbid me to do so since Dixon Solutions already has political ties, and that includes ties to the commissioner. I was frustrated because the death of that man and his family would have accounted to nothing. I had to do something. That's when the Defenders appeared. I gave them the information and they were ready to take Dixon Solution down, and I wanted to join in, but they told me not to. Because I'm a cop that we have to play by different rules. I didn't accept that, because I was already involved with this case and I don't want it to end like this. Lucky for me I know what kind of tools I needed. Since the Avengers have been putting away a large number of supervillains their tech always end up in one place. The Yardale Storage has all of that, and I manage to get a couple of them

George Stacy: I read about that, and they say not everyone can get access to it. How'd you manage?

Yuri Watanabe:… I broke in and I stole them

George Stacy:

Yuri Watanabe: It was important and I needed them

George Stacy: You stole tech from a storage facility run by the city's law enforcement agencies?

Yuri Watanabe: You're working with vigilantes that operate outside the law. How is that any different?

George Stacy:

Yuri Watanabe: Anyway, with the gears in my possession I manage to modify them, and the Wraith was born. I broke into Dixon's Solution, and what I found shocked me to the core. You already know what that is from the reports

George Stacy: Dixon's experimentation on people. Mainly people from the streets looking to earn some money, but most of them died from it

Yuri Watanabe: They were trying to experiment on people for their new drug, and the people that were killed by the Serpent Society was part of it and were trying to expose everything. Even worse, the CEO of Dixon Solution, Jordan Dixon, is the leader of the Serpent Society. I fought against them using the tech I stole and try to fight back, but it was no use. I was in a different league, and I was going to be killed for it, but thankfully the Defenders showed up and put a stop to it. They brought down Jordan Dixon and exposed everything. This removed another part of corruption from the city, and things were starting to change for the better

George Stacy: If that's the case then why would you still continue this? I thought you would be done after this

Yuri Watanabe:

George Stacy: Yuri?

Yuri Watanabe:… I… wanted to give it up. That was I intended, but… things happened for a reason. Mine… involves something important

George Stacy: What is?

Yuri Watanabe:… Best if we don't discuss it any further. Maybe later?

George Stacy:… Okay. Whenever you feel like it

Yuri Watanabe: Thank you…

George Stacy:… It's good to see you're alright. Hope to see you standing soon

Yuri Watanabe: I'll get up when I need to, but until then you're gonna have to fill in for me

George Stacy: What?

Yuri Watanabe: The Defenders need a level head person to keep them in check, and you're the best person for the job

George Stacy:… I'm not a superhero

Yuri Watanabe: You don't need to be. You're a good cop that wants to help everybody. That's more then enough. Just make sure you don't get killed

George Stacy: I won't

Yuri Watanabe: Good. Now go. You got a city to protect

George Stacy: Heh. Alright. Take care of yourself

Yuri Watanabe: Enjoy

Hawthorne Academy: Front Entrance

Arriving at school, Kate sees the place completely filled with vans from major news outlets and police cars on the scene, as a crowd of journalist are seen surrounding the entrance as they interview a number of students to get anything on Janice Foswell. With one Teacher, Lydia Daker, attempting to calm the situation

KSTB News Reporter: What do you know about Janice Foswell!

Fact Channel Reporter: What does she eat!?

Channel 5 News Reporter: Did you notice anything suspicious about her?

Hawthorne Academy Female Student 1: I-I-

Hawthorne Academy Female Student 2: We're… not that close an all-

Lydia Daker: Alright that is enough. I know you want answers, but I can assure you we'll have the full details once the police is done with their investigation

Seeing this happen in her school, Kate quietly but quickly goes inside, but was spotted by one of the reporters who recognize her

Channel 5 News Reporter: Look! Katherine Bishop!

Kate Bishop: Oh shit

Fact Channel Reporter: Katherine Bishop!

Many of the reporters run towards Kate as they surround her with questions about Janice. With Lydia attempting to break up the situation as the head teacher appeared on the scene and saw what happened

KSTB News Reporter: Katherine Bishop! Were you aware of any suspicious behavior involving Janice Foswell!?

Fact Channel Reporter: How close were you before this incident!?

VTV Reporter: Does it have anything to do with your recent modeling career!?

Kate Bishop: Leave me alone!

Lydia Daker: Alright! That is enough! Leave the poor girl be!

Margret Handral: WHAT IS THE COMMOTION HERE!

Approaching the scene and confronting the reporters is Hawthorne Academy's Head Teacher, Margret Handral, who confronted the reporters as they are bothering Kate Bishop

Margret Handral: Alright! Enough of this! I will not allow one of my students being harassed like this!

VTV Reporter: But we just want answers

Fact Channel Reporter: And it is well known that Katherine Bishop has some ties to her before

Margret Handral: The police is still investigating the possible motive of Janice Foswell and they are interviewing possible suspects to find any connections as to what lead her into becoming this super villain

KSTB News Reporter: But will that be enough? A lot of people were killed by her, and that includes Spider-Man

Channel 5 News Reporter: Which also caused this entire incident to begin with

VTV Reporter: I mean how did the school not suspect anything of her behavior?

Margret Handral: Hawthorne Academy is one of the most prestigious schools in the entire country. Many of its greatest political figures, stars, innovators, and so on have been produced here. We cannot expect to keep an eye out on every students in the entire campus just because they're trying to focus on their studies. Or else that would be equivalent to profiling and that will not be allowed in this place of education. This is a place of learning, not a place of spying

Fact Channel Reporter: But the details and reports about Janice as the supervillain Menace-

Margret Handral: That you will have to ask the police here after they are done with the investigation. When they're finish with their report then they will answer your questions. So until then. Stop harassing my students. Lydia, take Ms. Bishop inside

Lydia Daker: Come Ms. Bishop. I'll get you out of here

Kate Bishop: Thanks

Lydia took Kate away from the reporters and inside the school from the numbers of reporters while left wondering how Janice could have become Menace

Kate Bishop: I don't get it

Lydia Daker: I know it's hard for you to understand the situation. Believe me, this is the first time something like this has happened before

Kate Bishop: No. I mean Janice is many things, but I don't think she would be even capable of something like this

Lydia Daker: We may think like that about a person, but there are secrets even we don't know what they're truly capable off

Kate Bishop:

Hawthorne Academy: Hallway

Inside, Kate walks to the hall and sees the students appearing quite surprised and shocked after hearing about the revelation of Janice as Menace, with the police been seen collecting stuff of importance from Janice's locker. Even people that knew her were left surprised by it, as Kate met up with her friends

Josephine Bricklemoore: Katie

Britney Amber Fox: Glad you made it

Kate Bishop: Hey guys. Glad to see you guys now

Priscilla Ironwood: I saw what happened outside. You alright?

Kate Bishop: Barely. Lucky Mrs. Handral was there. The reporters out there are vultures

Britney Amber Fox: Well I have experience on that. Just cover your face and keep running

Josephine Bricklemoore: That's your answer to everything

Joseph Bricklemoore: Prissy. Guys

Tom Coast: Hey babe. Guys

Aaron Natz: Good to see you guys again

Joseph, Aaron, and Tom met with the girls as they see the cops taking Janice's stuff away. Discussing what is now going on in the school

Tom Coast: Well. I've seen a lot of bad press, but this tops it

Aaron Natz: I know. Still couldn't believe it. Janice Foswell is Menace?

Britney Amber Fox: Well… she is a bitch. Though that would be our first clue

Josephine Bricklemoore: I still don't get it though. How and why would Janice do such a thing?

Joseph Bricklemoore: Would that even matter. After everything she did

Kate Bishop: What do you mean?

Joseph Bricklemoore: I just found out that her dad was killed. Same place they arrested Janice

Priscilla Ironwood: Oh my god

Aaron Natz: Yeah. I freaked out about that too

Britney Amber Fox: Holy shit. Her own dad? Are you kidding me?

Priscilla Ironwood: Katie. You know her well before. Do you really thing she would be capable of something like this?

Kate Bishop:… I really don't know. To be honest I was still shocked about this. I didn't think she would be even capable of something like this

Suddenly speaking on speaker is the academy's head master Margret Handral as she informs the students to head to the assembly hall

Margret Handral (speaker): To all students of Hawthorn Academy. This is your head master speaking. As you've already know of what has happened and the situation that's been going on I'm calling on all students to head to the assembly hall for an emergency announcement. I will repeat that. All students must head to the assembly hall for an emergency meeting now. That is all

With the announcement made, all the students in Hawthorne Academy head to the assembly hall

Tom Coast: Well let's go. Don't want to miss what's going on

Britney Amber Fox: Right behind you

Josephine Bricklemoore: Damn this sucks

Kate Bishop:

Joseph Bricklemoore: You alright Katie?

Kate Bishop:… Yeah… Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go

The Wake Night Club: Outside

Arriving at their location, the limo stopped in front of the entrance as Peter and Sun got out

Peter Parker: What are we doing here?

Sun Wukong: I figured if we're going to talk then it wouldn't help without us getting some refreshments

Peter Parker: It's still morning, and I'm underage. I can't drink

Sun Wukong: Then you'll love the club's lemon tonic. That will deliver a kick to your face

Peter Parker: You're kidding me. Right?

Sun Wukong: Come Peter. I figured two well-known heroes like us could have a proper conversation once in a while

Peter Parker: You're kidding me?

Sun Wukong: Take a risk, Peter. You only live once

Peter Parker:

The Wake Night Club: Clubroom Floor

Peter and Sun entered the clubroom floor, as the place is still partly empty with some customers in the club's bar, as they are approached by Benny, who seems to know Sun well

Benny: M-Mr. Wukong?

Sun Wukong: Hello Benny. I see you're doing well

Benny: Yes. And Mr. Parker. It's good to see you again

Peter Parker: Hey

Benny: And Mr. Wukong. About what happened-

Sun Wukong: You changed your mind and come back to us. Don't worry about it. Besides, you're going to hand this place over to the new owners aren't you?

Peter Parker: New owner?

Benny: Yes. I've decided to retire and move back to Hong Kong. I feel its best that I hand this place over to a more capable hand. Especially with what happened yesterday

Peter Parker: Oh… Yeah

Sun Wukong: So then. The new owner?

Benny: He'll be arriving soon, but now that you're both here is there anything you both like? It's on the house

Sun Wukong: A glass of your strongest whiskey with ice for me and a lemon tonic for him. Have it delivered in the private suite

Benny: Right away

El Alaoui House: Kitchen Dining Room

Sitting on the table is Carmen and his parents as they are quietly seen eating breakfast, but eats only a portion of it as he appears slightly ill and stops eating.

Carmen E l Alaoui :… I'm full

Malik El Alaoui: What?

Hafiz El Alaoui: But you've only eaten a little bit

Carmen E l Alaoui : I'm fine. I'm just… going to my room

Carmen gets up and leaves the table, while his parents are noticing something is wrong with him

Hafiz El Alaoui: Carmen

Carmen El Alaoui: Yeah?

Hafiz El Alaoui: Are you alright?

Carmen E l Alaoui : I'm fine. Why?

Malik El Alaoui: You're sweating, and your skin looks pale

Carmen E l Alaoui :… I'm fine. I'm just… feeling tired

Hafiz El Alaoui: Should we take you to the doctor?

Carmen E l Alaoui : No. No doctors. I'm okay. I just need some rest that's all

Hafiz El Alaoui: Carmen?

Carmen left the kitchen and head upstairs, while Malik and Hafiz are still left concerned

Malik El Alaoui: He's going to need some time. Especially what has happened yesterday

Hafiz El Alaoui: He should see a doctor. Maybe he's scared or traumatized

Malik El Alaoui: Hafiz. What can we do for him? After everything that has happened, some space is what he needs

Hafiz El Alaoui:

El Alaoui House: Carmen's Room

Carmen E l Alaoui : *cough* … *cough**cough**cough* Agh!

Entering his room, Carmen started to cough hard as he struggles to walk straight until he landed on his bed. Grabbing his chest as he felt hard to breath and feeling completely weak

Carmen E l Alaoui : G-God… W-W-What's… happening… to me… I… I…

Hawthorne Academy: Assembly Hall

Inside the assembly hall, a large numbers of students and teachers are seen as the Academy's Head Master, Margret Handral, stands on the podium and speaks to the rest of them about what transpired

Margret Handral: Alright everyone. Please remain silent. I understand that all of you have heard what has occurred yesterday involving Janice Foswell as the supervillain Menace. Like all of you we were surprised by this revelation and the crimes that were committed by her. As to why she did it is still unknown. However, the police are still investigating the matter of further gang involvement, but as of right now the academy is under observation. This has caused some concerns and a number of your families have called me about it, and so until we can be sure we've decided starting next week only the academy will be closed, and today we've also decided that we will end in a half-day. Now make no mistake. This is not some vacation you'll be having when this whole gang war ends. This will last for only a week and the academy will resume as normal, but also know that if this gang war still continue stay away from the city until proper security measures are announced. The Mayor of New York will announcing this soon, and so I ask you all to contact your family to pick you up and head straight home. It is still unknown how this situation will develop, but remember to stay safe and secure, and more importantly stay away from danger. That is all.

With Margret finishing her announcement the students left the assembly hall with mixed feeling as to what will happen now

Hawthorne Academy: Hallway (Outside Assembly Hall)

Many of the students walk out, with Kate and her friends discussing what has occurred

Josephine Bricklemoore: Well that sucked

Britney Amber Fox: On the plus side we have a half day today, and a whole week off

Tom Coast: I'd take that

Joseph Bricklemoore: But this gang war I still going on. Would it get worse?

Aaron Natz: Good point. I mean with Janice turning out to be a supervillain how bad can it be?

Josephine Bricklemoore: God damn. I still can't believe it

Kate Bishop: I know. What would even happen?

Priscilla Ironwood: If that wasn't bad enough. That girl from the prom incident never showed up in class

Josephine Bricklemoore: Really?

Britney Amber Fox: She hasn't shown up?

Kate Bishop: Who?

Priscilla Ironwood: Missanda Kallenback

Kate Bishop: What? When?

Amy Powell: NO! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!

Among the crowds of distraught students are friends with Janice Foswell. Amy Powell and Edna Blackquill. With Amy refusing to believe what she heard

Edna Blackquill: Amy

Amy Powell: No! There's no way in hell Janice is a fucking supervillain! It! IT CAN'T BE! It can't-

Amy turns and sees Kate Bishop standing. Approaching her in anger, while her friends defend her

Amy Powell: YOU!

Kate Bishop: Huh?

Amy Powell: THIS IS YOUR FAULT! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!

Josephine Bricklemoore: Hey hold on. You can't blame her like this

Britney Amber Fox: Yeah. It's not her fault that Janice became a bitch-face supervillain. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised by it

Amy Powell: FUCK YOU!

Edna Blackquill: Amy. That's enough-

Amy Powell: WHY YOU! NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS TO YOU, BUT EVERYTHING BAD ALWAYS HAPPENS TO EVRYONE AROUND YOU! JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!

Kate Bishop: Janice was the one that brought this on herself. We all know what she's like

Josephine Bricklemoore: Yeah. For all we know she could have very well have been a villain from the beginning

Amy Powell: NO! SHE NEVER WAS! I KNOW THAT! BUT IF SHE DID IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN!

Edna Blackquill: Amy. That's enough. Let's go

Amy Powell: THIS ISN'T OVER KATHERINE BISHOP!

Both Amy and Edna walked away, while Kate's friends looked at her as she appears quite distraught after being reminded of the name Malin

Kate Bishop:

Priscilla Ironwood: Katie?

Britney Amber Fox: You alright girl?

Kate Bishop:… Excuse me

Kate walks off in silence, while her friends looked at her worried

The Wake Night Club: Private Quarters

Inside the private quarters of the nightclub as Peter stood on the balcony overlooking the city, Sun Wukong sits on a couch as their drinks arrived. Sun approached and handed Peter a glass of lemon tonic

Sun Wukong: Here. This stuff is pretty tangy, but gives a nice kick. Try it

Peter Parker:… Okay

While wary, Peter grabs the glass and drinks it. Only to find the taste strange and bitter

Peter Parker: Aak… Damn

Sun Wukong: Heheheh. You like it?

Peter Parker: It's bitter

Sun Wukong: The taste is pretty strong, but you'll get used to it

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong:… Tai Xian Li

Peter Parker: What?

Sun Wukong: That's my name. My real name. My family were originally from a fishing village before they moved into the city. They don't have much money to buy a big house, and so they bought a place in the Sham Shui Po District. That's where I was born

Peter Parker: Must be pretty nice

Sun Wukong: Actually it's one of the most poorest areas in all of Hong Kong. The apartment was so small it was only meant for one person. Even our living room is also a kitchen and bedroom

Peter Parker: Whoa

Sun Wukong: Yeah. But it's not so bad. Hell it could have been worse, but we try to manage things and hope for the best. My father even got a job as a janitor in some fancy building, but he has to wake up early in the morning to take the train there, while my mother was at home raising me. Doing the best they can to give me a childhood while living in that cranked up neighborhood. Earning money was pretty hard, which is why my father had to work overtime to earn some extra money. We couldn't even afford a car. It was at the age of 3 that my mother also started working after finding me a nursery to put me in. She worked as a dishwasher. Working as much as they can to earn as much. Maybe they would like to move out of that place and into a neighborhood that actually has more space for me to run around. At age 8 they did exactly that when we moved into the Tai Hang district. Got a new apartment with more space, and I got myself my own room. It's also slightly easier for my father to travel and sleep well since his place of work is an hour away by train. He even bought a scooter. It wasn't a car, but its close enough. My childhood was fine that I was actually having some time with my friends, until we were bullied by some gang called the 87k. Turns out the area I was in was their turf, and at the age of 10 a friend of mine was in trouble by the same gang and I try to help him out. Only it was stupid and I was about to get killed myself, but that moment also changed my life forever

Peter Parker: And that is?

Sun Wukong: "Jīn xiānfēng". The Golden Vanguard, or a faction of it called the "Old Prosperity". A group of them showed up and took on the 87k head on. Turn out they've been going on their turf and causing trouble. They were there to take it back, while me and my friend was at the crossfire. Luckily one of them saved us and we got out. After that my life suddenly went back to normal, except I found out my parents are behind in their loan payments, and worse my own father suddenly got ill as his body couldn't take much more. His place of work even forced him to take a couple of days off, but he wouldn't get much pay from it. That also placed the burden on my mother to work overtime, but even she couldn't handle it. One day I went straight home from school wondering how I could ease their burden. I'm not old enough, but at least I could do something. That's when I met the same gang member that saved me. I spoke to him. We talked about it. He tried to offer me money, but I asked him if there's a job I could take. Something I could earn money to help my family. He was hesitant because I could see on his face that he didn't want a kid like me to be a gangster, but my mind was made up and nothing he could do that would change my decision. I need the money to help my family and I was willing to do whatever it takes. On that he took me to their base of operation, the Golden Koi restaurant. He took me to his boss and he vouch for me. The Old Prosperity boss got me some few odd jobs and I was earning myself a good amount of money. When I told my parents that I got a part-time job at a restaurant they were concerned that it would interrupt my studies, but I told them it's just only a few ours and that I could also study in my spare time. I even showed them the amount of money I made to help them with their debt. They made their payments on time, but they still don't like that I'm working and not studying. Because it's mainly them that does the hard lifting and so that I wouldn't bare much of the burden, but my dad was sick to go to work, and my mom couldn't handle much pressure. A couple of months we manage to pay off half of our debts plus interest and my dad was getting better enough to go to work again, but I still kept my job and I continue working. And the guy that took me in wanted me to focus on my studies while he convinces some of his guys to take some of the load from me while I focus on school work. He said you can make a difference with a pen rather than a gun

Peter Parker: Sounds like he was looking out for you

Sun Wukong: He did. Hell, he became like an older brother to me. Been working my way up and I became part of Old Prosperity. Made some extra money on the way and my father's health is starting to get better. Lessen the load off my mother. At the age of 14 we've manage to pay off our debts and plan to save the remaining of our money for a new house. Something with even more space, and maybe a vacation. The thing is I could have left the gang no problem, but with the money I'm getting I chose to stay on. Hell, I even had fun doing it. That was until one wedding happen

Peter Parker: A wedding?

Sun Wukong: Yeah. Our boss was getting married to his long-term girlfriend, and he was planning on retiring. That was until 87k showed up and murdered pretty much anyone they come across. Not even kids survived that day. Many of us had to fight back to save the boss and his wife. Except we were too late. Even worse our Jīn xiānfēng chairman Father Po was injured as the man that mentored me was trying to save him. And worse, I did the one thing I was never capable off. I picked up a gun and took a life with my own bare hands

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong: I was scared. I was terrified, but I knew I had to do something. We manage to get out, but failed to save our boss or anyone for that matter. Worse, our chairman died in the process. With everything going to shit we expect a gang war brewing, and it did. A lot of people died, including some of our friends, and I had to do things I never thought I was capable off. But I soldiered on fight the good fight. One day me and mentor was trying to get but when we got in trouble as a group of 87k's surround us the unexpected happened. A group of cops showed up and helped us

Peter Parker: Really?

Sun Wukong: Yeah. I was surprised that they would help a couple of gangsters like us. Until I found out my mentor was a cop himself. Been working undercover since the beginning. Turns out he's been doing this for years now. Became something of a expert

Peter Parker: Wow. That's-

Sun Wukong: Pretty much what you're doing right now

Peter Parker:… Yeah

Sun Wukong: So anyway, I confronted him about it. Accusing him of lying to me, and that everything we've been doing was just to screw with us, but he looked at me straight as he tries to calm me down and looked at me straight. Even though he's undercover he's still a gangster, but what made him stood out is this. His principles. If you're capable of doing good then you should do good. Either as a cop or as a gangster. Whatever opportunity you see to help those in need then take it. I guess he saw the advantage of being both a cop and a gangster. If you don't abandon your principles then you have the opportunity to make a real difference. Not just for yourself but for the people that are important to you. After facing against the 87k's boss, Big Smile Lee, it was over. We won the gang war, but things really changed for us. And after everything that has happened I came to the conclusion that maybe it's not all that it cracks up to be. Originally I wanted to do this for the money to help my parents, but really the only real reason I stayed as long as I could was because… I wanted to get away from them.

Peter Parker: Why?

Sun Wukong: Because I felt exhausted just being with them. All the pressure. The feeling of suffocation. To see my own parents like that. It felt like an environment of guilt was building on me. Truth be told, being with them depresses me. I don't hate them for doing what they did, but just once I want to feel free from all that. All the responsibility. All the body-aching hard work. For me to feel so afraid of what would happen to them, and just think over and over of what would happen. And not get a real good night sleep. It felt like I was choking to death. Worse. Seeing them like that made me even more helpless and pathetic. I don't even know what to expect anymore. It almost felt like they were guilt-tripping me to feel bad for them

Peter Parker: Your parents did all that just to give you a real childhood. They don't want you getting involved in that

Sun Wukong: And yet it made me feel useless. I couldn't even do anything like that

Peter Parker: So what happened next with you?

Sun Wukong: After the gang war and my mentor leaving, it felt like I had to leave too. My parents worried so much that they want to make sure I'm kept safe. After that I started to focus on my school work that I decided to do business studies. Figured it would come in handy if I did decide to come back, and after what my mentor did I felt like it was his own way of teaching me. Maybe turn the organization into something that could help others like me and my family. I had to try use whatever advantage I can get to do that, as both a gangster and a businessman. I manage to pass my business degree and was offered a scholarship and a spot in Hong Kong's most prestigious Business Schools. You should have seen the look on my parents face when I got that

Peter Parker: They must be pretty proud of you for getting that

Sun Wukong: They are, and honestly. I'm actually glad I made those decisions. Because they led me to the path I'm in. Which bring me to my other part of the origin story

Peter Parker: How you became Sun Wukong

Sun Wukong: Yeah… And all because of this

Holding in his hand is a red-and-gold piece of metal as it transforms into a long red-and-gold staff with ancient Chinese languages and markings. Surprising Peter as he recognize it from the fight yesterday

Peter Parker: That staff. From yesterday

Sun Wukong: Yep. The Ruyi Jingu Bang. Originally belonging to the original Monkey King himself, this staff made me what I am today

Peter Parker: The original Monkey King?

Sun Wukong: It was during my trip with my friends in college, with one of them wanting to go to places that all the old Chinese Stories took place. We went through a couple of them, and honestly, we did enjoy ourselves, until we reached Wudang Shan Mountains. North-West of Hubei Province. What's special about that place is a certain story involving the Monkey King. A part of me felt excited about it. Until I fell into a cave and I couldn't get out. It sucked and I tried to find my way out, but that's when I come across an ancient Chinese palace. Out of curiosity I went in, but that often comes with booby traps

Peter Parker: Heh. Very Indiana Jones

Sun Wukong: Hahah. Yeah it is. Luckily I made it through thanks to my training with my mentor, and in the throne room was the very thing I never thought would have existed. The Ruyi Jingu Bang. The staff that was once wield by the Monkey King himself. I remember that day when I first touched it. The stories it held. It was the real thing, but that's when the palace came alive and I encountered the spirt of the Monkey King himself. I know it sounded ridiculous

Peter Parker: No. I get it. The magic stuff. I know a person who does that

Sun Wukong: Really? You mean Doctor Strange?

Peter Parker: Don't know who that is. I was referring to someone else

Sun Wukong: Oh

Peter Parker: Who's Doctor Strange?

Sun Wukong: A different story for another time, but let me get back to my most awesome origin story here

Peter Parker: Heh. Good one

Sun Wukong: Anyway, the first time I met the Monkey King I had so many things in my mind that I want to figure out. Until he called me a scrawny, foolish, weak in the head buffoon. That annoyed me. However, I did gain the respect of the Monkey King and offered to test my soul to see if I am worthy enough to become his successor. If I succeed in his test then I gained The Ruyi Jingu Bang for myself as well as gaining his powers and his name, but if I fail my soul will be cast down into the world of torment called "The Eighth City" to burn for eternity

Peter Parker: So? What happened?

Sun Wukong: I'm holding the staff, and I'm still standing more handsome then ever. Nuff said. After I got my powers I decided to rejoin the "Jīn xiānfēng" and changed my name to Sun Wukong. And ever since I became chairman I had to make a lot of changes to make the organization have a real purpose. I've bought businesses and I often hire people from the streets to work there. Earning money for themselves. Buy food for themselves. And even have a place for themselves. Since then I've made more money in businesses, exports, properties, and so on. We removed things that we don't really need any more like prostitution, weapons and drugs. What we've done is pure business that I use to help those in need to get back in their feet, and as the monkey King I patrol all of Hong Kong to ensure no evil shall dare taint my city. A Good Samaritan Kingpin by day and a handsome crime-fighting hero by night. It's as my mentor said. As long as you don't abandon your principles and stay true you can do good as both a criminal and as a hero. Justice is two-face. Always a grey. It's how you do it that counts.

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong: I don't know how you got into this hero business, but I can tell that there's a reason for it. And it sucks that it happened to your school

Peter Parker:… I often wondered if I could have done better

Sun Wukong: You did the best you could, and you better take it from someone that actually has experience on that. The only question is will you learn from it and get better at it?

Peter Parker: How can I? It' seems all I ever do is mess things up

Sun Wukong: That's why you need to get better. To learn better. You can't just jump in without thinking about it. There are certain situation that needs attention. It's how you approach it that needs to matter

Peter Parker: And if I don't?

Sun Wukong: Then you need to keep trying until you get it right. It'll be hard, but you need to

Peter Parker:… Sun. I don't know how. I maybe good at other things, but when it comes to something like this I don't even know what I'm even doing

Sun Wukong: How many people you think have that same problem? Besides, all people are idiots. They may say they know stuff, but really they end up full of shit. What can you expect from that?

Peter Parker: Two of my best friends are dead. One of them is in hospital, and god knows how many got killed at my school. This was the main reason why I push them away

Sun Wukong: And that's also the reason why you failed. Just because you push them away doesn't always mean they'll be safe. How can you even know they will be safe if you don't have important people in your life?

Peter Parker: What good will that do? Whatever I do I always get them in trouble. How can I go to my fullest if I put them in danger?

Sun Wukong: Because you're already at your fullest when you have them

Peter Parker: What?

Sun Wukong: Tell me. What is the one thing a man wants? The one thing that makes you want to fight for it. Even if it means if you have to kill to do it?

Peter Parker: Money. Power. Ego. Just wanting to prove who is better

Sun Wukong: That is true, but that only applies to villains. I meant those that never did any of those. The ones that never committed any crime. What does it take for a good man to kill?

Peter Parker:… Family

Sun Wukong: Exactly. Family is what made good people do bad things. Not because they want to but because there are no other options. If you are unable to care for your family and no one is out there to help you then what other option is left? Family serves as a good man's strength, but it can also serves as its weakness. They leave you vulnerable and they can be taken advantage. Something only bad people would know. However, that also fuels determination. The desire to do whatever it takes. You say you push your friends away just for them to be safe, but really you're just using that as an excuse just to shield yourself from them. In other word, you're running away. Unable to own up to the responsibility or have the courage to confront the problem head on. I know it's a problem for you, but you just can't abandon the people you give a damn about. Or else what is even the point of doing what you're doing?

Peter Parker:… I'm afraid of making another mistake… I'm afraid my choices will get people hurt

Sun Wukong: And that makes us more human. You make a mistake you learn from it and how you'll do better, but what's more important is that you don't do this alone. Friends and family mean something or else they mean nothing. And a kid such as yourself. There has to be someone more important to you. Right?

Standing in silent, Peter thinks about the people in his life. His Aunt May and Uncle Ben, his mom and dad, Nico, Mary Jane, Liz, Flash, Gwen, Harry, Eddie, and others he cares for. But one that came into his thought is Kate Bishop. A girl he has become very close to and the relationship that was developed from it. A girl he loves and cares deeply, but unsure what to do now. Sun looked at his face and recognize that look of his

Sun Wukong: That face you've just made. You're thinking about a girl aren't you?

Peter Parker:… Yes

Sun Wukong: Is she pretty?

Peter Parker: Far more than that, but I feel like I blew it with her

Sun Wukong: Why?

Peter Parker: She wanted to know the truth about me. Who I really am, but I never said anything. I just wanted her to be safe. I don't know if she can handle it if she finds out who I really am, and after what happened yesterday… I can't put her like this

Sun Wukong: You won't let her down. If she's that important to you then you'll be there by her side and making sure every moment with her lasts

Peter Parker: And if she doesn't like what she hears what I have to say?

Sun Wukong: It's precisely why she's that important to you that she deserves to know. If she's that important then she deserves to know. Whatever the outcome at least she knows the reason

Peter Parker:… I don't even know if you're the kind of guy I would be talking about. I mean I barely even know you

Sun Wukong: Hey. I get along with everybody. I'm pretty much a people person. Plus, I'm handsome and women love me for it

Peter Parker: Except for Sable

Sun Wukong: She's my goal and the woman of my dreams. One day she will fall under my charm

Peter Parker: Heh. That's take years for you to pull that off

Sun Wukong: Well that won't stop me now would it?

Peter Parker:… No… No. I guess not…

Sun Wukong:… Take it from someone who actually has experience on this. Telling the girl you truly care about your deepest secret. That is a monumental step to take. That's when you know trust is being built out of it, and believe me. Telling a girl the most important secret is like telling a girl that you want to marry her

Peter Parker:

Sun Wukong: And there it is. The dreaded "M" word

Peter Parker: I-I-

Sun Wukong: Take my advice, Peter. Quite being a pussy and go get yourself some ass. Take a leap for the woman of your dreams or stay in the cliff and lose her forever. Because if a girl that special is gone then you'll never find another like that ever again

Hearing those words, Peter started to rethinks his decision. While he still wants to protect the people he cares about he couldn't help but think about Kate again. How honest she's been to him and how he felt he didn't deserve a girl like her. Thinking back on his last date with her in Coney Island

Peter Parker's Flashback: Coney Island

Inside the Ferris Wheel that they are in, Peter took out his smartphone and took a picture of him and Kate, who is still in her disguise and still held her stuffed bear, as they are high up together. Looking at the picture as the sun was behind them

Peter Parker: Heheh. Look at that

Kate Bishop: Wow. That looks great. You really are good with a camera

Peter Parker: Well that's one of my talents

Kate Bishop: Heh. I wonder what else you have in there

Peter Parker: Would you like to find out?

Kate Bishop: Well come here then

Kate approach Peter and the two tenderly kissed. With the Ferris Wheel stopped all the way up, the two have a quiet moment together as Peter looked at her while Kate noticed a look on his face

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop:… What's wrong?

Peter Parker:… I don't know. I guess I'm still in disbelief after all this

Kate Bishop: Of what?

Peter Parker: That a beautiful girl like you gets to be with a guy like me?

Kate Bishop: Why not? You're pretty cute, and you're quite buff. I mean those muscles. You've been working out?

Peter Parker: Yea. I am. Just trying to look good for you

Kate Bishop: Well the first time we met you weren't so bad looking. Didn't mind that

Peter Parker: And yet I can't help but wanting to impress you more. Didn't want to disappoint you

Kate Bishop: You didn't need to, but it's sweet that you cared… So what's wrong?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: Peter… You can tell me

Peter Parker:… My life right now… It's getting more complicated. I don't even know if I could make sense of it

Kate Bishop: Why?

Peter Parker:… It's… It's the job. It's what I'm doing. I wanted to do things right. I have a good reason for it, but as things go… I feel like I'm messing up. How do I even know if I made the right decision? What if I did something stupid that got someone hurt? It's hard

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: I just… I want to try and do some good. I guess… I just want to change myself

Kate Bishop:… You're not the only one

Peter Parker: What?

Kate Bishop:… A year ago… Me and my friends… I did something really stupid. So stupid that someone got hurt. It was meant to be a joke. A prank, but my friends too it too far. I didn't want any part of it, but they just wouldn't stop. I had to do something, but something unexpected happened, and I ended it there

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: I don't know what I would have done to make it different, but had I did it would have been too late. I was too stupid to not even realize it. I should have done better… I should have done more… That one event made me realize I was just being childish. I didn't even know what the right decision is back then, but I knew I should have done differently… I knew I had to change myself. I had to be better. Even right now I'm trying to change for the better, but I don't know how far I went…

Peter Parker:… Kate…

Kate Bishop:… So yeah… You're not the only one that had a complicated life. Nothing make it even remotely amount of sense

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop:… I just want to be a good person… I want to do good… I want to be better… I want to make up for my mistakes… I want to make amends

Peter Parker:… You are. I've seen it, and you shouldn't stop trying

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: Guess we both have another thing in common

Kate Bishop: Heh. Guess so

Peter Parker: And that's why we shouldn't stop trying. Let nothing stop us

Peter then held Kate's hand tightly as the two look at each other with comfort

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker:… I don't know what's going to happen to us, but I want you to know I will be there when you need me

Kate Bishop: I'll be counting on that

Peter Parker: Don't worry about it… You can count on me

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker:

The two stood silent as the Ferris Wheel start moving again, but in that time Peter and Kate moved in closer and kiss once more as the sun starts to set

Peter Parker's Flashback End

Peter takes out his phone and looks at the picture of her and Kate together. Thinking back at what he said to her, Peter realizes what he did wrong and is determined to correct it

Peter Parker:… I have to go

Sun Wukong: You know what you have to do now?

Peter Parker: Yeah. I think I do. Gonna need to borrow your limo though

Sun Wukong: Go. Make sure it's in one piece

Peter Parker: Thanks

Peter rushes off downstairs, but not before he turns to Sun about something

Peter Parker: Hey Sun

Sun Wukong: Yeah?

Peter Parker: Why did you bring me here anyway?

Sun Wukong: I was actually going to talk to you about something else. Something important we needed to discuss

Peter Parker: Why. What is it?

Sun Wukong:… I'll tell you about it later

Peter Parker: You sure?

Sun Wukong: Yeah. I'll let you know about it once you're done

Peter Parker:… You're not what I expected to be

Sun Wukong: Well I tried my best not to

Peter Parker: Better be important when I come back

Sun Wukong: I'll be waiting

With that, Peter heads off while Sun looks over the city. Wondering if he should have told him. Looking at his phone with a video of the break-in in his building from Hong Kong. Showing a familiar feline individual stealing a tablet from his vault. Fearing the worst if it comes to it and wonders if it would have made any difference

Sun Wukong:… The things I do for young love. You better prepare yourself Peter. A storm is coming. Enjoy your moment of calm while it lasts

Watson House: Hallway

( Ding-Dong )

Answering the door, a saddened Anna Watson opens and sees May Parker standing outside

May Parker: Hello Anna

Anna Watson: May

May Parker: Anna. I'm so sorry about Mary Jane. She was a wonderful girl

Anna Watson: S-She is… And now-

May Parker: I know

Anna Watson: Oh May

Anna was left upset and May comforted her. Gayle then appears and sees her standing outside

Gayle Watson: Mrs. Parker

May Parker: Gayle. I'm so very sorry about what happened to Mary Jane

Gayle Watson:… Thank you. That's really nice of you

Anna Watson: And Peter. How is he?

May Parker: He's fine. He's at home recovering from his injuries

Anna Watson: I'm glad he's alright

May Parker: Me too, but that's not what I'm here for. I was actually hoping that I could help in any way I can. Maybe I could donate some money to give her a proper burial. I could at least do that for her

Anna Watson: That's very sweet of you May, but there's no need

Gayle Watson: We've got a phone call from the Mayor's office. They said they'll pay for everything. Mary Jane will be buried tomorrow. Along with the rest of the student

May Parker: That sounded suspicious to me

Gayle Watson: My sister is going to be given a proper burial. That's more then what we ask for

May Parker: And Madeline? Where is she?

Gayle Watson:… I… don't think it's a good idea for you to see her

May Parker: I know it's difficult. I understand that. But you must also understand how much she's been a part of our lives. Mary Jane was a good friend to my nephew and was like a daughter to me. It's important that I see her one last time

Gayle Watson:

Anna Watson: You may need to ask Madeline for permission. I'll take you to her

Watson House: Mary Jane's Room

Inside, Madeline is seen on the floor tightly holding the clothes of his deceased daughter as she's in tears, as Anna enters the room with May

Anna Watson: Madeline… May is here. She wishes to speak with you

Madeline Watson:

Anna Watson:… Madeline?

May Parker: Madeline. I… I cannot express how you must feel. I lost my husband a year ago when he was shot. I had to raise Peter alone all this time. I was even afraid of what would become of him since he lost both his parents and his uncle. As for Mary Jane… Mary Jane was like a daughter to me. She has been a joy in our lives ever since she first arrived. Even the sight of her bursting with energy can bring a smile to our faces. To hear that she was killed broke my heart. I was saddened by it, but I also know she doesn't want anyone to be sad. That we must be strong. That's what she wanted

Madeline Watson:

May Parker: So please Madeline. If it's not too much to ask. I wish to see Mary Jane before she is buried tomorrow. I just want to speak with her one last time before she goes

Madeline Watson:

Anna Watson:… Madeline?

Madeline Watson:… Phillip never called back… His phone keeps on going to voicemail. He didn't even bother to call or come here after the school his own daughter attend was attacked by super-powered criminals

May Parker:

Anna Watson:… Madeline. I think its best if you-

Madeline Watson: My oldest daughter Gayle had an abortion because of his no-good boyfriend of hers. Mary Jane had to move here from Pennsylvania after that whole incident with her teacher. And me… The one who gave up everything just to be with that man, and what did I get in return…? Mary Jane became everything to me, but now she's gone the only thing I have left of her are the memories she touched upon and the clothes. Should I really allow this? How could something like this happen!? HOW!?

May Parker:

Anna Watson:

Madeline Watson:… Why? Why did she die!? WHAT DID MARY JANE DESERVE TO DIE!? WHY DOES EVERYTHING BAD HAPPEN TO THIS FAMILY! TO MY GIRLS! TO ME! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS!? AND THOSE SO-CALLED HEROES!? DID THEY DO ENOUGH TO SAVE MARY JANE!? THOSE FREAKS!? THOSE MENACE!? THOSE MONSTERS!?

May Parker: Those monsters you call them did their best to save everyone

Madeline Watson: What?

Anna Watson: Madeline. It wasn't their fault. It was Menace that did this, and she's now in prison awaiting justice

Madeline Watson: And then what!? They'll just escape and kill again! HOW LONG YOU THINK SHE'LL BE LEFT TO ROT IN THAT CELL!?

Anna Watson: Madeline

Madeline Watson: Why you two even bother to support these people!? After what they've done to this city!? Why!?

Anna Watson: Madeline. It's-

May Parker: It's because there is no one left that could. You think it would make any different if they weren't here to keep us safe? Who else would be left to protect us from something like that?

Madeline Watson: Do you call this protection!? My daughter is dead! How can you even support people like that?

May Parker: Because my life was saved by one. I saw how hard it is for them to put their lives on the line so that we won't have to suffer from those awful people like Menace

Madeline Watson: You're talking about Spider-Man? That menace?

May Parker: That young man has done more for this city then any law-enforcer ever could. Just like the heroes before him

Madeline Watson: Those heroes!? Those people with powers!? All these people have done is cause nothing but death and destruction! They're no better than those good-for-nothing terrorists!

Anna Watson: Madeline

May Parker: Madeline. You cannot blame the actions on an entire group of people just by the act of a few

Madeline Watson: They're terrorists. Just like all the other terrorists out there. These people should be locked up behind bars for the rest of their lives!

May Parker: And how would that help?

Madeline Watson: It will keep us safe. It will keep us normal people safe from those powered freaks!

May Parker: Madeline. That is a foolish way of thinking

Madeline Watson: Foolish!? FOOLISH!? LOOK AT THIS! LOOK AT WHAT I'M HOLDING IN MY ARMS! WHAT DO YOU SAY ABOUT THIS! HUH!? WHAT DO YOU SAY ABOUT THIS!

Full of anger while her tears still remain, Madeline stood up and showed her the clothes of her deceased daughter. Understanding her feelings May looks at her directly and calmly speaks what she had to say

May Parker:… Being a parent… To lose ones child like that… It is the worst kind of nightmare no one wishes to experience. To lose that one spark of happiness that would have kept you going and wonder if you would continuing on living everyday, and wonder why it happened

Madeline Watson: How would you know? You still have your nephew. How would you know about losing a child!?

Anna Watson:

May Parker:… I have a daughter… Her name is Zoe

Madeline Watson:

May Parker:… You should have met her. She was the most beautiful girl Ben and I ever had. She was our pride and joy. Every moment with her was a blessing. Before she was born we thought we wouldn't have any children after I had trouble conceiving. Even the doctors said they wouldn't be able to do anything, but then one day I found out I was only a few weeks pregnant. We both couldn't believe it when we found out we were going to have a baby. Even the doctors were surprised by it, but to us our prayers were answered. After I gave birth we saw her as our miracle child. The name Zoe means "life" in Greek, because the moment we held her in our arms she became our life. Even Ben's younger brother and his wife were surprised by the sight of her. She was our perfect miracle. And when Peter was born our happiness could have been better. When she was in the room you couldn't help but feel the joy she brings to us. She even has so many friends. She even tells me of this boy she likes. I had so much dreams for her that I wanted to give her all the joy a mother could give, but that was taken away from me… On that fateful day

Anna Watson: May-

May Parker: It's okay Anna

Madeline Watson: Why…? What happened?

May Parker:… There was this school camping trip Zoe wanted to go. It was only supposed to be for a few weeks until she comes home, but she was sick and I wanted her to stay home. But Zoe was too stubborn for her own good. She didn't want to miss out on this trip because of her friends. She really wanted to go, and so Ben and I both thought we would let her enjoy herself. So, she went and her sickness was getting better that we stopped worrying. But on the day she was supposed to come home… The bus she was in collided with a truck. Causing it to drive over a cliff. The driver survived while everyone in that bus didn't

Madeline Watson:

May Parker:… Ever since I heard my daughter is gone my heart just broke along with my dreams. To remember her smile being the last thing I'll remember of her I cried so much that I wonder how could I live every single day without her. We even blamed ourselves for even allowing Zoe to go on this trip. I often think had we not sent her then she would still be alive. She would have been 25 right now if she had been. She was the only child I've ever given birth to, and now that she's gone the only feeling I had besides the sorrow was hate. And I wanted to hate that man for taking away the only precious thing I had, and when I did see him in person at that courtroom my feeling was not of hate, but of sadness

Madeline Watson: Why? Why would you feel sadness for him?

May Parker: Because the way his eyes showed, and it was filled with so much sorrow. I now know that he never meant for it to happen. He never meant for those children to die. When the court says that they've found traces of alcohol in his system the man responded that he never caused it. And that something else happened. Something that caused the incident. I realized that he was so desperate for someone to believe him. He wanted to explain what really happened that day, but no one wanted to hear or believed him. He was so shattered that he was losing all hope. I pity him for that, because in his eyes I saw a sense of truth to him. A truth that wanted me to know what really happened, but as there were no evidence that something else has occurred his judgement was already passed and he was found guilty. He was sentence to life imprisonment for the incident despite his plea. He committed suicide the next month. He will never tell his story of what really happened that day

Madeline Watson: You believed him?

May Parker: I looked over the bodies and names of these children, and I found my daughter was not among them. Her body was never found. That's when a small spark of hope was left. I hoped desperately that she did survive and that I would hold her in my arms again, but many told me I should just accept it that my daughter is gone for good. While it has been years since then I have learned something. My hate for that man blinded me from what has truly happened, and an innocent man paid the price because no one believed his story. It has prevented me from understanding anything because I was blinded by my own hate. Hate can blind common sense, and if you don't truly understand anything and focus on hating one another then you are merely using it as an excuse for not wanting to understand. Hate blinds you, and that hate will destroy the life of someone that didn't deserve it

Madeline Watson: Didn't deserve it? After what he did to your daughter!?

May Parker: Zoe's body was never found

Madeline Watson: She's gone! Just like those kids! She's gone!

Anna Watson: Madeline!

Madeline Watson: What! She actually believed that her daughter's killer is innocent!? What kind of a mother would think that!? Do you not care about your own daughter!?

May Parker: I do, but I will not accuse anyone without proving who's responsible

Madeline Watson: Well that is just too sad of you! To believe in murderers like that!

May Parker: Madeline. Whatever the reason you can't put the responsibility on an entire group of people because of the actions of a few. Whatever race, ethnicity, religion, or species. To put the blame on an entire group of people that have nothing to do with it will never bring justice nor peace. Only hate and violence

Madeline Watson: NO! I will not accept it! How can I!? Do you think this is any excuse for those deaths!? I MEAN LOOK AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED!? WHO'S GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF THAT!

May Parker: What you're suggesting is profiling and that breeds discrimination and creates victims

Madeline Watson: There have already been victims and those responsible needs to be punished!

May Parker: Mary Jane would not want that!

Madeline Watson: ENOUGH! How would you know what she wants! She's not your real daughter! YOU'RE NOT EVEN A REAL MOTHER AT ALL!

Anna Watson: MADELINE! THAT'S ENOUGH!

May Parker:

Hearing her speak like that to May, Anna raised her voice on Madeline as the two stare at each other in frustration. With Madeline refusing to take back what she, as May realizes this and quietly leaves the room

Anna Watson: May?

May Parker: I'm going home, Anna. It's quite clear what her answer is

Anna Watson: May. Please

Saying nothing, May went downstairs and passes Gayle, who heard the whole thing, as she leaves the house. With the house now filled with silence Anna looked at Madeline completely mad as she left, while Gayle sat on the floor feeling completely upset that this has now happened to her. Still holding Mary Jane's clothes as her eyes still covered in tears, Madeline thinks back with everything that has happened to her life so far and starting to feel as if she's having a mental breakdown. Bending down on her knees completely upset that her worst days still continue to happen to her

Daily Bugle HQ: Jameson's Office

Inside his office, Jameson is seen drinking a glass of scotch while looking at today's issue. Showing Menace's imprisonment, but looked at the part with the death of one of the Bugle's journalists, Frederick Foswell. Killed by Menace' hand, who is revealed to be his daughter, Janice Foswell. Robbie Robertson enters the office

Robbie Robertson:… Jonah. You alright

  1. Jonah Jameson:… I'll soon will be. Just a couple of more shots will do

Robbie Robertson:

  1. Jonah Jameson:… How are things going out there?

Robbie Robertson: Everyone is still distraught by this. They did however donated money for him. At least Frederick will be buried into something nice. A private holding for us to honor him personally. He deserves that much

  1. Jonah Jameson:Yes… He does. He was always dedicated to his job. One of the best I ever had… Good work Robbie

Robbie Robertson:… I'll… leave you alone then

  1. Jonah Jameson:Robbie

Robbie Robertson: Yeah…?

  1. Jonah Jameson:… Could we have prevented this? Prevented others like him from dying?

Robbie Robertson:… In this line of work… There's not always a right answer to that

  1. Jonah Jameson:… No… No there isn't

Robbie Robertson:… I'm sorry Jonah

Robbie left Jameson alone as he continues drinking while feeling down that Foswell is gone

Daily Bugle HQ: Work Office

Stunned and silence are filling the air as many of the staff members are still shocked by what has transpired with the death of Frederick Foswell. On his desk, Ned Lee looked at his screen as he was doing a column to honor the late journalist and friend. Feeling stressed by this, Ned go up and head to the office kitchen

Daily Bugle HQ: Office Kitchen

Walking inside, Ned sees Betty Brant alone with tears dropping from her eyes as she turns to him. The two looked at each other with uncertainty as to what to say to each other

Ned Lee:… Betty…

Betty Brant:… Ned…

Ned Lee:

Betty Brant:

Ned Lee:… I… was getting myself a cup of coffee, but… I think I'll come back

Betty Brant: Ned, wait

Ned Lee: Betty. I… I have this column I need to take care off-

( grab )

Betty Brant:

Ned Lee:

Surprisingly, Betty rushed from behind and grab him. Holding him tight with an upset face, as Ned grew even more upset as he turns and hugs Betty back. The two remained silent as they both mourn for the loss of their friend

Michelle Gonzales's Apartment

Inside her apartment. Michelle is seen on her couch in tears while drinking tequila. Looking at the picture of her and her brother Vin together knowing that he's forever gone. Until she hears a knock on the door

( knock ) ( knock ) ( knock )

Michelle Gonzales:… I'm coming. Wait

Michelle heads to and open the front door, as she sees Stan standing with a breakfast bag and greets her

Stan Carter: Hey there

Michelle Gonzales: Stan. What are you doing here?

Stan Carter: Thought I might check up on you, and since I was on the way I figured some breakfast would do you good

Michelle Gonzales: That's sweet of you Stan, but you didn't have too

Stan Carter: Actually. Yeah I do. Hell, I couldn't even stop worrying about you since morning

Michelle Gonzales:… You… were worried about me?

Stan Carter: Yeah… I-I mean… I

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter:… Any chance I could come in?

Michelle Gonzales:… I'll make some coffee

Few Minutes Later

Michelle is seen making coffee as Stan looks around her apartment and sees photos of her and her family

Stan Carter: Wow. Cute pic

Michelle Gonzales: Thanks

Stan Carter: This your family?

Michelle Gonzales: Yeah. That was taken from our trip to Mexico. Our dad took us there just to get back to our roots, but really we just went in there for the beach

Stan Carter: Heh. Yeah. I actually been to Mexico in my college days. Damn those were good memories

Michelle Gonzales: Yeah…

Stan Carter: I actually wanted to invite him and the guys to a trip there… Too late for that now

Michelle Gonzales:… It's done. Here

Stan Carter: Thanks

Michelle handed Stan a cup of coffee as the two sat down and drink together. Michelle then said a phrase to him

Michelle Gonzales:…"Todo para la familia"

Stan Carter: What does that mean?

Michelle Gonzales: "Everything for the family". That what it means. That's what my dad would say to us, because family meant everything

Stan Carter:… I can get behind that

Michelle Gonzales:… My papi would like you

Stan Carter: Heh… Wish I could have met him

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter: You've been sleeping well?

Michelle Gonzales:… Not really

Stan Carter:… You should have let me stayed last night

Michelle Gonzales: You really didn't need to

Stan Carter: But I do. Because I can't stop worrying about you. Not when someone important to me is hurt

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter: Michelle. You are by far the most strongest woman I've ever met. You're like everything I never thought you'd be, and what Vin told me you proved yourself to be a better cop then me. Far better and more

Michelle Gonzales:… You really mean that?

Stan Carter: I do, and seeing you right now… I would do anything to bring back the Michelle I know. The one who keeps calling me smartass all the time. The one who brings so much energy to give those who need it. That smile that brightens up our day when you bring coffee to our desk… You have a

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter:… I've always liked your smile… I've even loved your personality… It's the thing that kept me going…

Michelle Gonzales:… That's… so embarrassing

Stan Carter: Hey. That's what I feel about you. I mean what I would even do without you?

Michelle Gonzales:… It's sweet… You're sweet…

Stan Carter:… Thanks… I… guess something was supposed to happen, or something I wanted to say, but staying with you if you want me to. You just say anything and I'll be what you want me to be. No strings attached

Michelle Gonzales:… If you meant it

Stan Carter:… Yeah. Yeah I do

Michelle Gonzales:… Then there is one thing you can do… It's stupid, but if you don't mind it

Stan Carter: Sure. Anything for you… I just want you to be happy again

Michelle Gonzales:

Stan Carter: Just say it… Anything. Anything will do, because I-

( smooch )

In an unexpected movie, Michelle moves closer as he grabs Stan and kisses him. Leaving him surprised and completely off guard, but Stan looks at Michelle deeply as their faces are close. Their feelings for each other has started to spark as they move closer and held on to each other and tenderly kiss on the couch

Hawthorne Academy: Teacher's Office

With school now finished early, Kate is seen with her teacher, Lydia Daker, in the teacher's office as she handed her an address of Missy Kallenback

Lydia Daker: Here it is

Kate Bishop: Thanks, Mrs. Daker

Lydia Daker: Just make sure you won't tell anyone about this. Especially Ms. Handral. You know how intimidating she is. Especially with the way she looks at me

Kate Bishop: Yeah. No kidding

Lydia Daker: Well then. I hope you do find some news about her

Kate Bishop: I will thanks. I owe you for this

Lydia Daker: Well you've always been a good model student, and I can see how much you wanted to help Ms. Kallenback

Kate Bishop: After what happened in that prom she needs it

Lydia Daker: Just a warning though. Even if you do manage to visit her home you need to be weary about her parents. They're… questionable to say the least. So keep your guard up when it happens

Kate Bishop: I will. Thanks, Mrs. Daker

Hawthorne Academy: Hallway

Kate is seen getting out of the Teacher's Office as Josephine, Britney, and Priscilla are waiting while discussing about Janice

Kate Bishop: Thanks for waiting

Josephine Bricklemoore : We know it's important for you to find out what happened

Kate Bishop: Missanda Kallenback never showed up. Ever since the prom she never even showed up anymore

Britney Amber Fox: Rumors are building about what happen to her, but what Prissy said actually made sense to me

Priscilla Ironwood: It just seems odd that she was never reported missing. Did her parents even reported it?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Maybe she went overseas or something

Priscilla Ironwood: I don't know. It just feels starnage all of a sudden

Britney Amber Fox: Are you kidding me? Everything that's happening today was strange. With that Kallenback girl it was brutal to see after what happened to her right in front of you. And now with Janice being a supervillain, and her own dad being killed by her?

Josephine Bricklemoore : Seriously?

Priscilla Ironwood: I checked my phone. It's all over the news

Josephine Bricklemoore: I don't believe it

Kate Bishop: Me neither. It doesn't sound like her. I mean Janice would never do something like that

Britney Amber Fox: But she did. Or else why would she be wearing the costume?

Priscilla Ironwood: She's right. I mean… It was shocking to see her in that costume. To think that she would be the one that killed Spider-Man. And worse… all those people at Midtown

Kate Bishop:… I just don't get it. What's even going on here?

Hawthorne Academy: Outside (Front Entrance)

The four girls walked out of the building and sees Aaron, Tom, and Joseph waiting

Britney Amber Fox: Thank god it's good to finally see your face again

Tom Coast: Babe, the wait was killing me for not seeing you

Britney Amber Fox: Sweet talker and a good looker. Thank god

Joseph Bricklemoore: How was it today with you guys?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Take a guess

Priscilla Ironwood: I'm feeling nervous about it already

Aaron Natz: So what are you guys planning now?

Joseph Bricklemoore: We're thinking about going home

Josephine Bricklemoore: Especially with our mom being worried. I think she was one of the people that called Mrs. Handral for this

Aaron Natz: Yeah. I think I might be going home too

Tom Coast: Babe?

Britney Amber Fox: I was hoping the rest of us would go to the mall, but if anybody's going home then there's no reason to stick around. How about you Katie?

Kate Bishop:

Britney Amber Fox: Katie?

Kate Bishop: Oh… Uh. Yeah. I think I'll be going home too

Britney Amber Fox: You okay girl. What happened?

Kate Bishop: It's nothing. Just… with Janice, and all this… A lot is going on here

Josephine Bricklemoore: Or are you thinking about Peter?

Kate Bishop:

Tom Coast: Who's Peter?

Britney Amber Fox: The bad boy Katie's been seeing

Aaron Natz: Seriously?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Don't forget a dangerous gangster

Kate Bishop: I don't want a reminder on that, Josy

Josephine Bricklemoore: You need to forget him. Move on to someone else. Someone good. Someone that won't get you into trouble

Kate Bishop: It's not that easy

Josephine Bricklemoore: Yes it is. You just need to let him go and find someone who's good for you

Britney Amber Fox: Like this guy?

Kate Bishop: Who?

Brigham Fontaine: Hi Kate

Standing in front of them is Brigham Fontaine. Looking at Kate directly as she's been left with uncertainty

Kate Bishop: Brigham

Brigham Fontaine: Can we talk?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Why should she? After finding out that you had a hand in that prom incident?

Britney Amber Fox: Not to mention being a complete jerk

Kate Bishop: Guys. Let me talk to him

Josephine Bricklemoore: You sure?

Kate Bishop: Just give me a minute

Kate walks to Brigham and the two look strtaight face-to-face as they talk, while her friends watch

Kate Bishop: Brigham

Brigham Fontaine: Can we talk?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Why should she? After finding out that you had a hand in that prom incident?

Britney Amber Fox: Not to mention being a complete jerk

Josephine Bricklemoore: Yes. I get it. I was an idiot for even thinking about that, but I had a good reason for it

Kate Bishop: And that is?

Josephine Bricklemoore: I just want you back. Maybe… I had this stupid idea that if it did happen then maybe-

Kate Bishop: You would jump in and play the protective knight in shining armor? You're right. It is stupid

Brigham Fontaine: Look. I know it's unlike me to do something like this, but I just want you back

Kate Bishop: And you know what the sad part is. I was actually thinking about it, but you've given me more of a reason not to

Brigham Fontaine: Kate, please. I know what it looks like, but have to know that I would never allow anyone to hurt you. Not like that other guy you've been seeing

Kate Bishop: Peter?

Brigham Fontaine: Listen, that Peter Parker guy is bad news and you should involve yourself with someone like him

Peter Parker: And which is why she deserves to know the whole story

Brigham Fontaine:

Standing behind him is Peter Parker holding a bag as Brigham is left surprised to see him. Kate was also surprised, while her friends were more shocked to see him

Peter Parker: Hey Kate

Kate Bishop: P-Peter!?

Josephine Bricklemoore: Holy shit

Priscilla Ironwood: Is that?

Tom Coast: Who's he?

Britney Amber Fox: That's the guy Kate's dating

Tom Coast: Seriously?

Kate Bishop: Peter. What are you doing here?

Peter Parker: I came here to talk to you

Kate Bishop: About what?

Peter Parker: Something you deserve to know. That's why I want to talk to you. Alone

Brigham Fontaine: Well you ain't getting it you thug

Brigham stood in front of Peter as he looks down on him while shielding Kate

Peter Parker:

Brigham Fontaine: I don't know what you're game is, but if you think I'm going to allow a criminal like you going near her then you have another thing coming

Peter Parker: It's important. I need to talk to her

Brigham Fontaine: You do realize you're in one of the most elite schools in the country, and if anything happens to the students here then you'll be facing a good amount of jail time here

Kate Bishop: Brigham

Brigham Fontaine: It's for your own good Kate

Peter Parker: I'm not here to make trouble

Brigham Fontaine: Then I suggest you leave right now

Kate Bishop: Brigham! Enough!

Kate steps forward and grabs Peter by the arm. Surprising Brigham by this, while Kate introduce him to her friends

Brigham Fontaine: K-Kate?

Peter Parker: Yeah, but privately

Kate Bishop: Can't you say it in front of my friend?

Peter Parker: No. This is important. It's personal actually

Brigham Fontaine: Kate. You can't be serious?

Kate Bishop: If he wants to talk then it's fine

Brigham Fontaine: But Kate. He's a-

Kate Bishop: Don't say it Brigham! Not here

Brigham Fontaine:

Kate Bishop: And guys. This is Peter Parker. The guy I've been telling you about

Peter Parker: Hello. It's good to finally meet you guys

Josephine Bricklemoore: Oh god it's you

Britney Amber Fox: Hi

Tom Coast: Damn. You god some muscles

Peter Parker: Thanks

Joseph Bricklemoore: Holy crap. You're-

Priscilla Ironwood: Don't say anything

Joseph Bricklemoore: But-

Priscilla Ironwood: Don't say

Peter Parker: About what?

Aaron Natz: That you're a-

Kate Bishop: Okay. Introductions over. Let's go

Brigham Fontaine: But Kate!

Kate Bishop: Goodbye, Brigham

While holding him, Kate brings Peter inside the Academy while the others looked on with surprise, but Brigham is left feeling annoyed by this. Seeing Peter become this close to Kate like that and wonders what he's here for. Leaving Brigham feeling frustrated

Somewhere in New York

On top of a building, Oni Maiden is sitting on the edge of the building thinking about yesterday has gotten her concerned

Oni Maiden:… Heh, guess I have myself to blame. Never had the habit of stopping, and here I thought I was trying to get away from all of it… Big whoop

Oni Maiden continues to sit alone with her thoughts, but suddenly hears a scream of a person as gun shots were fired from the streets. As three jewel thieves go out from a jewelry store with bags full of jewels. Taking advantage of the lack of police force

( BLAM ) ( BLAM ) ( BLAM )

?: AAAAH!

Jewel Thief 1: Come on! We got what we came for! Let's move!

Jewel Thief 2: HOLY SHIT! Look at how much we just take!

Jewel Thief 3: And shit easy too! With no cops to boot!

Jewel Thief 1: Shut up and let's move!

The three jewel thieves are attempting to make an escape, but Oni Maiden sees this as she stood up and attempt to intervene

Oni Maiden:… Well… I so needed that. No time like the present. "Staff of Enma! Emerge!

Bringing out her staff, Oni Maiden flew down and confront the three jewel thieves, as they are surprised to see her

Jewel Thief 2: Huh?

Jewel Thief 3: What the!?

Jewel Thief 1: Who the hell!?

Oni Maiden: Think fast!

( WHACK )

Hawthorne Academy: Library

Peter and Kate are seen entering the library as some of the students are about to leave. While Peter himself is impressed with what he sees. Completely different to the library from his school

Peter Parker: Holy crap. Just look at this

Kate Bishop: Every book ever collected are deemed the most influential to gain so much knowledge on every kind of field. That's why Hawthorne is one of the best elite schools in the country. Made itself in the list in one of thousands elite schools in all the world

Peter Parker: Wow. So much nicer then…

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: You said you know a place we can talk?

Kate Bishop: Yeah. Over there

Kate takes Peter to one of the room with a sign listing it as the Map Room

Hawthorne Academy: Map Room

Inside the map room, Kate makes sure the place is completely empty as she closes the door behind her. Leaving the two completely alone as they talk

Kate Bishop: There. No one's gonna bother us

Peter Parker: You sure about this place?

Kate Bishop: Not many people uses it much. Just mainly discussions, internet, quiet place to do homework, and other stuff. A certain someone I know uses it

Peter Parker: Using it for what?

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker:… Oh… Right

Kate Bishop:… I know. Fun right?

Peter Parker: Heh. Yeah…

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker:… Kate. There are so many things I wanted to tell you

Kate Bishop: Before you could say anything I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I heard what happened in Midtown

Peter Parker:… Thank you…

Kate Bishop: Did… any of your friends?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop:… I'm so sorry

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop:… So… You had something to say to me?

Peter Parker:… Yeah. As I was saying. There are a lot of things that I wanted to tell you, but I was afraid of what you might think. Things that I was to keep a secret, but that also means not getting my friends involved. A year ago I actually was in a relationship. The girl I was with… She wanted to be with me and she wanted to make it serious, and I end up ruining it. Not just her but the people around me ended up having the brunt of it

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker:… I make mistakes. Not just one but all the time. I never meant for it, but the choices I made sends a different setting. I don't want to put any more people in harm's way. That's why I had to push the people I care about away. Not letting them get hurt, but that made no difference. No matter what I do

Kate Bishop: You think that was the only way?

Peter Parker:… I don't want them to get hurt. Just as I don't want you to get hurt, and I would do whatever it takes to protect you

Kate Bishop: Even if it means you hurting me?

Peter Parker: I would never allow that. I will never do anything that would hurt you

Kate Bishop:… I would have almost believe that

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: If you are really going to be honest with me then you shouldn't judge, because I'm not the kind of girl that wouldn't take any crap from anyone. So for your sake and mine you better give me a straight answer

Peter Parker:… I'm an open book. Say what you want me to say

Kate Bishop:… Are you really a gangster?

Peter Parker:… Kate-

Kate Bishop: Answer me, Peter… Please… Don't make me regret this…

Peter Parker:… Yes… Yes I am

Hearing that answer straight from him, Kate was left disappointed and unhappy, while Peter tries to explain

Kate Bishop:… God. You have no idea how much I don't that to be true

Peter Parker:… I'm sorry Kate

Kate Bishop: Sorry? You're sorry? Do you know how hard it is for me not to believe that? Thinking that you're still that Bugle photographer?

Peter Parker: I am… Well I was, but I can explain that

Kate Bishop: You can explain. How many guys you think I've heard said that? All of them ended up being complete jerks. All of them were just full of shit, but you. You are the only one I want to believe in. The one I can trust

Peter Parker: I know. That's why I'm here. I want to explain to you directly. So that you would know the whole story

Kate Bishop: Assuming I can believe it now

Peter Parker: You will. I know you will. Let me please explain the whole thing why

Kate Bishop: And that is?

Peter Parker:… The reason I became a gangster was because I found out that… a friend of mine was involved in something she shouldn't have. She needed my help. So I thought maybe being a gangster would give me something I need to do just that, because if I go to the cops then the situation would have worsen and she would have ended up dead or much worse

Kate Bishop: So how come you said you was a Bugle photographer?

Peter Parker:… I was let go by my boss. Because of how the gang war escalate he knew I was going to take some serious risk. He won't allow it. So he let me go

Kate Bishop:… That sucked

Peter Parker:… Yeah…

Kate Bishop: So what happened next? You helped your friend?

Peter Parker:… In a way, but now she's in a hospital bed. But that's not just it. Something I did not expect happened. When I got deep I knew something else was going on. I just don't know what it is yet, but the situation has gotten much complicated now. And I don't know how I'm going to say this to you

Kate Bishop: Peter… Tell me

Peter Parker:… Kate… I don't know if I should tell you

Kate Bishop: Why?

Peter Parker: Because if you knew then you'll be involved in this, and that could get you killed

Kate Bishop: Peter. I've been through worse. I may not look like it but I have things I wish I didn't get involved in. You know about this already. At Coney Island

Peter Parker:… Yeah

Kate Bishop: You wanted to change. We both were, but that also means we shouldn't do this alone. You shouldn't do this alone. If you want this to work. Want us to work then you need to just stop thinking for doubts for one second and just believe. Believe in the people you give a damn about and try to get through to them

Peter Parker:… How would I know you won't be in any danger?

Kate Bishop: You know me enough to know the answer already. And you know how capable I am. Whatever the reason you need to stop trying and just believe in the people you care about. Believe in me

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: Peter… Please…

Peter Parker:… I saw your dad, Derek Bishop

Kate Bishop: What?

Peter Parker: Yeah. He's involved with some bad people and making bad dealings. I don't know what, but it's bad and people are going to die

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: I know it's hard to believe. I was surprised by it too

Kate Bishop: You're right… I don't believe it

Peter Parker: Kate

Kate Bishop: It can't be. My dad is a company CEO and a philanthropist. He's not a criminal. That's insane

Peter Parker: I know it's hard to swallow, but I saw him with my own eyes. I don't know how deep, but your dad's involved in this

Kate Bishop: It's insane. My dad can't be a criminal. He raised us. He takes me to school when I was still a kid. We went to family trips together. He was a huge sci-fi nerd. He watch Star Wars with us for crying out loud!

Peter Parker: I get it. You don't want to believe someone you care about is working for the bad guys

Kate Bishop: Damn right. There is no way my dad is working for some criminals and gangsters. That just can't be true

Peter Parker: Kate

Kate Bishop: It has to be someone else that looks like him. You've got the wrong guy. There's no way my dad is a criminal

Peter Parker: Kate. I'm sorry, but I know what I saw. I don't know why. Maybe there's an explanation, but it's him and your life and maybe your family's life could be in danger-

Kate Bishop: Stop

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: Just… Just stop. I… I can't-

Peter Parker: Kate

Kate Bishop: I can't accept it. There is just no way

Peter Parker: Kate… That's the truth, or else I wouldn't say it to you directly if it did turn out to be a lie

Kate Bishop: I… I just can't-

Peter Parker: Kate. Look at me. Look at me and see for yourself-

Kate Bishop: No. I-I just… No… No

Peter Parker: Kate-

Kate is starting to feel stunned and confused, but Peter moves forward and held her hand as she looks at him and sees a determined and honest look on his face. But still filled with disbelief and she pulls away

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: I will never lie to you like this

Kate Bishop:… I don't know if I can believe that. How can I? He's my dad

Peter Parker: I know

Kate Bishop:

Peter Parker: Look. Maybe he has no other choice. Maybe they forced him. I don't know the whole story yet, but I intend to find out

Kate Bishop:… I can't believe it. There's just no way

Peter Parker:… You deserve to know. I can't back out of it now. Not when I know what's at stake

Kate Bishop: I can't believe it… It has to be a lie

Peter Parker:… I'm sorry

Kate Bishop: Can't you really prove that? I need more than just your answer

Peter Parker:… I don't have any

Kate Bishop: Then how can I believe that my dad is involved?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: Exactly

Peter Parker: Kate

Kate Bishop: I've encountered people in my life before that said bullshit to my face before. Hell, you've met one outside already when he tried to play knight in shining armor

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: It's… It's not that I don't believe you. It's just that I can't. How can I believe the man that raised me and my family be… what you said he is? Maybe he could be in trouble. Maybe something happened that forced him into it. I don't know. You might still be full of bullshit, but seeing you now I know you're being honest with me. As you always have, and you're not like him. Not like Brigham… No… You're not him, and I know you have a reason for that. So I want to trust you, Peter… I will trust you. So look at me in the eye and answer me this question. The one I want to know that guarantees it

Peter Parker:… Anything

Kate Bishop:… How did you find that out? How did you find out my dad is involved?

Peter Parker:… I saw him in a meeting with a supervillain. At a construction site in downtown Manhattan at night

Kate Bishop: I know that. From the news. There was a supervillain fight and one of them got killed. Was it full of guards?

Peter Parker: Yeah

Kate Bishop: How?

Peter Parker: What do you mean how?

Kate Bishop: You said it was full of guard's right? And with supervillains? And I've seen enough movies to know that if you want to sneak pass a guard then you have to be really good if you want to avoid being seen. So you can be either good, athletic, or something else. Avoiding a guard is one, but a supervillain is another. And not many people can survive from that. So how can you manage to get past while surviving a supervillain attack?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: What else you're hiding Peter?

Peter Parker:… There was one other secret. The one I've been hiding since I first got it

Kate Bishop: And that is?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: Peter?

Peter Parker:… This is the only chance you can get Kate. Knowing this secret. You will get yourself into something you shouldn't, and it will get you hurt, or worse. Are you really up for it?

Kate Bishop:… I'm Kate Bishop. Is there any other answer to that?

Peter Parker:… Alright

Kate then closed her eyes and started counting

Kate Bishop:… 1… 2… 3… 4… 5

Finished counting, Kate open her eyes and sees that Peter is no longer around. Which surprised her as she didn't hear him leaving though the door

Kate Bishop: Peter? Peter where are you? This isn't funny. You better show yourself or else I'll-

( TWIP )

Kate Bishop: AAAAAAH!

( GRAB )

Kate Bishop:… H-Huh?

Peter Parker:… You believe me now?

Kate has been pulled up and sees Peter sticking himself to the ceiling while holding her tight. In shock and disbelief as she sees herself high from the floor where she was standing

Kate Bishop:… W-W-What!?

Peter Parker: Don't freak out

Kate Bishop: H-Holy shit!

Peter Parker: Hang on?

While holding her tight, Peter drops down and landed on the floor as Kate backed away from him in shock by what he just did. Leaving her speechless by what just happened as Peter revealed his secret to her

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop: H-H-How…? How… How… did you do that!?

Peter Parker:… My name is Peter Parker. My mom and dad died in a plane crash when I was only four years old. I was raised by my uncle Ben and aunt May. Over a year ago I went to this field trip to ESU. That trip changed my life forever. It all started… with me being in the right position, and a bite from a genetically-altered spider

Kate Bishop: A… spider?

Peter Parker:

Kate Bishop:… No…

Peter Parker:… Yeah… I'm Spider-Man

Somewhere in New York

In downtown New York as a bus arrive, three individuals came out and looked around the city as they arrive at their destination while trying to search the place they're heading as one of them called her name

Hisako Ichiki: Wow. We're actually in New York City. Hey Nomi

Nomi Blume: Yeah?

Hisako Ichiki: You think we could go to the Statue of Liberty? I've always wanted to go there

Nomi Blume: Sure. If we have time maybe

Kitty Pryde: Focus guys. We were sent here for a reason

Nomi Blume: Always trying to ruin the fun as always

Kitty Pryde: Well once we're done then we'll think about doing some sightseeing

Nomi Blume: Well it better be worth it. I don't want to think this trip's been a waste after arriving here

Hisako Ichiki: So what are we here for again?

Kitty Pryde: Where Cerebro is leading us to. A new mutant

El Alaoui House: Carmen's Room

Carmen E l Alaoui :… *gasp* Ah! *cough* *cough*

Opening his eyes, Carmen feels slightly dizzy as he starts to get up from his bed with a splitting headache

Carmen E l Alaoui : Ah. My head. God. What the hell

As his vision clears up, Carmen sluggishly walks to the door, but as he touches the door knob something unexpected happen to him

Carmen E l Alaoui : W-What!?

Carmen tries to relax, but this moment has left him completely shocked that his skin has become brass. But still tries to relax and stay focus. Then his skin slowly starts to turn back to normal as no traces of brass is left. Finally back to normal, Carmen looks at himself through the mirror and was left stunned by what just happened. Looking at his hand and wonders what has just happened

Carmen E l Alaoui :… W-What the hell?

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Holy crap here it is. To all you guys I am so very sorry about the delay. I have so much crap going on right now. The reason for this amount of delay was because my mum had chest problems and I had to take her to hospital, and she was there for over a long period of time that they had to change to another hospital were she had a heart bypass. I had so little spare time for this that I haven't been able to finish this chapter at all. Now I'm back to this there are things I need to delve in

For starters, I've been looking over the whole story and trying to rethink my plans for the whole plot. Then I realize I've made some errors and I have to check over the whole story. What I did found was that I have infact made a mistake on certain things. One of them is the character, Carmen El Alaoui. I originally wanted to introduce him to volume 2 of the story, but as I looked over it became apparent that he has to show up in this chapter. Especially how I'm going to end this volume. So I made some changes and updates on the story to include him, while looking over some grammar errors and fix them

Back to the story at hand, and before you could ask. Yes, Gwen Stacy is alive no way she can be caught as Eddie made Peter not say anything about Gwen being Menace. With the aftermath, a couple of changes are going to occur. While it's still in progress would be crucial for the characters. One thing I did brought up is a certain character that was mentioned in chapter 39. Zoe Parker. When I was looking over a list of characters in the Spider-Man mythos one name showed up that I've never even heard off before and it came from Wikipedia. I've been searching over who is Zoe Parker, but the only thing I got was that she Peter's cousin. Didn't say any further. So I decided to make this character the daughter of both Ben and May. Because let's think about this. There have been so many versions of Ben and May Parker raising Peter, but there's not even one were they have a kid of their own. I wonder why there hasn't been a universe were there is a child of Ben and May existing. So I decided to take the Zoe Parker character and make her the daughter of Ben and May Parker.

With this I hope to improve on the story as a whole and try to improve on the plot as I need to look over the other chapters for further improvements

Again, I'm so very sorry that it took so long and I'll try to make it up. Let me know what else could be improved

PLEASE REVIEW

PS: If it's no trouble I would like for you all to pass on this. # FREEABUSAKHA

Mohammed Faisal AbuSakha is a Palestinian circus trainer who was detained by Israeli Military with no charge. I was saddened by the fact that he got arrested because he has helped a lot of kids that are disabled and helped them with their trauma and those that suffered with depression, and the fact that he got arrested for no reason other then helping kids. This is a difficult time for kids their age with disabilities, and to hear that this has happened will only make it much harder for their lives

I myself have depression and this must not stand for the kids. I urge anyone reading this to spread the message as far as you can, because this is a man who has spend his time helping disabled kids that needed some joy in their lives, and he does not deserve this kind of treatment

Please use the hashtag and spread awareness about Abu Sakha's case and all administrative detainees.
