34: The Back Think

REVIEW'S RESPONSE:

spiderman1fan: Later he will

Guest: Thanks and yeah Whitney wants it

Deadpoolsson: The scene with Peter and Whitney is what I had in mind for. Wong might appear in the next chapter. SHIELD and the Avengers won't have a role in this volume, but hopefully in the next. Green Goblin will show up in volume 3, and I had an objective for Gwen to be a villain for a short while and I'm sticking to that. The Masters of Evil I will think about in the next volume. Kate Bishop is still going to be the love interest for Peter so don't worry

cabrera1234: Whitney is fine. In fact here's what happened

latinoheat151: Thanks. Sally and Jason are really screwed, and what happens will not be good. Wolverine has a history with Mr. X very well. So it's going to be a while until that matter was mentioned

Joe: Thank you for the kind word

Vinicio Restaurant

Surrounded by a large number of wealthy men and women who spends their money on expensive Italian food, Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn are seen sitting on the table and eating some

Gwen Stacy: Mmmm. The risotto is really good here

Harry Osborn: I told you that you'll like the food here. Vinicio is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city

Gwen Stacy: But it's too expensive. You sure you're okay with spending this much?

Harry Osborn: Gwen, don't worry. Tonight it's just you and me having a good time, and besides. Isn't this what you asked for?

Gwen Stacy: I guess, but I was thinking the two of us would just see a movie or hang out at your place

Harry Osborn: Mom is busy meeting with executives in her office. She would need some alone time

Gwen Stacy: Oh…

Harry Osborn:… What is it, Gwen?

Gwen Stacy: Oh it's nothing. Just nothing

Harry Osborn: Gwen, what's wrong?

Gwen Stacy: I told you, it's nothing

Harry Osborn: Gwen

Gwen Stacy:

Harry Osborn:

Gwen Stacy:… I met Peter today

Harry Osborn:… Oh… Him

Gwen Stacy: Harry… I saw him with some bruises on his face, and I saw some bandages on his hands

Harry Osborn: Because he's been taking pictures of him, of Spider-Man?

Gwen Stacy: Harry

Harry Osborn: You can't expect us to just talk about him knowing what he got himself into?

Gwen Stacy: Harry, he's our friend and I don't know why you're showing less concern for him

Harry Osborn: Well I'm sorry for trying, but you know what he is. Hell, he's been speaking to us less and less. So why bother now?

Gwen Stacy: Because, Harry. He's-

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen?

Gwen Stacy:

Recognizing that voice, Gwen turns and sees Nick Lewis Jr with Janice Foswell

Gwen Stacy: Nick? And Janice?

Janice Foswell: Oh it's you again. Hello

Nick Lewis Jr: And Harry Osborn

Harry Osborn: Nick Lewis Jr? I'm surprised that you're here

Nick Lewis Jr: Same here. You two are on a date or something?

Gwen Stacy: We are, and you too?

Janice Foswell: That's right. Nick here thought we would try something more exquisite, but what I did not expect was something Italian. Although I don't see the point to why it has to be an Italian

Gwen Stacy: Well why not? I mean Italy happens to possess an extraordinary and beautiful culture. Their language alone is something to be fascinated, and they even have a way with how their food is displayed in an artistic and cultural manner

Janice Foswell: Oh well I find that boring

Nick Lewis Jr: Actually I agree with her. I've always love myself some Italian culture, and food have a way to do that. You learn new culture through only a plate and the taste it brings

Gwen Stacy: That's true

Nick Lewis Jr: Heh

Gwen Stacy: Hehe

Harry Osborn:

Janice Foswell:… So… How about we go to our table then-

Nick Lewis Jr: I was thinking we should sit here

Janice Foswell: What?

Harry Osborn: Really?

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah. Why not?

Gwen Stacy: Are you sure? I mean we don't want to interrupt you both on something

Janice Foswell: Yes, Nick. Let's not

Nick Lewis Jr: Don't worry. I would have someone new to hang around with, and it'll be nice to have some company

Gwen Stacy: Alright. Harry, is okay with you?

Nick Lewis Jr: Harry?

Harry Osborn: I guess its okay, but you think the restaurant would allow it?

Nick Lewis Jr: Don't worry. My godfather owns this place

18 Minutes later

The four are seen eating together, as Gwen with them about her field

Gwen Stacy: So what we're doing at ESU is finding a way that can allow us and adapt other uses of the environment that can help us build a fundamental eco system. What we are now looking on is the use of how water can eventually be turned into an alternative for fuel

Nick Lewis Jr: Wait. Turn water into fuel?

Gwen Stacy: That's right. You see by using a method called electrolysis water can react with the oxygen from the air, either through burning in a combustion engine or catalyzed to produce electricity in a fuel cell. Generating enough power that will see us reduce the use of fuel like gasoline

Janice Foswell: Ghh. That sounded boring

Gwen Stacy: But that can also help the environment

Harry Osborn: Well I think its okay. Although it's not what I would expect us listening to

Gwen Stacy: Harry

Nick Lewis Jr: Well I think it's pretty cool, and you know what. I would applaud you for doing something that will help the environment

Janice Foswell: Wait. You seriously find that interesting?

Nick Lewis Jr: Why not? A car powered by water instead of fuel? That's something

Gwen Stacy: Well we're not the only ones. It turns out there have been some companies that have also funded this kind of project

Nick Lewis Jr: Well I'm sure you'll make it through first before anybody else

Gwen Stacy: Thank you, Nick. I really appreciate that

Janice Foswell: Well I would rather just talk about how college does for you with your upcoming trip to Florida

Harry Osborn: College? You're in College?

Gwen Stacy: He is. In fact Nick is studying in Business architect. He's got high marks from that test he took

Nick Lewis Jr: Damn right I did

Janice Foswell: How'd you know that?

Harry Osborn: Yeah. How did you know that?

Nick Lewis Jr: Funny story. It turns out Gwen's internship is at ESU. That's where I studying

Janice Foswell: At ESU?

Harry Osborn: And how old are you exactly?

Gwen Stacy: Nick turned 21 few weeks back

Nick Lewis Jr: It was a fun time. Although it was just too much noise to handle

Gwen Stacy: But you made it out okay

Nick Lewis Jr: And still standing

Gwen Stacy: Heheh

Nick Lewis Jr: Heh

Janice Foswell:… How do you know when his birthday is at?

Gwen Stacy:… Umm. Well-

Nick Lewis Jr: I told her when we had some coffee together

Harry Osborn: You had coffee with him?

Gwen Stacy: At Silver Spoon. I was doing my homework there, and Nick appeared. So we sat and had some coffee together

Harry Osborn: Why didn't you tell me about that?

Gwen Stacy: We were just hanging out. There was nothing going on?

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah, Harry. You should trust your girlfriend more

Harry Osborn: I do, but-

Gwen Stacy: But what, Harry?

Harry Osborn: It would have been nice to have let me know about it

Gwen Stacy: So you'll make a big deal out of it?

Harry Osborn: I don't make a big deal out of it

Nick Lewis Jr: Well it sounds like you are right now. So you take it easy on Gwen, okay?

Gwen Stacy: Really Harry. It's nothing. So relax okay

Janice Foswell:

Vinicio Restaurant: Ladies Bathroom

A couple of minutes later, Gwen is seen freshening herself up in the mirror by the sink, while just realizing and thinking about what happened on the table

Gwen Stacy: So relax okay? Come on, Gwen. Just… get a hold of yourself. You're supposed to be Harry's boyfriend. You're suppose to have Nick ease up on him, so why didn't you? Maybe… I do like him abit. I mean he's smart, funny, charming… and I guess he's cute, but he's also with Janice. So what's wrong then? Maybe… I'll have to think about that later on. Just maintain yourself and you'll be fine… Better get back out there

As she turns, Gwen then sees Janice who is also in the bathroom

Gwen Stacy: Janice?

Janice Foswell:… Hello, Gwen. You're doing alright?

Gwen Stacy: Yeah. I'm doing fine

Janice Foswell: Good, because I have this to say… Who are you?

Gwen Stacy: Excuse me?

Janice Foswell: I mean who the hell you are anyway!?

Janice angrily approaches and confronts Gwen on her face. Which left he quite confused

Gwen Stacy: J-Janice?

Janice Foswell: I mean it! Some girl Nick met one day and then all of a sudden you two are becoming chummy

Gwen Stacy: What?

Janice Foswell: I'm going to say this to you, Gwen Stacy. I suggest you back off from Nick. He's my boyfriend and I won't have some geek girl with an interest having cars run by water spending time with him

Gwen Stacy: Nick and I are just friends, Janice

Janice Foswell: Then why did I just hear that you two have been spending some quality time behind my back, behind your so-called boyfriend back?

Gwen Stacy: Nothing is going on between us, Janice. Okay?

Janice Foswell: Oh really? Because I saw the way Nick looked at you, and I see something that I don't like

Gwen Stacy:… What?

Janice Foswell: You listen to me well, Gwen Stacy. Nick is mine understand. I don't care what he does with you, but I expect that you of all people should know your place in this society

Gwen Stacy:… What's that suppose to mean?

Janice Foswell: You know what I mean. You don't belong in our world, and you certainly don't have squat in what he sees you

Gwen Stacy:

Janice Foswell:… Keep your distant the next time you see him. Understand

Making he point clear, Janice left the bathroom with an intent to keep Nick for herself, but Gwen was left confused from what has just happen. Unsure what she meant when Janice said on how Nick looked at her

Present Day

Midtown Manhattan Magnet High School : Science Lab

With the school completely empty, Gwen Stacy is seen on one of the tables as she was studying a small portion of the Globulin Green and sees the possibility of increasing its effect

Gwen Stacy: It's effective, but not strong enough. Not strong for it to be used against him. I need a larger batch for it to be successful. I need… AAAGH!

Gwen suddenly felt a deep ache from her body as it urges her to take more Globulin Green while green markings slowly appear from her arm and neck

Gwen Stacy: N-No! W-Will… n-n-not let this h-happen to… m-m-me

Taking from another table she had prepared, Gwen has luckily managed to create a new serum out of her remaining batch. Drinking the new serum as it eases the aches from her body and seeing the green markings slowly disappearing

Gwen Stacy: *pant* *pant* *pant* A-Agh… Ah. A-Alright. Effects… of this new serum… proves possible. I must *pant* thank Dr. Connors… for that. Effects of this… Globulin Green… slowly acceleration… the spreading… in my body. Unsure how long… I have. No time… I need… a plan. A plan… to bring… them all down

Four Season's House

Whitney Chang's Apartment: Bedroom

Waking up with a pounding head feeling and feeling drowsy with nausea, Whitney Chang finds herself in her bed with a bag of ice on her head along with a pounding feeling

Whitney Chang: Ah… Aowh… Ow, my head. Oh god it hurts. What the… what's that smell?

Whitney then smells something coming from outside her bedroom

Whitney Chang: Who the heck?

Whitney Chang's Apartment: Kitchen/Dining Room

Whitney got out from her bedroom and sees Peter cooking stew, as she has been left wondering why he's here

Whitney Chang: Peter?

Peter Parker: Oh hey, you're awake

Whitney Chang: What… are you doing here?

Peter Parker: What does it look like? I'm making you stew

Whitney Chang: I can see that, but… Ow

Peter Parker: Your head is okay?

Whitney Chang: Are you kidding me? What happened?

Peter Parker: You don't remember?

Whitney Chang: No. Why? Did I do something?

Peter Parker: Look at the corner and see

Whitney looked at the corner and was surprised to see a large bag containing lots of empty beer bottles

Whitney Chang:… What the?

Peter Parker: Yeah

Whitney Chang: Oh god. Is that why my head is killing me so much!?

Peter Parker: That and you banged your head on the floor real hard

Whitney Chang: What?

Peter Parker: Yeah

Whitney Chang: How did that happen?

Peter Parker: Oh I don't know. Maybe because you were crazy drunk on the floor that you wanted to have sex with me after you kissed me, and then you grabbed me from behind after I said no and you bit my ear, which really hurt by the way

Whitney Chang:… I did-

Peter Parker: Yeah

Whitney Chang:… And I-

Peter Parker: That's right

Whitney Chang:… Oh god

Peter Parker: Take your time

Whitney Chang: Oh god! What the fuck!?

Feeling shocked and disturbed to know that she attempted to have sex with Peter while she was drunk, Whitney sat down and placed her head on the table while her head still aches

Whitney Chang: Oh fuck me hard

Peter Parker: That's what you said to me

Whitney Chang: Oh god, Peter. I'm really sorry about that

Peter Parker: Don't worry about it. I've had my share of strange encounters

Whitney Chang: That's still no excuse. I'm supposed to be the adult here and instead I behave like a teenage slut that wants to get boned alot. And I kissed you!?

Peter Parker:… I really do not want to think about that for now

Whitney Chang: Oh god, what the fuck is wrong with me? How long was I out?

Peter Parker: Over 4 hours

Whitney Chang: And you've been here all this time?

Peter Parker: Why not? I can't just leave you alone like that. Plus I'll worry if something bad happens to you. Besides, I called my Aunt May and let her know I'm looking after a friend so I'll be home for a while

Whitney Chang:… You've been looking after me? Why?

Peter Parker: Do you need a reason for it?

Whitney Chang: Other then the fact that you're speaking to a journalist/reporter who knows your secret identity and you're just here to spy on me

Peter Parker: Heh. That actually crossed my mind for abit

Whitney Chang: So why then?

Peter Parker: Because strangely enough… I actually do like you, Whitney Chang . And despite your… phase or whatever it is you're in, you're actually pretty cool. Hell, ever since the day I met you I had to keep my identity hidden from you because I don't even know what you were capable of, but ever since you knew my identity as both Spider-Man and Ronin you've done what I didn't think you would do. You kept my identity a secret all this time. I should be grateful for that

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker: Stew's going to be finished for a few minutes. So in the meantime I got a glass of ice water for you

Pete picked up an empty glass and head to her fridge. Pressing the lever and pouring a glass mixed with ice and water. Handing it to Whitney on the table

Peter Parker: Here. This would freshen you back up again

Whitney Chang:… Thanks

Whitney picked up the glass of ice water and drank it. Giving her head a slight freeze, but has gotten her slightly sober a bit

Whitney Chang: Agh. Fuck, my head

Peter Parker: Still not helping

Whitney Chang:… No it helped a bit, but I think coffee would have helped

Peter Parker: Heh. Sorry

Whitney Chang: It's okay… and thanks

Peter Parker: Don't worry about it

Whitney Chang: No I mean it. Thanks… for taking care of me

Peter Parker: Well I have to say… Thanks for being a friend

Whitney Chang: Heh. So I'm your friend now? Last time you didn't want me to be your partner

Peter Parker: I know, and look at us now. Times have changed for us both

Whitney Chang:… Yeah

Peter Parker:… I've found something while I was clearing up

Whitney Chang: Oh yeah. Well what did you find? Some embarrassing photo of my high school years?

Peter Parker: No. This

Peter held in his hand a photo and placed it on the table for Whiney to see, which revealed to be a photo of her younger self with a blonde-haired man. Surprising Whitney as she turned to Peter

Peter Parker: This was on the floor when I was clearing the bottles out

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker:… Who is this guy, an old boyfriend?

Whitney Chang:… Peter… I… I don't know if… If I would-

Peter Parker: If you don't want to say then don't, but I just want you to know that… You can trust me. The same way I trusted you

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker: Now I think it's time we have some stew on the table. Interested?

Whitney Chang:… Sure

Peter Parker: Great. Just give me a moment

Peter then open the shelves and took out two bowls with spoon and placed it on the kitchen counter. Turning of the cooker and pour the stew with a large spoon and brought in to the table for both himself and Whitney. The two sat together and tasted the stew Peter made, which Whitney found it to be quite good

Whitney Chang:… Wow. Wow, this is really good

Peter Parker: Glad you like it

Whitney Chang: So you know how to cook, Peter Parker

Peter Parker: Yep. Especially with my Aunt May's recipes coming in handy

Whitney Chang: Come again?

Peter Parker: That cook-book you got on the table over there. My Aunt May published that

Whitney Chang: Oh wow. I didn't realize that

Peter Parker: Yeah

Whitney Chang: Well your Aunt May does know her recipes

Peter Parker: That she sure does. Probably why she's planning on making another one

Whitney Chang: Oooh. Can't wait

Peter Parker: Heheh

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker:… You're wondering why I'm here aren't you?

Whitney Chang: Well isn't it obvious?

Peter Parker:… I just… I needed to get away for a while. Get my head straight from all of this

Whitney Chang: Why? What' going on?

Peter Parker:… A student from my school died

Whitney Chang: What?

Peter Parker: Yeah… She was found dead in an alleyway. I just came from her funeral

Whitney Chang: Oh god

Peter Parker: And you know what's worse. Is that I let something like this happen

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker:… I'm failing, Whitney. I'm failing to save anyone and I don't even know what to do now. It's like every decision I've made tends to make things worse for everybody, and I don't even know if I would ever make amends for it

Whitney Chang: Peter… This isn't your fault. You had no idea something like this would have happened

Peter Parker: But I could have stopped it. I could have saved her. I could have saved everyone, but instead I keep letting people down. And now they're dead because of me. They're dead because of me and I don't even know what to do. I'm so useless now. So useless that I can't save anyone anymore, and now with this it just makes things even worse. Lindsay is not even enough, but what happened at the Vandemere Hotel, and… It's just a fight I'm not even sure if I can win. I'm in too deep for me to get out now

Whitney Chang:… What about your friends?

Peter Parker:… I cut my ties with them. I thought it would be better for them if I didn't even exist in their lives. Figured it would be best for them so that they can be safe so that they won't get hurt, because in the end that's what happened when they're with me. I just… I had to let them go. I can't risk their lives anymore… I just can't

Whitney Chang:

Peter Parker:… Let's face it. I couldn't save anyone as Spider-Man, and I couldn't save anyone as Ronin. For me to take one stupid decision after another… I'm not good enough. Not smart enough to do anything right. I don't even know if I even have it in me to continue this

Whitney Chang:… Peter

Peter Parker: Yeah, Whitney?

Whitney Chang:… You're a fucking idiot

Peter Parker: What?

Whitney Chang: Are you hearing yourself right? Do you honestly believe this is the best way to help anyone? Believing you can keep them safe just by shunning them off?

Peter Parker: People are dead because I couldn't do anything

Whitney Chang: You couldn't do anything because you can't. You're still a teenager for crying out loud, but here you are trying so hard for something you can't control. That's not healthy

Peter Parker:

Whitney Chang: Look. I get what you're saying, but that's just stupid.

Peter Parker: But I have a responsibility to make

Whitney Chang: That doesn't mean every problem in this city has to be your responsibility. That's impossible for you to just say that you're going to save every single life in the city

Peter Parker: I know, but… I feel like I need to do this or else people are going to get hurt

Whitney Chang: Peter. I don't doubt how much of a great person you are, and for going out every single day to do incredible things for this city, but you are just killing yourself for trying to commit on something that is too impossible for you to handle. You may have the power to do all sorts of incredible things, but you're still a teenager that tries so desperately hard on something he can't control. No matter how much you try you're not a god. In the end you're still human like everybody else, and that is something you can't change. All that matters that you remain what you are, and that is being a really good person that's willing to do so much. That is your real power and you are going to do so many great things with it

Peter Parker:… I just… I need something to believe in, or else I'll just go crazy

Whitney Chang: I know, but that's still won't help if you believe in something that's too impossible for you to handle. And that's why I'm coming back to another point

Peter Parker: And that is?

Whitney Chang: Your friends, Peter

Peter Parker:

Whitney Chang: You want something to believe in? You believe in making the right choice so that you can give back in return for what they've given you. You may not know it, but having friends is what gives you the strength to have a purpose in life and strive to be even better, and when you fall so much they will be there to pick up the pieces and pull you back up. Without friends, you'll be a sad lowly nobody with an empty purpose, and what's even the point for you to even do this? I know you wanted to protect them, but this isn't even the way

Peter Parker:… You really think I shouldn't?

Whitney Chang: Of course not. What kind of a sad sap would you be?

Peter Parker:

Whitney Chang:… You need them, Peter. Just as they need you, or else you are just going out there feeding your stupid ego and deluded yourself to something meaningless because you are not part of something that is more genuine

Peter Parker: Part of what?

Whitney Chang: That underneath the mask lies a real good person who is also the most sweetest guy I know that would take care of a person no matter how stupid or drunk they can be

Peter Parker: Heh. You're talking about yourself?

Whitney Chang: Who do you think?

Peter Parker:… Thanks, Whitney… I mean it

Whitney Chang: Well you did save my ass. It's only natural that I return the favor

Peter Parker: Heheh

Whitney Chang: Heh

27 minutes later

After finishing their stew and cleaning up the dishes, Peter head to the door and decides to head home as Whitney stood

Peter Parker: Well, today was good

Whitney Chang: Unexpectedly it is

Peter Parker: Thanks again, Whitney

Whitney Chang: I should be the one thanking you for taking care of me… and not taking advantage of me while I was drunk

Peter Parker: Come on, Whitney. You know me better

Whitney Chang: Heh. Yeah, and sorry about the… you know… that thing

Peter Parker: I don't know what you're talking about

Whitney Chang: You know very well that I…

Peter Parker:

Whitney Chang:… Heh. You really are a good guy

Peter Parker: Heh

Whitney Chang: Thanks

Peter Parker: Don't worry about it

Peter raised his hand to shake hers, but Whitney instead approached and tightly hugs him

Peter Parker: Whitney?

Whitney Chang: God I wish you were 18 so I can just date you already. Hell, a part of me really wish you did fondle me for while I was drunk

Peter Parker: Heheh

Whitney Chang: Thanks for being a gentleman, Peter. *smoosh*

Whitney then kisses Peter on the cheek, while leaving him slightly embarrassed

Peter Parker: Uh…

Whitney Chang: Heheh. Consider that a reward for being sweet

Peter Parker:… Heh

Whitney Chang: Now go. Your Aunt might worry

Peter Parker: Thanks Whitney. I'll see you soon

Whitney Chang: Take care

Peter left the apartment as Whitney closed the door

Amazing Comic Cave

Missy Kallenback enters the comic store in hopes that Peter would be here as he met Stu

Stu: Missy

Missy Kallenback: Stu, is he here?

Stu: Sorry. Peter hasn't arrived yet

Missy Kallenback: When you think he will show up?

Stu: How would I know? That guy can be secretive sometimes, but what do you expect from a Bugle photographer

Missy Kallenback:… I… I thought maybe… he would be here

Stu: Hey, you okay?

Missy Kallenback: Y-Yeah. I'm fine. It's just

Stu: What?

Missy Kallenback:… The prom is tomorrow, and… I was going to ask Peter out

Stu: Seriously?

Missy Kallenback: Y-Yeah

Stu: Well good for you, Missy

Missy Kallenback: Heh

Stu: Man if Mitch and Lou were here then they would freak. You have a dress yet?

Missy Kallenback: No. I haven't got a dress

Stu: What, why?

Missy Kallenback: I… was busy making preparations with the prom tomorrow

Stu: Well that's no excuse

Missy Kallenback: I just didn't have much time. So… yeah

Stu: Well didn't your mom and dad help you buy a dress. Or rent one for that matter?

Missy Kallenback:… They… are buys… with work and… I shouldn't do anything

Stu: Well that's stupid. Going to a prom with no dress is like Cinderella with no glass slippers

Missy Kallenback: Heh

Stu: Fine then. Stay for a while, but not long. I have to close early today

Missy Kallenback: Why, Stu?

Stu: Because Missy, I got a date tonight

Missy Kallenback: Really?

Stu: Yeah. Met this girl name Linda through "TERA Online", and we sort of hit it off there

Missy Kallenback: That's great, Stu. I'm happy for you

Stu: Not as much as I'll be happy for you when you finally asked Peter out

Missy Kallenback: Heh

Stu: That guy better be here soon. Don't want to keep a girl waiting

Missy Kallenback:… Yeah… I hope so too

Watson House

Mary Jane returns home and calls out to her family, which his mother and aunt are in the kitchen

Mary Jane Watson: Mom, Aunt Anna?

Madeline Watson: We're here sweetheart

Mary Jane sees both her mom and aunt in the kitchen making dinner

Mary Jane Watson: Hey you guys

Anna Watson: I'm glad you're home Mary Jane.

Madeline Watson: Is everything alright?

Mary Jane Watson: Yeah it's fine, but the feeling hasn't gone away

Madeline Watson: I can't imagine. I don't even know why it has come to this

Mary Jane Watson: You mean the fact that it all happened right after Spider-Man was killed

Madeline Watson: You mean that costume menace that the Bugle newspaper warned us about?

Mary Jane Watson: He's not a bad guy, Mom. I even met him

Anna Watson: So did I. That young man even helped me when me and May during those awful men with their suits and dangerous equipment

Madeline Watson: Well it still doesn't change the fact that all this was because of him. Those people with powers and things they do

Anna Watson: Would you please stop it, Madeline

Mary Jane Watson: What did she mean?

Anna Watson: It's nothing dear. Your mother just isn't use to people with extraordinary gifts

Madeline Watson: Gifts? It's more like a dangerous curse. They would put many of us at risk. For all we know this Spider-Man could be a mutant

Anna Watson: Madeline

Mary Jane Watson: Are you for real, Mom?

Madeline Watson: Forgive me, but I just haven't gotten use to people like that

Anna Watson: Regardless, those people with powers are still people none the less. I don't know why you won't be opened minded about it

Mary Jane Watson: Yeah

Madeline Watson: I'm open to those, but I just don't feel safe having them around. The world is already mad as it is, and now we have those super-powered people running around while the government does nothing to regulate them

Anna Watson: Those mutants or super-humans are just people that wish to help other people like us to feel safe, and the government won't do their jobs right unless we do something to ensure they are responsible for our well-being. I don't want men like that Senator Robert Kelly to spread anymore hate on people that didn't deserve it

Madeline Watson: Is that what you believe, Anna?

Anna Watson: Of course I do. The amount of tax-payers money being made should be spent on providing education, social programs, and jobs for the people on the streets, not having spent building more prisons and spend more on military ventures. Politicians lately are corrupted with only their money and ideology. Even the good politicians have always been brushed off like that nice man, Senator Lieber. I've always liked him

Madeline Watson: Always putting civil rights above all, Anna

Mary Jane Watson: Can we please not have this at the moment?

Madeline Watson: I'm sorry, sweetheart

Anna Watson: I hope you're hungry because we've made dinner. Call your sister from upstairs. She's in her room

Mary Jane Watson: Sure

Mary Jane Watson head upstairs to call down her sister, but as she was about to Mary Jane then hears her talking on the phone to someone. Listening from the open door as she hears what's going on

Mary Jane Watson: Gayle?

Gayle Watson: Y-You… You really mean it. O-Okay I… No, my mom doesn't know… I'll call you soon… I love you… Timmy

Mary Jane Watson:… No

Recognizing that name, Mary Jane enters the room just as Gayle hangs up her phone. Appearing surprised that her younger sister came back and heard the whole thing

Mary Jane Watson:

Gayle Watson:… M-Mary Jane!?

Mary Jane Watson:… Timmy, as in Timmy Byrnes!?

Gayle Watson: Mary Jane, just listen

Mary Jane Watson: I don't believe you!

Gayle Watson: MJ wait!

Mary Jane angrily heads downstairs to her mom and aunt as Gayle follow

Gayle Watson: Mary Jane, just listen to me!

Mary Jane Watson: I just cannot believe you still called that jerk!

Anna Watson: Mary Jane?

Madeline Watson: What's wrong, sweetheart?

Gayle Watson: Its nothing, Mom

Mary Jane Watson: Gayle just called Timothy Byrnes!

Madeline Watson: What!? You're still calling that man!?

Gayle Watson:

Madeline Watson:… Oh my

Anna Watson: Timothy Byrnes? That awful young man that cheated on you!?

Gayle Watson: It was a mistake. He said it was

Mary Jane Watson: Are you seriously brain-dead, Gayle!?

Anna Watson: How could you still be in contact with that man, and after what he did to you!?

Gayle Watson: It's not what you think

Madeline Watson: Then what, Gayle?

Mary Jane Watson: Really!? And what makes you say that!?

Gayle Watson: This is different now!

Mary Jane Watson: In what way exactly!?

Madeline Watson: Gayle. That man is nothing but trouble to you. You know that, and yet you still called him!?

Gayle Watson: Listen. I know what you're trying to say, but Timmy really wants to make this relationship work

Mary Jane Watson: Are you serious!? Have you forgotten the number of times that guy cheated on you!?

Anna Watson: Gayle. You need to stop this now. This fantasy of yours cannot go any further

Gayle Watson: What fantasy?

Mary Jane Watson: You know what she means. This is a guy that has been nothing but a back-stabber all you life, and what's sad about it is that this guy still drags you in a leash like a dog

Gayle Watson: What did you say?

Anna Watson: Gayle, just stop. This isn't healthy anymore. You know what kind of a man he is

Gayle Watson: This is going to be different now. I promise

Mary Jane Watson: How exactly!? Are you going to stop seeing him!?

Gayle Watson: Why can't you just butt-out of this, Mary Jane!?

Madeline Watson: Girls

Mary Jane Watson: Because it's Timothy Byrnes! The guy you had a relationship with in highschool, who happens to be the Captain of the football team, and who is also a womanizing jerk! You know had sad this is!?

Gayle Watson: Look! I know alright, but I just can't give up knowing that there is still a chance for us to work

Madeline Watson: There is no point, Gayle. You will just have your heart broken by this man again and again

Anna Watson: Honestly, Gayle. Will this ever stop?

Mary Jane Watson: Gayle, this is not highschool anymore, and this fantasy of yours will never have a happy ending! You need to drop this guy or you'll forever be hooked by him. It will never change between you two

Gayle Watson: But what if it does!?

Madeline Watson: It won't. Sweetheart, I know what you must feel, because what you feel is exactly how I felt

Gayle Watson: And how would you know how I feel, mom? How?

Madeline Watson: Because I was exactly like that with your father and look what has happened to us now! So tell me, Gayle, do you want that life with your own children!?

Anna Watson:

Mary Jane Watson:

Madeline Watson:… I gave up everything to be with your father. I had a chance to be an actress one day and I gave it up to be with him. The only good thing I had from him was you and Mary Jane being born, but after that everything has changed. He has changed, and the man I've fallen for disappeared. It took me a long time and a number of therapies to finally realize what a mistake it was that I was still with that man after all these years of his abusive behavior! I had to try my best to shield you girls. To protect you from the reality that I've been brought in, but I can't anymore! Not this time

Gayle Watson:… But… it would get better… right?

Madeline Watson:… No. No it won't… That's why I've decided to divorce your father

The girls and Anna are surprised to hear that Madeline intends on divorcing their father

Gayle Watson:… What?

Mary Jane Watson: Wait, seriously?

Anna Watson: You're divorcing Phillip?

Madeline Watson: Yes, and now we're in this subject I have also decided that we'll be staying here in New York

Mary Jane Watson: Really?

Madeline Watson: Yes sweetheart. I've found a place for us in the city so that we can all live together

Gayle Watson: But… what about dad?

Madeline Watson: He will no longer have a place with us

Mary Jane Watson: That's amazing news

Madeline Watson: I know, and I want to make sure I make up for all the things I didn't have a chance to do

Anna Watson: Phillip won't forget this

Madeline Watson: It doesn't matter. I will not let that man ruin me anymore, and Gayle. I've sheltered you enough to prevent you from seeing the world as it is, but now its best that you finally come to terms with where you are now, and that starts with you putting that man behind you along with your old life. Find someone new here

Gayle Watson:… I can't… I just can't

Madeline Watson: Gayle, just stop

Mary Jane Watson: Gayle, snap out of it

Gayle Watson: I'm sorry

Feeling upset, Gayle rushes upstairs into her room. With Anna, Mary Jane, and Madeline watching and getting worried of her

Mary Jane Watson: I don't believe this

Anna Watson: I don't understand what has made her into this

Madeline Watson: It's my fault. All these years I've shielded her from everything that has been going on I've never taken into account how much that has affected her viewpoint. Still clinging on to the belief that the life we had would get better. I should have raised her better

Mary Jane Watson: She'll snap out of it, mom. She has too

St Mary Ann Hospital: Lydia Hardy's Patient Room

Felicia is in her usual black office suit as she is seen sitting next to her mother sleeping from exhaustion. Her mother opened her eyes and started to wake up as she turns to her daughter who he sees is sleeping peacefully as she tries to wake her up

Lydia Hardy: F-Felicia dear?

Felicia Hardy: M-Mom? Mom, you're awake. How do you feel?

Lydia Hardy: I'm getting better now

Felicia Hardy: The doctors said that you'll be making a full recovery soon. You'll probably stay for a few days, and after that you can leave

Lydia Hardy: Well that's good to hear. Maybe some fresh air will do me some good

Felicia Hardy: Dad should probably hear about this. He's been worried about you

Lydia Hardy:

Felicia Hardy: Mom?

Lydia Hardy:… Is your father still in prison?

Felicia Hardy: Not for long. He'll be out soon, and then maybe we can think of something about our lives together

Lydia Hardy: It still won't change anything

Felicia Hardy: It will, Mom. Once he's out then everything will be better

Lydia Hardy: You don't understand, Felicia

Felicia Hardy: What's to understand, Mom? That he's going to spend the rest of his life behind bars and we'll never see him again?

Lydia Hardy: An innocent man died by his hand, Felicia

Felicia Hardy: It was an accident

Lydia Hardy: One he regretted as he had no intention of using a gun

Felicia Hardy: But Mom

Lydia Hardy: Felicia. You do not understand that the things we do have its limits

Felicia Hardy: What dad was doing is trying to make ends meat so that we can food on our plate

Lydia Hardy: Felicia. We can't always be greedy and not think about the consequences, or else it will make us no better then they are. Think how you would feel if your father was somehow killed?

Felicia Hardy: It won't come to that

Lydia Hardy: But think, Felicia? To lose someone close to you… someone very important to you that meant the whole world to that person. It can change the way people would view the world, and what comes is the resentment, hate, and something much worse. To see that person walk away from your life is just heartbreaking, but to see that person disappear from your life is much worse

Felicia Hardy:

Lydia Hardy: We all have our limits, and perhaps we have reached ours. Time can do that to all of us

Felicia Hardy:… Things will be better. I promise it will. We still have enough money that will last us till our retirement

Lydia Hardy: But it won't bring back the happiness we've lost

Felicia Hardy: Mom-

Lydia Hardy: Stop, Felica. J-Just stop. I know what you wanted to say, but stop

Felicia Hardy:… I just want things to go back the way they were

Lydia Hardy: I know. I do too, but things have changed now

Felicia Hardy:

Lydia Hardy: When your father is out of prison then we'll see what to do next. Maybe we'll think about starting a new life

Felicia Hardy:… Maybe

Empire State University : Research Lab

Arriving with her father, Liz Allan quickly enters the door and meets with Curt and Martha Connors

Liz Allan: Dr. Connors!

Curt Connors: And good afternoon to you too

Wilson Allan: Sorry about my daughter, but she's really eagered to see her brother again

Martha Connors: Well I don't blame her

Liz Allan: Is he here?

Curt Connors: He's in my office changing his clothes

Martha Connors: And here he comes

Coming out from Connor's office is Mark Allan in his civilian clothes, but still wears the collar around his neck. Mark turns and sees both his father and sister smiling to see he's fine

Mark Allan: Dad. Lizzy

Wilson Allan: Mark

Liz Allan: Marketo, you're okay

Liz rushes towards him and hugs Mark tightly as he hugs back

Liz Allan: Oh Mark

Mark Allan: I miss you too, Lizzy

Wilson Allan: So is he alright? Is he cured?

Curt Connors: Not quite. All we've done is allowed him to have full control of his powers, but the collar around his neck should help him suppress his powers until our friend in Florida sends us the cure

Wilson Allan: How long will that take?

Curt Connors: I'm not sure, but he said it will arrive soon

Martha Connors: But in the meantime you make sure you don't remove that collar or get it wet

Mark Allan: So what would I do now?

Curt Connors: Well you parole officer did sign you up on this program to help individuals such as yourself. And with the help of your father you'll be discharged this afternoon, but your parole officer will keep you on tabs until you are confirmed to be part of society

Martha Connors: So once you're clear you go out and enjoy life with you family. Just don't do anything that will get you in trouble. I was told you had a gambling addiction

Mark Allan: Trust me. It's behind me now that I know, and I won't waste this chance I've been given

Curt Connors: I'm sure you won't, son

Wilson Allan: I'll make some arrange for his release

Martha Connors: I'll have the paperwork in the office

Wilson Allan: Alright. Mark

Mark Allan: Yeah dad?

Wilson Allan: Welcome back, son

Wilson move close and hugged his son as he went with the Connors to their office, while Liz and Mark continue to hug. As if things are starting to get better

Liz Allan: I'm so glad you're coming home, Mark

Mark Allan: Same here Liz. How are things

Liz Allan: I don't even know where to begin. Things have gotten completely insane these past couple of days

Mark Allan: I heard. Somebody from our school died?

Liz Allan: Yeah. The funeral was today

Mark Allan: Whoa

Liz Allan: Don't worry though. Things are going to get better. I know it is

Mark Allan: It will be better. I promise you

Liz Allan:… I really needed you, Mark. Now more then ever

Mark Allan: I know, and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I promise you I will make things up

Liz Allan:… Mark

Liz emotionally hugged him and was almost in tears, while Mark comforts her. Understanding that he will not try to make things worse and loose this chance to make things right for her and his dad

Parker House

Peter returns home from Whitney Chang's place, and sees Nico and May sitting on the couch and watching TV

Peter Parker: Hey you guys

May Parker: Welcome home, Peter

Nico Minoru: Hey there, Pete. How's that friend of yours

Peter Parker: Doing better

Nico Minoru: I still couldn't believe it though. You know Whitney Chang?

Peter Parker: I don't know her exactly that way

May Parker: But you two are friends right?

Peter Parker:… Yeah. I guess we are

Nico Minoru: Still couldn't believe it. You knew a big shot reporter?

May Parker: Me neither. It must be exciting

Nico Minoru: Unless there is something else behind the reason why

Peter Parker: There's nothing. Alright

Nico Minoru: Heh. Yeah right

May Parker: Oh and Peter, there was a phone call for you from Silver Incorporated. They want to see you at this place called Attolini Tailor shop in downtown Manhattan

Peter Parker: What?

May Parker: The address is on the table next to the phone. They said it was important that you come this afternoon because tomorrow you've been invited for some special event

Nico Minoru: And they didn't even bother asking us to come

Peter Parker: Did they ask what it's about?

May Parker: No, didn't they tell you?

Peter Parker: They didn't

Nico Minoru: Must be important

Peter Parker: Maybe. Better go

May Parker: You sure it's alright with you, dear?

Peter Parker: I'll be okay

Nico Minoru: When you do go make sure you take your other stuff

Peter Parker:… Alright I will

May Parker: What other stuff

Nico Minoru: It's very important stuff he can't leave behind when he goes out

Peter Parker: Shut up

Nico Minoru: Hehe

Peter picks up the note on the table and heads upstairs to his room to change into his normal clothes, while the two sat on the living room and watch TV. Showing the recent events on what has happened as some gang activities on parts of the city are lessening while dead bodies are being found daily, but also sees some people on the screen holding up pictures of Spider-Man

May Parker:… Things have truly changed now

Nico Minoru: I know. Nothing has ever remained the same since then

May Parker:… I missed him, that young spider person

Nico Minoru: What?

May Parker: I remember encountering him when he protected me and Anna from that awful rhinoceros man a year ago. Trying so hard to protect everyone that he never thought about his own safety

Nico Minoru: Yeah I know

May Parker:… I've met one of the neighbor's son recently. He was seen wearing a Spider-Man costume. Believing that he's still alive even though we know what happened to him. That poor young man helping others like us in our need. I remember him saving my life once a year ago, and now this happens

Nico Minoru:

May Parker: It seems many of us need men like him now more then ever, but I'm not even sure there will be others like him, but at least we now know a hero when we see one

Nico Minoru: Why?

May Parker:… There have been too few characters out there flying around and saving old girls like me and many others, but god knows the young generations need a hero like him. Courageous, self-sacrificing people saving lives. Setting examples for all of us

Nico Minoru:

May Parker:… Heh. Everybody loves a hero. We lined up to see them and we cheer for them, because they taught us to hold on a second longer, and we often tells stories how we stood in the rain for hours just to see them

Nico Minoru: Why?

May Parker: Because they represent the best of us. They show us what we are capable off and see what can be achieved. His Uncle Ben and his father, Richard, were like that when they were young. Hearing stories about how their father fought in World War 2 and met Captain America for the very first time. It gives them hope and an inspiration to do good and to do right. No matter what life throws at you

Nico Minoru:… You believe that?

May Parker:… I believe that there is a hero in all of us, Nico. Those that have kept us honest, noble and finally allows us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the things we want the most. Even our dreams, because nothing is worth sacrificing for the greater good then to defend the dreams of others. They became your strength and soon your legacy, so that they can pass it on to others to do good. Even in the most hardest of times. Isn't that's what more important?

Nico Minoru:

May Parker: Heh, but look at me. Talking nonsense at a day like this… I just wish that there is someone out there who would carry a legacy so important. Or else what would be the point?

Nico Minoru:… There will be someone. I'm sure there is

May Parker: I hope so, dear. I hope so

Nico Minoru:

May continues to watch on screen the number of people that have came on the streets to remember the deceased web-swinger, while Nico was left in her thoughts thinking. While it happens, Peter was seen on the stairs wearing his civilian clothes with his bag and overhears what his Aunt May has said about Spider-Man. Can't help but put a smile on his face after hearing what she says about him, and starts to wonder for abit until he walks downstairs as the two women heard him

Peter Parker: Hey you guy. I'm going out

May Parker: Alright. Just take care of yourself out there

Nico Minoru: And Peter?

Peter Parker: Yeah Nico?

Nico Minoru:… Just… do good out there

Peter Parker: I will, and thanks

As Peter left the house with his bag, which she knows is his Ronin costume, Nico starts to think about her superhero life before she arrived in New York. Thinking if she could have done more while protecting the Bloodstone and her new family, knowing that she would be risking her own identity

Nico Minoru:… Will it be alight if I go out for a short bit, Aunt May?

May Parker: Alright, but why?

Nico Minoru: I need to check up on something… Something I've had my eye on for a while

Parker House: Nico's Room

Nico is seen looking though her bag for some things as she took out a thick plastic bag. Opening it and takes out a sum of money from it

Nico Minoru: Yeah. This will be enough. All I need now is some materials of my own

Somewhere in Manhattan

Gwen is seen walking down the streets while feeling exhausted as she tries to make it way home

Gwen Stacy: So tired. Got… to make it home. Need to think… my next move

As she walks, Gwen unintentionally hits a student wearing a Hawthorne Academy uniform on the arm

Gwen Stacy: Ah. Sorry!

Janice Foswell: Hey you watch it you lowly… Gwen?

Gwen Stacy:… You

Gwen turns to see a familiar face she knows. Janice Foswell

Gwen Stacy: Janice… Foswell?

Janice Foswell: Gwen… Stacy

Gwen Stacy:

Janice Foswell:… You look like a mess

Gwen Stacy: Well you look the same

Janice Foswell: How flattering. How are you then?

Gwen Stacy: I've been better

Janice Foswell: Really, because I notice that tired look on your face. Been busy much?

Gwen Stacy: You can say that

Janice Foswell: Well at least I know how to look fresh

Gwen Stacy: Really. I wonder then

Janice Foswell: Are you judging me, Stacy?

Gwen Stacy: Well isn't that all you do to everyone?

Janice Foswell: I'm of higher class, and I have a reputation to defend. I'm sure you of all people would understand that

Gwen Stacy: That usually depends on who you're asking

Janice Foswell: My haven't you gotten bolder

Gwen Stacy: You have no idea how much since then

Janice Foswell:

Gwen Stacy:… It's been months since I last remember seeing you

Janice Foswell: Months of me remembering your face since the last time we've met

Gwen Stacy: I know, and I sometimes wonder how much you've changed since then

Janice Foswell: Well I wonder how many hearts you've broken since then

Gwen Stacy:

Janice Foswell: It really is easy for you isn't it? I always wondered what it is to have some boy surprisingly becoming interested in something they see. Maybe you have something mysterious you give out to take that person away from a girl like that

Gwen Stacy: Only if maybe that girl should have done a lot of effort to take their relationship seriously

Janice Foswell: How dare you. How dare you judge me like you are above me?

Gwen Stacy: I'm not judging. Or else why would Nick even grew tired of you

Janice Foswell:

Gwen Stacy:

Janice Foswell:… It's good seeing you again, Gwen. I hope this won't be the last

Gwen Stacy: The feeling's mutual

Janice Foswell:

While they looked and confront each other face on with words, the two walked away feeling annoyed with each other, but Gwen stopped with an idea as she turns to Janice

Gwen Stacy: Janice!

Janice Foswell:

Gwen Stacy: I forgot to mention something

Janice Foswell: Oh, and is it another of your bogus excuses

Gwen Stacy:… Nick is out of prison

Janice Foswell:… What?

Gwen Stacy: Yes. I've heard from a friend of mine. I thought you should know

Janice Foswell:

Gwen Stacy: I'll see you again, Janice

Gwen turns around and walks off while smiling sinisterly, as Janice's face started to appear worried knowing that Nick is now released

Janice Foswell:… Nick… Oh Nick…

Lewis Penthouse (Formerly)

Entering his former Penthouse that his father previously owned, Nick Lewis Jr looks around the place covered in white sheets. Approaching one white sheets on the wall and pulls it down, which revealed to be a portrait of his father, Nick Lewis Sr and the criminal known as Crime-Master

Nick Lewis Jr: Hello, Dad. I'm home

Looking around the place, Nick walked towards the window over-looking the city and sees the beach. Remembering the beach house he has there and the memories that came with it. One of the memories he had the most fond of is Gwen Stacy

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen. How did it come to this?

Nick Lewis's Flashback

Less then 6 months ago

Nick Lewis Jr's Beach House: Front Door

( Ding-Dong )

Nick Lewis Jr approaches and opens the front door and meets with Gwen Stacy, who is seen holding a bag of container full of left-over food

Gwen Stacy: Hey Nick

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen. You're here

Gwen Stacy:… I… needed to be with some friends right now

Nick Lewis Jr: Sure. Come in

Nick Lewis Jr's Beach House: Inside

Gwen walked in through the hallway with Nick and stood on his living quarters

Gwen Stacy: Sorry to come uninformed

Nick Lewis Jr: It's okay. Feel like needing some company

Gwen Stacy: Where's your godfather?

Nick Lewis Jr: Doing some business stuff with his perfumes

Gwen Stacy: Does he always work this much?

Nick Lewis Jr: This is the life isn't it?

Gwen Stacy: Well at least I know what you do with your spare time

Nick Lewis Jr: Heh. So what's wrong?

Gwen Stacy: It's Harry… He and I had an argument, and… well I just needed to get away for a while

Nick Lewis Jr: Why? What was it about?

Gwen Stacy:… It was about a friend of mine he's been a jerk too… and I don't know what to do about him. It's like he's-

Nick Lewis Jr: Turned into some egotistical nutcase that's full of himself

Gwen Stacy: Yeah. How'd you know?

Nick Lewis Jr: I've encountered people like that. Mostly they've tied to suck it up to my dad. Some people I've met tend to sometimes annoy me

Gwen Stacy: Oh really. Is there anybody else that you've grown to adjust from it?

( Beep )

Just now, Nick's answering machine recorded a message of a loud party from a caller he knows well. Janice Foswell

Janice Foswell (on answering machine): Hey Nicky, it's me! You're dear and sexy Janice! Please pick up the phone because I am so feeling high and drunk right now and I really miss you! You should have been here with me in this party! I am wearing so much skimpy outfit that you wish you would do me in this party right now! It's so awesome and thank god my dad doesn't even know about this! My friends are making out with a couple of guys here and some of them are trying to flirt with me! I could totally would, but I love you my Nicky poo! Please yell at my ear loud! Love you!

The phone hangs up as the message ends. Leaving Gwen and Nick somewhat disturbed by what Janice said as they look at each other

Nick Lewis Jr:

Gwen Stacy:… Was that Janice?

Nick Lewis Jr:… Are you hungry?

Nick Lewis Jr's Beach House: Kitchen/ Dining Room

Playing "The Twist" by "Chubby Checker", Nick is seen placing butter on a pan while Gwen is chopping some vegetable as they are making an omelette. Nick raised the volume up as the two enjoy themselves while dancing with the song

Nick Lewis Jr: You like this song?

Gwen Stacy: I do. When I was a kid my mom and dad listen to this song all the time. Sometimes my dad dance with me with this song

Nick Lewis Jr: Hah! That's nice

Gwen Stacy: Hehe

Nick Lewis Jr: ( singing ) Come on baby let's do the twist

Gwen Stacy: ( singing ) Come on baby let's do the twist

Nick Lewis Jr and Gwen Stacy: ( singing ) Take me by my little hand and go like this

Nick Lewis Jr: ( singing ) Eeeeeooooh twist baby baby twist

Gwen Stacy: ( singing ) Oooooh yeah just like this

Nick Lewis Jr and Gwen Stacy: ( singing ) Come on little miss and do the twist.

Gwen Stacy: Hehehehe

Nick Lewis Jr: Hahaha

Gwen Stacy: Hahahaha

Nick who poured in a small bowl of beaten eggs as Gwen finished with the chopped vegetable and put it in

Nick Lewis Jr: Very nice

Gwen Stacy: Thank you

Few minutes later, Nick and Gwen are seen on the dining table and eating their omelette

Gwen Stacy: This is pretty good. You really know your cooking

Nick Lewis Jr: Why thank you, Gwen

Gwen Stacy: Heh

Nick Lewis Jr: Heh.

Gwen Stacy:

Nick Lewis Jr:… So tell me. This friend of yours, did you really mean this Peter Parker guy

Gwen Stacy:… Yeah

Nick Lewis Jr: I see… And what happened?

Gwen Stacy: We've… stop seeing each other. Ever since then Peter has almost completely disappeared from our lives

Nick Lewis Jr: And Harry?

Gwen Stacy: I don't even know where to begin. He's changing, Nick. And I'm starting to become really sick of him, but-

Nick Lewis Jr: He's trying to win you over with more gifts?

Gwen Stacy:

Nick Lewis Jr:… He's starting to sound desperate to keep you by his side

Gwen Stacy:… He does. And I'm starting to pity him for that. It's like he's trying desperately for people to like him. He's not thinking straight anymore

Nick Lewis Jr:… You need to confront him about this. This can't continue anymore

Gwen Stacy: I know…

Nick Lewis Jr:… And truth is… I can't do it with Janice anymore

Gwen Stacy: What do you mean?

Nick Lewis Jr:… I'm thinking about breaking up with her. She's really starting to annoy me now and I can't stand her anymore. She's different now then the first time I've met her, and all because she couldn't let go of the fact that she didn't become a model

Gwen Stacy:… I guess it's her own way of just trying to fog everything that happened

Nick Lewis Jr: I know, and it irritates me that she sunk this deep

Gwen Stacy:… Looks like we're both on that end

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah. Relationships are seriously complicated

Gwen Stacy:

Nick Lewis Jr:

18 minutes later

Nick and Gwen are seen cleaning up the dishes together and tidying up the table

Nick Lewis Jr: This was nice

Gwen Stacy: It is

Nick Lewis Jr: Guess I should thanks you

Gwen Stacy: I should be thanking you. I needed this

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah…

Gwen Stacy:… I heard you're finishing college soon?

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah I am. Might get a diploma, and I could be in my own business one day

Gwen Stacy: That's great. Thinking of taking over your godfather's perfume business?

Nick Lewis Jr: I was actually thinking about doing something else

Gwen Stacy: Oh?

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah. Like in a countryside where there's no noise or any trouble. Hell this city has plenty. I just really want to do something more meaningful with my life. Do some good rather then just have some strings attach

Gwen Stacy: Well if you feel like it then I'll support you

Nick Lewis Jr: Thanks. You've been really nice to me

Gwen Stacy: And you've been a sweetheart to me

The two now finish cleaning up the plates

Nick Lewis Jr:

Gwen Stacy:… I think I have to go home

Nick Lewis Jr: You sure? I mean its okay to stay for a couple of minutes

Gwen Stacy: I would, but it's getting late or else my dad will worry and try to call me

Nick Lewis Jr: Alright… You want a drink before you go?

Gwen Stacy: Yeah sure

Nick Lewis Jr: Alright. Made some home-made orange juice for you to try

Gwen Stacy: Oh, yummy

Nick went to one of the cabinets as he took out two glasses and handed one to Gwen as he takes out a plastic jar of orange juice

Nick Lewis Jr: Here

Gwen Stacy: Thanks

( Breeeet )

Suddenly Gwen's phone rang from her pocket as she picks it up and sees it was her father

Gwen Stacy: Speak of the devil

Nick Lewis Jr: Heh. Does he check up on you all the time?

Gwen Stacy: Most recently when I was kidnapped

Nick Lewis Jr: Wait, you were kidnapped?

Gwen Stacy: I rather not say, but yeah

Nick Lewis Jr: Whoa

Gwen Stacy: Hang on for a sec

While she turned around to reply back to her father and held her glass, Nick held the plastic jar of orange juice and poured it on his glass as Gwen finished replying and turned

Gwen Stacy: There. At least my dad won't have to worry

Nick Lewis Jr: Yeah. Here's some orange juice

Gwen Stacy: Thanks. I-

( Slam )

As she turned, Gwen accidentally hit the plastic jar of orange juice and caused it to drop as it spilled on the floor

Nick Lewis Jr: Whoa!

Gwen Stacy: Oh my god, I'm so sorry!

Nick Lewis Jr: It's okay

Gwen Stacy: No it's not okay. Where are your kitchen towels?

Nick Lewis Jr: Over on that table

Gwen Stacy: Hang on I'll get it

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen its fine. I'll clean this up

Gwen Stacy: I caused you to drop it. I'll clean this up

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen-

Gwen Stacy: It's fine. I'll ( slip ) Whoa!

Nick Lewis Jr: Whoa!

( SLAM )

Both stood on top of the spilled orange juice as the two slipped and fell on the floor hard. With Gwen on the bottom and Nick on top of her

Nick Lewis Jr: Ah

Gwen Stacy: Ow. That hurts

Nick Lewis Jr: You okay?

Gwen Stacy: Yeah. It's my fault. Sorry

Nick Lewis Jr: Don't worry about it

Gwen Stacy: No I'm sorry. I- *smoosh*

Nick Lewis Jr:

Gwen Stacy:

As the two were about to get up from the floor, Gwen unexpectedly lifts up he head and accidentally kissed Nick on the lips. Leaving the two completely stunned and surprised by what just happened

Nick Lewis Jr:

Gwen Stacy:… I… I'm sorry. I should-

Nick Lewis Jr: Don't

Gwen Stacy:

Nick Lewis Jr: Just… don't

Gwen Stacy:… N-Nick… I… I- *smoosh*

In a sudden move, Nick grabs Gwen's head and kisses her while he pins her down on the floor as Gwen was unable to release herself from his grip but felt slowly kissing him back. Suddenly, the front doorbell rang as Nick and Gwen stops

Gwen Stacy:

Nick Lewis Jr:… I… should go get that

Gwen Stacy:… Okay…

Nick got up from the floor and head to the front door and was surprised to find it was Janice Foswell, who appears to be wearing a sort-of skimpy clothes

Janice Foswell: Nicky poo!

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice?

Janice Foswell: Well come here you!

Janice moves in and gave Nick a kiss, as he pushes her back

Nick Lewis Jr: Ack! What the hell!?

Janice Foswell: Sorry. I had too much to drink, and I think I threw up abit

Nick Lewis Jr: What are you doing here, Janice?

Janice Foswell: Can't a girl see her man at this time?

Nick Lewis Jr: Shouldn't you be at home at this time?

Janice Foswell: Why. You got someone with you?

Nick Lewis Jr: Yes I do

Janice Foswell: What!? Who is-

Gwen Stacy: Janice?

Janice looked behind Nick and sees Gwen

Janice Foswell:… Oh. It's you

Gwen Stacy:

Janice Foswell: What's she doing here?

Nick Lewis Jr: She just came to visit

Janice Foswell: Oh really, about what exactly?

Nick Lewis Jr:

Gwen Stacy:… Nothing. Nothing important

Janice Foswell: Huh. Figures

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice

Janice Foswell: What? What is she even doing here?

Nick Lewis Jr: She's… just here to talk about stuff

Gwen Stacy: Yeah… and I was about to leave

Nick Lewis Jr: What?

Gwen Stacy: I have to get home now or my dad will worry. Bye, Nick

Nick Lewis Jr: Gwen

Janice Foswell: Bye Gwen. Hope you don't get mugged

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice!

Gwen Stacy:

Gwen left the house and heading home while feeling stunned after she kissed Nick, despite still having Harry as her boyfriend. Nick on the other hand watched her go and feeling concern for her, while he turned to Janice and felt mad about he behavior while she goes inside the beach house

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice

Janice Foswell: So what's for dinner tonight?

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice!

Janice Foswell: Or maybe we could have dessert. I'll let you lick me with some strawberries

Nick Lewis Jr: JANICE!

Janice Foswell: What!?

Nick Lewis Jr: What the hell is wrong with you!?

Janice Foswell: What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you?

Nick Lewis Jr: Are you kidding me, look at what you e wearing!?

Janice Foswell: Why, do you like? Everyone at the party did

Nick Lewis Jr: And those kind of people tend to be frat boys and rapists

Janice Foswell: I've worn this just for you, and you didn't even bother coming to the party. So I had to go alone in this

Nick Lewis Jr:… What has happen to you, Janice?

Janice Foswell: Nothing. I'm great, now you have any beer in your fridge?

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice, stop now!

Janice Foswell: Can you not shot!? My head feels dizzy as it is!

Nick Lewis Jr: Enough! Seriously, enough!

Janice Foswell: Or what, Nick!? What!?

Nick Lewis Jr:

Janice Foswell: Fuck. You're starting to behave like my dad

Nick Lewis Jr: Are you purposely trying to fuck yourself up?

Janice Foswell: This is me in my happy moment! I've literally drank up to god knows how many beers and I threw up on the road while I punch some skank in the face for calling me a bitch

Nick Lewis Jr: Guess what, Janice! You are one!

Janice Foswell: What!?

Nick Lewis Jr: Look at you! Just seriously look at you! Have you literally just fucked up to the point were you rather get banged up on the street by some random guy!?

Janice Foswell: Well that's a funny way to say that to your girlfriend!

Nick Lewis Jr: Even after her boyfriend know that she has still not gotten over with the fact that she lost her chance of becoming a model to the Bishop girl!

Janice Foswell: Don't you judge me! Don't you ever judge me!

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice… Look at you. You look ridiculous

Janice Foswell: So what do you expect me to do!? Huh!? I couldn't accept the fact that my so-called best friend betrayed me and got t he modeling instead of me! It was my dream and I can't let it go!

Nick Lewis Jr:… Janice… this has to stop. You are being redi- *smoosh*

Janice suddenly kisses him, but Nick pushed her back and feeling annoyed by her

Nick Lewis Jr: Stop

Janice Foswell: What's wrong?

Nick Lewis Jr:… I've been patients up until now, and you are really starting to annoy me

Janice Foswell: Don't be like that, Nick. Please

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice. You have lost it. There are so many things I could have helped you, but this is not it because you have completely fucked up with your life. And you have possibly no idea how stupid your reason for being like this is!

Janice Foswell: HOW WOULD YOU UNDERSTAND, NICK! HOW COULD YOU!?

Nick Lewis Jr: Janice!

Janice Foswell: YOU DON'T EVEN TAKE ANYTHING SERIOUS ABOUT ME! ALWAYS ABOUT YOU AND NOT ME! HELL YOUR DAD PAID BETTER ATTENTION TO ME!

Nick Lewis Jr: SHUT THE FUCK UP! JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP NOW!

Janice Foswell:

Nick Lewis Jr:

Janice Foswell:… I'm sorry… I'm sorry about mentioning your dad, but-

Nick Lewis Jr: Get out

Janice Foswell: Nick, please. I-

Nick Lewis Jr: GET OUT! JUST GET THE FUCK OUT NOW!

Janice Foswell:… Nick-

Nick Lewis Jr: Get out, or I will throw you out… NOW!

Janice Foswell:

Seeing Nick angry, Janice quietly went to the front door and left. Leaving Nick feeling angry by the thought of her mentioning his father like that, as he remembers how he died. Leaving him to question what he really wants to do with his life

Nick Lewis's Flashback End

Lewis Penthouse (Formerly)

Nick Lewis Jr looks across the window while thinking about how it has come to this. Suddenly his phone rang as the call came from his godfather

Nick Lewis Jr: Kingsley

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): Nick. Just wanted to call and see how you are in your father's penthouse

Nick Lewis Jr: The décor hasn't change one bit

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): Your father has a certain taste when it comes to how he wants his sanctuary to have, and that man certainly has style

Nick Lewis Jr: I already know what kind he likes. I take it you're done?

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): There is still one more gang that will be a problem to us later on. Best we deal with them now for they'll be a problem later. Also it will be a good workout for our new recruit

Nick Lewis Jr: Alright.

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): Will it be alright if I include the Stacy girl as well in this?

Nick Lewis Jr: No. I still want to know some things, and we know that her time is almost up due to our Globulin Green serum. In the meantime, see to it that this operation goes smoothly, and once you're done meet me here. We need to discuss the matter with the Manfredi

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): I'll see you soon, and in the meantime stay out of trouble

Nick Lewis Jr: Please, Kingsley. You know me well that I will

Roderick Kingsley (on phone): Heh. I'll see you soon

Nick hangs up the phone and turns to the portrait of his father

Nick Lewis Jr: Alright Dad. You want me to be the new Crime-Master? I'll have to sort something out first

Four Season's House

Whitney Chang's Apartment

Whitney is seen resting on her couch as she looks at the photo of her and Jacob. Still feeling saddened about his death. Suddenly her phone started to rang on the table as she gets up and answers it

Whitney Chang: Hey there. Who is this am I speaking?

Monica Chang (on phone):… Hi, Whitney

Whitney Chang:… Monica?

Monica Chang (on phone): Yeah

Whitney Chang:… Fuck you. I'm hanging out now

Monica Chang (on phone): No wait don't! Whitney, please… Let's just talk

Whitney Chang:… What do you want?

John F. Kennedy International Airport : Departure Waiting Area

Monica Chang is seen sitting on the waiting area holding her bag as she awaits her flight, while speaking to her younger sister on the phone

Monica Chang: I'm at the airport now. My flight is leaving soon… So…

Whitney Chang (on phone): Oh you're leaving. Good. Don't let a fucking missile hit you on the way out

Monica Chang: Whitney

Whitney Chang (on phone): What do you want, Monica?

Monica Chang:… Mom called you this morning about her and Dad dropping me off. You never came

Whitney Chang (on phone): Well why do you think I didn't

Monica Chang:

Whitney Chang (on phone): Speak your mind and get it over with

Monica Chang:… Whitney… It's been 6 years since you and I have last seen each other since… Words cannot describe how sorry I am

Whitney Chang (on phone): Oh here it goes

Monica Chang: Whitney-

Whitney Chang (on phone): Do you honestly believe things would go back the way it was just by a simple apology? After everything you've done?

Monica Chang: Whitney, if there was any chance that I would go back and undo what I did then I would

Whitney Chang (on phone): That still doesn't excuse the fact as to how it happened

Monica Chang: What happened with… It was an accident, Whitney. I never meant for it to happen

Whitney Chang (on phone): I'm sure it would have been worse if it was me who you shot instead

Monica Chang:

Whitney Chang (on phone): 6 years it took me to finally put that behind me, but then you came back into my life and looking at you made me relive that moment again. Reminded me once more why I hated you so much… Why I never wanted you in my life again, because you took away the one thing that was so important for me-

Monica Chang: I didn't know you were pregnant

Whitney Chang (on phone):

Monica Chang: Whitney… I had no idea you were pregnant. Had I known I would have ensured that nothing would ever happen to you, but when you lost your baby… That was the most heart-breaking moment I have ever felt for you. Mom and dad couldn't believe it as well… I couldn't believe it. We just never thought… I just never thought

Whitney Chang (on phone):… You know what I couldn't believe since that day? Is that Jacob will never know that our child is gone, and what made it worse for me is that I will never even have the chance to walk down the aisle as a bride

Monica Chang: Please, Whitney… Please…

Whitney Chang (on phone): You destroyed me. All of it done by your hand, Monica, and who knows how may other lives you ruined. How many more families did you destroy in your pursuit in what you call defending us? And all because you just follow orders and shoot first while not think about the consequences that follow. Just like any other good soldier with no conscious of their own

Monica Chang: I put on that uniform thinking about you. Thinking about our family and why I did in what's needed to be done in order to save live

Whitney Chang (on phone): Yeah and what price did you pay in what you called saving lives? Whose lives did you even mean about saving in the first place? The men and women that tries to ensure their families have food on the table and a roof over their heads, the people that study for a better education and find a better job for their future, the neighbors born with a different race, faith, and love that unite together a community into a family, or a country you occupy just to get their resources, the coups and dictators we've supported to maintain our control, the fear and the establishment that they try so hard to defend when it's killing this nation and the division it creates

Monica Chang:

Whitney Chang (on phone): You are an egotistical bitch, Monica. Everything you do is just to feed your ego just to show that you are the bigger adult, but in fact you're no different then the rest of them

Monica Chang: Whitney-

Whitney Chang (on phone): Why do you even bother call me anyway. Knowing that things will never go back the way they were

Monica Chang: And that's what I don't want. I don't want things to be this way anymore. I still love you, Whitney, because all I've ever remembered is us when we were kids and how much fun it was. Like how I use to sneak in candy after you had that tooth decay pulled out for eating too much candy, or how we use to laugh at watching all those old Saturday morning cartoons about that stupid super-powered monkey, and how I always protected you with the bullies kept on picking you because of that bow you wore on your head. We thought you were cute in that

Whitney Chang (on phone):… I was 7 years old back then

Monica Chang: Yeah, and you stopped wearing that bow when you turned 9, but that still didn't stop us think how cute you were. How you've grown from that little baby into this, because that's what I still see you as. My baby sister who I never wanted to see grow up, and that broke my heart even more because I am still reminded how much I've failed you

Whitney Chang (on phone):… What is it that you really want from me?

Monica Chang:… I… I want to make amends with you. I want my sister to come back into my life again. Go back to the way things were, and the good times we had together back then. I know I wasn't the best sister, but I want us to start again… I want my baby sister back…

Whitney Chang (on phone):

Monica Chang:… Whitney… Speak to me… Please…

Whitney Chang (on phone):… You were right about one thing

Monica Chang:

Whitney Chang (on phone):… It's been 6 yeas since we've last seen each other, and only this has change… It is too late for us to be ever considered as sisters

Monica Chang:… Whitney… Don't. I-

Whitney Chang (on phone): Goodbye

Whitney hangs up the phone. Leaving Monica feeling upset that her relationship wit her sister has been fractured heavily. Unknown to her the recent choices she has made since returning

Monica Chang's Flashback

Yesterday

Chang House: Living Room

Few hours after Whitney left the house angrily, Monica is seen with her parents as she broke the news to them about a decision she has made

Edward Chang:… You

Lucy Chang:… You what?

Monica Chang:… I quit the military. Handed my resignation a few days back

Lucy Chang:… You quit the military?

Edward Chang: But why, Monica?

Monica Chang: Because I can't take it anymore. I can't just pretend that nothing is wrong with what we are and what we have done. I keep telling myself that it was for the best for our nation, but really it hasn't benefited us at all. Only more fear and hate

Edward Chang:

Lucy Chang:

Monica Chang:… I've lost was my honor out there. For the first time in my life I now realize that all it has ever given me was the fact that instead of risking our own lives for the value of our nation we lay down our own lives for the ideology of corrupt men and old fools that knows nothing of order and freedom. All we've ever done was just to control and bully these people into submission to make it easier to harm the people we were suppose to save. We've treated those people as if they are not human, and it sickens me to think that we've fallen like that. Three good commanders I have high respect for was suddenly drafted onto another company, and was replaced with a Colonel was a bigger piece of shit I've ever met. Forced to cut off all our conscience as if they are meaningless, and even though we've fulfilled our mission the resulted however was that more people got killed… People that didn't deserve it… and what happened was so horrible that I don't know how I would describe it… There was this village… that our intelligence believe was housing terrorists cells and that we also believe they've stored dangerous weapons there, but as we went in we nothing something that's not right. I recommended that we call it of so that we would know if the intelligence, but that was rejected and we went in anyway. The village was burned down after hours of fighting. After that we went in we've discovered that the village we attacked… had no terrorist cells, no deadly weapons, nothing. It turns out we've attacked the wrong village, and civilians there were killed because of our mistake… There I encountered a female villager who was found dead with her husband, and to make it even worse for is that she's just 7 months pregnant…

Edward Chang:

Lucy Chang:

Monica Chang:… Seeing her like that. It made me think about Whitney and how she lost her baby and Jacob… How she lost them both because of me, and now with this… Making another mistake that cost the lives of many more, and I… I saw some of my friends fell into depression, and some even deserted the military because they can't stand it, but what's shocking is that the person I've looked after couldn't take it from the guilt after that. And so he put the gun on himself and pulled the trigger

Edward Chang: What?

Lucy Chang: Oh god

Monica Chang:… Everything has changed now. The military itself has changed from an honest defender of liberty and freedom into nothing more then just the biggest joke of all. It is now an army of liars, backstabbers, fools, and bullies. The few good Sergeants and commanders are getting out as soon as they can, and they are telling others like us to do the same. All these people ever need is help, and yet what they get is having a gun at their faces and telling them that they are a bunch of stupid apes that have no idea how to live. We don't even care about hearing other soldiers running children down in the dirt streets with our armored trucks. We make fun of them in front of their faces, and laugh at them for not understanding we are insulting them, and it's both embarrassing and revolting to think we would even be there to do anything. Just us fighting another war for resources and control. A war where there is no honor for us because they won't even care what happen to us. To all those soldiers laying down their lives and come back mentally broken, fractured bodies, or in a coffin. I can no longer take this insult anymore… I can't. So I left. I left the life I was suppose to defend and never look back

Lucy Chang: Oh sweetheart

Edward Chang: Are you going to be alright, Monica?

Monica Chang: I'll be fine. The truth is leaving the military gave me a new perspective on how I see the world now and what I can do

Edward Chang: So what will you be doing now?

Monica Chang: What I should have done, and that's to help people. To do good, and make the world a better place. It took me a long time but I was contacted by someone who said I can make a difference. To help the innocent in need, and provide what they need to survive on their own

Edward Chang: You mean like a charity organization?

Monica Chang: In a way, it is

Lucy Chang: But what kind of organization is it?

Monica Chang: It's funded by a couple of international organizations and some independent corporations from all around the world. It's not much but the pay is good, and I think this is something that is best suited for my skills. Hopefully this will be the answer I would need and regain the honor I've lost

Lucy Chang: Are you sure about this, Monica?

Edward Chang: You've always had an interest in the military at a young age and we've never thought you would do something that is outside the kind of interest you're pursuing

Monica Chang: Trust me. This is the answer I need, and I have never been sure about anything in my life before. I have to do this… I need to do this

Monica Chang's Flashback End

Still sitting at the airport, Monica picked up a photo from her pocket of her when she was 8 along with her family and holding a 5 year old Whitney in her arm. Remembering those times made her smile for abit. Just then, a woman wearing a suit and sunglasses appeared to meet with Monica in person, as she stood up

?: Lieutenant Chang?

Monica Chang: I am, and you must be the one that was sent for me?

?: I amand it is a pleasure to meet you at last

Monica Chang: Like wise, Agent Morse

Bobbie Morse: Please. Call me Bobbie

The agent known as Bobbie Morse saluted her as Monica saluted back

Bobbie Morse: I understand you are here to see your family?

Monica Chang: I did, and its best if I don't speak about it

Bobbie Morse: Fare enough. Just remember that in this organization we operate in the highest level of discretion. Independently funded by international sponsors and community, but your salary will be 3 to 5 times more then your regular military salary

Monica Chang: I don't care about the money. I only care about performing my duty for the greater good

Bobbie Morse: Well in that case are you ready to dedicate your life to serve something much bigger then your country, Lieutenant Chang?

Monica Chang: I am. For me to redeem my honor, I am more then ready to serve this path

Bobbie Morse: Well then. Let me be the first to say welcome. To the "Strategic Headquarters International Espionage Logistic Directorate"

Monica Chang: SHIELD huh. Is there anything else I should know about?

Bobbie Morse: Believe me. You'll find that out very soon

Four Season's House

Whitney Chang's Apartment

After that phone call, Whitney still feels upset that she had relived that experience as she tries to forget that she had ever called as she turns on her TV. Flicking some of the channels and sees people on the streets holding pictures of Spider-Man, with some kids wearing make-shift costumes of him as they chant his name

Whitney Chang:… Oh why the hell not

Thinking about how Spider-Man meant to people, Whitney realizes she needed to do something to help Peter in this gang-war situation and dialed the number on her phone to someone she believes could help

David Hine (on phone): Hello?

Whitney Chang: David

David Hine (on phone): Whitney?

Whitney Chang: Hey David

David Hine (on phone): Oh god, what happened to you? You suddenly called and saying you want sometime off

Whitney Chang: Yeah I did, but listen, David. Are you busy or anything?

David Hine (on phone): What?

Whitney Chang: David

David Hine (on phone): Uh, no, but why?

Whitney Chang: I need some help from you on something

David Hine (on phone): What do you need?

Whitney Chang: Rumors of sightings and encounters

David Hine (on phone): On whom, Ronin?

Whitney Chang: No. Menace

David Hine (on phone): Say what?

Whitney Chang: I need your help, David. I need help in finding Menace

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello everyone and sorry about the delay. I was feeling so unwell that I wasn't even well enough to continue this story. I'm still unwell now, but I had some time to do this. Honestly it did not worked out for me because I intended for this chapter to be more longer as I wanted to get to the prom bit soon. I've been rewriting this chapter 11 times now and I wasn't even sure if I got the parts right. So I had to cut some of it down and leave it for the next chapter. Which sucks for me because I intended to add some action scenes and hopefully get to the prom bit, but I have some trouble with the timing and how the dialogues are met. So as of this point the Prom will appear a chapter later after the next chapter, but hopefully I will try to do better and if I'm lucky I could try to do the prom

Anyway, there are now more flashbacks and now shows the interactions between Gwen Stacy and Nick Lewis Jr, but Janice Foswell is not liking this. The Watson family will have some drama ahead of them as I'm not done with what I got. Monica Chang is now joining SHIELD and will hopefully appear again in the next volume. My version of SHIELD will have a different origin, which I won't say until then. And lastly, Nico might join Peter later on in this gang-war

Also, you've all say to me that I should do the mature themed story, and I say alright then. I'll get to work on it but it will be a long time until it pops up as I have other stories to do currently

Thanks for your patience and I will try to get it up soon if I'm well enough
