With recess in session, Kate, Britney, Priscilla, and Josephine are seen having their lunch as they talk, despite some of the male students staring at them as word of Kate's modeling career has been known
Kate Bishop: Oh god, I so can't stand this. Ugh, I can already imagine what they'll be thinking while I'm in those magazines
Britney Amber Fox: Get use to life of being a model Kate, because that's going to sting
Kate Bishop: Is that how it works for you?
Britney Amber Fox: At first, but the lesser ones here know I am way out of their league, but this would boost the Academy's image that a famous pop star is studying here

Entering the cafeteria are three girls Kate, Priscilla, Josephine and Britney recognize as not only belonging to the families of wealthy stock brokers, but is also Hawthorne's own in-crowd. Janice Foswell, Edna Blackquill, and Amy Powell, as they approached Kate and her friends
Kate Bishop: Ah nuts
Janice Foswell: Katherine Bishop, it's so good to see you
Amy Powell: Hey there Katherine
Edna Blackquill: Katherine Bishop
Kate Bishop: Hey Janice, Edna, Amy
Janice Foswell: So I heard about your modeling career, are there anything else you want to get to feed your already perfect life?
Amy Powell: And what's the dorkette doing here?
Priscilla Ironwood: Huh?
Britney Amber Fox: Hey don't diss our girl here
Josephine Bricklemoore: She happens to be our friend if you need to know

Janice Foswell: Yeah, listen to your queen. Better not ruin that image of hers, because prom night is coming and you wouldn't want any incident to happen now do you

The three girls walked away, with some of the students feeling tense after thinking something's going to happen, while the girls looked on
Priscilla Ironwood: She hasn't change abit
Kate Bishop: Yeah she has… She used to be my friend

Britney Amber Fox: Yeah. Exactly what happened between you and Janice anyway?

As the three girls are seen walking, Janice then harshly bumps onto Missy with her lunch tray, causing the food to fall on her uniform, with the students saw what happened and laughed at her
Missy Kallenback: Ah
Janice Foswell: Watch were you're going nerd
Amy Powell: Yeah, you nearly hit her shoes

Showing a hint of sadness, Missy left the Cafeteria, as Kate watched her in sympathy
Somewhere in New York
On a busy road Felicia is following the red Lamborghini Urus-SUV in her motorbike, with curiosity getting the better of her as she sees the vehicle driving fast
Felicia Hardy: Well they seem to not slow down at all. Just what is the rush with them, and what's going on back there?
Inside the SUV, Peter is seen on the back seat putting on his Ronin costume, while Whitney drives quickly
Whitney Chang: Gang way coming through!
Peter Parker: You mind keeping this ride in one piece!
Whitney Chang: Sorry, not an option right now!
Peter puts on his mask and move to the front seat
Ronin: So what is this emergency that you need me for?
Whitney Chang: Remember the meeting with the Sinister Syndicate, were Derek Bishop handed whatever's in that briefcase
Ronin: I remember, so what about it?
Whitney Chang: Last night some super-powered guys bust in to a hospital and stole two packs of blood
Ronin: How'd you know it's the Syndicate?
Whitney Chang: Because there was a security photo taken, and I recognize one of them from the St Gabriel Bank incident. You don't forget a costume that colorful
Ronin: So they just stole blood. Whose is it?
Whitney Chang: The blood belongs to both the Maggia and the Karnelli crime family, and I have a feeling whatever's in that briefcase might be something
Ronin: And you know this how?
Whitney Chang: I don't know, just call it a hunch
Ronin: A hunch, for real!?
Whitney Chang: I use to read comic books when I was a kid alright, and isn't weird crazy stuff usually happens in your crazy world!?
Ronin:… Most of the times, so why the rush?
Whitney Chang: One of my contacts mentions a wedding involving the Maggia and the Karnelli. And it's today
Ronin: Wait, you think something's going to happen?
Whitney Chang:… I don't know
Vandemere Hotel: Reception Hall
In a hall filled with men, women, and children of both young and old the two families of the Maggia and the Karnelli celebrate the union of one of their own in this special occasion
Vandemere Hotel: Basement Floor
The Inner Demons have dealt with the security guard and staff as they are seen installing a machine in the main vent, while fitting the Devil's Breath poison. Scorpion is seen with Wizard, Kraven, Rhino, and Boomerang, while observing the process
Wizard: The Security cameras are dealt with
Boomerang: All the guards just bit the dust
Kraven: Well that is not nearly as a challenge then I hoped
Boomerang: So why be here at all Kraven
Kraven: I know the prey I seek will come and I will have my challenge
Scorpion: You'll have your challenge Kraven soon
Rhino: So what's the deal with this stuff anyway?
Wizard: We'll get to that, but right now time is of the essence
Scorpion: This is a wedding Wizard. A minute or two won't hurt us
Scorpion then turned on her headset and contacted Beetle outside
Scorpion: Beetle, do you read?
Outside Vandemere Hotel
Beetle is then seen outside in front of the hotel speaking to Scorpion from his headset
Beetle: Ah, its you lady Scorpion
Scorpion (from headset): Is everything secure?
Beetle: All looks lovely today. You won't be expecting any trouble here
Scorpion (from headset): Good, then it's time
The line was then closed as Beetle then wonders
Beetle: This will be an interesting day. Wonder who else will die today
Arriving at the scene is the red SUV as Ronin is seen about to get out
Whitney Chang: You know what to do, find a way inside and get them out fast! I'll see if I can call the cops just incase
Ronin: You got it
Ronin heads to the alleyway and climbs up to the roof, while Whitney picks up her phone and calls 911
911 Operator (on phone): 911, how may I take your call?
Whitney Chang: Listen there's something going on in the Vandemere Hotel, and I think it might be an attack or something
911 Operator (on phone): State your name please
Whitney Chang: My name is-
( BOOOOM! )
Whitney Chang: WHAT THE!?
Venom: Sorry, but I think I might have to borrow you
Whitney Chang: ( GRAB ) WHAAA!
Venom suddenly crash landed near Whitney's SUV and grabbed her out, while she drops her phone. Felicia then appeared and saw Venom taking Whitney and jumping on the building
Felicia Hardy: Well that I was not expecting, but I don't want to loose Parker for that matter
Felicia takes off her helmet and head to the alleyway. Now putting on her Black Cat guise, she takes out her grappling hook and follows Venom. Up to the roof, Ronin is seen running towards the Hotel to try and prevent whatever is going on
Ronin: (Better make this fast, because whatever that got Whitney worried might happen, even though I don't know what it is. Can't believe I'm actually saving a bunch of crime families. Better hope for the best nothing happens)
Whitney Chang: RONIN!
Ronin: Huh!?
Venom: Surprise!
Ronin narrowly avoided a blow from Venom, as he fires his black bullets at him until Ronin took out his sword and stood battle ready. Black Cat is then seen hiding around the corner and watched what happened
Black Cat: Well that is interesting
Ronin: What the?
Venom: We figured it would be you in that new costume of yours
Ronin: Eddie?
Venom: What say you bro, you miss us!?
Whitney Chang: Ronin!
Ronin: Whitney! Let her go Eddie!
Venom: So it's Ronin you're now called, well I gotta say I'm liking that whole ninja vibe you got going on. And seriously, who is this friend of yours. Isn't she kind of old for you?
Whitney Chang: Old. Did you just call me old?
Ronin: Eddie, this is not the best time right now! So let her go!
Venom: Oh it is bro. This is the perfect time to start making you suffer, and I'll be starting with this new friend of yours
Whitney Chang: Well I got newsflash for you ugly!
Venom: What's that?
Whitney Chang: Never call a woman old you ugly prick!
( ZZZAAAAPPP )
Venom: AAAAAAAAGGGH!
Suddenly, Whitney took out her taser gun and shocked Venom. Inflicting a strong amount of pain, which caused Venom to loosen his grip on Whitney, as she is freed and ran to Ronin
Ronin: You okay?
Whitney Chang: Been prepared, but not like this
Venom: Lady, that… really hurts
Whitney Chang: Well you put a scratch on my Lamborghini Urus-SUV you ass! And seriously Ronin, you know this guy!?
Ronin: An old friend of mine!
Venom: One that I intend to MAKE YOU SQUIRM!
Hawthorne Academy : Girl's Bathroom
Missy is seen cleaning herself up, while trying to hold back her tears after feeling embarrassed by what happened in the cafeteria, until Kate appeared and entered to see a saddened Missy cleaning of the food from her uniform
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: … Hey there…
Missy Kallenback: Oh, um… Yes, I-I uh… I guess I should leave if you are
Kate Bishop: I was hoping you see you
Missy Kallenback: Y-You… wanted to see me?
Kate Bishop: … I saw what happened… and I wanted to check up on you
Missy Kallenback:…
Kate Bishop: You missed a spot
Kate approached and took out her napkin. Cleaning some stain that was left on her
Kate Bishop: There. All better, but you might need some laundry to clean off some stain
Missy Kallenback:… Thank you…
Kate Bishop: Don't worry about it. I used to get involved in something troubling with a certain young sister of mine
Missy Kallenback:… Why be nice to me?
Kate Bishop: What?
Missy Kallenback: I-I mean you're Katherine Bishop. You're like the most popular girl in the Academy, so why you wanted to see me?

Kate Bishop: Janice is many things, but she can come as someone who's full of ego, and can sometimes come off as a nasty bitch when you mess her up good. Believe me I know from first experience

Kate Bishop: I know you don't want any trouble, but you just can't keep quiet. You really need to tell someone about it
Missy Kallenback: I-I don't know how
Kate Bishop: Of course you do, but you just can be afraid like that. You need to make a stand, because I can guarantee you Janice won't be the first to get on your skin

Kate Bishop: Missy. Alright then, well I guess I'll see you later Missy
Missy Kallenback: O-Okay… and Katherine
Kate Bishop: Yeah?
Missy Kallenback:… Again… Thank you… N-No one has been that nice to me before
Kate Bishop: Don't worry about it, and you can call me Katie, or Kate if you would prefer

Kate Bishop: I'll see you around
Kate left the girls bathroom, leaving Missy feeling slightly better as she shed a small hint of a smile
Hawthorne Academy : Hallway
After leaving the girls bathroom Kate walks down the hall, until she bumped into a familiar face. Brigham Fontaine
Brigham Fontaine: Kate
Kate Bishop: Brigham, hey
Brigham Fontaine: Kate. You look even more beautiful the first time I laid my eyes on you
Kate Bishop: Always a sweet talker aren't you Brigham, and I wonder how many girls have heard that from you
Brigham Fontaine: And always the strong willed as ever Kate. That's perhaps one of the things is why I've fallen for you
Kate Bishop: … I should go
Brigham Fontaine: Kate
Kate Bishop: Nice talking to you Brig
Brigham Fontaine: Kate
Just then, Brigham grabbed Kate's hand, causing her to feel annoyed by him
Brigham Fontaine: Kate… just wait.
Kate Bishop: Let go of my hand Brigham
Brigham Fontaine: Please Kate, just let me just explain
Kate Bishop: Oh I think you've done enough explaining Brigham. Especially after what happened the last time
Brigham Fontaine: Look I admit I made a mistake
Kate Bishop: I would call that more then just a mistake. Did you even think that I wouldn't know there was another girl you've been seeing behind my back?
Brigham Fontaine: It was a mistake. It meant nothing
Kate Bishop: I find that hard to believe that. You're just lucky I didn't tell anybody about it
Brigham Fontaine: You can't ignore what was one of the most greatest experience we ever had, Kate. We had something special together, and you were truly the one I wanted to be with
Kate Bishop: Are you seriously trying to sweet talk your way on to me!?
Brigham Fontaine: You cannot just walk away like this. We were perfect for each other
Kate Bishop: That was until your ego kicked in, and there was the real Brigham you so perfectly kept hidden all this time
Brigham Fontaine: We had a reputation to uphold
Kate Bishop: A reputation you would rather put first and everything else last
Brigham Fontaine: Kate, please. You have to understand
Kate Bishop: Enough Brigham now let me go
Brigham Fontaine: I never meant for it Kate!

Kate pull her had off his and walks off, as Brigham was left annoyed

Outside Vandemere Hotel
Overlooking the fight between Ronin and Venom, Beetle saw what happened and appeared amused
Beetle: Well look at that. This could work to my favor
Beetle then contacts Scorpion about it
Beetle: Oy poison lass, we got company
Scorpion (com-link): What is it Beetle?
Beetle: Appears the ninja is here
Vandemere Hotel: Basement Floor
Scorpion: The Ronin. Is everything done here?
Inner Demon: Everything is nearly ready
Scorpion: Once it's done then we begin. Beetle, ensure that you dealt with the Ronin
Outside Vandemere Hotel
Beetle: On it lass
Beetle hangs up his com-link and sees the fight between Ronin and Venom
Beetle: Not like I'm in a hurry. Let's just see how this goes
Ronin is seen evading all attacks as Venom tries to land a blow to no success
Venom: I see you got some new moves bro
Ronin: I had training!
Venom: Let's see if that pays off!
Whitney Chang: Leave the ninja alone fake overweight black spidey guy!
Venom: Don't think so!
( TWIP ) ( TWIP )
Whitney Chang: Agh!
Venom fired off Whitney's taser gun and webbed her to the pillar
Ronin: Whitney!
Whitney Chang: I'm fine!
Venom: But not for long!
Black Cat: For you!
( BAM )
Black Cat jumped in and kicked Venom off balance and stood battle ready. Leaving Ronin surprised by her sudden appearance
Venom: Ah!
Ronin: Huh!?
Black Cat: Hey there handsome stranger. Nice uniform
Ronin: (F-Felicia?)
Venom: Who the hell are you!?
Black Cat: The names Black Cat and it's not nice to pretend to be somebody that you're not. Especially a well known spider I had a history with
Venom: Well you've just made the wrong move because I will skin you alive
Black Cat: I wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty
Whitney Chang: Ronin!
Ronin: Whitney!
Whitney Chang: Just forget about the fight, you have to get in there now! Go!
Black Cat: Look I don't know what's going on, but if someone's in trouble you better go!
Ronin: Okay!
Venom: I don't think so!
Black Cat: Wanna bet!?
Ronin heads off to the Vandemere Hotel as Venom tries to get to him until Black Cat brought out her new weapon and scratched him
( SCRATCH )
Venom: OOOOOWWWWW!
Black Cat: You like my Electric Claws ugly!? They're new and on the market!
Venom: That was unpleasant!
Black Cat: Just the way I like it!
Vandemere Hotel: Basement Floor
With the device now connected, the members of the Syndicate are ready to begin
Inner Demon: It's done
Boomerang: Finally
Wizard: Then it's time
Scorpion: Start the device and prepare for our getaway
Inner Demon: Understood
The Inner Demon then start the device up, as the Devil's Breath gets sucked into the main air vent
Vandemere Hotel: Reception Hall
( TSSSS )
As the wedding party still continues with the two families, the air vent then started to disperse red gas from it
Katie Karnelli: Mamma
Susan Karnelli: What is it sweetie?
Tommy Maggia: Is that gas?
Ian Karnelli: I-I don't feel so good
Don Maggia: What * koff * what's going on
Ray Maggia: * koff * * koff * Oh god * kaff * It burns!

Just then Ronin jumped through the hotel window and into the Reception Hall, only to see the entire room filled with red gas. Realizing he was too late as the two crime families, including women, young children, and infants being suffocated and started to decay
Ronin: Oh my god!
* kaff * * kaff * * ahkk *
Ronin: Huh?
Just then Ronin sees a 3 year old girl in a pink dress starting to decay as he runs and grabs her. Watching her skin drying as she starts to cry in pain
Katie Karnelli: * ahkk * ACK! AGKK! MAMMA! M-MA-MMA!
Ronin: Hey! HEY!
Katie Karnelli: * cough * KEH-HKK! HKKKK!
Ronin: No! NONONONONO!
Katie Karnelli: EKKK! HHKKKKKKkkkkkkkkkkk…..
Ronin:…
With her last breath the little girl dies in Ronin's arms as her body decade and appears mummy-like. Watching in horror as he also sees a young woman and her husband with their baby on the floor decaying and hears the loud cry of the young infant in extreme pain until it slowly fades, as the baby and the parent's body become fully decayed and died a slow and painful death in front of him. Seeing every family member in the hall dead Ronin once again remembers his time as Spider-Man and the failure that led to the death of his Uncle Ben, and sees this as another of his failures while holding the deceased little girl in his arms
Ronin:… No… No… Oh god no!
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Youngest death ever. That would so haunt Peter after holding that dying little girl in his arm. Wait and see how that would play out in the next chapter. New characters joining in here, and I have to rewite a couple of things here
Janice Foswell. Mentioned in "chapter 17" by Frederick Foswell for having a daughter the same age as Peter. Fist appeared in " Marvel Team-Up issue 39", Janice Foswell in this story is another student at Hawthorne Academy and a former BFF of Kate Bishop, who was once part of her crowed, and the relationship between those two are quite complicated. Janice is often jealous of Kate for having to what she believes to be a perfect and successful life, while she have become less then what she was before
Amy Powell. First appeared in "Amazing Spider-Man issue 230", and was another girl Peter kissed after she tried to make he boyfriend jealous. In this story she's part of Janice's crowd
Edna Blackquill. First appeared in "Amazing Spider-Man Family issue 6", she's often a rival of Peter's Aunt May. At that time his Aunt May knew Peter was Spider-Man and kept his identity a secret. She often wears his costume without her nephew knowing about it just so she can piss Edna off for being a complete bitch and for being mean to her dog. Like Amy in this story, Edna is pat of Janice's crowed
Since I'm getting to this point, both Kate and Missy liked Peter Parker, but only one would be with him while the other will have a different role. Although Kate did try to help Missy out. Another is Kate's talk with Brigham, which is in fact one part of the reason why she broke up with him. That's a story to be told another time
Anyway, Ronin, Black Cat, and Venom will be expected to fight the Sinister Syndicate next chapter. So enjoy
