Dizzy: Kate will be later on, and his time with Sable will be for a while
latinoheat151: I'm trying to limit the number of characters and see if they can work for the story, and I don't see how I can make it work with Heroes for Hire and Silver Samurai. Although I was thinking something similar which I might add if I can make it work
Joe: Black Cat will appear a couple of chapters later, and even though a part of me wish so I don't think I can make the Peter and Sable pairing work. The reason for that is I'm making it a Peter and Kate pairing, and Sable is much older then him and is her boss. The relationship between the two would be like a little brother and older sister pairing. I might do a one-shot, but I don't know. I'll just see how this goes
Silver Spoon Coffee House: Inside
Inside a local coffee house are two officers, Stan Carter and Jean DeWolff, as they are in civilian clothes and seen having coffee together
Stan Carter: Got to admit DeWolff you look pretty good
Jean DeWolff: Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself
Stan Carter: Well I did came prepared
Jean DeWolff: You wish
Stan Carter: Heh

Jean looked at Stan with surprise as she has been his partner for a long time, but never thought he would show interest in her. However she started to smile as she feels okay with the idea of going out with him. On the opposite side of where the two are, Ned Lee and Frederick Foswell are seen holding a cup of coffee as they wait for Peter
Ned Lee: You think he'll come?
Frederick Foswell: Parker said to meet us here, but he'll be little bit late. Trying to avoid suspicion and not get caught
Ned Lee: My god. What are we even thinking letting Peter go through with this?
Frederick Foswell: Parker said there is no one else who can do this then him, and I actually agree with him on this. Kid's no rookie and he seems to know what he's doing
Ned Lee: But this is not like any other assignment he's been in Foswell. We're talking about sending that kid in an environment that could potentially get him killed
Frederick Foswell: You don't think I know that? I have a daughter who is exactly his age too you know, and I wouldn't dream of sending her in that kind of environment. But what can we do now. We know the info says it all, so what choice do we have?
Ned Lee: And if Jameson finds out about this?

Frederick handed Peter a folder containing information involving the Jīn xiānfēng and Sun Wukong
Frederick Foswell: According to the info we got from the Chinese media the Jīn xiānfēng triad was known to be the toughest criminal organizations in all of Hong Kong. They've been in conflict with other organization, but this group has built themselves a steady amount of influence and money in the lower parts of the city. Some businesses was even made through illegal means and corruption, but that's were they became trouble
Ned Lee: There's been some conflict from within the triad involving other gangs fighting for territory, and that often get people killed. The cops there had a hard time dealing with them
Peter Parker: What about this Sun Wukong guy? You got anything on him?
Ned Lee: Nothing. According to the info this Wukong guy you mentioned was from the lower parts of the city and had a small business, although it didn't say what it is, but he was missing for the past 7 years until he made his come back. Apparently this guy owns casinos, banks and real estate property. Now he has contributed more to helping poorer families, opened up a children's hospital there, and even gave free education. A well known and respected philanthropist there. Although it wouldn't surprise me given example to the Lincoln case
Peter Parker: Meaning no evidence, but this is a start. Thanks you guys
Ned Lee: I still say its suicide what you're doing

Brooker Hill Apartment
In a small and cheap looking apartment, Frank Castle is seen carrying his large bag as he has been brought in by his new landlord as he enters the room that has for now become his new home
Brooker Hill Landlord: Okay then. Anyway this is the main hall, that's the living room, over there is the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom with its own bed. This place maybe small and it can get cold here if the weather gets damped, but it has an air-conditioner and the only thing you need now is a heated to warm you up. And if you want a good view of the city then you can go on to the roof. The weekly payment is $24.
Frank Castle: Alright, this will do
Brooker Hill Landlord: Great. I'll get the paper and I'll see to it that you're settled in

Brooker Hill Landlord: So it's your first time in the city?
Frank Castle: No, I use to live here. But I decided to move back

As the landlord left, Frank unpacks his things as he sets up his workspace. Unpacking from his bags are cases of guns and ammunition as well as a suitcase of money and a smart-pad, including his notes and papers involving the situation in New York and the information he has obtain
Frank Castle: (Punisher's New Log, 002: I've recently acquired myself a place to stay for a while and I'm looking over the detail from the information I've received. A year ago one company had ties to an unknown client who approached them. This client seems to know his stuff, but what he has is something that caught my interest. Better start getting myself some hardware, because this is going to be a lot of work)
Somewhere in Manhattan
In downtown Manhattan, Nico is seen walking down the streets until the weather started to rain
Nico Minoru: Oh great. Just what I need right now, and me without my umbrella
Nico then starts running to the alleyway to find a place were she can spend the night and found an old building nearby. Nico then went towards it as the rain keeps pouring and went inside. She looked around to see the building completely abandoned, which made it the perfect place to sleep at night. She took out one Japanese talisman paper and placed it on the floor as she performed an incantation as fire came out
Nico Minoru: Nice. The fire is up to keeps me warm for the night, and at least I get a roof over my head and not in the street. Better make myself comfortable
Nico took out her sleeping bag and set it up, but as she prepares to sleep Nico accidentally dropped a photo on the ground as she picks it up. Showing herself with Karolina Dean, Chase Stein, Molly Hayes, Alex Wilder, Victor Mancha, Gertrude Yorkes, Klara Prast and Old Lace. Nico look at the photo with sadness as she could not believe it has been few months since she last saw them as she felt crying
Nico Minoru:… I missed you guys… I missed you so much and I'm so sorry… I'm so sorry I left you guys… I'm sorry…
Nico put away the photo and rest in her sleeping bag. Wiping away a shed of her tears as she goes to sleep

Somewhere in Manhattan
During a busy area of the streets a police car is seen chasing a car with two robbers as they fired back at them
Robber 1: Can't you just hurry up!? The cops are gaining on us!
Robber 2: I'm driving as fast as I can alright! What's the big deal anyway!? We're getting away with this!?
Robber 1: Not unless you wanna deal with that… Oh hell
Robber 2: What!? What is… Oh shit!
On front of them is Ronin standing on the road as he confronts the car heading towards them
Robber 2: Holy crap it's that Ninja!
Robber 1: Hell with it! Just ram the prick!
Ronin: (Okay. I've already tested what my sword can do on cans, bottles, a cheap DVD player and a used up bike. Now let's see if it can cut cars to)
Ronin unsheathe his sword and prepares for the moment as the car nears dodging while using his spider-strength as he used his sword and cut off the tires, causing the car to go off balance and flipped on the road and stop as the two robbers were left barely injured. Ronin put his sword away and jumps on top of a building and ran off before the police car arrives
Ronin: (Oh man I actually did it! Knew I had this kind of strength before but never used it fully. Well at least I got training with Meiko today, and I better not be late)
Austin Duncan Studio
Somewhere in New York is an exclusive studio owned by famous photographer Austin Duncan who is seen taking photos of Kate Bishop, wearing stylish clothes and smiling for the camera, who is modeling for a teen magazine at the request of Britney Amber Fox, much to her annoyance as she brought her friends Priscilla Ironwood and Josephine Bricklemoore along as they sit back and watch
Kate Bishop: I so cannot believe I'm really doing this
Austin Duncan: Come Katie darling! Show me that gorgeous looking face of yours. Swing that beautiful black hair of yours. Show me that figure for the camera darling
Kate Bishop: Um, okay
Priscilla Ironwood: Wow. She looks really good out there

Kate relaxed as her photo-shoot finally ended as she dresses up in her normal clothes

Peter is seen on the roof of a building as he puts away him Ronin costume in his bag and packs away his sword
Peter Parker: Man I need a bigger bag because this sword is not going in. Better hurry up
Heading his way is Kate as she is seen in her regular clothes walking down the street near to the building he's on while she's looking at her watch
Kate Bishop: Oh man I so am not gonna make it. No choice, better take a shortcut
As she went through an alleyway with no one in sight, as stranger is seen standing there and took notice of Kate as she tries to walk past him
Stranger: Hey there pretty girl, you lost?
Kate Bishop:…
Stranger: Oh come on. Don't be like that
Kate Bishop: Go away
The stranger then blocks her way as Kate tries to go around him until he grabbed her arm
Kate Bishop: Huh?
Stranger: Let's have some fun pretty girl
Kate Bishop: Let go of me!
Stranger: Come on, give me some
Kate Bishop: No!
On top of the building Peter carries his bag and was about to head off until he hears a scream from the alleyway and checks it out to see a girl being assaulted by the stranger as he pinned her on the wall
Peter Parker: What the!?
Kate Bishop: No! Let me go!
Stranger: Scream all you want cause nobody's coming to save you
Kate Bishop: Help!
Seeing she's in trouble, Peter jumps from the building and on to the alleyway as he sees an empty bottle and picks it up
Peter Parker: HEY!
Kate Bishop: Huh?
Stranger: The hell!?
Peter runs to the stranger as he threw the bottle on his face as it shatters, with Kate covering her face, as Peter kicks him away. Peter then dropped his bag and moves forward to protect her as the stranger gets up
Kate Bishop: Wow
Stranger: What the fuck!?
Peter Parker: Think its okay for you to assault a girl like that!?
Stranger: Fuck you prick!
Kate Bishop: Look out!
The stranger then takes out a knife and attacks, but using his speed and strength Peter broke his arm and leg and without holding back punched him in the face as the impact broke his jaws. The stranger lies on the ground with Peter watching him as he realized he broke the man's jaws, arm and legs. The stranger then barely speaks from his broken jaw
Stranger: Ey aw, ey rm, ey eg. U ok ey ones
Peter Parker: (Oh hell what did I do?)
Kate watched in amazement, but then move to approach the stranger in anger
Peter Parker: Huh?
Kate Bishop: That's for assaulting me to bastard!
Kate then step on his crotch as hard as she can
Stranger: ( WHAM ) Aaaaaa!
Peter Parker: Whoa
Stranger: Ey als
Kate looked at him and appeared upset knowing she was that close from being assaulted by him or worse. Peter stood behind as he approached her and placed his hand on her shoulder

Peter Parker: Hey you okay?
Suddenly Kate quickly turned and hugged him out of gratitude without seeing his face, which got Peter off guard
Peter Parker: Wha?
Kate Bishop: Oh my god! Oh my god you saved me! I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there! Thank you!
Peter Parker: Hey it's okay
Kate Bishop: Okay!? Dude that was… Peter!?
Peter Parker:… Kate!?
Peter and Kate appeared shocked to see each other again face-to-face since their last meeting. Peter was surprised to see her again, including Kate who not only was happy to see him but was surprised to see how his appearance have changed since the last time she'd seen him up close
Peter Parker: Kate Bishop!
Kate Bishop: Oh my god, Peter Parker… You look… wow…
Peter Parker:… Come on. Let's get out of here
Peter picks up his bag and takes her out of the alleyway and went to a populated area, while Kate thinks about what she saw during the nightclub incident and how she first met him. Developing an interest in him
Peter Parker: You okay? You hurt or something?
Kate Bishop: I'm fine… and thank you.
Peter Parker: Don't worry about it
Kate Bishop: No really I would not imagine what would happen to me if you weren't there. Thank you Peter

Peter Parker: Oh this? Well it's my training bag, I kinda work out

Just as he was about to head off Kate stopped Peter as she grabbed his arm

Looking at Kate's eyes and sees a slight sense of fear in her Peter was left with no choice

Peter walked with Kate and head inside the Subway Station. While they wait for the train to arrive, the two are seen sitting on a bench

Peter Parker:… My parents both died in a plane crash, and I've been living with my Uncle and Aunt. My Uncle died last year so I'm left with my Aunt
Kate became surprised to hear to find that Peter is an orphan

Kate Bishop: Oh… Oh Peter I didn't know. I'm so sorry

Kate Bishop: But this… and your Aunt is the only relative you have?If she is then wouldn't that worry her more if you do this? I mean what if something bad happens to you?

Peter Parker:… In the beginning it was about the money… but then it became something a part of me really wanted to do… I wanted to do something about my life were my folk can be proud of me… I wanted to make a difference were I can actually help people… That was precisely

Peter Parker:… My parents were both scientists. That's how they met, and what they have in common is that they wanted to use their knowledge to help people. They wanted to do something that they feel they can make the world a better place. Make a difference, help people, save lives, a place were no one would have to suffer anymore, and perhaps there wouldn't need to be anymore pain… My Uncle told me my parents and their friends went to help some people in some far away country, it was also the moment my parents died from that plane crash… and the last time I saw them was when I was 5 years old. As I grew older it was were I felt a part of me wanted to continue what they've started… It was that I wanted to be a scientist… I know this isn't the kind of career I was expecting, but it made me some money I can save for college. I wanted to make a difference… I wanted to do something about my life were my folk can be proud of me… I wanted to be someone my folks can be proud of… of what my Uncle would be proud off… Because with great power must come great responsibility… I have the power… now I must have the responsibility
Kate looked at Peter really impressed of what he wants to do and remembers something similar with her Mom and her grandparents

Kate Bishop:… My Mom… wanted to help people… because of her parents too. They always teach that if you are a good person then good things would happen. It was the same thing they did with me after they died a couple of years back. As they continue to look at each other Peter and Kate hear the train coming, as they turn back and wonder if they'll ever see each other again

Kate Bishop: Do you have a pen and paper I can use?
Peter Parker: What? Um, yeah hang on
While keeping his Ronin costume out of site Peter took out a piece of paper from his bag and took out a pen from his pocket as he handed it to Kate. She then starts writing numbers on it and handed it to Peter
Kate Bishop: Here
Peter Parker: What's this?
Kate Bishop: My phone number
Peter Parker: What?
Kate Bishop: If you like… you can like… you know… call me
Peter Parker: Really?
Kate Bishop: Yeah… Because… I really enjoyed talking with you… So if it's okay with you… I wouldn't mind getting a call with you… If you want to hangout sometimes

Kate Bishop: If… you're up for it?
Peter Parker:… Yeah… Yeah sure
The train arrives as the doors open, as Kate prepares to board
Peter Parker:… Train's here
Kate Bishop: Yeah…
Peter Parker:…
Kate Bishop:… Ah hell with it
In an unexpected move Peter was caught by surprised as Kate kissed him on the cheek. Feeling a sense of gratitude
Kate Bishop:… That was for saving me back there Peter… Thanks
Peter Parker:… Kate…
Kate Bishop:… I hope to hear from you again… if you have time. So until then… nice to see you again superstar
As she enters the train, the door closed behind her as Kate and Peter looked past the door at each other while the train moves. Kate held onto a pole tight and started to smiles as her interest in Peter started to develop further after seeing another side of him she likes. While still standing on the train station, Peter looked at the piece of paper with Kate's number on it, while he was still surprised but also started to smile and begins to develop an interest in Kate as well
Peter Parker:… Kate Bishop… I might actually will…
AUTHOR'S NOTE: The beginning of something special between the two characters, as Kate Bishop will slowly get herself involved in the life of Peter Parker
Another note is the mentioning of Janice Foswell, the daughter of Frederick Foswell and will appear later on in the story
Now for this part makes up the origin of Kate Bishop's story, as seen involving the alleyway. If anybody read the "Young Avengers Special" from 2006 should know her story. In her origin Kate is from a very wealthy family, but was not completely comfortable with wealth. But while walking through Central Park, Kate was sexually assaulted (raped) by some man and was left traumatized and isolated that her father spends his money to give her the best treatment he can afford. Determined to never relive that experience Kate studies all kinds of martial arts, fencing, and archery, which later she met the Young Avengers at her sister's wedding. As a result she became what we now know her as Hawkeye
Had Peter never been on that area then Kate would have lived that experience and it would have left her either turning vengeful or ensure she never went though with it again, and since Peter prevented her from being assaulted by the stranger Kate is spared from living the experience she would have gotten from him. Meaning we will not be seeing Kate Bishop as Hawkeye in this story, but she will have a different role to play in this
Anyway, another further delay in the story and Peter will soon meet with both Frank Castle and Nico Minoru in a later chapter. So enjoy waiting long for the next release
