Summary

Wilson Fisk who is the gangster known as The Kingpin is back in New York City with a mission of polluting the drinking water as a way to force the citizens of the city to buy drinking water from a company that he finances.Can Spider-Man with the help of his student Gill Gal team up to stop the gangster to bring New York City to her knees?

Note

The story is loosely based on the Spider-Man cartoon called "The Wrath Of The Sub Mariner" from the 1980s. In this case instead of the Sub Mariner teaming up with Spider-Man, it will be his student Elizabeth "Erika" Parker who besides being a champion swimmer in the breast stoke area of the sport, she is also secretly Gill Gal who gained her power as the female answer to The Creature Of The Dark Lagoon.

Spider-Man will face his toughest challenge yet.

As soon as Erika leaves the home where Peter Parker lives in New York City, Peter says goodbye to his new friendly enemy since they both attend college in different cities as Peter says to himself "It is time for Spider-Man to pay the Kingpin a visit since Erik0a has given me enough ammunition to take him down for trying to poison the water that made her sick after she spent time in the swimming pool. Here goes everything since trying to take down the Kingpin is like an average person using their bare fists to strike Iron Man's armor. It will mean lots of pain for them."

Spider-Man puts on his costume as he leaves his home using his web powers to travel from building to building when he finally arrives at the headquarters of the Kingpin when he sees one of the Kingpin's henchman Joe Otoque standing outside of Kingpin's office when Joe asks Spider-Man "Friend or foe?"

Spider-Man tells Joe "It depends which version of my character you believe. I am your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Or you can buy into the lies of the Daily Bugle which I am a public menace. Now if you do not mind, I would like to visit The Kingpin on a business deal."

Kingpin who can hear the talk from both Joe and Spider-Man tells Joe "Let the Spider-Man in my office since I always want to meet with a friend that almost gave me the chance of being Mayor of New York if it not been for the help of a female kid hero and her monkey. Come in Spider-Man."

Spider-Man then enters the office of The Kingpin's office as Spider-Man asks Kingpin 'I understand that you are being accused of having one of your henchmen poisoning the swimming pool water which made Erika Parker felt ill."

Kingpin tells his enemy 'Unless you have proof beyond reasonable doubt, pardon my words you are blowing hot air in my presence which requires me to deal with your insults."

Spider-Man tells Kingpin "What are you planning to do? Use your cane blaster on me? That won't work since I have the speed of a lightweight boxer."

Kingpin replies to Spider-Man "No I have my backup plan which is the way that Gill Gal got her powers. I understand that she was shocked by an eel. History will repeat itself." Then Kingpin presses a button on his desk that drops a net that shocks Spider-Man into falling down to the floor nearly out cold.

Spider-Man then presses a button on his waist that summons the assistance of his partner Gill Gal who then says to herself "As my boss Detective Squirrel would say 'Okay chief. I will get on it right away.' Don't panic Spider-Man. Your salvation is on its way."
