Gill Gal has an interview on a sports talk show
Elizabeth Parker is talking to reporters from a television sports program that is based in Bristol Connecticut where she is being interviewed by sports reporter Stephen A Smith on the set of the talk show "First Take" via satellite from her home in Fair City to promote a swim meet between Empire State University which is her alma mater which is Fair City College in a swimming meet for charity.
Stephen asks the heroine who gained her powers when she was in a swim meet in Panama City Panama when a crazed fan hurled an electric eel into the swimming pool because Elizabeth refused to grant a fan his request before she was going to swim in the breaststroke part of the swim meet against swimmers from other provinces in the nation which nearly ended her life when the eel shocked her when she accidently touched the eel and she passed out from the shock.
Elizabeth spent time at a local hospital to be treated for her injuries where she claims that she discovered her ability to swim underwater for a long period of time without having to get to the surface to breathe air. She has kept her powers of being able to swim underwater from the fan base since if Elizabeth tells anybody that she is an alien from another planet. they would think that she is crazy so she keeps her alter ego a secret.
Stephen asks her "I know that you are one of the upcoming stars of the swimming world as an African-American which is a minority in the sports world. How are you received by your mates in the swim world? I would like to know."
Elizabeth answers to the host "Stephen my mates respect me since they know that if they need someone to bail them out, I will save them. The reason I am here is to promote a swim meet against Empire State University since media pundits including this network think that my alma mater has a snowball's chance in a furnace to beat ESU in a swim meet. Never count your chickens before they hatch. By the way I am known for the catch phrase "I will shock you' due to how I became Gill Gal. What say you?"
Stephen then tells Elizabeth 'Based on your body of work in swimming, I will respect you and not laugh at your swimming abilities since you are very popular with guys in New York City. Good luck in your swim meet."
In the meantime Wilson Fisk who is The Kingpin is plotting his next evil by having his chemist have a plan to poison the drinking water since my earlier plan to poison the legal medicines in New York City take a severe fail no thanks to that Spider-Man and his new friends. This time as much as I am The Kingpin, New York City will be on her knees begging me to save them."
