Charles 📚: what!?
Erik 🧲: I'm not going away
Charles 📚: you said you had to? How come you can stay
Erik 🧲: I forced the government official to not make me go. I told him that if he wanted me to do more he should have told me when he said that I had done everything they needed me to do. He tried to argue that it was my duty to my country so I reminded him that I'm German and since I have a German passport America is not my country, I am a citizen, yes, but it has never been my country. I also told him that I was going through several family matters. I did everything to make sure I could stay.
Charles 📚: *crying* really!?
Erik 🧲: yes Schatz
Charles 📚: was it because of Peter?
Erik 🧲: it was because of you Charles
Charles 📚: me???
Erik 🧲: *Gets off Charles and starts pacing around the office* yes Charles, you. The reason why I fought so hard to stay was so I could be with the love of my life.

Erik 🧲: He told me things that changed my life.

Erik 🧲: I almost did it again and it's killing me
Charles 📚: Erik it's alright, I forgive you.
Erik 🧲: and today of all days, why did I have to make you sad today
Charles 📚: ?
Erik 🧲: On this day, 10 years ago, I met the man of my dreams for the first time in England. It was an experience that changed my life in so many ways for the better.
Charles 📚: oh my goodness *walks over to Erik and kisses him gently*
Erik 🧲: Charles, leaving you that day it was the hardest thing for me to do in my life. It was hard for me to leave Peter however I knew he would have his friends and you but you...I didn't know how you would take it. Not a day goes past and I don't regret leaving you. I missed everything about you - your voice, your brain, your telepathy, your body and how much of an amazing person you are. On this day a decade ago, we met and it was the best moment of my life you saved me from myself Charles. Before you I was broken - I had just lost both of my parents and I didn't know what to do with my life. I remember everything about that day - your smile, your jokes, your kind words that reassured me that I would never be alone again. Ever since that day you have made sure that I wasn't alone and I am ever grateful for it. The fact that I almost left you feeling alone pains me so goddamn much but I promise you that I will never leave you alone, I swear that I will always be by your side no matter what happens. I love you Charles Francis Xavier. I love you so much. I refuse to leave you again no matter what which is why I want to ask you this. If I stay by your side, will you stay by mine? Will you stay with me till the end. As that's what I'll do. I'm not leaving you, not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
Charles 📚: *crying*
Erik 🧲: *gets down on one knee* be my husband Charles, you light up my life and I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me? You're the most important person to me in the world, I love you so much. We've been together for 6 months, I know it may not be long but to me it's long enough to know that I don't want to be with anyone else. Ever since I met you, I knew you were different and I now know that you're different because you're the one who is destined to be with me forever. It may sound childish in a way but it's true. I want to be with you and you alone. I love you so unbelievably much. The 10 years I've known you have allowed me to understand a lot of things about you and to me, all of it has shown just how much of an amazing person you see. I can't wait to learn more about you as we spend longer together. No matter what happens I want to be by your side Charles so please, do me the highest honour by becoming my husband. Charles 📚: *sobbing* yes, I'll marry you Erik
Erik 🧲: *slips the silver band onto Charles' finger before standing up*
Charles 📚: I love you Erik, I love you so much. I'm glad you aren't leaving, I came quite describe all the emotions that are going through my head.

Charles 📚: *places his fingers to his temple and projects his feelings to Erik*

Charles 📚:*pulls Erik into a passionate kiss, one hand resting in his tousled hair*
Erik 🧲: *kisses Charles back and wraps his arms around him tightly*
