Y/N Pov
The first time Y/N saw Bucky she didn't know what to think, he was dark and broody, so different from her own bright and bubbly personality. But then the more she interacted with him the more she noticed all his cute little quirks, and all his quiet and sweet moments, that she hadn’t caught before. She also saw that beneath the happy face he put on for everyone, he was hurting.
She wanted to help, and she did, they grew close over the next month, they began spending most of their days in each other's company, and Y/N started to spend nights in Bucky’s room to help comfort him after nightmares. They didn’t bother to put a label on their relationship but Y/N knew that she loved Bucky, and she knew that Bucky would do anything for her. The others had noticed the change in both of them, they saw that Y/N was calmer and always smiling when she was with Bucky, and they also noticed that Bucky looked genuinely happy for the first time in over a year.
