Chapter 5

Logan woke up with a heavy heart instead of a woozy head. He'd almost prefer if he did. He sighed, still laying in the same position as he woke up in. He almost didn't want to get up, comfortable yet embarrassingly uncomfortable in his position. He would stay in bed if he was at home, bearing Charles' berating the next day. The morning felt like a mocking to him, meaning he'd have to get up and face the others any minute now.

He groaned, pushing himself up lazily, stopping to sit on the bed. Unfortunately, he does remember everything from yesterday. He does remember his little trip, which lasted through the whole day. He does remember the nervous chick who flirted with him unknown to Logan, which was weird because he always sensed when a person held interest to him. What bugged him the most was his, hopefully kind enough, rejection. The girl was a piece, for sure, but he just hadn't felt like it.

Which was weird. Very weird. Everyone who knew Logan well enough knew he did not have a problem walking into a bar and picking a desperate enough chick up. He blamed ot on current stress, both from the job itself and the annoying residents that came along with the house they currently stayed in. Especially the annoying, silver-haired ones.

He sighed, the last thing he needs on his mind right now is Peter. A familiar frown appeared on his face as the name appeared in his head. The kid was persistent, he'll give him that, but so, so annoying. And so eager. Too eager. Eager for what, he didn't know. Except he did. Because Peter literally told him. And unfortunately, it hasn't exited, or had intention to, any time soon, despite his desperate tries.

He entered the bathroom, this time choosing the one downstairs, not wanting to encounter any more awkward, Peter-including situations. The house felt vacant despite the decently late morning hour, and he'd guess by this time that it always felt like this. It was too big for his taste anyway. A decently sized cabin is just enough for him. Just enough to grow a small family within. His interest in having kids any time soon felt more pressured than genuine. Sure, he wouldn't mind a couple of brats once he'd find the right woman, but just the genuine thought of having a kid wasn't particularly inviting to him.

He didn't waste any more time readying himself in the bathroom, finding the dining room soon after with everyone already sitting at the table, conversing lightly. Hank's eyes grew, inviting his friend to sit with him, which Logan did, a small smile appearing on his own face in return. Charles, always polite, greeted him with a small smile, though Logan could sense a bit of irritation on his face when his conversation with Erik was, not so rudely, interrupted.

Erik held his significant doubting smile towards Logan, despite their little conversation yesterday morning. Logan resisted rolling his eyes as he made himself comfortable st the table. Some things never change with certain people. He really didn't want to, yet he caught Peter's gaze, which luckily wasn't a teasing one, a tired expression sitting on his slimly sculptured face. He liked him the most that way, if he could call it 'like'. Quiet and minding his own business.

He averted his eyes before the younger man dared to lift his spirits, grabbing a freshly made coffee Raven poured him instead. He was mostly silent, listening in on the casual conversations between the other occupants of the table. His attention was brought back to the group by Charles, who suddenly remembered to ask about his disappearance yesterday. Logan sighed, explaining simply. "Just went 'round town, got bored." Charles nodded, most of them letting out understanding sighs once he explained there was a bar nearby.

He ignored the rest of remarks, sipping on his coffee as he let his mind travel somewhere else. He doesn't like to be zoned out much, but it kept him from thinking. He thanked Raven as she put a full plate in front of him, as well as the others. He noticed when her smaller hand grazed Hank's shoulder, which could be seen almost innocent to an amateurish eye, but he knew better. He smiled at Hank, grinned is a better description, and Hank returned it, his face being a mixture of pride and awkwardness. His eyes glanced towards the girl, busying herself cleaning, though her face looked refreshed.

He didn't ask further, already knowing the answer as a small satisfied smirk appeared on his face. He tilted his head down, digging into his own plate, ignoring the other's conversations as he let his mind wander on its own.

They soon finished the breakfast, heading along their ways to spend time today. Charles followed Erik to some convention held in the down, promising he'll try to fix him up with some of his closest clients. Logan wasn't particularly hooked on the 'try' part, but he assured him it only depended on their moods. Logan let him off with a distrustful nod after a few more confirming words, turning back to the car. He drove around town, checking the time. 10:32 AM. He had plenty of time to spend. After a quick grocery trip, which in Logan's case meant some alcohol on the cheaper side and some pricey cigars, he spent the rest of the noon in the bar he visited yesterday, the hour hitting later in the afternoon after he exited.

He drove back to the house, slightly tipsy from the one too many drinks he had. He hoped he looked sober enough as he hopped into his car, quickly arriving at the mansion. Walking past the living room, he heard a bunch of voices filled with excitement, bringing Logan's attention to it. As he opened the door, Charles practically jumped at him, a beaming smile hanging on his face. He clasped his hands together, speaking in a content tone. "Right! Now that everyone is here, we have an interesting announcement."

Logan's interest was now following Charles, catching Erik's cold gaze before he spoke. "Everyone, join us at the conference room." Logan rolled his eyes as he passed through the crowd of curious chatter, making his way inside. Could've announced it in the living room all the same but it isn't his call. He sat somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards the back of the room, watching the others set in the front seats behind the table.

Erik started speaking about a few interested clients, who were intrigued by their business, which is why Erik wanted to join businesses with them. Logan was sure he'd witness Hank's eyebrows jump up from his face, watching the surprise paint the young man's face. Charles looked nervous, quickly glancing towards Logan. After a few seconds of silence, the few of them glanced between each other. Smiles grew on their faces, bringing a smaller smirk out of Logan with it.

They started talking again, Logan's head almost banging from the voices interrupting each other. He almost didn't notice a leg grazing his upper thigh, making him almost yelp in surprise, bringing attention from the others for a split second as he hit the table with a startled jump. The others didn't waste any more seconds on him as he muttered a quick apology, exhaling nervously. He glanced behind him, seeing the familiar face glow with excitement and amusement as he watched him.

Logan's gaze fell down at his legs, his head returning back up in a intense manner, shooting him a glare. To absolutely no one's surprise, Peter wasn't fazed one bit, continuing to rub his foot against his leg, now closing to his inner thigh. Logan tried to push him away without bringing attention to them, he's sure Erik wouldn't give a second thought as he'd break the contact, possibly ruin Charles', and their reputation in this business.

His thoughts were too dramatic, he knew that. He knows he could just quickly excuse himself out, he's sure nobody would care much, but that'd just mean Peter would think he's winning this. Which he isn't. He moves the furthest he can, trying to show the man he is not interested in his little games. By Peter's unstopping motions, he'd guess he doesn't accept this as an answer.

The time seemed to slow down, torturing Logan. He tried paying attention to the group, yet his mind didn't listen to him. He couldn't concentrate even if he tried. He bit his inner cheeks, not giving into the touch. If he mouths even the smallest of sighs, he knows the kid wins. He managed to bring his focus back to the group, listening to the building plans. He's sure this wont be the last time they'll mention it, so he doesn't worry much about missing out. Even if he was, he's sure Hank wouldn't hesitate to repeat the plan a few times.

His victory was short-lived, however, when he felt the leg be replaced with a warmer palm. His breath hitched despite his opposition, throwing a failing glare at the younger man. He gripped the handles of his chair, not giving in. Peter held the same expression, though his face was now almost distracted-looking, his mouth open slightly as if he was focusing on something, his eyes pinned to some point slightly past him. His signature smile was still present, now even more evident as his hand got sturdier, more eager.

Logan hung his head low, closing his eyes for just a few seconds, the opposing now overpowered by the surge of excitement rushing into his body. His hand weakly tried pushing the other off, only to end on the other's thigh, slightly pressing on it, desperate for release. What kind of release, he wasn't sure yet. Peter leaned into him, whispering, his voice soft. "I know what you did." Logan's heart sped up, his head still as he asked. "What?" His genuine confusion disappeared at the following words. "I know you can see me. I like it." It was wrong. He should get up this moment, despite his now rock hard dick straining his jeans. He's sure if he just took the opportunity to rail the girl in the club, he wouldn't be desperately holding in whimpers as the other palmed him eagerly.

His morals left his body, now only in need of finishing. He sighed, since that was the only sound he could make without attracting unwanted attention. He glanced towards the busy group, who didn't bother to focus even a little on Logan or the younger man beside him. He rolled his head, his eyes closed, straining every fiber in him to control himself. He looked at the hand down at his pants, hearing the low panting sounds coming from Peter. His hand movements were small, worried he'd be a little too obvious with bigger ones, yet the eagerness was still all the same.

Despite his opposing, he could feel himself coming close to finishing, yet the fantasy was ruined once Erik stood up, making Peter remove his hands in a split second, making Logan involuntarily growl. He could see the other man smile greaten at the escaped sound. He stood up along with the others, Hank and Logan now being the only ones sitting down.

After a minute, he got up himself, finally managing to calm himself down. He sighed, stretching his hands before exiting the room, going straight towards his own room, picking clothes and heading towards the bathroom. He didn't waste time as he hopped into the shower, again choosing the lower bathroom. The only one who occupied the one on the bottom was Hank, who already used the shower, now leaving it to Logan. He locked the door, sighing longingly as he checked himself in the mirror. The lights were a little dimmer in this bathroom, not knowning if it's intentional or not, but it created a comforting atmosphere nonetheless.

He dropped his clothes, checking his face and neck, now flushed from the previous interaction. He sighed, growling at himself. He hopped into the shower, the water warming up as he stood under it. Fuckin' hell, he needs to get a grip. Next time he's stopping the kid, even if that means slamming him into the wall in front of everyone. Though, he's sure the other would have a weird satisfaction from it. He groaned, slamming his hand against his head. The excitement was still present from the denied release.

He groaned, leaning his head back on the tiles on the wall, letting the water fall over his shoulders down to his feet, relaxing his too tense muscles. He looked down, frowning as he noticed the still present excitement. He groaned, his mind still hazy from the lust. He felt wrong, yet the thought only excited him more. He was fucked up. He leaned against the wall, slowly grabbing himself, moaning almost too eagerly as he slowly palmed himself.

He exhaled, his breath leaving slowly, trying to slow himself down. He tried thinking of anything, anyone, any woman he'd found attractive. The girl at the bar was still available, still eager to fuck him, but he screwed up by not denying her assumptions that he has a fucking boyfriend. So his options were limited. He hadn't noticed the hardened grip on his cock as his thoughts wandered back to the interaction with Peter. The shiver ran down his spine, only making him harder, forcing a strained moan out of him.

He stayed still for a moment, debating just leaving it all together. Fuck it. It's not like anyone can read minds in the house. He closed his eyes again, this time slower, almost hesitant. He wrapped his palm around himself again, trying to imagine the hot, smaller palm that rubbed him eagerly just a few minutes ago. He whined, imagining the younger man's face. Surprised, wanting, desperate, excited. Anything works. He had a pretty face, he couldn't deny that, no one in their right mind could.

He leaned back against the wall, his head slamming just a little too agressively against the wet tiles. He groaned, speeding his hand, the need to release so big his knees almost buckled at the thought. He could imagine the kid's face, still inexperienced but not daring to stop. He might have some experience, seeing the skillful hand rub him. He'd slowly lower down onto his knees, either from nervousness or just to purely tease him. He'd wrap himself slowly around his dick, his eyes searching for approval.

Logan groaned, slamming the free hand against the wall for support. The moans escaping the younger man would be worth filming, staying in his mind forever. The high pitched noises would be almost unrecognizable, yet so fitting. He'd throw him off of him just before he finished, dropping him on the bed. Or the couch. Or basically any surface. Peter would enjoy anything, anyway. He proved that enough through their stay. Despite his rebelious persona, he'd let Logan control him any way, any time.

The thought made him groan a little too loud, speeding up impossibly fast. He'd have him bent over, grabbing the sinfully slim hips as he'd slam him down. He's sure the younger man would let him do anything to him, begging for his touch. The thought almost made him stop doing what he currently was, an exasperated sigh leaving his mouth. His hand sped up again. Peter's mouth would open, letting out the most lewd noises, screaming contently as he'd achieve what he wanted from Logan.

Logan wouldn't give in immediately, going slow. So, so slow, the man would be screaming, begging for any kind of touch. He'd watch him amusingly this time, watching the other's eyes water from the lust. He'd give in sooner than he'd want, he knows that. He couldn't resist him anyway. Despite him finally giving in, Peter would still beg, loudly, his muttered words repeating until he'd finally reach his orgasm, whining loudly, his voice breaking from the tension release. His glossy eyes would find Logan's, his eyebrows scrunched, his mouth still slightly opened as he'd whimper silently, his body relaxing, dripping.

Logan moaned at the thought, feeling himself come agressively, his knees buckling. The shower still ran, washing away all the evidence. Logan sighed, leaning his head back. It held no meaning to deny it anymore, since his want would only greaten through time. They'll leave soon enough, and the tension will disappear, finally letting Logan breathe. For now though, his fantasies could be alive. Kept for himself, and himself only. He let his mind wander off again, showering quickly before people'd start wondering what's taking him so long.

......

The next few days, Logan felt on edge. He'd catch glimpses of Peter, his gut aching every time the fantasies came alive in his head. He'd love to slam the younger man against the counter every time he slipped past him too close to his liking in the kitchen. He'd catch himself glancing at the man every time he bent over, lowered himself, catching glimpses of the slim, smooth stomach when he'd lift his hands to search around the cupboards for his favourite cereal.

He'd like to feel wrong, disgusted by his actions, but he didn't care. He wasn't acting on them, or planned to, so he technically wasn't doing anything bad. If you don't count the many fantasies in his room after his hand reached down his pants. He managed to keep it together, not letting any thought slip, keeping them safe in a deep, disturbed parts of his mind.

He watched Charles beam from happiness, his business flourishing greatly with the help of Erik. Erik wasn't exactly surprised or excited, but he looked happy for them. Logan wasn't particularly bothered by him, yet something felt off when only Charles and he hung out. He knows for a fact Erik is a little too interested, based on his reaction when Logan figured him out. If they start anything, this could ruin Charles if by some reason they separated after. He just hopes the man treats Charles as well as he deserves to be treated. He did say he was like a brother to him, anyway.

Hank mostly spent his time calling around, gathering their potential clients. They no longer needed to accept every client that offered, which was a major step for every small business. They were both practically beaming, Hank insisting he'd take care of hiring and calling, to which Logan didn't oppose. He spent his days relaxing, finally giving into his exhaustion. He woke up later than usual, taking his time refreshing himself. He shaved his face slightly, still leaving enough beard to look clean and fresh.

He made his way down to the kitchen, in search for some alcohol he'd left in the fridge. He bit his cheeks when he smelled a familiar scent enter the kitchen. He didn't turn around, choosing to ignore the man. However, Peter wasn't feeling it, immediately sliding next to him, making Logan sigh. "'Just when I thought you couldn't get hotter." Logan found his glass disappear in a second, seeing the younger man sip it. He sighed, not bothering to react. Soon he realised his mistake when the kid perked up. "No objections? You're going soft, man." Logan growled at that, grabbing the glass and chugging the rest of it, slightly glaring at Peter. "Watch it, bub."

Peter didn't react to his threats, only giggling along. Logan had to kept himself tense so he wouldn't react to the giggle. He only moved, leaning on the counter as he drank, pouring himself another glass. Peter seemed to calm down a little, joining him as he jumped on the counter. Logan's eyes only followed him, but he didn't say anything. "So, you're leaving soon. Wanna make it worth remembering?" He winked, bitting his lip, making Logan groan, covering it with an eye roll.

The smirk disappeared from the kid, his face straightening for a second. Logan's heart ached despite his opposing. As much as he hates seeing him so sickly amused, the sadness only looked worse on him. "Why don't you wanna stay here? It's pretty big." He smiled goofily at the words despite the almost melancholic tone. Logan was almost put off by it, swirling his drink in the cup as he answered with a simple smile. "Not really my style." Peter looked at him, an incredulous look washing over his face. "What? You like to live in a small cabin in the middle of a lonely forest, old man?"

Despite himself, Logan laughed, letting himself amuse the other. "Yeah, somethin' like that." Peter chuckled slightly, leaning back on his hands as he looked up, his face still facing away from Logan. Logan berated himself when he couldn't pull his gaze away immediately, simply admiring the relaxed face on the younger man. He manages to pull his eyes away before Peter looked back at him, an almost sweet smile painting his face.

"I get it. I really do. I don't like waking up every day and feeling so..alone. I don't know. You know?" his melancholic tone quickly changed to a silly one, stammering over his words. Logan chuckled lowly, making Peter's face redden. It suited him. It made him look almost innocent when he was the exact opposite. "I'd like to have a small house one day. Maybe someone with me to make it cozier, you know? I don't know, maybe one day grow a family, even if the family means a whole petting zoo. Animals are better than kids anyway." He spoke, almost passionately, a content smile on his face as he did.

Logan observed him, his lips upturned as he watched Peter babble away. He suddenly stopped, an almost grim smile now replacing the hopeful one. "I like your company. So much." He spoke, a bitersweet smirk now possessing his face. Logan looked down, not really knowing what to say. It wouldn't be fair to him. So, he just smiled. "You're not so bad yourself, bub." Peter smiled, now looking down before he whipped his head around.

He sighed, jumping down the counter. "Gotta go. It was nice talking to you, Logan." The sentence itself sounds almost silly compared to the other ones he managed to mouth. It almost felt like a whole different person. He smiled, nodding back, watching the other disappear. His name on Peter's tongue felt almost foreign compared to other nicknames, but he can't say he doesn't enjoy how sweetly it rolls off his tongue. He sighed, chugging another drink. It's becoming all too complicated.
