Chapter 6

He knew that after all the shit that went down in the past few days, he should start avoiding Peter. No unnecessary conversations, no sneaky glances, no thoughts he fought so hard to suppress. Yet he didn't. Shamefully, he didn't even try. He knew it was the safer, better option, but he was tired of it.

No matter the rushing mind, he hadn't tried anything with the boy, even if he wouldn't particularly mind. He had to think of the consequences not only for him but also for everyone else included. His first attempts of ignoring quickly failed with a bat of his deep dark eyes or even the smallest of soft smiles from the younger man. He was only a man after all.

Despite it, he still managed to growl at him or roll his eyes to cover his fastening heartbeat or deeper breaths. Every day past their supposed stay, Logan couldn't help but glance every time Peter made himself present. His eyes often lingered on him for a second too long, having to awkwardly excuse himself after. It's not like anyone paid attention, nobody knew what was brewing in Logan's head, yet he worried his ogling became too obvious.

It was certainly obvious to Peter, who didn't hold back on flaunting his ass in front of his face at every given opportunity, making Logan seeth with rage, not sure if he's more angry at Peter or himself. It'd be much easier if the kid wasn't so goddamn persistent. His smirk imprinted inside his brain, haunting him late at night, which is the reason for the lack of sleep. Unfortunately, as time passed, his lewd fantasises urged to come true, making it difficult to pass every day for Logan.

Charles seemed to have no complaints, mostly focused on their newfound business, practically jumping at every possible mention. Logan was excited himself, even more excited to go home, which wasn't happening any time soon. If they were more professional, which they should've been, they'd stay in a rented house or atleast a hotel, but with their lack of knowledge, Erik gladly offered them to stay, which, to their fault, they reluctantly accepted.

Despite their somewhat warm welcome, they felt intrusive as the days passed, the strong personalities from every person almost exhausting to see after hard day of work. Especially the overly clingy one. Logan sighed shakily as he gripped the sides of the counter. After his failed attempts to keep focus on the actual important thing, which was the reason they came here, he excused himself from the company one too many times.

He was gripping the sides of the counter, gazing at the empty corners of the kitchen. He exhaled longingly, fixing his messy hair, slowly pacing around. His self control only went so far, and the quick silent jerkoffs in his room soon just left him unsatisfied. His mind raced in every possible way, sometimes even cringing himself out at the intrusive thoughts.

Just by his luck, he heard the ever so quiet footsteps enter the room, the familiar smell making his mouth water. He didn't turn around, grabbing a poor can of beer instead. As if the kid could read him fluently, he slowly closed up on him, letting his hand brush on his thigh ever so slightly. He wondered if Peter had some kind of fetish for thighs, or if he just knew it sent Logan over the edge with it. Any way, he turned around, restraining a twitch that threatened to reveal itself.

He hoped the man didn't have any lewd intentions, perhaps too tired or irritated for it, but a sly smirk revealed the opposite. He closed his eyes for a quick second, preparing himself for the words that were about to escaped the younger man's mouth. "So how long do I actually have to tease you 'till you give in?" The tone in which he spoke sounded almost innocent if it wasn't for the words. He leaned back, staring up at Logan as if he's the one being tortured, his hand crossed at his chest.

Logan only growled, pushing past Peter. Peter didn't seem to accept the answer, siding next to him, his finger tracing his arm, making Logan stop walking and turn around, throwing an irritated expression on, hopefully covering the small hitch that escaped at the unexpected touch. "C'mon, I can practically see it on your face. I promise I won't tell anyone." The faux innocent expression on the kid's face made Logan silent for a second, trying to sound convincing as he pushed him aside. "Not interested. Go bother someone else, bub."

A menacing smile flashed on Peter's face. "Nope. I know what I want. You know it too." He tilted his head sideways, the sweet tone almost making Logan lose his cool. He pushed past him, trying to ignore the twitch in his pants as he walked outside, leaving his beer in the kitchen. He sat in his car, no words leaving his mouth as he turned the engine on, already driving to town. He needs to get out otherwise he'd lose his control. And the kid knows it too, he could feel the small victorious smile painting Peter's face as he exited the mansion.

He ended at the bar, of course he did, the sky already darkening, the orange hue painting it as he entered the pub, sitting at the stool, attracting attention from the bartender. He looked around the place as he waited for his drink. The atmosphere was better with the naturally dim light, he thought, nodding in acknowledgement as he received his drink. He didn't waste time as he chugged 'till the glass was empty, signing for the man for another round. The man behind the counter shot him a knowing look, seemingly understanding Logan's wallowing intentions.

Logan thanked him silently as he passed him the drink, looking around with a stern expression. The growing bulge is getting harder to ignore, cursing himself mentally as the realisation hit. It shouldn't get to him that much, but it did. It did, very much, and it pissed Logan off. He growled, this time taking his time with his second drink. His travelling eyes stopped on a group of women, clearly clearly sloshed, slightly cringing Logan with the celebratory screeches.

The group got louder, making Logan turn his head back to the drink, a slight migraine threatening to poke through. His gaze returned back up when a grinning girl tapped him on the shoulder, greeting him loudly. He could smell the alcohol off her breath, his eyes glancing at the group, seeing them squeal as if it was a middle school dare.

He looked back at the girl who was now ordering herself a drink. "Y' want anythin'?" Logan shook his head, a polite smile appearing on his face as he lifted his glass up. The girl nodded, sitting next to him after talking with the bartender. "So. You're new here?" The slurred words were noticeable, her grin widening as she spoke. "Yeah, somethin' like that." She nodded, flicking her bleached hair back, pushing her breast forward awkwardly noticeably.

Logan thought of politely rejecting her, the girl was too wasted to even move properly, but the hot erection spoke differently. He flashed her a smirk, throwing some cheap lines 'till she blushed, glancing awkwardly at him. Her attempts at flirting were poor, but he'll give her the benefit of the doubt, seeing how drunk she was.

It didn't take much time as he drove back, not giving a shit if this wasn't his actual house. He's sure nobody would particularly mind. The hour now almost showed midnight, since Logan tried keeping the girl to talk, maybe sober up a little, which he gave up on when the drinks kept flowing to them from the group a few tables away. She giggled as he threw her on his bed, her squeals almost unappealing to Logan's ears, which he tried to ignore.

He didn't waste time on kissing, quickly ridding himself from his clothes, seeing the girl do the same. She climbed onto him, Logan grabbing her unstable hips as she settled herself on him. He groaned, feeling the soft body lay on his, his thoughts almost slipping away before he pulled himself back. He opened his eyes, seeing the girl finally impale himself on his dick, pulling another groan from him, making him close his eyes again.

Her high pitched squeals were covered by the sounds of skin slapping, with small groans escaping Logan's mouth. His mind ran wild, flashing everything but the current scene. His drunken mind wasn't very creative, quickly pushing the slim hips he thought of so many nights in his head. The sounds she made were almost similar to the ones he imagined Peter would make, which made his grip tighten almost too much, stopping the girl for a second before she clumsily continued.

Despite his tries, his mind kept slipping to him, his face almost hauntingly accurate in his head, pulling a loud groan out of him. The girl moaned, thinking the groan was for her. He almost felt bad, but the pleasure overpowered any feeling of guilt. The image didn't escape him, now almost painting the scene above him. The girl's voice became loud, too loud, too distinct, making Logan growl. He pushed his hips upward, trying to finish soon.

He could almost hear the sweet moans from the man, so much silkier than the woman's. His dark eyes would stare into his, his mouth slightly pressed into a small circled form, letting out wanton moans as he'd use Logan's chest for support. He groaned loudly, slamming his hips more agressively. The girl squealed loudly, bringing back Logan's attention.

She squealed as he suddenly gripped her harshly, switching their positions, closing his eyes as he slammed back into her. He almost felt angered by her drunken giggles, now even more agressively slamming, repeatedly, making the girl's giggles turn into broken moans. His mind redirected back, making him sigh as he imagined the desperate body underneath him. He gasped as he sped up, hearing the distant moan escape from the girl, tightening enough to bring Logan to the edge, the last flash of Peter's face on his mind as he released.

She groaned a few times as he pulled out, his head woozy as he laid down, sighing brokenly. The girl made herself comfortable next to him and he could feel the small smile on her face. Before he could stop himself, he silently mouthed the words. "You should go." The girl lifted her head after a few seconds, not sure if she heard him right. "What? C'mon, you're not serious." The proud grin almost made him grimace, repeating his words. She frowned, almost confused by the sudden change.

He almost looked apologetic, to which she scoffed, getting up to pick her clothes. Her face softened for the last time, speaking lowly again. "Won't you atleast walk me home? It's late." She complained, her face frowning as if it's he's in the wrong. It's a quick fuck, for fuck's sake. He stayed quiet for a moment, slipping out a small 'sorry', which she chose to ignore. He stood up, walking to his door as he watched her stomp out. Sure, he felt bad, but not guilty. His now hooded eyes eyes travelled to the room a few doors away, which he passed so many times while drunk, it's doors shut while music played. His drunken urge to walk up to them and knock was stronger than ever, not sure what he'd do if he did it.

At the last second, he resigned, closing the door with a long sigh, palming his face, his now almost vision blury. The sex itself wasn't much satisfying, but it did release some tension from him. It'll probably become a common occurrence for him. Hopefully, by the next following nights his mind won't travel away again, gaining focus for the moment. His body hit the bed, thankfully exhausted, slipping into a well deserved slumber.

......

He woke up late, the stronger sun warming his face, making him open his eyes with a grunt. He rolled out of bed, rushing into the nearest bathroom for a quick shower. He somewhat cringed at last night's memories, which he tried to repress. It seemed to work well enough.

He entered the living room, his skin itchy from the nervousness. He wasn't sure why and he didn't want to think about it. He sat beside Hank, who gave him a quick glance of acknowledgement which Logan didn't bother reciprocate. He was in a mood today, apparently, and he wasn't gonna answer for it. His eyes found Charles' figure standing with Erik, speaking engrossingly despite their stern faces. His eyes switched back to Hank when he heard his voice.

"They've been like this for almost an hour. I've decided not to intervene." Logan listened while keeping his eyes on the pair, now squeezing with confusion. He didn't bother, throwing a low 'good call' to Hank as he busied himself with grabbing a drink, heading to the kitchen. It was noon anyway.

He froze when he heard the familiar humming behind his back. Why he felt nervous, he didn't know, only covering it with a growl as he turned. His eyebrows quirked when he noticed the busy man. He didn't seem particularly interested in talking to Logan. He tried anyway. "Just woke up?" Peter's eyes shot up when he noticed Logan was talking to him. Logan paced slowly, preparing for the uncalled words from the kid.

"Yep, who would've thought." He offered, with a slightly ubeat tone, sensing a little sarcasm, though his face showed no same effect. He moved past Logan, searching through the fridge for a minute. Logan was surprised, pleasantly or not, when he recieved no remark on his staring habits. He greeted him awfully normally, excusing himself to the living room.

Logan's eyebrows lifted again when the unnecessary touch of his leg or hip never came. A small victorious smile appeared on his face. He doesn't know what came over the kid, but he seemed to finally restrain his lewd tendencies. A small win on Logan's side. He chuckled quietly as he drank his beer, feeling almost relieved.

He reentered the living room, seeing Peter curiously talking with Hank, both of them staring at the other pair. Logan sat with them, asking for context. "There's something fishy going on." Hank answered with a quirked eyebrow, glancing curiously at Peter. Peter returned the look, his smile now almost amused. "Tell me about it."

Hank threw a few jokes at the pair, making Peter cover his giggles, failing at it pretty much every time. Logan smiled before his face fell, noticing the lack of glances from Peter's side. His attention was once again broken when Charles sat next to them, his satisfied smile failing when he noticed the curious expressions from the three. "What?" Logan barely restrained an eyeroll, stating the obvious. "What was that all about?"

Charles seemed to realise the words, glancing back at Erik a few feet away before his gaze eturned, his cheeks almost unnoticeably rosy. "Nothing, he just had a few business idea he thought I'd like." The bunch exchanged a few doubting glances, replying with simple 'uh-uh's until Charles rolled his eyes, scoffing at their immature acts.

The conversation started running smoothly a few moments later, Erik joining them soon after as they sat at the conference table to talk again. While Charles quickly started speaking leaving no space for others, Logan took his time to let his mind travel again. He wouldn't get a single word in anyway. He couldn't help but notice the lack of Peter's presence, probably since this meeting won't last long anyway. Maybe he lost interest in teasing Logan, which brought a small pang in his chest, but also a small smile on his face.

They exited after Logan when the conversation turned more into gossip than meeting, ignoring Logan's complaining grunts as they spoke further. Logan sat into the empty living room - well, not so empty, seeing the silver hair layed out on the couch, sighing as he dropped himself on the other sofa. His eyebrow quirked in surprise when he noticed the unusual silence from the younger man, almost a daring one.

"Cat got your tongue, kid?" Peter's eyes lifted from his phone, that familiar sparkle still in his eye, though it felt suppressed now. "Nah, just not in the mood. I'm sure one of your lady friends would love to talk to you if you're so desperate for it." The sarcasm in his words barely covered the snark in his tone, much similar to Raven's. Logan's eyes traced behind Peter as he got up after the spoken words, leaving no space for amused glances.

His eyes still stuck on the door, almost not noticing the change in the weight on the couch beside him, glancing at the figure as Hank cleared his throat. "You okay?" The genuine concern in his voice made Logan bite back the sarcastic response, nodding with a quiet grunt. Hank nodded, both of them falling into somewhat awkward silence until Logan broke it. "What's up with the kid?"

Hank's eyes turned back to him, a confused expression on his face changing into a knowing one. "You mean Peter?" Logan rolled his eyes at the change of the nickname. It seems the kid got to him too. "Yes, him." His tone was still harsh, though Hank didn't bother being fazed. "He looks fine to me. Why? Do you miss the attention?" Logan's eyes widened, surprised by the man's direct answer, almost unusal for him. He stood silent for just a second, switching his surprised face to unamused one.

"Don't know what you're talking 'bout, bub." Hank nodded indifferently, a now amused smile painting his face, making Logan clench his fists. The silence that followed felt more awkward than before, yet none of them spoke for a minute. Hank stood up, turning in an almost mocking fashion, almost giddy to talk. "Everyone knows you brought a 'friend' with you last night. I think you can guess who actually had a problem with it." He muttered a quick 'see ya' to a now confused Logan, who still firmly sat on the couch in the now vacant room.

Surely, Erik didn't seem to mind. He greeted him as normal, stuck-up as ever, nothing new. Hank's words haunted his mind more than they should. Charles looked way too busy conversing with Erik to care what Logan did. He did notice the sudden withdrawal from a certain youngster, though he'd blame it on the lack of interest. Though, his mind seemed to scream at him to listen.

The unusual conversations, which were morally usual than the ones they normally have, felt almost empty, which didn't particularly concern Logan, yet he was still curious. He remembered the snarky remarks just a few minutes ago that flew from Peter's mouth almost irritatingly so, leaving Logan confused. With Hank's words in his head, it felt less confusing now. So that's the game Peter was playing. He smirked at the sudden show of jealousy. Despite his thinking that it might've just been teenage hormones, now leaving him uninterested, the idea of him being jealous made Logan selfishly more excited.

They still had a few days to go, which should make it more interesting. He didn't bother talking to him for the rest of the day, which seemed fine with Peter. Logan was surprised by the kid's stubbornness, yet also amused by it. He wants to see how much he can push the kid until he breaks. And just like that, he found himself busy again.
