Small Talk 2
Scott, Bobby, Rogue and some of the others just finished up training in the danger room. Most of them venture off to wherever they need to be while a few of them stay back to take showers in the locker room before heading to the classes they need to teach or sit in on for the day— Once the room is clear of everyone besides Bobby, John comes up behind him leaning against the lockers. Iceman is fixing his hair, with only a towel snug around his waist. Which John takes attention to, his eyes scan the body in front of him. Bobby glances at him through the mirror; "need something?” Pyro ponders on the question for a minute, not sure where he is supposed to go with this conversation or even how to start it.
To be honest he doesn't even wanna do this, and he doesn't necessarily have to but he is already here and Kitty made a good point earlier so what's the harm??— the harm is Bobby is his teammate, his coworker in a way and if he says something stupid right now it will make everything awkward between them. Sleeping together is one thing, everyone knows how to pretend it didn't happen the next day. But trying to take their relationship further, to venture into the romantic prospect is a little less easier to forget. Especially if Bobby doesn't have a good reaction — okay maybe this isn't a good idea— "are you just gonna stand there and stare at me"? Bobby's voice yanks John out of his wandering thoughts.
"I might, it's a good view", John lets a small grin peek through as he speaks. Maybe he'll just flirt a little and see where it goes. Honestly it's what he's best at, it goes hand in hand with his cockiness, it gets him through a lot of situations he doesn't wanna be in. Bobby turns around and leans against the sink. There goes John's eyes wondering again, dragging down the lean chest that has a few light hickeys scattered along it — oh god he forgot about those, how they got there. How it felt to have his lips sucking at the man's skin, the noises he let out— John focus, focus. Pyro blinks a few times before looking every where but at the body in front of him. "But that's not why I'm here, Kitty wants me to talk to you" John finally starts saying what he's truly come here to say.
"Why? Did you tell her what we did"? Bobby's tone sounds a little worried like he doesn't want people to know what went down. Everyone know's Bobby is gay, that isn't a new thing. But it isn’t their business what they do behind closed doors, so he guesses people knowing wouldn't be exactly what he wants. "No, she saw us walk away together and well she's not dumb" John adjusts his stance, crossing his legs as he speaks. He brings his hand up to run it through his hair— John is nervous it is apparent by how much he is moving around. "She just.. I don't know, wants me to talk to you", he has no idea what he is saying, it isn't making any sense. But I guess Bobby has an idea...
"She wants you to ask me on date"? Iceman says bluntly which catches John completely off guard. "Woah, I mean I guess— I think" John has a habit of stumbling over words when he is nervous. Even for someone who has his walls up at all times, making sure to never look weak — He rarely even gets nervous anyways, but for some reason he is now. Maybe because he isn't used to this whole asking someone out thing, it's new to him. Either he is being asked out, or every person he gets with is a one time thing. Or maybe it's simply because he's been eyeing Bobby since they were teenagers and now that this is finally happening he can't think straight. Sex is one thing, he can do that without getting nervous because of the whole ‘heat of the moment’ thing, even with Bobby. But this is new, this is more intimate.
Bobby takes a few steps towards him, his hands clasped behind his back like he is trying to stop himself from reaching out. "Tell her she should ask out Rogue, they'd be a good fix", Bobby keeps moving closer as he speaks. And John doesn't make any move to get away, he lets himself get trap between the lockers and Bobby. This is starting to feel more familiar, they are crossing the line into sexual once again. It makes John's nerves calm, to know Bobby isn't technically turning him down. "Tell her yourself, snowman" he says with a slight grin. Every time John says something cocky he accompanies it with a grin just to make the other person more annoyed— Bobby is now fully in his space, their bodies are close to touching and it takes everything in John to not slam him into a near by wall—
I guess he doesn't have enough strength because before he thinks about it, Bobby is being backed up, hurriedly into a nearby shower stall, as their lips barely hold contact in a hungry kiss. With a grunt Iceman's back hits the wall, bouncing slightly forward from the impact. The towel that was once tight around his waist slips off, revealing what's underneath. John pulls away only for a few seconds so he can close and lock the stall door. The place won't necessarily muffle any noises, just hide them from being seen. If someone walks in hopefully they'll still have a coherent enough thought to stay quiet. Or maybe right now have one, maybe they'll be smart and continue this is one of their locked private rooms. But that isn't the case..
John grips at Bobby's waist, his nails digging into the perfect soft skin as he pulls their bodies together firmly. "Someone's gonna hear us", Bobby says in between hurried kisses. Pryo isn't slowing down, he doesn't give any sign of stopping. Instead he bites the other man's lip before dropping to his knees; "then you'll just have to be quiet" John grins up at him. That stupid fucking grin, it drives Bobby crazy with need but also awe. John nuzzles his face against the growing hard on in front of him, soon dipping his tongue out to drag along the base. They lock eyes, John gazing up at him through his eyelashes as he continues using his tongue to please the other boy. Bobby's head feels like it is spinning, the feeling of Pyro's tongue while looking into his eyes.
It is definitely a sight to see.. He basically grew up with John, he was always the tough kid who hated everyone around him, still is — but Bobby never thought he'd see the day where John is on his knees, worshipping his cock with his mouth. But it's happening now, and it happened yesterday. Holy shit he needs it to happen everyday. John's lips nip at the tip for a bit until he engulfs him, taking him fully in like he is made for it. He wants to feel every-fucking-inch— Soon his nose is nuzzled in Bobby's pubic hair, his eyes closing tight as he sucks around him. Iceman wraps his fingers in John's hair, using it to hold him down before pulling his head back. When Pyro's lips pop off the top, a string of saliva connects from the head to his glossy red lips. "fuck my mouth" John says through heavy breaths and a slight curl of his lips.
John doesn't have a filter when it comes to talking but damn that has to be the dirtiest thing he's heard him say. Especially since he literally meant it, and isn't just saying it to piss someone off. Bobby inches Pyro's face closer to his cock, letting the head rub against his cheek. John's mouth falls open his tongue shooting out to wet his lips, silently inviting him in. Bobby takes the offer— he slowly enters his warm mouth. He starts with just the tip so John can put his tongue to good work. Bobby tastes good, salty and bitter but I guess what John feels for him makes him treasure the taste. He swirls his tongue around the tip, occasionally letting it lie flat so he can suck around it. Which always earns a gutted moan from Bobby — John likes the sound, he can hear it forever and not get tired of it.
Soon Bobby is pushing his hips forward, moving deeper into the warmth. He doesn't stop until John gags, but even then he doesn't pull out. He lets Pyro get used to the fullness, lets him relax his throat and focus on breathing through his nose before he makes John take him fully in. If he is gonna fuck his mouth, he wants to make sure John doesn't have to end up tapping out from not being well prepared. Which is a hell of a statement since John has more practice than Bobby knows— Eventually breathing is no longer an option when Iceman makes him take him all the way in. Pressing against the back of his throat, cutting off his air. It burns, his lips being stretched, a pressure against the back of his throat but John likes it.
Bobby tightens his fingers in John's hair, using it to keep his head still as he pulls his hips back and pushes back in. Everytime he pulls out John takes the chance to take a breath but is quickly cut off when Bobby push's back in filling him to the brim. John brings one hand up to hold onto Iceman's hip, while the other clenches around his thigh. It isn't long before Bobby is getting more quick with his movements, his breathing also quickening. John's mouth is warm just like the rest of him, to be buried in it is the best feeling. Not to mention when Pyro groans around him it sends a vibration down his cock, spiking the pleasure coursing through his body. Bobby can feel the noises he's making before hearing them, it's enticing.
It is so quiet in the locker room, all you can hear is the obscene noises coming from them both. From the noise of Bobby's cock sliding in and out of John's wet mouth, to the noise of John choking every so often and groaning, to the heavy breathing and moans coming from Bobby. Who is quickly nearing his orgasm, the pleasure is building quickly. Luckily almost everyone is busy with classes so no one should walk in to hear the activities they are getting up to. Pyro is choked off one final time, being held in place as Bobby is pushing at the back of his throat. John gets the signal to hollow out his cheeks and suck him down. And from how Bobby is sounding, John knows he is doing it exactly right. Finally with one last broken moan Iceman finishes, thick spurts coating the back of his throat.
When the hand in his hair is finally gone, John pulls off him. His breath comes out heavy and quick after he swallows the rest of Bobby — it isn't the best taste, it never is. Who ever says cum tastes good is lying, but it also isn't the worst— John wipes the drool off his chin before making his way up onto his feet. It isn't until now that he realizes just how much his knees hurt from kneeling, the ground is concrete so that does not help. "Good"? Pyro asks as he stands, very close to the other man. Bobby nods slightly, catching his breath as well. John locks their lips one last time. Letting Bobby taste the reminisces of himself before John backs away to grab the abandoned towel, throwing it at him. "You can get dressed now" he says with that grin once again —
John leans against the lockers as he watches Bobby get dressed. His eyes make sure to follow every movement, like the way he pulls his boxers up to sit snug around his waist. He even watches the way Bobby's back muscles flex when he leans down— "look, I think it's better we don't go into something more serious, let's just have fun". Bobby's voice, and his words snap John out of his daze. "Oh, alright" Pyro straightens his stance as he speaks, he is kind of upset but maybe it's for the best. "Sorry", Bobby looks over at him, eyeing the boy up and down before looking away— Bobby has been waiting a while for the moment he can get a chance with John. Like six years while. But things always got in the way. It is no secret he is gay, everyone knows that but even with being out a lot of feelings don't fade.
Bobby grew up with religious parents who did everything in their power to cure him. It got to the point he even started believing himself that being gay is wrong. And even after years of being around people who accept him it never has really gone away. Liking a guy or kissing one never sits right in his gut. But after a while he got more comfortable with the whole sex part, it is the only way to not completely lose this true, real part of himself. But getting serious with another boy never feels right, it always brings up old feelings of fear and disgust that who he is, is wrong. His parents will think of him as a disappointment for bringing home a boyfriend not a girlfriend. And god forbid he marries a man. It is easier to just have fun to keep it on the down low, nothing serious, nothing no one has to know about. Plus he's been warned about John, it's another reason he’s never made a move.
It is no secret that Pyro has a habit of making people's lives miserable. And not because he's annoying but because he doesn't know how to control his emotions, and in the heat of the moment he lashes out. It's the main reason the Professor hesitated on letting him join the X-men. Some say he's worse than Logan. So Bobby doesn't wanna risk getting his heart broken, especially by someone he's forced to see everyday— "I've gotta go now, I'm gonna be late" Bobby says as he finishes tying his shoe. John just nods before they part ways. Bobby has a class to teach and John goes on his way to find Kitty before it is their turn to teach, well until Kitty has to. John doesn't get a class to teach which he is completely fine about, that is the one thing he's happy about, that he gets to avoid it. He just sits in on classes, helping around if needed—
"So did you talk to him"? Kitty hums as she walks next to him. John clears his throat, still feeling his earlier actives; "yeah kinda". Kitty looks over at him, her eyebrows raising as she waits for further information. "He said it's better if we don't get into something serious, that we just have fun", his voice drops quieter like he doesn't want anyone to hear. John isn't openly gay but at the same time he doesn't care if anyone knows. No one bothers to ask so there is no point of announcing it— He just knows that maybe Bobby doesn't want anyone to know what is going on between them. So he tries to be quiet about it— "he also said you should ask Rogue out", there is that stupid grin across John's face again when he says that. Kitty instantly takes offense as she stops walking; "and why would I do that"?
Pyro raises his eyebrows and gives her that look of; come on. "You aren't the only one who notices stuff" John speaks as he continues walking, hoping she follows behind. And she does. "No—no, she's pretty but she's annoying and you know.. straight", her nose scrunches up as she makes a disgusted face. Everyone know's Kitty likes her, it is pretty obvious. To everyone but them. Kitty always flirts with her without really meaning to but Rogue goes along with it so there's a pretty high chance she isn't straight. Or maybe she's just really kind and doesn't wanna hurt her feelings— "I talked to Bobby like you said, so it's your turn to talk to Rogue", John urges her. It's not the dumbest idea he's ever had, but it's differently high up on the list. "Maybe.. but you should tell me about last night" Kitty quickly changes the conversation, an innocent smile on her face. They have personal conversations like this all the time, well at least every time one of them sleeps with someone new. All details have to be dropped, nothing is ever too personal.
"Let's just say I should've got with him years ago", there is a little more pep in his tone. A sign that he's in a good mood, and that he's not exaggerating about how good last night was. The smile on his face also gives that away. "I will definitely be going back for thirds", a small laugh erupts after he finishes his words. It comes out sounding like a joke but in no way is it. "Wait thirds? When did the second time happen"? Kitty asks, more intrigued by the new information. They have a class to teach soon but right now this is much more important. Pyro is finally getting into something more than just a one night stand, it's all new and she needs to know everything. "I said we kind of talked this morning", John winks at her. Within seconds it hits her, what he really means by that—
"You look oddly happy and energized today", Rogue says with a tone that's hinting it's more of a question as to why. Bobby ignores her at first instead focusing on his task at hand, which is getting students tests together— John has Kitty, and well Bobby has Rogue. Plus a lot of other friends but closest to her, definitely not as strong as Kitty's and John’s though. Bobby doesn't go around having super close friends, just a bunch of small friends, which includes every adult and teenager at this school. He gets along with everyone, especially Scott. Honestly everyone would say it's because he was the teachers pet back when he was a student and Scott was his teacher. So they were bound to get along well. Bobby just has to be kind to everyone and always be the good popular kid even as an adult— "you slept with someone didn't you"? Rogue perks up.
Bobby is quick to shut that down. "What? No, why would you say that" he's stumbling over his words, a tell-tell sign he's lying. Rogue just smiles, she's known him for long enough to know what his moods mean. And this one, being energetic and cheerful at the same time? He got with someone and it's giving a little pep in his step. "Oh come on you always tell me when you get with someone new" she makes her way closer to Bobby and a little whine in her tone— he usually does tell her, they're close enough for that but it's different this time. John's different. Iceman doesn't really understand why he makes it different, maybe it's the fact everyone knows Pyro isn't a good idea, or it's the fact he's been pining for this guy since he was 15. It's probably both, and he knows Rogue will probably scold him for doing it with freaking St. John Allerdyce of all people.
"Was it Warren again"? Bobby and Warren Worthington had a thing back when they were teenagers for a couple years. Not dating, just kind of what he and John have going on now. But things got bumpy towards the end and Warren left to do his own thing, while Bobby stayed back at the school. "Oh god no, I haven't seen him in over a year" Bobby repulses. He hates thinking about him now and it's not because Warren was a bad person. He was great actually, amazing. But he wanted to make things official, it got serious. And Bobby doesn't do serious— "Good.. so who was it"? Rogue keeps prying. She's not gonna give up and Bobby knows that. He finally stops what he's doing and turns towards her; "It was John". The second he's done talking he turns to walk away.
"Wait John? Like Pyro John"? She's following right behind, right on his heels. Bobby tucks the papers into the desk drawer, he'll grade them later today. "No cause there's definitely another John we know" Bobby's tone is overly sarcastic, which causes a hand to smack the side of his head. "Don't get smart with me" she warns but quickly loops back around to the main conversation; "you slept with John of all people?Come on you know better Bobby", her voice is carrying louder than he prefers. No one's in the classroom except them but still anyone can walk by and he doesn't exactly want to share this with anyone else, or really anyone for a matter of fact but it's too late now. "Well I wasn't planning to end up in bed with him, things just kind of happened" Bobby turns around to lean against the desk as he speaks, now facing Rogue—
He wasn't per-say planning it, it was more on his agenda as a possible idea. That has now perchance turned from one time thing to a two time thing, and maybe a few more times. He's already dug the hole it's too late to crawl out, plus Bobby doesn't think he can move on with his life without ever experiencing fucking John again. He hasn't been with a handful of guys but last night definitely makes it to the top of his list. It was probably the best sex he's ever had, he'll never admit that out loud though. Especially to John, that would boost his ego too much and Bobby would never hear the end of it— "well it's not gonna happen again, right"? Rogue asks, she sounds like she's his mother. But really she's just trying to protect her best friend from getting hurt. She's seen how John is, how he hurts everyone he meets, both emotionally and physically. She doesn't want that for Bobby.
All he does is clear his throat and straighten his stance, getting ready to walk away. He doesn't know where, he has nowhere to be, just wants to get out of here. "It happened again already didn't it"? Damn her for being able to read Bobby so well— he's also just a horrible liar. Everything you need to know can be seen in his face or body language. Especially when he's sad, his eyebrows burrow ever so slightly and his eyes soften to the point it looks like he's about to cry— "look you don't have to tell me this is a bad decision, I know how John is but I'm an adult now I'll be fine, I know better" Bobby explains in a hurring tone before Rogue can say anything. "If you knew better you wouldn't be doing it in the first place", she's not wrong. Him and Warren parted ways on good terms but that still messed Bobby up for months, you can't imagine the damage John can inflict.
He's not careful with his words or actions, when Pyro wants to do or say something he does it. It doesn't matter who it affects or who's the one left picking up the broken pieces. You'd think since they aren't dating John can't do much harm, the worst thing that can happen is they stop sleeping together. And they've already passed the hurtle of wanting to make it serious, that was handled. But John has a way of making everyone else's lives miserable as long as you're around him. Bobby just hopes there's some good in him too, some part of Pyro that isn't looking to hurt him— a lot of people the past six years he's been here always describe John as callous and arrogant. It doesn't matter who gets caught in his cross fire as long as he ends up on top. Maybe that's true, all signs point to it. But no one actually knows anything about him, what if he got hurt so bad in his past he's just trying to avoid it again?
