Glee/Flash "Who the fuck are you and what have you done with Sebastian Smythe?"
Barry runs into Jitters, mentally chanting, Late late late again, only to spot the familiar figure of Hunter Clarington in line. He panics, but when he turns to rush out, he's shocked to see another familiar face from years ago - Santana Lopez is at a table. And she's looking right at him. With the options of Hunter or Satan herself, Barry knows he only has one real choice - he dives for the empty seat at Santana's table and hisses, "Please, please, please pretend I'm no one and don't make a scene."
When her wide eyes narrow and glance over his shoulder, he sees the exact moment she spots Hunter, too. Mouth stretching in a grimace, she huffs quietly but doesn't comment. She just leans casually over her purse and pulls out a dark beanie that she stuffs into his hand. When he only stares, she scowls at him, "Put it on, twink, and keep your head down. He's heading this way."
Barry jerks, but obeys, and only sees Santana tipping her face down into her purse again out of the corner of his eye as he pretends to browse the menu. They both keep quiet until Hunter is out of sight from the windows. Then he releases a desperately grateful sigh and yanks off the beanie.
"Thank you," he says as sincerely as he can, before he has to ask, "But why help me, Satan?"
She raises a single judging eyebrow at him and takes the beanie back.
"Smythe, you may have been a grade A douchebag in high school, but I wouldn't abandon even my homophobic grandmother to a fucking stain on humanity like Clarington." He blinks and then snorts himself straight into a fit of probably hysterical giggles.
Her other eyebrow goes up, "Okay, who the fuck are you and what have you done with Sebastian Smythe?"
They end up being long distance friends for about a year, neither of them mentioning it to anyone. And then Barry gets hit by lightning.
[Barry wakes up to Santana's vicious smile and groans, "Fuck, I should have known I'd end up in hell one day."]
