BNHA Time Traveling Izuku Scene
This was too funny. Izuku bit his lip until it bled, but he couldn't help it - he laughed. From the looks on his classmate's faces, the breathless, hysterical sound wasn't what they expected. He sucked in enough air to speak.
"You really think a few broken bones are more than I'm willing to trade for their safety?"
Izuku choked down another round of giggles, letting his smile widen until it felt vicious enough to be natural.
"You think I'll step back? You must think me pretty pathetic if all it takes is a threat like that. So let me correct you: I'm not stepping back. I'm not slowing down. Send your Noumu - send your best."
Slowly, so slowly, Izuku let One for All fill him, lighting up his feet and his fists, then his arms, his legs, his chest, his teeth. It hurt like being burned alive, turning inside out, this body so unprepared for the full might of his quirk.
"Please don't insult me again, Shigaraki. Maybe you really have no concept of the sacrifices I would make for these people, but I won't be so forgiving twice. Broken bones are meaningless, lost limbs, lost senses, pain - none of it will sway me from standing between you and UA, you and All Might, you and any target you can name."
