Summary

Naruto was an orphan. That was the hand that he was dealt. It wasn't what he wanted, but at a young age, he learned that he would never get what he wanted. And so because he was an orphan since his birth his whole life was planned for him. The plan was that Naruto Uzumaki was to be a shinobi for the hidden village of the leaf; their greatest weapon.

Before you start reading this story here are somethings you need to know1.) I can't write fighting scenes to save my life sooo there will be no fighting scenes in this story. That being said it doen't mean that there won't be any conflict. No there will be conflict and drama going on but there won't be any fighting scenes that are told in detail. What will happen is that the fighting won't take place "on screen" but the fighting will be adress by either being summarized if it's important to the plot or it will just be acknoldge.2.) This WILL NOT FOLLOW the Naruto timeline at all, cuz the plot calls for it.3.) Last but not least I do not own Naruto that belongs to Masashi Kishimoto but this sotry, Life Is Not Fair, belongs to me.

Hello everyone,

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry for making those who subscribed wait for an update. To be honest I hesitated to even post this mostly because it felt like everything I wrote were just excuses. When I first started writing this story I was supper excited and couldn't help but keep coming up with ideas for the plot. Once I poste the story the excitement was still there but little by little it became harder to write. At first it was due to the pandemic and my declining mental health and by the time I finally managed to sit down and write again everything was different. Life Isn't Fait will always hold a dear place to me because it is the first fic that I dedicated my all to writing. Maybe it's my low self esteem that made me lose the desired to continue writing this particular fic or maybe it was due to the period of time I been writing it for. While it has been a struggle for me to continue writing Life Isn't Fair I have been writing other stories that I'm excited to post. I been posting one shots while the longer flics I won't be posting until I have half or more of it write out so that I can keep a posting schedule. Over at https://againstyweare.carrd.co/ there's a small summary of fics that I have in the works if you guys are interested in checking that out.

A part of me doesn't want to abandon this work. I truly do believe that the story is one that hasn't really been seen in the fandom and that's what really keeps me from calling it quits. But I know that if I force myself to continue writing the story that I won't be giving it my all and that end result will not be up to my standards (nothing I ever write is up to my standards so again that might just be a self-esteem issue). I'll post the outline I had written out for the story later today or tomorrow, once I clean it up and if anyone is interested in adopting this work and making it their own feel free to leave me a message over at my twitter @mtjjxfx and we can talk more about it.

Once again I'm truly sorry about leaving you guys hanging for so long and for not continuing this story.
