The beginning
He was falling. He was happy to accept that fact, he wasn’t sure how he got here really well that’s a lie. He knew exactly why he was falling and staring up at the sky, watching the sunset as he fell backwards, he could see the cliff he fell well… Jumped off because he hasn’t been happy in such a long time. He smiled brightly as he stared up at the sky, watching the beautiful sky of golden, blue and pink paint the sky as the moon slowly raised and the sun went down. He was so happy to see the sky darken for the last time… Just as star’s started to scatter along the skies he felt three spike’s stabs through hum. He felt the spikes go through not only his stomach but one through his head. He was happy to have such a quick death, he didn't want a slow one. The last thing he saw was the darkened sky with a bit of pink and blue still in the sky as star’s appeared in the sky… Such a beautiful sight for a sad yet happy ending.
Next thing he knew he was floating, thriving in a dark void as his soul floating, he closed his eyes again falling into a forever sleep as his soul would float through the void… Where all the dead went to be looked after by the Goddess of Death. He hadn’t expected to open his eyes and see his limbo to be a lovely garden… As he glanced around the lovely meadow watching the flower’s moving in a nonexistent breeze, the clouds moved slowly and the environment warm and cozy. Just at the bottom of the small hill the meadow was on it faded into nothing… Like it fades into the sky he also noticed the cherry tree in the middle. He walked over and sat down underneath it, he smiled as he leaned against the tree and watched the sky. He took note how the sun wasn’t moving like everything else; he didn’t care that it was obvious that he was in a limbo. He was just happy to finally be free to relax to survive in such a beautiful place that he didn’t think he should be in. He wasn’t going to complain though, but as he glanced around again at all the differently colored flowers.
He was floating again, he had closed his eyes for just a moment, why was it that when he opened his eyes, he wasn’t in his meadow anymore. He was in the void flooding again, in the darkness when suddenly he felt a pull and he passed out or well he felt like he passed out after the pull on his soul. He was unaware of his soul being pushed out into a new world, a new universe. The goddess of death was giving him a life to be happy with, a life that he can thrive in and not worry about people hunting him down or talking to people.
He gasped as he shot up sitting up straight, he glanced around a tad confused he was breathing again, no longer breathing fake air. He was feeling the grass under his hand, the soft breeze blowing in his face and ruffling his hair. He glanced around taking in the clearing he was in, there were flowers around him. What stood out as odd other than the fact he was apparently alive again was the fact there were pure black roses next to him, they looked dead and even dangerous. They were pure black, with dark green leaves and stems. The thorns looked sharper too... A wither rose! How could he not recognize his favorite flower? Not many would think of the wither rose as beautiful considering that it killed people with just a simple touch, and you were a goner.
Just a small touch of the rose and you slowly wither away till you're nothing but a pile of bones or even ash in some cases and a stain of black blood is all that’s left. The only sign that you died from the rose is the stains of blood surrounding the bones or the wither rose that blooms in the middle of the ashes. He huffed as he started to stand up, can’t daydream about a pretty flower all day, he already came to the conclusion he was in a forest clearing. The question now was why and how he was here? Last he had checked he had died, and more than hundred percent sure he was in a meadow on a hill with a lovely cherry blossom tree. Now he was in a flower covered clearing in a forest… A Dark Oak forest even. Fun he’s in a forest in a place he doesn’t know surrounded by very pretty flowers.
He sighed before he started to walk, he barely walked two feet before he saw a letter right next to a wither rose. A fourth one hidden within a bush of roses, he carefully grabbed the letter. He looked it over and read what was on it..
Dear, Remy A. Vedalia
We or well I have given you a second chance at life. Your soul was so pure and full of life that I couldn’t have just let the go now, could I?
I do hope you like where you woke up, I had tried to keep you away from people.
This world that I have thrown you in is full of magic, be wary of any magic you use or how you speak of it…
People in this timeline are not too keen on magic users yet.
Hope you enjoy the powers I’ve blessed you with!
The best of luck,
Lady Death
He stared at the note for a moment, re-reading it twice, thrice?? Powers, magic? What the hell was the only thing he could think of. The contents of the letter scattering through his brain as he thought it over. He didn’t want to deal with this, he was more than comfy in his limbo of flowers. Now he has to figure out powers and explore a news world while not looking like an idiot and not die. Great! So very great!! Fantastic even! Notice how happy he is… ‘Great, now I’m acting like I need to entertain people in my head… I’m already going crazy’ He thought as he let out a sigh before he paused on a random thought. Would someone be able to read his mind? Or shoot what if they can hear his thoughts!!
At some point he apparently dropped the letter, right onto a wither rose... He paused, staring at the wither rose... When he had moved to pick up the letter again, he pricked his finger right on a rose and when he panicked, he touched a black petal. Well, that suck’s he barely even was alive again and now he was going to wither away!
Can’t believe he touched a wither rose already…
