A Fresh Start

Fumikage is starting to think being kidnapped would be a normal thing from now on. What he would like to know, however, is how Kami-Kakashi managed to kidnapped him from his locked room and not wake up Dark Shadow the whole time.

Waking up in a familiar room was not how he planned his day. Fumikage has to wonder if Kakashi worships his father, the amount of Edgeshot merchandise is worrying.

'Is that a shrine?!'

Fumikage ignores the feeling of wanting to question Kakashi's mental health. If he wants to worship his father, Fumikage won't pry.

It took a while to get out of Kakashi's room. The amount of weapons in the room was unsettling, making Fumikage wonders where Kakashi even got a samurai armor.

Todo-Shouto was already downstairs, eating breakfast. Fumikage quickly joins him, grabbing the chopsticks.

"Maa, took you long enough."

Fumikage stiffened, turning to see Kakashi. It was strange to see the teen without his normal ninja clothes.

Instead, Kakashi was wearing a black jacket with dog ears on the hood and normal pants. Even if he was not wearing his usual outfit, Kakashi still wears the face mask.

"Maa, I was planning on us visiting Denki-kun today."

Fumikage nods, that would make sense. After all, Ka-Denki is also their friend. He eats more of his breakfast, wondering if Denki is even concious.

"Maa, tou-san agreed to drive us."

Fumikage stop chewing, realising that Edgeshot does not seem to be home. Then again, if the hero is anything like his son, he is probably around and Fumikage just did not notice.

Waking up and finding out that everything that had happened to him had been an illusion had been pretty mess up.

Katsuki can understand why Kamihara did that. Actions have consequences, he was just lucky his experiences had only been an illusion forced on him.

If Kamihara had not made his illusion so brutal, horrifying, and realistic, Katsuki would most likely never learn from it.

He would have been angry, demanding to make Kamihara pay. But he knows better now.

But he doesn't understand why people still refuse.

"What do you mean no?!" Katauki shriek before cringing. He is trying to be better but he still got angry so easily.

"I mean no, I won't accept your apology." Du-Kaminari said, voice weak and sluggish. Despite being almost completely healed by healing quirks, the blond is still too weak due to his energy having been spent to heal him.

Katsuki took a deep breath, reminding himself that getting angry is the reason why Kaminari in his illusion ended up in a coma.

"Why?" He said that word with gritted teeth, never having ask someone for their side before.

"There's nothing to apologize."

"What?"

"You did that to win. It was a competition, we were bound to get hurt."

"That reason is shit and you know it."

Kaminari flinched at his words. Katsuki glared at him, holding himself from trying to strangle the electric user.

"I almost fucking killed you! I slammed your shitty head on fucking concrete! Why won't you just fucking take my apology?! Why aren't you fucking mad at me?!"

"Because your apology won't matter if you don't prove you are actually sorry, Bakugou-kun."

Kakashi ignored the surprised look Bakugou has at realising that he and Denki are no longer alone. He walks toward Bakugou, not even flinching at the glare the teen gave him.

"You only ever have one goal, one you would do anything to achieve. You had been uncaring of the harm you caused because of it."

Kakashi remembers Sasuke, at all the pain he had caused thinking that only his goal matters.

"No one ever told you to stop. No one that you respect that is."

He remembers at how he, the boy's mentor, never tried to talked him out of his mentality. If he had tried sooner, talk earlier, would Sasuke had stayed in Konoha?

"Those that told you off, those who cared enough for you to try to get you to changed, you never listened. For you, they are weak, undeserving of your time."

He remembers Naruto and Sakura's attempts at trying to get Sasuke. He remembers how the Uchiha never listened, too wrapped up in his goal of revenge.

"You pushed them away. You treat them like dirt. You justify your actions with flimsy excuses. The end justifies the means if you will."

He remembers the arguments Naruto and Sasuke had before the latter turned rouge. How Naruto would try and try to befriend the Uchiha despite being looked down on. How the Uzumaki had only been tolerated by Sasuke, barely at that.

"In your mind, only the strong are worthy. Only they deserve to be standing next to you."

Was that why Sasuke chose Orochimaru? Because they weren't strong enough?

"But now you learned you are wrong, because I forced you to learn. If I had not casted the genjutsu, you would most likely not be here right now."

Kakashi is not going to make the same mistake, not again. If he can changed Bakugou, he would take it. That is why he took up the role of Red Eye, to change people for the better.

"I don't know how long you have acted like that, how many people you have harmed. You say you change? Then prove it."

He stared at Bakugou straight at his eyes. He pointed his finger at the blond, noticing the shocked look Bakugou has.

"You want to know why Denki-kun did not accept it? It is because you haven't proven this change is real, permanent and not just something you are doing out of the shock the genjutsu gave you."

He can feel Bakugou shaking, noticed how the teen holds back tears. Kakashi is done playing the fool, pretending not to care. If he has to forcefully shove the cold, hard truth, then he would.

"Prove you change. Be a better Bakugou, a better hero. Prove you deserve to be forgiven. Once you have done that, then apologize."

Bakugou nod at him, tears freely slipping down his face. He wipes his tears harshly, before walking out of the hospital room.

Everyone stared at Kakashi, the silence hanging heavy. Is this what it feels like to give his own version of talk no jutsu? It was Denki who broke the silence.

"Damn."
