Chapter 14
You were woken by a stinging light that forced its way through your closed eyelids.
You scrunch your face, forcefully shutting your eyes.
You tried turning your head in different directions trying to avoid the piercing light.
It didn’t help.
You couldn’t open your eyes to check either.
You were surrounded by light.
You hated light these days.
It seemed to hurt every time you fell unconscious.
“Are you finally awake?” You hear someone say.
The lights were suddenly turned off.
You slowly opened your eyes, finding a shadowy figure standing in front of you.
You let your eyes explore the room without turning your head. There were at least six camera lights surrounding you. The curtains were closed, the only source of light was moonlight that shone through small cracks of the curtains, and what seemed to be an opened computer behind the shadowy figure.
“I’m Toru Oikawa. No need to introduce yourself, I already know who you are.” The figure said, leaning in close to your face.
The sentence and movement from Oikawa triggered your ‘be aware’ button.
You straightened your back and your eyes widened in fear.
You found yourself strapped to a chair with your legs and arms tied to both legs and arm rests of the chair.
You wanted to scream and yell for help, but a tape on your mouth prevented you from doing so.
You twisted and turned, trying to get out.
“I’ll wait ‘till you're done.” You heard Oikawa say.
After about two minutes of struggling, you gave up. You lowered your head in defeat.
“You done?”
You looked up at the shadowy figure in tears.
“Aww, no need to look at me like that. Things are only going to get better from here – as long as you behave. So no need to worry.” You heard Oikawa say.
Oikawa has been one of your favorite characters in Haikyuu. But seeing him like all the other characters changed your positive opinion of him.
You started struggling again, letting tears fall freely down your cheeks.
You heard Oikawa sigh as he took a step back.
“I’ll wait,” He said.
You ignored him, and continued to twist and turn.
It hurt.
The thick layers of tape refused to let you move.
The tape was tight around your arms and legs. They could’ve exploded if it were any tighter.
After minutes of struggling, sweat started to form on your skin.
Normally, you would think this would be disgusting, but you noticed the tape loosening.
Oikawa must have caught the slight change in the tape. Instantly, he came forth, both his hands grabbed onto both your arms, pushing it down to prevent you from moving any longer. One foot was on the floor, while the other leg was placed in between your legs.
His dreadful physique loomed above you.
“It seems I have overestimated the use of this tape.” He said.
He had caught you.
“I’m running out of patience. Please cooperate with me.” You hear him say.
‘Soranagi!’ You screamed in your head.
‘Where are you?!’ You yelled in your head.
When no image of Soranagi appeared in your head, you internally screamed.
‘SORANAGI!!!’ You thought as you shut your eyes closed, blocking the sight of the monster above you.
Suddenly, the image you were waiting for appeared in your head. It could’ve been just you imagining and picturing things. But you weren’t going to let the opportunity slide.
‘Look, I don’t know if you’re just an image in my head, or if you are really there listening to me, but in case you’re there, you have to get me out of here! I’m in serious danger! Hurry up and teleport me to safety!’
Suddenly, the sound of his snap echoed in your head.
You fell unconscious again.
***U-U***
“Oh!” You hear someone say.
You pretended to be asleep.
You didn’t want to wake up.
You didn’t want to know who was there.
“Woowwww…” Another voice said.
You felt a hand grabbing your arm.
You were tempted to open your eyes to see what was going on, but you didn’t want to risk being caught awake.
As if you were a feather, the person who was grabbing your arm swung you over their shoulders.
You tried your hardest not to resist.
The position you were in was extremely uncomfortable. You’ve never been held in the position by any other characters (not that you know of).
“Imma go take her to the hospital, you guys stay here.”
“No, I’m coming with you.”
“You idiot! What about me?!”
“It is not the time to be arguing! You guys stay here.”
“Oh, okay then.”
“You brats! She’s already awake! How can you not tell?”
“No she’s not! Look at her! She's still out cold!” You hear someone say.
“Sukuna, I didn’t know you would be interested in these kinds of things.”
‘Sukuna?! What is this, Jujutsu Kaisen?!’ You thought.
“Yo! What’s with the ruckus?” Another voice chimed in.
“Ooooooo! Is that your girlfriend, Megumi?!”
“What?!” Both you and Megumi said.
“WHAAATTT?!” Itadori and Nobara said in sync.
You looked at the two.
“I told you she was awake.” A mouth appeared on Itadori’s face.
Your face grew red as a tomato as you realized what you had done.
You were still over Megumi’s shoulders, and you blew your cover.
So much for trying to pretend.
“Uh, y-you can put me d-down now.” You stuttered.
“Uh, y-yea.” Megumi said as he gently let you down.
You glanced at him and saw that his face was about just as red as your’s.
“No way, are you two really dating?” Itadori asked.
“NO!” Both you and Megumi shouted. You two quickly glanced at each other, but then turned away again, you felt even more heat rising to your face, you were close to exploding.
“Awww! This is adorable. Hey, Megumi, mind telling me how old she is?” You turned your head to see Gojo.
You froze.
“Huh?! Since when did you care about that stuff?” Nobara asked.
“What are you talking about? I have to make sure she’s appropriate for my lovely student!”
“Gojo sensei, you’re being weird.” Itadori stated.
“What’s wrong with me asking for Megumi’s girlfriend’s age?”
“You see, Gojo sensei, usually when people, specifically significantly older than a person, ask for the age of someone who’s already taken, it…it…it's just creepy.”
“Creepy how?” Itadori asked.
“What?! I thought you knew!”
“When did I say that?”
“You said Gojo sensei is being weird!”
“Yeah, but I never said, ‘Gojo Sensei is creepy because he’s asking someone their age!’’’
“But I thought that was exactly what you were referring to!”
“Well, it's not!”
“You know what? This is pointless. I can’t handle your empty brain. It’s fine, it’s not like Gojo is going to try anything.”
“Uhhh, speaking of which, where is she?” Itadori asked
“Hmm?”
Nobara turned to find that Megumi was standing alone, looking dreamily into space. She also noticed that you and Gojo disappeared.
You were long gone. In fact, it was right after you saw Gojo, you ran away. It seemed that people like him– with similar personalities and all, got turned into creeps. Especially since Oikawa and Kuroo have playful manners, just like Gojo, but they all ended up acting weird. You were assuming the same will happen to Gojo.
Nah, almost everyone ends up like a monster. Megumi was probably gonna act up soon as well.
Maybe Itadori as well? Or maybe not?
Daichi and Suga, who you thought were innocent, became demons. But somehow Hinata acted the same as you would see him on screen.
What about Nobara?
She was the second female character you’ve run into, so you weren’t sure if she would act up like all the other male characters.
The first female character you ran into was Nami, she seemed to be fine, well, maybe a little angier than usual, but it wasn’t her fault. You suddenly appeared from nowhere onto their ship. It's like finding a robber in your house.
She wasn’t the one to take the blame for getting mad.
Nobara seemed to act like her usual self. Well, you couldn’t be sure yet. You had to confirm that she was acting like her usual self.
You weren’t sure how to escape this world that Soranagi has trapped you in, but you had to find a way out. There’s always a solution to every problem. Maybe gathering the character’s unusual behaviors could be a clue to the key in order to get out.
You ran straight forward. Not caring if your feet hurt, or that you were out of breath.
These people were cray-zee. You’ve been hit by a ball, forced into a house, been fought over, kicked off from a ship, had to stay one night at an super uncomfortable and fishy-looking island, taken away from your family and friends, what else could happen?
Apparently anything can happen at this point! So expect things to go bad every single time you meet someone here in this so-called ‘anime world!’
“Hey!~” A floating figure appeared in front of you causing you to stop.
“AHH!” You screamed out of panic.
“Ah, sorry, did I startle you? I promise I didn't mean to~” Gojo said, landing on the floor.
Since you haven’t read or watched much of Jujutsu Kaisen, you had only little knowledge of Gojo’s abilities. Seeing him floating was shocking.
“Why were you running away?” Gojo asked.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?” You pretended.
“Ah, you can call me Gojo sensei.” He said.
“But…you’re not my teacher?” You replied, confused.
“Oh, I mean, you can just call me Gojo.”
“Oh, I see, what do you want?”
“Gosh, why so harsh?~” He said.
“Uhm, if its nothing, I really need to go–”
“What’s your name?”
“Y/n.”
“What’s your age?”
“I don’t know.” You lied.
“What? How could you not know?”
“Oh, uh, I- I don’t celebrate birthdays.” You lied.
“Oh,”
“When’s your birthday?”
“Uhhh…well…I don’t think I’m supposed to be giving strangers information this freely,” you answered.
“Oh, but you’re Megumi’s girlfriend?~”
“Uh, no. We just met a couple minutes ago. And if even if I was Megumi’s girlfriend, what does that have to do with my birthday?”
“Because he’s my precious student. I would like to know everything about his girlfriend to see if she is suitable for him.”
‘Gosh, that’s creepy.’
“Ah, well, I think you have the wrong person! Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go somewhere…” You said as you forced a smile.
“Where are you headed?”
‘I swear, this man never stops asking creep questions.’ You thought.
“Ah, nowhere in particular…”
“Then why do you seem to be in such a hurry?”
“Oh, was I?”
“If you aren’t in a hurry, why don’t we sit down and talk?”
“Ah, well, actually, I need to go back to my house. I have things to take care of.” You lied.
“But you just said you weren’t in a hurry?”
“Well, maybe I lied! I have to use the restroom! Any idea how long I had to hold it in?” You blurted out.
You weren’t lying on that one. You realized you were really hungry too. You haven’t eaten in days, probably weeks… which made you wonder how you had the energy to run.
Soon after you answered, without giving you a chance to refuse, Gojo picked you up bridal style, and you were suddenly warped into a Japanese-like house.
“Walk down that hallway, and enter the restroom in the fourth room.” Gojo said as he let you down.
“Wha-What just happened?” You asked in disbelief.
“That's why I suggested we get to know more about each other!~ See, I have so much amazing stuff up my sleeve, I promise you won’t be disappointed if you know more about me!~”
‘Just as I thought, this man is seriously creepy.’ You thought.
Although you had your negative opinions of Gojo, you still couldn’t refuse his good looks.
“I’m all good, thanks,” You laughed it off.
You followed Gojo’s directions, and entered the bathroom.
You gasped.
There were expensive looking lamps and candles all over the room. A large window with white curtains was placed right from the entrance. A huge bathtub was placed in front of the window. A shower was placed to the left from the entrance, and to its left, there was a toilet. On the furthest side of the room were white counters and cabinets that were made of marble with golden-colored knobs. A huge mirror was placed on the wall between the cabinets and counters. The ceiling was carved in precise detail of different kinds of flowers. What-seemed-to-be diamonds hung from the ceiling as decoration, and the floor was made of marble.
What was this, the bathroom of a mansion?
Either way, you wanted to go use the restroom badly, so there you were.
After you were done using the restroom, you headed out, and saw Gojo leaning on the door across from the restroom reading a book in Japanese.
“Uh, Gojo, I’ll be going now, thanks for letting me use your restroom.”
“But you don’t have anywhere to go, do you?” He said, looking up from his book.
Everything went cold.
“Haha! How could you say that? Of course I have somewhere to go! My parents are probably really worried about me, so please try to understand. I need to go,”
“Alright then, let me take you home.”
