"Kakashi-Sensei!," He hears their anguish screams, his students voices full of despair.

"Bakashi!," Obito screams, trying to move towards him, his body trembling against fighting gravity that continuesly pull all of them down.

Kakashi crouches there, feeling his body strain and his lone red eye glaring. The chakra rod was heading fast straight his way, sent by Kaguya.

He can't move and thus he can't dodge it. Getting hit by it would surely kill him, would finally end him.

That's alright though, whether he's there or not, he's sure that his students would defeat this goddess with Obito's help.

He was ready and resigned that he wouldn't get out of this alive, has already accepted the fact that he would die.

Kakashi doesn't expect that tug on his body however. Doesn't expect to meet Kaguya's rinnegan eye with his own mangekyou, doesn't expect the familiar pull of kamui with Obito's chakra. He couldn't see Sasuke but he certainly felt the younger Uchiha's rinnegan ability take a hold of him.

He feels a tear in his being, like a rubber snapping as the chakra rod pierces him.

He looks on bewilderment as he doesn't immediately crumble away, even with rod in his body sapping his chakra away and digging deeper in him. It suddenly reverses, like a time reversed and instead of sucking his chakra away, it absorbs others and pumps him full instead.

His student and former team mate looks at him with something like hope and astonishment as he continues to crouch there with a rod through his heart, his white chakra pulsing wildly as it mixes with the foreign chakra in his body.

Then his vision glitches, his body twitching as his body painfully rips apart.

After that, he knew no more.

Pain.

That was all he knew.

His body ached, his muscles sore, his reserves low.

He ran hot, body trembling and despite his temperature, he was cold. Kneedles prickle his skin as sweat bead down his forehead and entire body, soaking whatever he wore.

Kakashi is reminded when he'd been accidentally pricked with the poison Anko was using. He felt sick. His head throbbed and his lungs heaved, his breath coming out short as his fever continuesly rise.

It was something that he never wanted to experience again and now he's experiencing it again.

How funny.

He groans, throat tight and dry. He feels numb, a buzzing feeling to his toes and fingers, like lightning had struck him. He couldn't move them and through the haze in his mind, the Shinobi part of him panics.

It's overwritten by the exhaustion he felt however, liked he'd taken Naruto's full on rasengan and been electrocuted with Sasuke's raikiri repeatedly, then got punched by Sakura into a mountain with no mercy.

Everything hurt and blurred and Kakashi doesn't want to wake up when consciousness is like this. He'd like to return to sleeps blissful and painless embrace thank you very much.

Fortunately for him, he goes back to it almost immediately when cold water trickles down his throat, soothing it with a muffled voice near him.

He doesn't wake up until 3 days later.

He wakes up in a hospital, eyes wide with vigilance and awareness. His body aches but its considerably better.

He wakes up in a white room with IV in the crook of his elbow, one that he did not recognised.

Kakashi was a Shinobi, born and bred and he knows that when he finds himself in a unfamiliar territory, he plays harmless and gather as much information he could.

A nurse, male and thank kami for that since he didn't have his mask on, had immediately called the doctor at the sight of him awake.

He asks for a mask with a hoarse throat, the slightly bewildered nurse complying immediately at the sight of his fanged 'harmless' smile.

His chakra, low and his coils burned, bursts into a 'Kai', attempting to disrupt the genjutsu around him.

Nothing changes and he's still in his hospital garb inside a hospital he does not recognise.

The doctors and nurse rush in and Kakashi's world is turned upside down.

He was apparently unconscious for nearly a month, his body suffering through many injuries that the doctors and nurses are surprised he's even alive.

He doesn't recognise the foreign places and name they mention, unknown just like how their language was. The accent different, the words a bit different.

He tells them that, that he doesn't remember anything even if he kinda does. He theorise that he found himself in a different dimension, away from his own home and an unknown to this world.

The doctors and nurses doesn't have to know that.

A few examinations later, he's deemed as amnesiac, a couple of his memories missing.

They were fussing over him, especially the females which made him irritated a bit, since he knew that even civilian nurses and doctors would know how to act towards a Shinobi.

Clearly they had never dealt with a case like him before, if their reactions are anything to go by. Some of them were looking cutesy, subtly flashing 'cute' smiles his way as they thoroughly check him.

Kakashi's struck when they say that he was 26 again, the perfect age of marrying and having kids, or according to their estimation. A quick check with his reserves tells him that it was burned, likely from whatever happened to him, his chakra low but that could be change. His body was skinnier and leaner but no less more healthy, some of his scars gone are gone though and Kakashi doesn't know if he liked it or not.

"Miss?," He smiles politely at the nurse who's checking his vitals, when everyone finally leaves after being satisfied with the half ass answers he gave, "Who exactly found me?".

He was found by the river, they'd said. Near Tama river by a family, a place he doesn't recognised. Their identities were never specified but he can tell that no one was really hiding it.

"Oh! Uhmm..," The nurse blushed, flustered even with his covered face, silver hair and his features were apparently not common here, "Its Mrs. Yoshino and her son, we've already called her to notify her of you waking up, we figured that you'd like to meet and thank her".

"Maa, thank you nurse-Chan," He eye smiles, making the teen go red beet before making a half assed excuse the practically rushing out of the door.

Kakashi stares at the closed door, signing quietly and wondering what fucking bullshit he found himself in again.

His main priority was finding where he was and finding a way to get home, home to his students, to his pack, though he most likely knew how this would end up.

Life liked to fuck him up like that.

Later that night, when he's laying down in his frankly comfortable hospital bed, eyes closed and relaxed, checking his reserves and his body, he remembers something.

He snaps his eyes wide open and sits up, his left hand coming up to touch his left eye.

There was no chakra drain anymore, the vision of both his eyes balanced. There was no dystinct ache in his eye socket, no sharpened vision.

Obito's eye was gone. Or at least he thought it was.

He feels the familiar tug of sharingan in both his eye, suppressed and off. It was there buzzing and ready to be used.

With no prompt, he pushes chakra to the coils around his eyes, feeling the familiar sensation of sharingan spinning.

Everything sharpens and clears, the brightness of his room amplified. He rushes to the bathroom of his room uncaring for his screaming body, eyes widening even more when he meets his reflections eyes.

Two fully matured sharingan stares back at him, three black tomoe in the sea of red. Another rush of chakra reveals a pair of mangekyou, the pinwheel lazily spinning in his eyes.

Kakashi doesn't know, it may be the light or reflection but his eyes were.. Brighter or glowing.

Like fresh blood on a sunny day, crimson and bright. The pinwheel was darker, ink black and stands out against the see of red.

He stares at his reflection with bewilderment, wondering what the fuck was going on.
