Summary
Tobirama Senju did not get sick. He got injured, sure, infected wounds too- but never sick. At least, not since he was around twelve years old. So, when he woke up with a splitting headache he promptly ignored it and went right back to work.In other words, a sick Tobirama getting taken care of by who he is very convinced is an angel. This'll contain short drabbles of their interactions.
Note
You'll notice that this gets very OOC, but I'm just taking advantage of the fact that this is fanfiction and thus, not necessarily cannon applicant. So, take the fluff and shush (please?) >:D

Compliments (facts)

When he woke up again he was actually feeling pretty good. Well, not pretty good, more like better because he was still very much sick. Good enough to sit, that's for sure.

(But not stand, a snarky part of him replied in relation to what had happened with Hashirama earlier. He wondered why his memory was willing to cooperate with his idiotic Anija, but not Tenshi?)

Speaking of Tenshi...

He had just entered the room, freezing when he saw Tobirama sitting up. To say that the fact his first reaction was to immediately go to his side after that and make sure he would be fine to do that didn't warm Tobirama's heart would be a lie.

One hand was gently placed on his forehead, another checking his pulse, just in case. Tobirama just sat there, utterly dazed (lovestruck) with a small smile on his face while letting the concerned Tenshi do his thing.

"I love you."

"WHAT-"

Tobirama beamed, reaching out one of his hands to place it on Tenshi's very red cheeks.

"Adorable."

Indignant squawks filled the room, Tenshi immediately retreating his hands and slapping away Tobirama's as he shuffled back in a light panic.

"I AM NOT!"

Tobirama's beaming simply got brighter. How cute. The adorable tomato was trying to deny it's own very obvious adorablness!

A light laugh broke through, Tobirama leaning back on his hands slightly with a tilted head and very cheeky smile.

"Pretty, then?"

"No."

"Beautiful?"

More indignant squawks. Tobirama took that as a no.

"Mesmerizing? Charming? Ooohhhh, maybe compassionate or confident or gorgeous or hot or-"

"What."

"-kind or lovable or perfect-"

"I-"

"-or phenomenal or precious. Very very precious. Ah, radiant too! Like a shining sun. Yes, that sounds about right. Let's throw a regal in there, too, when you're not busy being adorable."

"Stop."

"Sexy as well. Sweet too, even if you don't seem like you like admitting to it. You're existence is a thing too good to be contained within words. Just like now, you look so tantalizing I might just swallow you whole."

And Tobirama really was tempted too. Really really tempted to.

"Please stop."

Tenshi's voice was so quiet Tobirama had actual trouble hearing him, an embarrassed keen following the begging.

(The begging made him uncomfortable. Something unusual, his mind was whispering.)

He no longer looked like a tomato, instead ascending to new shades of red that Tobirama hadn't seen before. Or at least, he thinks so. He certainly felt so.

He stretched a hand out, body quickly following in a way that'd let him stay on the ground.

(Aka, he was crawling. Very silently, somehow.)

Tenshi seemed to be too embarrassed to notice whatever little noise he was making, busy trying to calm down. And make that pretty blush go away? Now, Tobirama couldn't allow that.

Tenshi finally noticed his presence when he was barely a few inches away from him, looking actually startled for him to suddenly be that close to him.

Tobirama took the opportunity for what it was, stretching out his hand to gently rest on his cheek, other hand soon following.

(He refrained from saying he looked like a trembling rabbit like this. He hardly thought that'd be well received.)

He made sure to keep looking right into his eyes.

Tenshi's breath had hitched the closer he came to him, breath held in anticipation. When their faces were barely an inch apart, the ravenette shut his eyes, hands clenched, but not pulling away.

Tobirama would love to give him what he thought he would get, but it was too tempting, really. He lay his forehead on Tenshi's, another cheeky smile spread on his face.

He kept waiting till his caretaker opened his eyes, evidently confused, before saying anything.

The sight and word spoken to him was apparently too much for his poor heart, added on top of what happened earlier.

"Pretty."

"Tenshi?"

A beat. Two.

"Tenshi?"

"I came to visit again, aaaaand what happened in here-"

Tobirama glanced down at the sleeping beauty that he had laid in his futon, he himself taking the floor.

"I think I broke him."

"What???"

His poor Anija had never looked so confused in his whole, pitiful, life.
