This is cat,astrophic
“I’m in place,” I whisper into my earpiece, looking past the side of the fence,
And up at the tree that’s housing the cat my teams currently after
Our first mission was rescuing a cat,
I already knew this of course, but I had forgot.
I grimaced and wipe the sweat off my face,
god it’s been hours and we have yet to finish this,
”GUYS! I got a clear chance!” I flinch as Naruto yells into the earpiece, Quickly yanking it out it out as my ears started to ring,
”Naruto!” Sakura yelped,
I turn it off at that, and focus back on the tree, as the target has yet to move, i inch closer intel I was under the tree,
The cat looks down on me with a unimpressed look on there face,
I look right back at them with the same look, and put my hands up for them to jump down,
They do just that, and ended up landing into my arms
I didn’t expect that to actually work,
I smile and give them a pet,
before the massacre, the clan actually had a lot of wild cats that lived there, but after they never showed up again,
“TEME! YOU GOT THEM!!” I voice screeches startling both me and the cat,
the cat ended up scratching me making me yelp and drop them,
they ran away again, as I grabbed my arm that was now bleeding, hissing at the pain
It didn’t even hurt that much?, why did I react like it did?
“You o- ahh!?! You’re bleeding!! Sakura help!” Naruto freaked out, and grabbed my arm putting pressure on the wound,
Sakura soon came with some bandages, and started to put them on, I
”Sasuke-kun are you ok?” Sakura questioned as she finished the bandages, i grimace at the touch
“Yeah, it was manly the surprise of it….” I mumbled, pulling at the new bandage, once she finished
great.. I now have a matching wound for my head,
i sigh at the thought, my hand automatically reaching to feel the now scabbed over wound that is on my head,
“Well now what?” Naruto asked rubbing his head, a solemn expression on his face,
“I guess we failed the mission…” Sakura winced, a sad look on her face
looking at there sad faces I groaned,
Is there a chance the sharingan would work on a animal?
“I’ll explain to Kakashi”

“You failed?” Kakashi repeats looking down at all three of us, a brief look of confusion on his face,
We stood in the middle of the training ground, currently explaining the mission,
“It was my fault” I state looking at the ground, finding my palm and sinking my nails into it, but not hard enough to draw blood,
I might as well take the blame, no use for them to get into trouble-
“You’re not in trouble, failed missions happen all the time in the beginning,” Kakashi sighed
He never was this nice as a teacher before? right….
“Anyway, how about my cute little genin take a break for today,” Sensei gives us a closed eye smile,
as soon as he says that Naruto cheered, and Sakura looked positively more happy then earlier,
But…. The land of waves mission is soon,….
a hand lands on my shoulder making me flinch out of my thoughts,
looking up i was met with Kakashi’s almost worried stare, I gave him a confused look,
”Sakura and Naruto were asking if you wanted to go get ramen?” Kakashi explained his hand leaving my shoulder,
”I have to arrons to run,” I muttered, not bothering to turn around as I walk away,

As I walk down the road of the village, today’s events kept reappearing in my head,
God… if we failed this mission how are we going to win the war?…
”Excuse me, Uchiha-San?” I voice called from behind me, my blood ran cold, all my thoughts stopped,
I turn around to come face to face with
“Lord-Danzo” i spat, he had walked over to me, making me shake with rage, said man looking shocked at the venomous tone
Get you’re emotions in check, you can’t kill him yet,….
“Sorry I’ve just had a rough day,…” I muttered having to force the words out, them feeling like sand paper to say,
“Oh it’s quite alright, just make sure to watch who you’re talking to in the future,” he states threat clear as day in his words,
I bite back a sarcastic remark and just nod, as I can practically feel root agent’s breathing on the back of my neck
“Now then, would you follow me?,”Danzo asked though it sounded more like a demand,
“Why?”I questioned taking a step back getting ready to bolt if needed,
Danzo seemingly noticed this grabbed my already hurt arm to stop me,
I flinch at the touch and try to move further away but only end up almost falling, a tingling pain flaring up my arm,
what the fuck! I g- I got to g-get out o-of here!
“Now… I have a proposal”

As I sit here in Danzo‘s office a so called Anbu standing behind me,
I look ahead keeping eye contact with the man in front of me, who was currently going through files, and other papers,
“How would you like to join my Anbu?” Danzo inquired, sitting down the file he was reading
“aren't I too young?” I question, trying to find a way out of the dangerous situation I was in,
”we can make exceptions for Certain people”
What could I have done to get his attention?,
“Can I thank about it?” I ask clearing my throat,
“You can but you have to decide by the chunin exams, oh and they can escort you out” Danzo states motioning to the root member that was behind me,
i grimaced at his response, and stand up ready to leave, the black hair root agent lead me though the halls
we passed multiple doors before arriving at the exit, I look up at what I dubbed ‘root.1, the only thing I could see was the black hair,
”do you have a name?” I question only to get no response, I sigh and leave
Ready to arrive at what one could only call a ghost town

When does the line of good and evil become too blurred?,
It’s not a new thought, but it’s one I’ve asked myself far to many times,

I clinch my teeth as shivers climb up my body, along with rage,
I have to re gain my strength, i grimaced, all of my hard work, gone,
I dragged my body until I was standing, and started to make my way out the compound,
The walls and floors caked with blood, becoming to much,

the village at night was less crowded then at day, But The red light district becoming more crowded,
I grimace, holding my head low as I walked though the streets,
the only reason I’m here is to find Akira,
I side steeped a couple kissing
Only to bump into someone knocking me over, I flinch and look up to be met with-
“Kakashi!?” I shouted, gaining a few weird looks from strangers,
Kakashi gave me a wide eyed look, soon after falling into a hard stare,
Sensei sighed, giving me a look before putting a hand on my shoulder and leading me Away,
What the fuck is he doing here?,
When we are out of the red light district and on the normal path he finally stops,
the hand never leaving my shoulder, Kakashi moves me to sit on a bench before sitting beside me, finally does he let me go,
”Sasuke,.. what were you doing there,” he demanded looking down at me, a look I can’t quite decipher in his eyes,

“I have a friend that lives there,” I say without thanking, giving him my best puppy eyes,

Sensei let out a low sigh, ”….and are they a adult?”

“Why are you questioning me?” I snapped digging my nails into my palm, anxiety flowing down my being
Kakashi inspected me, before rubbing his neck, a dark look flashing in his eyes
”ma.. Sasuke just answer,”
“Fine! So what if they are?” I argued, glaring up at him
Why is he so fixated on this?
”and they haven’t um… touched you or made you uncomfortable have they?” Kakashi questioned, looking me straight in the eyes not even blinking
My eyes widened as I give him a bewildered look,

”w-what!” I choked,
”sasuke,” Kakashi gritted out,
“N-no, why do you think that!?” I exclaimed, feeling my hart speed up,
“Not a lot of adults would be friends with a kid, not with good intentions anyway,” Kakashi Said, giving me a sideways look, before standing up,
I guess that’s true…. God… I didn’t thank about the fact i look like a kid,…
”-now how about we go get some sleep after all we have missions tomorrow?” Kakashi smiled like nothing was wrong, motioning me to follow
I stand up ready to do just that, as we walk to the Uchiha compound, I question if I should tell Kakashi of Danzo, I decided that I will later
