Love Hurts
"Yukino Hatake was a beautiful woman, the daughter of the leader of the Hatake clan. She had a striking figure and a strong personality, with her long, gray hair earning her the name 'Gray Demon' among her enemies.
She lived happily with her clan until a war broke out between her clan and the Senju clan. To establish peace, a deal was made between the clans: a contractual marriage between the leaders' children. Yukino was initially against it, but when she saw Butsuma Senju for the first time, she fell completely in love.
That was her biggest mistake.

The marriage proceeded as planned. The wedding was beautiful and vibrant, and at the end of the celebration, she was to have her first night with her beloved. She prepared herself meticulously and sat on the bed, awaiting Butsuma's arrival.
She waited four hours for her new husband to come to their room.
Her heart pounded, and her cheeks flushed, but when she tried to speak, she was silenced by her beloved's voice.
'Do not think that just because I married you, I will love you. Do not expect anything from this damn marriage. I already love another woman, and she is carrying my firstborn. I plan to take her as my second wife later, so do not hope for a false love,' Butsuma spoke harshly and then left.
Now she understood the pitying glances from some of the Senju.
She was never the first choice.

After three years, she realized she would never be accepted by the Senju clan. She was treated with coldness and mockery, and despite being the official wife, she was treated as a mere concubine, while the second wife, Azumi, was treated as the first lady of the house, and her son Hashirama, as the clan's heir.
Throughout these three years, her love for Butsuma had not diminished, and she still longed for his touch and affection.
Another grave mistake.

He learned not to follow the instructions of chakra masters who only sought to harm his inner pathways.
He learned by himself and discovered he was a genius.
He learned that his senses were sharper and that he could feel people's emotions and chakra.
He avoided using this ability within the clan because he hated the feeling of disgust or hatred.
He learned not to trust anyone.
People always betrayed him.
He learned not to ask his parents for birthday gifts.
The lashes hurt.
He learned not to crave people's love.
He was unworthy.
At an early age, he learned many things, but the most important was that he should be loyal to his older brother.
And so he was.
He had no motivation in life.
Until his younger brothers were born.
Kawarama and Itama.
They had different mothers but were born on the same day.
So small and fragile.
So loved.
He took care of them and loved them.
And when the winter plague came, it took the lives of dozens of Senju, including Butsuma's wives (never his mother or first mother).
He raised them while Butsuma was consumed by war. He loved them like no one had ever loved him.
He raised them.
He loved to immerse himself in their chakras to feel their warmth and love.
He loved them more than anyone.
But he lost them.
And in the end, Tobirama Senju lost himself to the pain."
