"oh I see that's pretty smart, how will we attack?" she asks mentally preparing herself to fight once again 'I don't like fighting but in this situation I have no choice' she thinks
"most attacks will be useless except a powerful blow that can break the puppet"
"I have a attack that may work but getting in front of him might be hard"

The two konoichi start whispering Making sasori who was far from them to wonder what the two were saying 'still far away I need them closer' he thinks observing the chatting duo
Finally ready to start their battle, Chiyo and fuu rush at Sasori/Hiruko. Sasori uses Prepared Puppet: Eight Waves of Needles which causes poison-laced senbon to rapidly fire out of Hiruko's mouth.
Both Chiyo and fuu are able to dodge every single senbon. Sasori resorts to releasing Hiruko's arm and launching it as a projectile, which releases even more poison-laced senbon. Once more, Chiyo and fuu are able to avoid every single one of them, to Sasori's disbelief.
"while I understand how the old bat is able to dodge, why is the Jinchūriki also easily dodging my attacks? She might have the tailed beast but her combat skills are not even higher than that of a chunin" he mumbles but then remembers that chiyo was also a puppeteer "she's helping her evade and move with Chakra threads huh"
While Chiyo stands idly, fuu sees that sasori is distracted and rushes towards Hiruko. Sasori attempts to jab her using Hiruko's poison-tipped tail but his attack is blocked by Chiyo, leaving Hiruko vulnerable. Using chomei's enhanced Chakra, fuu lands a massive blow on Hiruko, destroying the human puppet. Sasori manages to get out of the rubble, but keeps his face covered
"show yourself sasori, I want to see my rebellious grandson who has been gone for 20 years"
'what grandson!?, he was a sand nin?' fuu watches with confusion as the rogue nin turns around looking around her age 'he has been a rogue ninja for 20 years so why does he look like a teenager?, it makes no sense'
"what have you done sasori" chiyo asks looking at her grandson sadly
"I have discarded my humanity to be perfect, this is art of highest order" he flexs his body "I don't have the limitations you humans have I'm perfect, I've become a puppet as a puppeteer"
"being a flawed human is the best nothing can beat the emotions that make us unique whether they are positive or negative, so I can't understand why you would discard them, I'll prove to you that being human is better after I defeat you" fuu points a finger at the now human puppet
"try me" he says before unleashing a new puppet that happens to be the third Kazekage
"IMPOSSIBLE THAT'S THE THIRD KAZEKAGE!?"
"yes I was the one who tricked and killed him" sasori reveals causing even more shock to overtake chiyo "sasori wh-"
"shut it and fight" sasori states and uses the Third Kazekage puppet to launch more poison senbon towards fuu
Chiyo manages to have fuu evade the attack successfully. Using the Third Kazekage's poison blades, Sasori tries to stab fuu, but the attack is blocked by Hiruko's tail, which Chiyo controls with her chakra threads. However, the blades are powerful enough to break Hiruko's already powerful tail.
Having no other method to protect fuu , Chiyo is unable to block Sasori's puppets Thousand Hands Manipulation Force but she doesn't have to as fuu Flys over the attack that releases thousands of hands. She lands a downward kick on the puppet creating a few cracks on it
Thinking fast Sasori counters by releasing poison gas from the kazekage puppet, knowing that despite Chiyo controlling fuu and her flight capabilities she won't be able to move away fast enough. To sasoris disappointment and chiyos relief fuu releases a gust of wind from her wings escape the poison before inhaling any of it
"defeating a tailed beast Jinchūriki might be tricky but this puppet should be capable of that"
"I'm going to defeat you and show you that being human is better"
"childish views, what you want to prove doesn't matter this is only a job and you are one of my targets"
"I am?" the clueless girl asks scratching her head at the information "his part of a group that hunts Jinchūrikis like you honey, but ingore him and focus and watch every movement, doing that is especially important against puppeteers" chiyo informs before unleashing two puppets to block a barrage of kunai from the puppets
"mother and father puppets? I created them I know there ins and outs you can't defeat me with them"
Chiyo has the Mother and Father puppets pull out wire string and have them charge at Sasori. The puppets manage to slice through the Third Kazekage thousand hands technique. Sasori detaches the left arm of the puppet before Chiyo's could slice through it. The left arm is revealed to have a buzzsaw, but the Mother and Father puppets have hidden weapons of their own. After going through an intense puppet battle, Chiyo manages to destroy the buzzsaw while Sasori destroys the Mother's sword and the Father's club
Sasori activates the puppets true strength the iron sand that floated around the third Kazekage
"like I thought the puppet has retained its ablilties" chiyo mutters to herself focusing intensely on iron sand
Sasori unleashes the Third's Iron Sand Drizzle that is similar to a gunshot-like attack which uses the Iron Sand hardened into minuscule pieces to attack simultaneously across a vast range
Chiyo blocks using the "Mother" and "Father" puppets' chakra shield that she had installed. While the Father puppet used the chakra shield to block the Iron Sand, the Mother puppet simply pushed fuu out of the way. However, the Iron Sand creeps into the Father puppet's joints, rendering it useless. Since there is only one puppet left worry clouds the old fighters face
"with one puppet useless It seems like you can either defend yourself or the Jinchūriki, what will you do?" sasori asks
He executes the technique again, chiyo sends the puppet to defend fuu but the girl kicks the puppet back to her and uses her wings to blows away iron sand grains close to her and lunches at the kazekage doll that jumps away from her and back to it's user
"aww man I almost got him"
"fuu run away dear I no longer have any puppets and sasori isn't even damaged please leave and I'll hold him off"
"WHAT NOOO!, I'M NOT LEAVING GRANNY IF YOU NEED A PUPPET THAN USE ME!" fuu yells gaining a smile from chiyo "I'll make you work hard then my dear"

Chiyo looks back at her stoic and inhumane grandson. She remembers back to when Sasori's parents were killed by the White Fang of Konoha, leaving her to raise Sasori herself. Deciding to pass down the Puppet Technique to Sasori, she recalls when he managed to recreate his parents through puppets in order to feel the parental love he never got
She snaps back to reality as Sasori forms the Iron Sand into high density shapes. Having no more puppets left, chiyo uses her chakra threads, she is able to help move fuu out of the way of the Iron Sand in order for fuu to use her bijiu Chakra Enhanced Strength in an attempt to take down Sasori who jumps away once again "tch" she also jumps away as the puppet sends a iron sand spear her way
Sasori forms the Iron Sand into a giant pyramid and rectangular prism, which he uses it to attack fuu but she is able to anticipate Sasori's movements, impressing Chiyo, and the former uses her Chakra Enhanced Strength to punch and kick the pyramid and rectangular prism around destroying builds around them
Impressed by fuu strength and control of her tailed beast and realising she could continue to repel his attacks, Sasori decides to expend more of the Third Kazekage puppet's chakra by creating more Iron Sand, which he manipulates into a gigantic sphere of branching spikes. Chiyo isn't able to move fuu as a rocks from one of destroyed houses falls on her so Fuu finds herself unable to block or evade and even fly away from the attack, and is helpless as the attack rains down on her.
Although she manages to avoid severe physical injury, it turns out Sasori had infused the Iron Sand with his special brand of poison, and that the Iron Sand's branches managed to cut fuu she collapses due to the poison.
"if left alone, you would die in three days but I won't allow you to die until we get to the base and extract the seven tails"
Revealing a blade hidden within the Third Kazekage puppet, he sends it towards fuu to make sure she never regains strength so that the battle can end, to everyones shock the girl leaps up and destroy the entire puppet in a single punch.
Sasori watches with internal shock as his best puppet is destroyed 'she shouldn't be able to stand unless her tailed beast already cured her?'
Fuu lifts rocks Iof chiyo "i'm so sorry granny I shouldn't have been been so reckless, are you okay?"
"no need to worry I'm fine the thing is if you're fine the poison is very lethal dear"

Sasori disrobes and reveals his puppet body which is equipped with various weapons along with his special brand of poison
His palms open up and he starts firing fire from them like a flamethrower causing the pair to run away from the attack and hide Behind the remains of a building
He uses his flamethrower palms on the rocks the pair are hiding behind. Chiyo attempts to attack Sasori using the head of the Third Kazekage puppet, but Sasori incinerates it. Sasori switches tactics and uses his Water Stream Shooters to destroy the rocks and the surrounding environment
Using the poison stinger attached to the coiled rope from his puppet body, Sasori attempts to stab them, but fuu grabs the poisoned coiled rope and uses her strength to pull it. Sasori thinks the action is useless and charges at Chiyo, spinning the propeller blades attached to his body at a high speed. Before he can decimate Chiyo, fuu manages to pull all of the rope, halting his attack and sending him flying towards her
Using her wings she unleashs a mini tornado that dismantles him into pieces, Fuu smiles believing the battle to be won and runs towards Chiyo, but the core reinserts itself into Sasori's puppet body, which is then reassembled.
Seeing this, Chiyo uses the White Secret Technique: The Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets, summoning the ten puppets created by the first Puppet Master Monzaemon Chikamatsu
"this is my trump card, this is only only for life and death situations like this"
"a remarkable collection but how will it fare against a collection that has taken down a whole village?" he says countering the move with his Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets, summoning one hundred puppets.
Fuu gets coated bijuu Chakra and gains two tails and slaughters any puppet her way with ease. Chiyo also smashes through the sea of puppets with the help of her Ten Puppets, showcasing that quality exceeds quantity, as Chiyo's ten puppets are far stronger than Sasori's one hundred
Chiyo and fuu seem to trap and defeat Sasori using Sealing Technique: Lion Closing Roar that seals away his Chakra, but, under the cover of battle, Sasori secretly transfers the only living part of his body, his core into another puppet.
Sasori rushes towards Chiyo with a poison-tipped sword, intent on killing his grandmother, but the cloaked fuu blitz him grabbing his sword and using it to stab his core
Everything goes quiet and fuu collapses due to exhaustion
"sasori" chiyo says sadly watched as life slowly left the Akatsuki member "even as you die I'm unable to help your loneliness"
"I lost, you're truly impressive grandmother, tell the Jinchūr-no fuu that she is also impressive"
"one important piece of information I can give is that our leader has the fabled rinnegan. And I was never lonely grandmother I had you I just never realized"
Chiyo forced herself to stand up and hug her grandson while sniffling at dying man who softly smiled 'I guess she was right about being human, emotions are the reason we can continue make beautiful art' he thinks before dying
