Laying on the ground defeated, (luffy) gaara realizes that his reason to hate uzumaki naruto is quiet dumb. Only in defeat did the memories flooded in
he was once known as monkey.d.Luffy a man with a 1.5 million bounty, he was a cheerful and kind-hearted pirate. This was why he hated uzumaki, he reminded him too much of his past self that he had blatantly tried to ran away from.
he remembered it all, his failure to save wano and instead watched it burn, he goofed around against kaido and ended letting his friends die, and in a moment of rage, he attacked kaido furiously but was easily disposed. That's the last thing he remembered as he woke in this new life in a detached state. He had lost his emotions and was unremorseful.
He wasn't always a monster he reminds himself, he used to be a kind hearted survivor, the live of the party and the main focus, instead of this stoic and sociopathic monster who felt no remorse. surely his crew would be disgusted by his empty shell now known as gaara
As gaara (luffy) listlessly contemplated live, his slibing's arrived and konkuro reluctantly reached to grab him, while temari cautiously approached uzumaki naruto to finish him. But Uchiha sasuke intercepts her by landing in front the immobile and groaning naruto
"Stop" gaara (luffy) replies in a fatigued tone "we're going home" he commands leaving no room for agurement, both kankuro and temari hesitate for a moment, but seeing no value in aguring with him, temari jumps to gaara and supports him like kankuro.
Quickly The sand nin departed through the trees
Seeing the sand nin leave and fade out of sight, sasuke drops to the ground before addressing the downed naruto next to him "you defeated gaara dobe" sasuke says with well hidden jealousy
"Hehehe, of course i did, after all I'll be the future hokage!" Naruto says enthusiastically despite his current condition
"You're to loud" sasuke angrily mutters
Looking serious for a moment naruto speaks "gaara was really something else, hard to believe someone like that was a genin" naruto states with admiration, even though sasuke didn't reply he was inclined to agree with naruto
'If i'm still struggling with genins how will i ever defeat itachi' sasuke cluches his fist in anger 'no i have to!, i need to be stronger' sasuke further thinks with urgency
"Teme, i need to tell you something" naruto says uncharacteristically serious, breaking sasuke out his thoughts
"What?" sasuke grumbles
"I wanna sleep" naruto says before comically going to sleep
"Huh!" Sasuke screams out "i'm not carrying you to the hospital dobe!!" Sasuke states looking flabbergasted. Sighing and scoffing he reluctantly picks up the sleeping teammate

In the sand village gaara could be found looking at the mirror, eye's narrowed "mon......key D lu....ff...y" he says slowly as he recalled his past memories 'i have ran away far too long' he thinks 'i'm luffy the captain of the strawhats' he thinks with a sad smile appearing on his face. While gaara(luffy) was contemplating himself, the village council held a meeting to address Sunagakure's current circumstances

"THIS IS THE WORST SUNAGAKURE HAS BEEN!!, EVEN THOSE KONOHA BASTARD'S FEEL SORRY fOR US!!" Ebizio a village elder rages out
"It can't be helped. we were tricked and lost our kazekage and various man, because we couldn't sniff out orochimarus scheme earlier on" chiyo another village elder says sighing out slowly
"Thats not the worst part Honoured Grandmother" a young council member says sadly
"Yeh, it seems like the smaller nations don't want to be associated with us after the konoha invasion" another young council member says
"It can't be helped. This horrendous situation is out of our hands. we have no suitable replacement for the kazekage, we lost a large margin of our man and are now vulnerable to attack from other great nations and futhermore terrorist will surely decrease alongside mission requests........... what a horrible time for sunagakure" ebizo summarizes the major issues prevailing in the village, everyone in the room felt helpless
"The biggest problem right now is who will take over the role of kazekage?" Chiyo asks frowning
"Baki is the only suitable replacement for the kazekage as it is" ebizio stoically answers
"What about gaara?" The young council member Kantou asks
"Surely you're joking kid, that brat would rather slaughter suna than help it!!" Ebizio furiously shouts at kantou
"Brother!" Chiyo says sternly "the boy has a valid point, if we can rehabilitate young gaara, we will have a strong kage, something we clearly need"
"You say that like it's gonna be easy" ebizio says clearly exhausted "right now we have other important matters. 'rehabilitating' the brat we be a secondary concern" he calmly says before dismissing the council meeting

Hands folded, luffy stood in front of a tree with a thoughtful look
"Ha...ki" luffy says slowly 'can i still utilize it?' he thinks as he puts his hand up and it slowly turns black
"Armament check!" Luffy states cheerfully with a wide smile "ryou!!" He shouts out as he extends he's hand to the tree. the tree implodes from the inside out. "Good! Now Observation haki!" He states as he closes he's eyes and starts sensing the environment around him 'it obviously works, i can still see 10 seconds in the future' his thoughts are stopped when he senses a presence coming towards him, the presence hide's it's chakra when it nears him
"Temari come out" luffy says calmly. This shocks temari as she exits the trees eyes widened
"Gaara" temari cautiously states
Luffy uncaringly speaks "what can i do for you" he says with a hint of emotion in his tone, something temari takes note of
"The kazekage initiation ceremony is about to start, i was sent to get you by the village elders" temari says with a stiff tone
"Sounds boring" luffy blandly mutters before speaking once more "tell the old farts that I'm not attending" he says nonchalantly
Temari looks hesitant but eventually nods and goes away
When temari finally leaves, luffy closes his eyes again "shukaku" he states as he stands in front of the barely sealed one tail
"Brat?!!" He screeches out, surprised by gaaras sudden appearance "so you can enter the sealnow huh!. Is it because of all that monkey d.something business?" He lazily asks
Luffy ignores Shakaku's statement and insteads intently stares at him "what!" The one tail screeches annoyed by the stare
"You're pretty weak for a tailed beast" luffy blantly "all that talk, only to be defeated by a toad" luffy says before he starts laughing hysterically at shukaku
"SHUT UP TWERP!!!" Shukaku roars out in anger, but it doesn't faze luffy as he started rolling on the groumd in laughter
"STOP!!IT'S FUNNY YOU BASTARD, I BE STRONGER THAN THE DAMN FOX, YOU WILL SEE!!!" Luffy stops laughing as he sees the one tail sudden sadness "you have emotions?" He asks
"NO!! You didn't see anything" shukaku mumbles angrily
Luffy sighs as he jumps to stand up and sits crossed lagged in front of shukaku "you will surpass the kyubui as i will surpass uzumaki" luffy brightly says holding out his hand in a fist gesture "we both lost to them, and we both wanna settle the score so let's do it". Shukaku looks at the fist in shock before he turns sideways "it was never in question dumb brat" Shukaku quietly grumbles
Luffy scoffs and smirks before laying down on the sand that filled the landscape "you act like one of those girls in kankuro's dumb romcom books" luffy says laughing at shikaku's behavior
Shukaku blushes in embarrassment and anger "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A GIRL YOU DUMB TWERP!!"
Luffy doesn't acknowledge shukaku's shouting and continues speaking "i like this place, it's better than the world as a whole." Luffy says feeling peaceful after 13 year's of agony
Shukaku "tch, speak for youself, if you like this place so much. Lets swap places then! give me your body"
"Nah" luffy listlessly replies before his eyelids get heavy. Yawning luffy closes he's eyes and sleeps
"I will allow you to rest this once, so don't get to comfortable" shuku says in a strangely feminine voice

Wano kuni was currently burning, and luffy watched uselessly as he couldn't do anything, as kaido dropped his flame clouds holding onigashima, this made ongishima fall. The impact had destroyed both the flower capital and ongishima. The strawhat captain monkey.d.luffy looked at his surrounding that was filled with blood and fire.
Luffy could be seen shaking as his body strained in pain,exhaustion and fear
"I killed all your allies and crewmembers" kaido says menacingly striding to the kneeling luffy
"Shut up" luffy weakly says
"Worororororo your will has crumbled strawhat, i haven't had a fight this denting in 22 years, so I'll make your death quick and honorable"
"NO!" Luffy cries out before launching himself at the yonko. Kaido simply backhands the charging captain
"Give up kid" kaido says looking down on the strawhat captain that tried to raise to his feat but failing every time
"no no no no no NO!!" Luffy screams out with tears flowing out his eyes before he finally gives up
"I can't bear to watch anymore" kaido says bringing down his haki coated kanabo on luffy who doesn't even try to dodge
