Part of the Pack

Naruto jumped out of his bed, gasping and pulling at the sheets, he had a dream full of war a fighting. He claimed out of bed taking deep breaths. Slowly he made he's way out of the room and towards the living room, a walk wouldn't hurt right?

Naruto went outside and sat down in the grass a beautiful flowers, he looked up and stared at the moon, it was comforting. He couldn't place his finger on it nor could he fight the calm it brought him. Sasuke would disagree with him saying the sun comforted him, but who cares what that teme thinks right?

As he sat there he looked at the stars trying to find or create his own constellations. He watched as bats flew passed listened to the sound of the trees blowing in the wind, felt the smooth surface of beautiful flower petals, the ones Sakura always loved and would make flower crowns with to give to kaguya. He admired the darkness and art that Sai enjoyed the most yet he himself could never understand.....

He heard a twig snap....

He waited

He stayed silent

No sound follow

He felt eyes on him

He felt someone close, he couldn't tell how, kakashi always says he's feeling their chakra but he doesn't care in this moment he's scared... And he's scared if he moves they'll know that he knows their there. Tears build up in his eyes, he wants to run, to get kakashi to protect him and to hide but he stays frozen.

Breath, he can almost hear kakashi voice in his head, he's hyperventilating.

He takes deep breaths but still remains frozen in place, he wonders what they're planning to do, are they going to kill him? Kill his siblings? His sweet sweet baby sister kaguya? Annoying but amazing big brother Sasuke? His psycho protective big sister Sakura? Weird brother sai? Would they be able to beat kakashi like nothing?

He listens for more noises he feels the chakras they have, their eyes, the remind him of how kakashi's one eye feels like. Itd be comforting if this person wasn't watching him from the shadows, they were far enough away but not far enough to make him feel safe to move. The rubs the petals of the flowers trying to distract himself.

If Sasuke, Sakura , or even Sai were in his place would they be braver? Would they move? Will moving be the thing that gets him killed? Should he try to be brave? Should he try to fight? He would but this person they feel strong, scary, deadly...... Breath

He finally builds up the courage to look behind him .....
