Chapter 1
Kakashi put 5 plates down on the out table of a small cabin that was in the middle of the woods.
"Kids come on!! It's lunch time!!" He called out the the five children playing in the field. Each one ran to the table laughing happily. The first was a blonde 6 year old with blue eyes and whiskers, next was 2 black haired and eyed children one 6 while the other 7, and lastly a 6 year old pink haired girl with green eyes on her back laid younger girl with pale skin and white hair, eyes light purple it almost looked white, she was 2.
They all sat down and ate happily, thanking kakashi. He wondered how he got in this horrible mess, but he couldn't remember. All he knows is that they all de-aged and only he remembered the past.
He looked at the kids, Sai, Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, and lastly Kaguya. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he was able to figure out that they were in the Warring Clan States.
They were in a small house in a huge empty field, it had 4 very small rooms, a small kitchen (with the table outside) and living room combo 2 rooms are down stairs and 2 rooms upstairs with 1 bathroom. Now your probably wondering how he built the house in a short amount of time? He didn't it was an abandoned house that he had cleaned up.
(Don't question it it's plot reasons 😓)
He tried to stay away from all of the clans and everything, he didn't want to effect the future who knows what would happen if he did.
"Kaka-nii what are you thinking about" Naruto lightly pulled on his shirt "I'm going to have to go to the village near by for some more supplies" he didn't fully lie, he really did, they were running low on food and they haven't even been there for 2 weeks yet. "Babas can I comeeeeeee plweaseeeee" Kaguya jumped from her seat pulling his hand. "I'm sorry not this time" she pouted as he patted her head "isn't it your nap time now that your done eating?" He picked her up "noooooooooooooooooooo" she giggled as he took her to her and Sakura's room (down stairs room next to kakashi's. Sasuke and Naruto share one of the bedrooms upstairs while sai has his own room upstairs.)
The other kids laughed at their baby sisters antics. "Hey you guys wanna play tag after we finish" Naruto says happily "Im gonna go paint after we finish eating" Sai says much to Naruto's displeasure. "I'm going to pick flowers and make flower crowns for kaguya-chan" Sakura looks over to the bunches of flowers near the forest. Naruto looks at Sasuke with desperation, Sasuke looked back at him with fake sympathy "I'm reading a book" Naruto huffed annoyed.
"You guys were fine playing earlier!!" Naruto started pouting "Naru you can pick flowers with me" Sakura tried to comfort her little brother. "I don't wanna! I'll find something else to do" he put his arms behind his head.
Kakashi came back from the girls rooms "I have to go now, Sai please keep an eye on everyone your the oldest while I'm gone" Sai nods. Kakashi said his goodbyes and left for the closest village.
Everyone finished their lunch and went on to do their own thing while Naruto stayed back thinking about what to do. He could prank them but kakashi would be upset with him and he didn't want to make him upset, kakashi seemed to be having a hard time lately. Naruto hummed think of what he could do.
He decided to explore a little, kakashi said not to go passed the woods but what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him right? Naruto looked around to make sure no one was watching before he made his way into the woods.
Naruto was looking everywhere this forest was so beautiful, he wondered why kakashi never wanted them to go in it. There were beautiful plants, flowers that Sakura would never find in the field. He decided to pick some and bring them back to her.
He continued walking for a while looking at everything he could but making sure to walk in a straight line so he didn't get lost (which was a lot harder for him the you think) he stopped when he saw slashes in a tree, similar to when kakashi-nii was training with his Kunai but bigger. He figured it must have been a bear or something because why would be training out here in the middle of nowhere, besides no one was around where they were.
He started getting bored so he sat down on the ground Infront of a tree and sighed, exploring was so dang tiring. He felt so calm that he could fall asleep but he forced himself to stay awake, he'd have to go home soon anyway .
"URG" he heard a loud groan and footsteps, he panicked looking for a hiding place, one of the trees nearby had a small hole that was just big enough for him to hide in so he quickly climb into the hole to hide the best he could.
He saw as around someone ran passed, the seemed hurt. He wondered what happened to the poor person, he then watched 5 or 6 more people ran after them. He was the fighting, it was clear they were trying to kill him. It scared Naruto, what if they found him? He was starting to understand why they weren't aloud to go into the forest. He now wanted to go home more then anything in the world.
After a while and he was sure they were gone he climbed out of the hole and started running back to the cabin, he ran as far as his little legs would carry him. It didn't take long before he was back home. And he almost immediately he ran into Sasuke "where were you?" He asked. Naruto panicked think of an excuse. "My ball rolled in the woods I was looking for it" he lied looking down in fake shame, Sasuke looked skeptical but didn't push "you wanna go in our room? We can play with our blocks and build stuff, I'm bored of reading" Sasuke didn't wait for an answer and started dragging Naruto upstairs to their room.
Naruto was still freaked out by what happened but calmed down now that he was with his brother. They went to their room and started building a tower with the blocks. "What do you think nii-sans gonna make for dinner?" Sasuke asks "I don't know but I hope it's ramen" Naruto said happily "I hope its tomato soup or something" Sasuke mumbled before adding "I hope it's no more stew, we've had that for a while now" Naruto hummed in response.
Sai came into the room soon later "nii-san is home come, he said to go to the living room" Naruto and Sasuke nodded and followed him down stairs to help kakashi if he needed it or stay in the living room until dinner was done.
When they got down stairs Kaguya and Sakura were already there playing with dolls. Kaguya jumped up and hugged Naruto and Sasuke, who both smiled down at her. "Sasu Naru can chu read me story" she looked up with her puppy dog eyes, they looked at each other before says yes to her request. Sasuke went upstairs to look for a book and Naruto picked her up and set her on the couch and sat next to her, making sure to have enough room for Sasuke on the the other said of her.
Sasuke came down only a few minutes later with a book that they had started reading not to long ago, they started reading and Kaguya happily listen making sure not to miss a thing. Soon Sakura and Sai joined them.
Kakashi listen to the happy laughter on the children while reading their story, while their situation was bad, he was very happy in this moment. He felt like he could truly live peacefully for once in his life. He wanted it to stay like this forever.
